West End Clinic: what do users think?
Phillip elder: I was a patient for 5 years attended many clinics in st Louis area all the way back to dart in '98 I've seen how they all are ran and it's the only place that's black owned and staffed there is not one white, Hispanic, Asian even the guard is blk one thing about it that separates it from other clinics is you hardly see your counselor after COVID it's just over the phone the doctor will not under any circumstances put you over 100mg even if you transfer they accept Medicaid and private pay you only go Mon thru Fri takes on Sat sun other clinics 7 days a week including holidays I left to go to the hospital for 9 months and when I was discharged they made up an excuse that I was taking narcotic pain meds witch I was titrated off of in the hospital they have zero tolerance for any pain meds if you take benzos they want you to jump through so many hoops you may have to stop all in all if you blk and Wana stop opioids this is your place

INSynergy Personalized Addiction Care: what do users think?
MJ: Insynergy is an excellent program. I found it to be a highly personalized and comprehensive program. Dr. Taca and staff are caring and compassionate. Alcohol is a tough substance to quit and Insynergy gave me the tools to do just that. I’m on my way to 4 years sobriety thanks to them.
Julie Lengfelder: I joined INSynergy in April 2019. This practice is TRULY personalized as advertised. I felt that I was treated as a person, in addition to being a patient. Kindness, compassion, empathy, was what I received from the professional staff. When I “slipped” from sobriety on occasion, I was not judged. I felt that the staff was there to listen, to offer suggestions on what my triggers were for these slips. I have always thought that alcoholism is a disease. For me, recovery is a health issue, not a moral issue as I used to find in some 12 step programs. I am truly impressed by the programs, both individual and group which INSynergy offers. I have met lovely people who share my frustration with the disease. It feels good not to be alone. Thank you, Dr. Taca, and your wonderful staff for the opportunities you have given me these past 3 years. Julie
Joshua Robinson: THANK YOU! This facility allowed me to quit suboxone and experience virtually no withdrawal symptoms. I cannot stress what an amazing device the Bridge is; please look into it if you or someone else feels trapped. I no longer have that constant fear in the back of my mind that I will have to worry about being sick if I don't have my medicine. I don't ever want to feel that restricted again.Everyone at the office literally took care of all my needs at all hours of the day/night during the final withdrawal period. If I recall, I believe they told me that the most important thing to know about the device, is that it MUST be put on at the proper time during the withdrawal onset symptoms for maximum results (according to COWS scoring). Also, don't forget about PAWS afterwards. It's a huge decision, don't just listen to me...The team will educate you on anything you are unsure of. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time though. Basically, I finally feel like I am fully in control of my life again. Thank you, everyone. So, if you are at a low enough dose of whatever and are ready to make the jump, please do yourself a favor and call these guys. The only reason that this hasn't caught on is because there is too much money in the pharmaceutical industries (they don't want to "cure" addicts, then no one needs their medicine). If you are mentally ready, this may be the right choice for you. I went through hardcore cold turkey detox from several grams of fentanyl a day before I got onto suboxone and nearly died. It was almost completely painless when I ended at 2mg of suboxone. No one paid me to write this. I just know how much it helped me, and how many people are out there suffering. Why wouldn't I help others with the information? Good luck. Family support, counseling, complete honesty, lots of TV, adhering to some semblance of a schedule (walk the dog?), a strong, ready mindset, and religion all helped me. It took many relapses, lies, and regrets to get to where I am now. You can do it though.Edit: Please disregard the one star reviews. They break my heart. Addiction recovery is a 2-way street with each and every person you encounter along the way. Half of the time you are either sick or feeling completely cynically hopeless, perpetually seeing the glass half-empty. You lie awake by the toilet for days without sleep. You almost welcome death because the withdrawal is so long and miserable. I was lucky I had full support, but these people may not have someone to keep them going or did not do the process properly. You simply cannot do it alone once you are so far gone... Also, if you are trying to recover and you ever go into precipitated withdrawal - go to the hospital. There's no reason to risk going back to the street during your moment(s) of weakness. Many of these lower reviews sound like people who still aren't ready to quit, or are still living two lives. There is nothing to be ashamed about. It's all how you move forward with your next most important decisions. If anyone ever has any questions from someone who went through their process - I will happily answer anything about my experience/where I am at today, just to show what INSynergy is capable of. Have them reach out and we can go from there. Now that I am off of opiates, it is part of my life mission to help other addicts recover once and for all.
Jacob Licavoli: All I can say is wow. From misinformed nurses to administering extended release medications with no antidote in the case a pt experiences adverse reactions. if you become one of the lucky ones that does get an adverse reaction to vivitrol, good luck, you will be in hell for at least 21 days. Oh and the best part is they refuse to treat your adverse side effects and refer you to your primary care provider instead. In the real world we call that technique ‘pass the trash’ lol
william kiburz: I’ve been struggling with opiate dependency for decades and started seeking treatment in 1997. I had basically given up hope that I could ever be free from dependency until I met Dr Taca. His approach & most of all his compassion is exactly what I needed. I came to trust and respect his entire team Jaime, Rick, Jordan & Hannah all helped me in different & needed ways. Ashley was with me from the first day to the last & I would follow her off a cliff. This is a special group of people and I feel so lucky to have found them. I will never forget the miracle they performed on me and I urge anyone struggling to reach out to them. If you want to get clean, they can help you get there !
Logan Walters: They tried to put me on meds that a REAL surgeon who was a doctor told me would have almost killed me. So apperantly they have no clue what they are doing. Also I could sue them for breaking doctor patient relationship when they called my family members without me knowing, people who were not marked to be allowed to see my records.Update: they are trying to make the situation right, which is nice, unfortunately this was about 5 years ago so I really dont have any interest in the situation anymore, I was just posting my experience at the place. I'm sure MANY people HAVE been helped by them. Just not me. Thank you for trying to make things right though, it is appreciated.
Adam: I am extremely grateful for the treatment I have received from Dr. Taca, along with the support of Insynergy’s caring and compassionate staff. They are the sole reason I have managed to become sober after 5 years spent abusing multiple addictive substances. I had been in and out of various kinds of treatment, inpatient and outpatient, for almost three years before I arrived at Insynergy. Their method of providing the addict the personal attention of a medical doctor was a total game changer for me. No other outpatient I have been to has a similar approach–to their detriment.Simply put, If I had not enrolled in Insynergy’s program, I would still be caught in the awful cycle of abuse and withdrawal that had defined each year of my life post high school.I wholeheartedly recommend anyone still caught in that cycle to give Insynergy a chance.
James Miller: Incompetent at billing. Push extraordinarily expensive versions of the same drugs you can get generic for 10 bucks a month. Have two therapists on staff one of whom disappeared for weeks. Group therapy, 4 times out of 5 was me and one therapist. Lose payments. Want frequent urine tests that they send out for no reason since they get results immediately that bill insurance $3600 a pop (no joke). Change their number with no notice. The list goes on and on.
Susan Tucci: Dr. Arturo Taca has undoubtedly saved not just my life, but many other lives as well. The entire office staff genuinely cares for each individual and seeks to consistently ensure that they are given an all encompassing program, which is so very necessary to move forward in a positive direction. Thank you everyone at INSynergy for your dedication & hard work.
Sweet Bella: This facility did its job in helping me with my addiction. However, they have a lot of things they need to fix. As a rehabilitation center they need to admit and acknowledge their mistakes to set a good example for their patients. Excusing and overlooking things doesn't put out the right message to addiction patients. We as addicts mess up we wouldn't be there nor would they be making money if we didn't. Despite the mistakes you should feel welcomed at your rehabilitation center and feel like you can open up to them and talk to them about what's going on. Instead you feel their judgement without words but in their eyes you can see it and feel it. Positive reinforcement is what I believe a rehabilitation center should be pushing, to help patients feel like they can trust and go without judgement/punishment/dissapointment in there clinic. "It's okay everyone makes mistakes but let's try and do something different so this doesn't happen again." Nonetheless, you can also hear the staff talking when they think they are out of range, and the things that are said are very unprofessional. Without us addicted feeding your pockets for your support and help there would be no insynergy rehabilitation center, so don't forget why you guys are really there. It doesn't matter if you guys aren't in a good mood, if that's the case leave it at the door or take an off day cause we don't need that nor do we pay for that.People may not be using their real names for a reason, Dr. Taca/Ashley it's because they don't want the entire world to know they are an addict. It doesn't mean they weren't a real patient.

Queen of Peace Center: what do users think?
Larry Rhines: My Wife Akita J. is there and I believe these people are the best at there job because she choose this place of all places to get help. I know the people here are dedicated to their jobs and their commitment to helping people regain the lives back. I LOVE YOU MY QUEEN!!!!!!!!
Shannon McMahon: I was hesitate. But this place changed my life there is some staff is amazing St Phil staff are da best it was the best choice I ever made
Ilene Davis: I love the Queen of Peace , inpatient and outpatient help for recovering addicts, many counselors and medical help if needed. They also help with clothing bus tickets psychiatric help as well as addressing medical issues as well as issues dealing with addiction. Welcome to Watkins definitely would recommend this facility to anyone in need of help.
Terry Steward: I Valerie Rounds rate Queen Of Peace a 0.00 just because their program is very disrespectful far as Staff calling peers dope feens and threatening peers with discharging them and a rude in disrespectful way which is UnprofessionalAnd how far is like the
Jacinta Hall: This was an new situation for meIt has its perks good an badI'ts up to you to get what you need out ofYour treatment the time your there..An it's up to you to want it cold hearted.Don't waste your time if your not sure if you want to be sober to save you..An can't no one make you want it or take it...we Are not 'PERFECT"SO DONT KEEP REVOLVING threw the doors rehabilitation center...You will be wasting you time an taking up space for someone who really wants itHave A GREAT DAY
Tiffinie Raby: Queen of peace saved my life. Best part about it was you dont need insurance!
Tina Guy: Helped me out with my dependency, very thankful for their help
ShoK VipeR: When they do decide to answer, the reception staff has no professionalism, lack of knowledge of anything that involves the building. Hung up on me 4 times asking questions regarding my son, not about his mother thats a patient. Just where I need to go to pick him up. Simple. Pretty much, where is the front door? *click* such arrogance. This happened months ago. It's just still on my mind how unhelpful they are.
Rebecca Machiran: Queen of Peace SAVED MY LIFE! They have great staff who work hard to make sure you have a place to go once you're done with inpatient. They make sure you get any legal issues worked on. They do whatever they can to make sure you start putting your life back in order. Beth was my CSS counselor and she is hands down the best! She was there for me every step of the way. They let you keep your kids there in inpatient. They have daycare. And they take in pregnant women immediately. I Have nothing but good things to say about them. They are wonderful and I don't know where I would be without their support, probably dead. It wasn't always easy, but if you put in the work, it WILL WORK.
Daniel: I had a business relationship with QoP as a contract vendor. Very poor communication from leadership, poor follow-through and execution on agreed upon terms, and very slow to issue payment. It's disappointing when nonprofits with a crucial mission lack effective management controls and leadership.
Carrie Francis: Helps tremendously!
Danaya Kates: They kick you out for nothing. The dont help you. Some of the staff help you best way they can. Other try living hard. When have problems with staff dont help you. When put out they dont help you. You are on own.
Natalie Vivian: It helps with my addiction
Dorothy Crawford: I worked here for over 25years as, a Registered Nurse and Director of Health Services and found it to be a most gratifying job to see the women change their lives.
Kassandra Kramer: Not only do they get drug help but they also allow your kids to b there. They help with apartments and jobs and help to keep your kids with u
Gloria Franke: It was the best thing that ever happened to me. That was 3 1/2 yrs ago and I'm still clean.
Alyce Woods: This program had been a great influence in my life all staff work with. What you put into your program goes according to what you want in life and the staff support you. That goes along way in recovery. I thank God daily for Queen of Peace!!!!!!!!
Kay Terry: I am a true witness...this program works if you work it....Just keep comming back
