Thaxton Speakeasy: what do users think?
evansbt1: I friend brought me here for my birthday. It was an amazing experience. the vibe, the specialty drinks and the atmosphereService: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
John Miller: I read the reviews and there’s a special password? It seems like they don’t really want much business. I would Definitely not want to arrive and not get in. Where are the passwords? Interesting concept in theory but off putting and snooty. Sorry for the 1 star but can’t even figure out how to go to this joint.
Ben Kurz: Matthew Douglas is the man!
Cody Cummings: The Thaxton Speakeasy is a well kept secret of downtown St. Louis. Their cocktails are really well made and their beer selection is pretty good too. The bar staff is always a delight, and they add to the vibe of the whole experience. The Thaxton has a great mix of Art Deco and Art Nuevo décor that helps transport you back to the days of prohibition. Finding the speakeasy is the easy part, but you’ll need to snoop around on their social media to find out how to get the secret password of the week. This place makes for a great date night or a cool place to meet up with friends for a good cocktail.
Amanda Anderson-Gonzalez: Bartenders were awesome and staff was great. Definitely a fun experience.
ellis473: Super neat, chill spot. Staff is fun, engaging, and easy to work with, drinks are tasty and the vibe is wonderful.
Kevin C: This was an interesting experience. I visited solo expecting to mingle with cool people in a cool space. I was put on a waitlist so I thought the place would be hopping…after receiving a texts and being escorted downstairs, I was told to place my order at the bar the have a seat in my assigned seat, which was a wingback chair in the corner. Every party has their own assigned seats here, even the couples seated at the bar. No one was standing or interacting. I had a drink and left. It felt more like a table-service only, speakeasy/restaurant. The space was cool and has tons of potential, but the vibe was flat. Not ideal for solo patrons.
Peter Maliha: Beautiful hidden gem. Requires password for entry. The host is a peculiar guy who is initially intimidating but then you realize that he is appropriately in character for the place’s vibe and it becomes amusing. Drinks are great, music is on point, and decor is beautiful. Highly recommended.
Guy P: I think this place is permanently out of business. Went through the trouble of creating an Instagram account to get the password. Showed up at the alley entrance, rang the door bell. No response, the alley is totally dark, I've been to a lot of speakeasies, there is usually a light by the secret entrance, this place is totally dark. Very dangerous. Don't go.
Derek Metcalf: Love it
Ayano Tominaga: No T-mobile signal in the basement.
N. J. Sorensen: The Thaxton Speakeasy is a unique and interesting place to visit for anyone who seeks a change of pace from the usual bar scene. This speakeasy is hidden away, accessible only through a secret entrance, adding to its allure and mystique.Once you're inside, you'll be transported back to the 1920s with its atmospheric lighting, vintage decor, and authentic speakeasy vibe. The specialty drinks are top-notch, with a focus on classic cocktails made with premium ingredients. From gin fizzes to old fashioneds, there's something for everyone. One of the standout features of the Thaxton Speakeasy is the friendly but stuffy staff. They are knowledgeable about the drinks and the history of speakeasies, and are more than happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. The best time to visit the Thaxton Speakeasy is on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night when it is open to the public and not privately booked. However, it is first come, first served, so it's best to arrive early to ensure you get a seat. Note that while there are some special events with live music, most nights there is no live music.Overall, the Thaxton Speakeasy is a unique and interesting destination for anyone who seeks an escape from the everyday. With its atmospheric decor, top-notch drinks, and friendly but stuffy staff, it's sure to provide a memorable and enjoyable experience for anyone who stops by.
Elite Collectibles: This place is really cool with amazing architecture, lots of great pin up art and an amazing setup.
Nicole Christ: Super cool place and vibe!
Staci “Anastasia Di Thyone” Heath: I have been at this location twice for photo shoots and the art work is simply amazing in this building. 😍
Ric Castillo: Stumbled across this well-appointed, hidden spot just before New Year's weekend and went a couple of times. Beautiful details convey the period well. Have your password ready and banter a little with the doorman. Once seated, walk up to the bar to order. First cocktail was obviously for the crowds, but talk to the clever and accommodating staff: they'll make you something more interesting. Don't like cocktails (...I mean, why?) - they even have Montucky!
Ryan Franks: We went to the Thaxton for a wedding. The place is beautiful, and the bar downstairs is amazing. The bar staff was knowledgable and the guys working that night were super helpful. Everyone had a great time.
Ken Treadway: Great drinks and an excellent atmosphere for a drink. And the event space is very cool as well, if you're privileged and special enough (like me) to experience it!
Allen Adams: Amazing place! Went for a wedding, staff was fantastic and friendly, food was great. If you're a fan of this art style you'll love it here.
Lauren: Great old fashioned. The waitresses were lovely and the door man was fun to interact with. The atmosphere was excellent and intimate and I loved that they only allow a certain amount of people in at a time. It allows for a more enjoyable time.
Darnell Kebo: 9/22/2022: My kind of spot! Great cocktails and friendly staff.

Start Bar: what do users think?
Cordell Tucker: My 1st here from Florida and i had a great time, nice crowd tooFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nate B: This place was okay. Beer on draft was not a good selection. Most were in cans. The crowd was a little rough. Games were fun. We had to pay a $5 cover to enter. There was a person following us outside asking for money on the way in and out of the place. I would be careful if you want to go.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ellena Keener: Very dirty and weird place. Bouncers were creepy. Would not recommend this for a younger crowd at all. Same with wheelhouse.
Prus P.: My friends got there 5 min before and they pay 10 bucks.. I have to pay 20 bucks?
Prudence Evans: I used to go here all the time and it was fun, but now it gets boring very quickly. Not many games to play anymore. Most of them are broken and don’t give coins back. Used to have a space for dancing and they no longer have the N64 upstairs. Only good thing here are the drinks.
Rachel Young: Went for an adoption event, for a local rescue. The staff was great, and very accommodating with my shy foster....
Karim Benzema: I recently had a great experience at Start Bar. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the drinks were delicious. I would definitely recommend Start Bar to anyone looking for a great night out.
Camaron Ballard: Don’t go for the games. While they are very affordable compared to other arcade bars, the lack of variety and selection makes the experience rather boring very quickly
my dogs like boiled eggs: Kinda douchey.
Mitchell Bailey: All the games are broken and security is subpar
Icy: Allie gave excellent customer service and made great drinks
Bernard O'Smiley: 🤐💇⛄😳🥞
Jaii's LuxkyCorner: Club Took my money ($100) then put me in handcuffs bc I asked why I got a free bracelet and not my friend. Was man handled by the officer on duty at the club .Tried calling but not getting any answers. I would love my money back especially bc I spent money on my card and was treated like s👏It!
SupaBwad: Pretty awful. Nothing worked, everything was spilled on. Tons of security to stare at me as i walk in then they're nowhere around when people try to start fights and throw glasses across the bar. Don't get a security job to convince other dudes how hot you are, I'm not interested. They were useless. They have garbage games and none of the buttons work. I didn't have a single game that didn't steal money either. I asked for a well drink and she poured skyy. This place should close.
Krista Hoormann: Expensive and all the games are partially busted. Had a meat market vibe for kids born in the early 2000s.
Erin Ruby: Like 5 games here. They shouldn't call it a game bar. Also, they took stools we were sitting on out from under us while we were eating. Ewww.Go to Up Down.
นันทัชพร ว่องย่อง: nice
DeAnna Garvin: Lots of fun
B. Crawford: A bar with a lot of games. Wine selection is awful. The rest of bar selection is good.
stlbluenote11: I wish I could give this place zero stars. Everything is overpriced, from the games to the drinks to the food. The pizza, which comes by the slice, is incredibly greasy and barely passes at pizza. But truly what makes this place terrible is the security and management. Both are incredibly rude to non-patrons and those waiting outside, and only care about those inside because they want to get your money. Patrons routinely harass people outside of the bar, and neither management or security dissuades this behavior. Security and management also block off public sidewalks and the only ADA entrances to the nearby parking garage and refuse to let those who park get through to their cars.If you're looking for an arcade bar, do not come here. Start bar does not deserve your money. You will have a much better experience at Up Down in the Central West End.

Small Change STL: what do users think?
Michael Binkley: Great neighborhood bar. Came here for a RDPR viewing party but stayed for the wonderful backyard patio space and cocktails. While it can get a little busy depending on the night, the crowd is always friendly. Glad to have stumbled upon it.
Gregory Forck: Super fun semi-divey cocktail joint. Atmosphere is cool and drinks are great. Just a comfortable place to get a perfectly made cocktail!
Sarah Tisdale: Approachable staff, unique and reasonably priced seasonal cocktails (including NA ones that are actually 0% ABV), and in generally just a welcoming and cozy environment!
Benjamin Fuchs: Came in on a whim for Miracle. What a cool joint, great atmosphere and staff. All kinds of drink selections. Must stop here in or out of xmas season.
Stuart Keating: My only complaint about Small Change is they didn't exist when I lived half a block away. It's a low-key cocktail bar where I can, with equal comfort and ease, meet up with my punk rock idiot friends or take my 70 year old mother in law for a pre-dinner drink.Always amazing cocktails and service, courtesy of Harrison, one of the best people in the industry.
Vicente: A great "hidden" gem with good vibes. Visiting STL and we stumbled upon Small Change to attend pop trivia and drag with Jewel Charger. My friends and I had such a great time, and enjoyed some great drinks. The manager, Elliot, was amazing and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend!
Felicia Bentley: One of my favorite spots in the whole world.
Pat Langosch: Good vibes here
Jason Wever: One of the best *blank* in StL, check them off:✔️ cocktail bars✔️ dive bars✔️ barsYep this place rules.
Matthew Gehrke: Very cute queer friendly bar with a nice patio.
Zora Williams: Great neighborhood bar. Great cocktails. Friendly staff.
Mitch Cunningham: Love the ambiance and the service. Can’t go wrong with a patio during an Saint Louis summer, right?!
Sean Schmid: One of the hands down best cocktail bars I've been to
Travis Richardson: Fun neighborhood hangout
Dony Anthony: Fun and friendly bartenders! They have creative and flavorful cocktails if you're looking for something fancy 🍹
April Kohtz: Smaller patio area along with a decent sized indoor space. Their cocktails are creative, most were very good!
Alexander Brosseau: Amazing seasonal cocktails. Lots of expertise and creativity
Whitney Wallace: Amazing cocktails and a low-key vibe. Diverse clientele. A sweet spot for me in the city.
Tess Gorman: Delicious and awesome patio area!
Natalie Mansouri: Good cocktails
Eric Dettmer: Really cool vibe and very friendly service. But I think they could be a little more transparent about their mixed drink prices. The bartender talked my buddy into what apparently was a really good drink, but didn't mention it was an $11 drink.

The Haunt: what do users think?
Jeff Guilds: Trash
Mitch Shelton: They have a dog!!!!!!
Adam Zeek: Awesome bar.
Robert Cole: Heavy pours, great spooky decor, and a FOOSBALL TABLE! OH YEAH! THAT'S THE STUFF! great local.
TJ Hubbs: I love this place! Amazing Halloween themed dive bar, very queer friendly and just a fantastic relaxed vibe.
Brianna Licciardi: My boyfriend and I came here in March 2021 and it was our favorite dive bar we’ve been to across the country. Great bar staff, friendly atmosphere and we made some friends!! 🖤💀
Luke Antrobus: Halloween every day of the year? Yes please! The staff here has always treated us well and the regulars are easy to warm up to. The decor is totally bitchin' if you're into spooky stuff. Drink prices are always fair and you definitely get what you pay for. They have a nice pool table in the middle of the bar, (Might be free on Tuesdays, don't quote me) and have a pool league there as well. Bathrooms are small and the cleanliness largely depends on your fellow patrons by the time you use it, but it definitely gets cleaned regularly. patio is great. There is a covered smoking section that is enclosed and heated in the winter and opened up in the summer. Have fire a pit and plenty of patio seating any month outside of October. They do a haunted house in the back patio section for Halloween that is actually really good for the space they take up with live actors and all that, they charge different prices for it over the years but it's usually like 10 bucks and if it's super slow they'll might let you do it for free... Good drinks, good times, great dive bar.
Shona Phillips: Great atmosphere, owners are fun, bartenders are a blast!! If you like Halloween, this is the place for you!
Darryl DeClue: Love the Halloween atmosphere, Halloween is my all time favorite holiday, can't wait for Halloween, my girlfriend and I are going dressed up☺️
Audrey: I always love going here. You'll fit in, no matter who you are. Friendly and awesome dog on site. Huge back patio area. It's fun and interesting! Pool table, table games, TV's, local news material.
Barbra anne Piper: The decor and vibe us great if you are into Halloween and haunted houses. The layout is nice, not too big, great back patio area.I got to talk to the owner for a while and he was charming and nice. Candy. Was tending bar and she was a doll, both if them were just great to chat with.If you are looking for a little neighborhood bar that's quirky and creative check it out! Plus they have a dog and that makes it better always!!
Jay Johnson: Walking by and stopped in for a drink - we ended up staying the whole night. Lots of fun
Tiara Williams: Great bar with welcoming employees. The drinks are strong at a reasonable price. The Halloween decor is great!
Alicia Fiorino: Amazing environment love this bar!
Eric White: Best Bartender's ever! Good drinks very very reasonable! The atmosphere is a bit of everyone. Come enjoy yourselves on the patio or at the bar with Trish! Good times = Good Vibes
The Scare Factor: Great bar! We were in town for the Halloween and attractions tradeshow, Transworld. We were so glad we found this bar. It's decorated with horror memorabilia. If you are attending the convention, you may need to Uber or drive here. It's worth a visit! The bar bouncer was a dog that greeted us at the front door!
Tami McFarland: Was on a first date with a guy, and we totally love going to places like this so we thought it would be fun. We walked in during peak hours, and all the lights were on, like 5 black guys were standing around doing nothing, and no one was behind the bar. We went to check the rest of the place out, and it looked like kindergartners had dressed up an old dirty shack for Halloween. How embarrassing.
Amanda Atlas: Was a regular here for five years before the owner, Chuck Foster, banned me because I called him out on his neglect for his dog.Don't support this man by patronizing his bar.
Wendi: Classic corner bar & patio with a year round Halloween twist. Great staff, well priced drinks, & pizza if you're needing to soak up some booze. Super comfy.
Jennifer Jost: The atmosphere and the decorations are amazing
Me: They have free pool on Sundays and Tuesdays.

Hair of the Dog: what do users think?
Matt Hancock: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Maurice Ward: Went there to visit my first time going. Bad experience. I put 30 dollars worth of money in the music machine to only hear heavy metal all night long. Like someone was controlling the music and didnt want any hiphop or rnb to play.
Cody Cummings: This our neighborhood bar. It’s an excellent place to pop in to watch the Blues and grab a beer. Their selection is great, and their bartenders are great. There’s always a friendly face at the bar, and new comers are welcome. We stopped in after we move down the street, and we fell in love with the place. If you hang out on the weekends, you can grab a hot dog from the street vendor after 9pm.
Nikita Smith: They are racist. I came in before 3am and they refused to serve me. It was last call at 2:50. I walked in at 2:45. There was no rational for the bartender or waitresses as to why they would not serve me, other than “you are black and you need to go”. I’ve been here before, right before 3am and had no issue until today. Will never go back again.
Laan Reeves: Great affordable drinks
Antoinette Reis: Great music
Graham Jaensch: Incredible beer selection with good bartender and only bar in the area with darts and other games. Can't believe there were not more people here.
Stephen Ott: Great beer selection on tap along with a great selection of sours. Their new chef, George Santos crafted the best damn cheese pizza ever.
Alyssa Burlison: I absolutely love this bar! I stop here every time I go to STL. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 #40VegasBombs
Rich Gasperlin: fun time
Zhane Edwards: Had amazing drinks. Shot darts. It was a vibe.
joshua stell: The Foosball and shuffleboard are fun
Jayson Slobodzian: Great bar. LOTS of beer on tap.
Kelly Bernards: First time here on Saturday night with a couple of friends, the bartender Danielle was drunk as she said hi and took our orders. Drinks came out without mixers that had been asked for and when I closed my tab there was an extra charge on there for a drink we had not ordered or received. I tried to inform her of this mistake but she was too drunk to understand and so the tab was not corrected. It was very busy here so it must normally be a good experience but it didn’t leave a good first impression on us. Wouldn’t recommend going here and we won’t be back.
Blake R J: Classy, yet unrefined.
Danielle Crumer: I love this place for an after hour spot but the employees seem to be rasicts. Other than the fake service was ok and drinks are always good. I love there throwback games here
Jim Johnson: Great bar.
Kevin Powell: Great Dive Bar! Great beer selection!
Shan: bad service & does notDidn’t realize they would actually put dog hair in the drinks
Mark Christian: Pretty good sports bar. Wish they had food

Parlor: what do users think?
Matt Spencer: 5 stars if you like ski ball. A little flat in the rest. Cool spot but not really a proper arcade.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
bronwyn miller: I used to love this place, and they had several good cocktails and a couple really cool bartenders. Me and my best friend always started our nights out here with a few games of skeeball and the best lemon drops I've ever had from our favorite bartender, but the last few times I've been there I've been disappointed. The drink menu is less good, the quality of them has gone downhill, and the atmosphere is less pleasant. The patio is really nice though!
Tammy caffery: Alot of fun!!
Kenny Loehr: Nice little spot
A M: Not a wide selection of games, and they didn't take cards to get quarters. You have to use their janky ATM then they can break bills. Went on a Sunday it was DEAD, drink was watered down and game are a dollar a play or 2$ for 3 plays. Up down is only a quarter and had way more machines, better drinks and it was 10x more lively
Riya Krishnan: Nice place to go during weekends. They have so many arcade games, all of them were different and fun. Coin vending machine is available in the games section. Drinks were also good. Staff were also quick and efficient. Just ask for the volume before you confirm your order, some drinks are too much more than you expect.
Matt M: Can someone please tell me where the taco guy went? Please
chris casey: It was a madhouse
Stephen Wilke: Very loud, considering what it is. It has a club atmosphere, all the way down to the ridiculous 85 inch TV menu. But it ... isn't a club? It's an arcade bar. This weird vibe is the only reason I knock off a star. Also, don't order the cocktails, these are plastic cup college dorm cocktails. Nothing against the bartenders, but they should just serve beer and seltzers. The vibe... it's just weird.
Elizabeth Loudon: First time in. Nice beers. Got cider and mango cart on draft. It's obviously for my generation bc I like all the music. Very cool bartender. Not crowded. Favorite pinball is on the far end mandelorian.
Adam Vatterott: I love the staff here and I'm excited they have been able to revitalize their bar menu! I tried one of their new cocktails and it was actually kind of amazing. However I haven't been coming in very often over the last couple years because the pinball will have issues going unfixed for a long time. The stranger things and the mandalorian tables have both frozen on me again (like the screen froze and game becomes unresponsive). Mandalorian eventually unfroze, but stranger things will just hard reboot the entire game. The Jurassic Park machine T-Rex ramp shot stopped working, and since it's the ramp in the middle it's kind of disappointing to hit it and then nothing happens! The raptor shot also was not working last time I came in.I really really love the staff here and I love the atmosphere I just hope the owner learns to love their machines too.
Joshua O'Hara: First time.. Cool vibe. The patio was awesome, and the art work on the inside, was really cool. I'll be back.
Kyle Crider: Cool arcade spot with fun games and good beers. Bring quarters!!!
Dan Story: Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Great staff
Yang Zhang: Mid
Brewski: Gamer bar!
Evan Mutic: Extremely rude staff. We absolutely won’t be coming back. There are better bars.
Drake Shafer: Pretentious, dirty, and creepy. My friends and I came here for drinks this week and had such a terrible experience.First, the drink: We got a drink to share, but unfortunately there was a huge bug floating at the top but were refused a refund. In the picture you can clearly see a bug- they said it was just a part of the lime. Then, the service: Apart from getting bad service on the drink, one of the workers was very creepy and being too clingy to our group, not leaving us alone.Never coming here again. There’s so many other better bars on this street, so I don’t even know why I tried this place. Do yourself a favor and scratch this off your list.
Justin Reiling: Extremely rude door staff began our interaction with rudeness, then kicked us out into 17 degree weather.
Will Abernathy: Bad
Seth Scarborough: Best Old Fashioned I've ever had. They know how to make a drink and they also have plenty of beer options as well arcade games inside and food. Pool table, ski ball and more. Also had some good music (club volume) that could satisfy your club needs too. Amazing experience.

Bastille: what do users think?
Christina Ladd: Great staff. Bartenders are not rude there REAL. So if you need a hug or a friend try a different bar. These guys keep it real and are funny (If you have a sense of humor)
Tiffany Marshall: Stop by here with some friends because they had a pool table but the bar smelled like urine. The bathroom were nice and didn't smell bad at all but the main bar area was so bad we left.
Jonathan McAllister: Bob, the owner is the most amazing and inspiring person I have ever met.
D W: Came here on a night where McGurks was way too packed and uncomfortable. It was about a 5 minute walk down the street so we didn't have to repark our cars. And it was the BEST decision. Drinks were decent, vibe and the entire atmosphere was super eclectic. My friend and I even got to enjoy the pool table in the back all to ourselves. It was definitely the best choice.
Roberto Bolognese: I keep trying this place, but the staff is frequently rude, and the clientele is really hit or miss. Some pretty unpleasant folks call this home...
Cabhan Wilde: Needed to kill some time and ended up here on a late late Sunday night last hour before close. Just me two other guys and the bartender in there, still felt like a nice spot. I’m not a liquor person and the bartender still managed to make a shot I didn’t hate the taste of. Friendly folks. I liked the decor too. Likely be back whenever I’m back up in St Louis.
Rich M: Neighborhood Bar ... Great Traditional Old Bar with a fun funky vibe !
Samuel Williams: A couple of their staff members are rude asf… other than that the place is cool.
J W: Great place for great drinks and laughs a lot like cheers everyone knows your name
Patricia Boehm: Very rude bartenders for absolutely no reason.
John Miller: Extremely rude staff. Bartenders have almost no customer service skills. I’ve tried this place out a couple times thinking it was a one time thing or a bad night- nope, just rude for no reason. Love other things about the place but won’t come back for this reason alone of feeling unwelcome and sneered at just for waiting patiently for a drink.
Jay Allen: Good service, friendly people, GREAT prices on alcohol. Didn't try the food.Folks are extremely forward here and a bit persistent, so if that's not your jam you've been warned.
Timothy Burch: Great staff and patrons are such sweet diverse people that enjoy the company of others in a smaller charming venue.
Brian Heggman: Drinking bar. Make no mistake. Get to the top of your game here. Aces.
Christina Lusicic: Great place to grab a drink & loved the atmosphere.
Brett Reid: Wicker is awesome!
James Eldridge: Great place went for my first time last night and had a great time
Cristian D'amour: Un bar muy divertido con una decoración unica y los barmans muy amables
Dale Wohler: Most of the staff is very friendly outgoing Ashley quite funny and entertaining. They do serve the best drinks in Soulard however it's dirty very dusty kind of has a stank throughout. There is a couple issues it's cookie caddy two-faced and we won't even start on the owner that's a book in itself go for the drinks get drunk get out and go somewhere fun
C M: Rude staff
Jeff M: Best Monday night shows

stu fass: Best bar in the grove
Cammy Jay: Kinda boring
Ernesto Doural Jr: This place is great. There are tons of drink options. The food is great, and I really dig the patio. This place is fun.
beyondprofanity: A trendy hip place; perfect for late night relaxation or dancing.
Emmarose Neibert: We went for drinks on a Thursday and ended up playing trivia - fantastic prices on drinks, food was also well-priced and GREAT, staff was friendly, very nice vibe
Arun Allamsetty: The best thing is that the place is open later than most places in STL. Good drinks and has a nice patio area open till 1 am. Kitchen closed much earlier than it's supposed to. Bad DJ kinda killed the mood.
Carlos R. Leiva: Good drinks and lots of fun
Wasifuddin Mahmood: Good vibes, and drinks but MOST importantly great music 💯
Daniel Arndt: This place has a decent beer selection, cool atmosphere and Great pizza!
Thomas Kutis: It's a great bar. I love dancing there. Simple as that.
Trina “Crystal”: Great place for karaoke 🎤😁
Ashley Lawson: Wonderful atmosphere, everyone is so very nice and respectful. If you are not sure on what to decide on, the staff is very good with helping choose the beverage that is to the flavors you like. Can't wait to go back again
A Schul: Best bar in the Grove. Quite possibly the City.
Joshua O'Hara: Always a good time
Marc Foote: Nice place to chill with friends
bronwyn miller: I love the patio here, and usually there's quite a few people, which is sometimes difficult to find in St. Louis. It's a nice atmosphere for the most part, but the DJ's are very hit or miss. I've gone there when they did an amazing job and I've been there when the music was so bad I left. I definitely still stop in on nights out fairly often. The cocktails are really awful though, and some of the worst liquor I've had. You're probably safer sticking to beer.
Ryan V: Cool neighborhood spot. Lots of beer on tap. Friendly, hip bartenders
