Form Skybar: what do users think?
Terry & Corinne: A beautiful location for a reception.
Ryan Franks: We visited the bar after a wedding. The bar wasnt too busy and the bartender was super friendly. We ordered pizza to the bar and he came and sat with us. I highly recommend.
Randy Watkins: Only open Friday and Saturday from 6-1am if there is not a private event
Steve Karwath: This place was welcoming with a gorgeous view! Staff was on point, shout out to Ray our bartender!! He was incredible!! Thank you. Hope to be back soon.
Lynette Wilson: Nice place. We had a ball just didn't like having to go to next floor for rest room.
Samira Ak0k0: wedding crashers...my first time here and we walked into a private event...niice view, maybe nexttime
dill rox: Strange little place. I walked in and my eardrums almost ruptured from a super loud live band. The people were formally dressed and there was a food serving table, so I assume there was a private party going on. The employees were zipping around and never said a word to us. Left after a few minutes of getting those "who are you" stares.
Taste_of_exploration: It was a nice experience of St.Louis downtown view from the rooftop. This rooftop is not the tallest one in the city, but it has a nice view, drinks and the relaxing atmoshpere.
Ben Arntson: The space is well appointed and has nice views. Huge floor to ceiling picture windows line the exterior and allow for said groovy views. The staff was amazing. Jenny and Claire are very skilled mixologists, but in a solid traditional fashion. They are friendly and engaging but do not forget the fact you came for libations, so they keep the drinks pure and not pretentious and contrived with this herb or that sleight of hand. Their custom drink recipes delighted myself and other patrons, one gentleman when cajoled into trying his wife's chocolate martini called it tremendous and complimented the lack or over sweet flavor. Claire is witty and skilled in her craft, each beverage I asked for she elevated and took the time to discuss specific options to dial my drinks in. Both ladies handled the large and somewhat obnoxious wedding crowd that appeared and began barking demands with grace and aplomb. If your desire is intelligent banter with excellent quality beverages then look no further.
Cherise McKnight: Beautiful serene atmosphere. Love it there
Holly Koehler: This was my first time here. It was very cool. We went here after a Cardinals game and rooftop 360 was packed and I heard someone mention it. It's in a nice hotel that has a cool rooftop pool. The skybar is an open air room with great views of the city. Not too busy so people could socially distance. I really enjoyed this place and recommend this classy bar.
Brian Scroggins: The food was great! I got the Ribeye. One of the best steaks I've had. The vegie burger was not the best, and the pasta special was o.k. Buffalo dip and cheese sticks were good. Also the Mac and cheese was great and veggies were good. Green beans could use some help.
Brian Scharpenberg: Great drinks and staff with a view of the city
Linda Smith: We crashed your wedding party here it was so fun
Brandi Tucker: Allyson is incredible! She made me a drink with blood orange juice and if you can get her to make it for you, I'd 100% recommend it!
Darren Armstrong: Unbelievably outstanding
Frankie Bellucci: Excellent view. Staff was friendly, not very attentive but surely friendly.
Joshua Lambert: Great drinks and Service
Marit Ivory: Great views of the city. There was no drink menu but bartenders were very helpful and knowledgeable. Not all staff had their masks on properly.
Rindy Fisk: Beautiful
Gabster: The watermelon mojito was nice.

The Last Hotel: what do users think?
Mary Avalon: The hotel is really cool and the beds are incredibly comfortable although for some reason they had two flat sheets and no fitted sheet. The air conditioning is so loud that it wakes you up at night rattling. I'm traveling with a bunch of other military people and it was the same for everyone else, not just my room. While I understand it was out of their control, there was an emergency fire alarm because somebody decided to smoke in their room. This happened at 1:030 in the morning. I ended up oversleeping and I asked the manager if he would please comp me a breakfast because I missed the breakfast at my event sleeping through my alarm after finally falling back asleep. All together I understand that he's under no obligation but it would have been nice to not go through the first part of my day hungry.
Steve Raimondi: I had a reservation for Saturday night. They sent me txts earlier in the day confirming my stay. I arrived around 5:00 and they told me my reservation was canceled due to a pricing glitch. No notification, no willingness to help, the only option they gave was to rebook it for a significantly higher price. The woman up front was not helpful at all. She said I should have been notified earlier in the day. I showed her the only communication I had was them confirming my reservation. I even responded to them confirming it. She just said nothing she could do.
Jamie Toby: Beautiful unique industrial decor! The restaurant was great the steak and potatoes was one of the best I've ever had with the gorgonza butter! Loved our date nite experience here!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Brandon Ratliff: I booked the room on Monday for the upcoming Saturday on their website everything was fine until the day of I receive the email saying that they computer gave me the wrong price and they cancelled my room 30 minutes before I was supposed to be there to check in everything went through on the computer I received the email time to come check in they left a number to call I called plenty of times the voicemail is full like no one's never checked it I would never recommend this to nobody my job always do business there and I definitely will be letting them know to find somewhere else
Catherine Im: The staff here were amazing I every interaction I had with them. The rooms were unfortunately very dusty and likely only given a cursory clean. I was missing all toiletries (including hand soap!) and found shimmery makeup on the sink. My nose was instantly stuffy when in the room, and the tops of the green curtains were almost gray from dust. in addition, I think the ceiling was crumbling onto the bed. On the bed, directly underneath some black spots on the ceiling, were black particles. The final negative is that they only provide a stool for the desk.Otherwise, the room was spacious and had a great view from the tall windows, and the bed was very comfortable.
Peter Capano: Wonderful staff, the rooftop pool, and the pub in the fabulous lobby add up to a great experience at The Last HotelRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Norma Arnold: Beautiful hotel, fabulous amenities, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Washington street is packed full of restaurants and bars. Not to mention the city museum is around the corner so there is a lot within walking distance. The only downside is parking. It’s a city atmosphere so it comes with city parking challenges. You can vallet park for $50/day or use the public parking in an open lot across the street for $30. They obviously don’t tell you this before you book so it’s something extra to consider. With that said, I’d stay here again anytime and If you’re in the STL area and need a quality place to stay, give this hotel a try.
Poe Castillo: Very cool place. Valet parking was nice. Wish there was more to do and see around the hotel. Short 10 minute walk to Busch Stadium. The rooms were very comfortable. Unfortunately our TV didn't work, but no big deal!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Justin Wisniewski: Overall the experience was good. I had did have one bad experience where the guy at the front desk gave people the room that I was staying in and they just keyed their way right into my room. He was quick to apologize but it was still awkward. The pool was the defining feature of this hotel ! Definitely worth a visit.Rooms: Rooms had a nice style, with a cozy feel.
James Ziglinski: Dirty room. Hair and dust everywhere, fingerprints on tv, scuffs and brown streaks on all walls. Had a dirty towel with a brown stain and someones hair folded up among the clean towels. No robes as shown in pictures.Rooftop bar was closed and atmosphere was absolutely dead.Housekeeping entered our room without being requested while were gone. The next day housekeeping barged into the room again without being requested or even knocking. We were showering and getting dressed. Totally unacceptable.Pretty sketchy part of town. I was approached and asked for money every time we walked down the block. I saw someone checking car doors right in front of the building. Saw a fight at the bus stop around the corner at 2 in the afternoon. That's not the businesses fault, but worth noting. Not a safe place to be.We left as fast as we could for an actual 4 star hotel, this place is a 3 on a good day. I would not go back, even if it was free.In hindsight, the name of the place tells all. This is the last hotel you should stay at in the Lou.
michelle rindal: First of all, I just want to say, I do not seek any kind of compensation by leaving this review. This is 10000% honest, and I am leaving it here as a warning for other people traveling to STL. I will say, I think the place is a cute idea, and was excited to stay here. The execution if it, though, needs some work. I would be leaving 1star, but the front desk staff overall seemed quite nice. if it wasnt for that, I would absolutely be saying 1 Star. There were some serious issues here:1. "The last rooftop" was not as expected or promised. The bar is still closed for the season even though the website says otherwise. The pool itself and the whole rooftop is quite dirty. We spent all of 5 minutes there before we left because of how dirty it was.2. Another example of things not being expected as promised- no bathrobes or minibar in the room. When I found this hotel, I had a filter that included those with parking included. This does NOT include parking. It's valet and it's $40/night or you can take your chances with street and other public parking.3. Cleanliness. Our room was actually pretty dirty. There were carpet stains, towels with hair and makeup on them still, the comforter had stains, grimy surfaces, and I had to wipe my feet anytime I walked across the carpet because there would be hair and other stuff stuck on my feet.4.Housekeeping. there is no way to opt-out of housekeeping. There's no 'do not disturb signs' or anything, so we had thought it would be service by request, as many hotels do. Well, BOTH days the housekeepers came in. The 1st, we were gone and they refreshed towels and nothing else and it made us uncomfortable to know someone was in there. The second was at 10am on the morning of checkout (checkout is at 11). The housekeeper DIDNT KNOCK. Literally just barged in while we were getting ready (showering, getting dressed).5. The last thing is that this really isn't a 4-star hotel. It's a cool concept. But, it's super expensive for the lack of things they actually deliver. Even the toiletries (shampoo and soap) are super low quality. I know that part is the least important, but it adds to all of it- this whole place is badly managed and just a money grab. it has no business being a 4-star.Rooms: The rooms look nice from the pictures, but they were not clean and did not have bathrobes or a minibar.Nearby activities: It is right in downtown, which is great, except the downtown vibe has gone downhill. It is very close to city museum so that's nice.Safety: This was not a safe location. There was sketchy behavior right outside that we dealt with every time we left the hotel. The non-valet parking is very unsecured as well.Walkability: You can definitely walk around to downtown, but it can be risky to do so.
Eve: Ive had two maids walk in on me naked! Even with the privacy thing on door! There is no parking you literally have to pay parking every two hours on the meters unless you find a parking blocks away, It is a beautiful hotel though
Jon Scott: The hotel is so cool. It used to be a shoe factory. Old hardwood, exposed beams. Very nice... City museum is right behind it. Great for the kids.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Stephanie Spencer: Orlando & Marvin went above and beyond during our stay and were the ultimate professionals, welcoming & helpful at all times. The food at La Cucina is simply amazing! Had the fried cauliflower, goat cheese & gooey cake. Hat's off to Chef Montrell Jones! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Louis.Room is very nicely appointed with modern upgrades while retaining the charm & architecture of the original building.
Tim McGrail: This hotel advertises themselves as 4 stars but the current experience is more similar to a 2 star hotel. This hotel needs help. The owner seems combative in the reviews so if they respond to me, know that I cannot respond back on this system. Everything I am saying is my honest review after staying there for 5 nights.-Valet is unavailable 11pm-7am DAILY-Even when valet is available, unlike other 4 star hotels I stay at where there are MULTIPLE valets outside ready to help, nobody was outside at all, and it seemed 1 valet was stuck with full responsibilities-Online room service was broken and giving me an error. I called the restaurant downstairs twice. No answer. And their voicemail was full so obviously this has been an issue for a while lol.-After the above I called the front desk who said they'd have someone call me back to take my order. Nobody ever called back. I had to eat elsewhere.-The fridge in the room does not stay cold enough to properly keep your foods-Room was dirty on arrival and obviously not professionally cleaned. I did have the maids clean my room once halfway through my stay and that time the room was MUCH cleaner.-Obviously short staffed in ALL ASPECTS of the hotelThis hotel has potential and I hope that the owner takes these comments seriously. I'm simply being honest. I want you to get better. You can fix the above issues. No excuses. Just progress.
Rachel Peterson: The Last Hotel is great! Beautiful rooms, nice service and a decent location. I would highly recommend if you're staying in downtown STL. It's much better than the generic chains in STL and I've stayed at a few.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Vin De Set: what do users think?
Eric Farson: Fantastic experience. The food and service here are some of the best in St. Louis. Period. Everyone was friendly - the host, waitress, and manager. I have never experienced this before at any restaurant in St. Louis. They really went above and beyond. I got the seabass and it was amazing. The patio is fantastic and also one of the best in St. Louis. I will be back once they reopen!
Eyreka Peterson: Edited 9/19/2022 to add that it is not shocking that this placed caught fire. Like I said below, major systemic issues.I wasn't going to write a review, but the service I received on a Friday evening (8/26/22) was so bizarre I've been thinking about it all weekend. I called the Thursday prior to inquire about reservations for 3:00 p.m. drinks and dinner. I was assured that it would be so slow at 3 that reservations would not be needed. I arrived at 3 p.m. with a party of 4 and no one was in the lobby or bar area so we waited around. A woman came through the door from outside on a mission and stopped in her tracks and asked "do you need something". Not rude, but certainly not kind. We explained we were there for drinks and dinner and she let us know there was no waitstaff to help us yet. Cool, I've worked food service before, I know how it goes right at opening. We asked if we could start with drinks and apps and were directed with a curt finger that it was outside. The bartender asks if we're going to order drinks and food, we say yes and order. We start towards the tables in the dining area and the bartender tells us we should sit in the bar area so she can bring out our apps. I let her know I need to sit at a low top table and there are none in the bar area. We proceed to sit at the table closest to the bar in the dining area. We are only there for a few minutes before she comes over to tell us that the table is reserved. There are zero people in the dining area. It's 3:20 p.m. I let her know that we're planning on ordering dinner and that I can't sit in a high top table. She assures us she has something over in her section. She seats us at a cheap cabana couch, directly in the sun (it's 98 degrees out) out on the deck. It has a tiny table that our drinks and apps barely fit on. We are boiling. We finish our apps and drinks and decided not to stay for dinner (because how even at that table). As we're leaving there are 2 tables seated in the dining area. No reason for us to have been moved. The drinks were great, the food that we had was delicious, the service was the absolute strangest thing I've ever come across. I'm willing to make excuses for 1 person having a tough afternoon and providing subpar service - it happens. When it's multiple people and multiple instances - that's systemic.
Brittany Griffith: Many thanks to Mike and the manager for making our day. The service was good and prompt. See you again soon :)
Malcomn Roach: Still a good place for Sunday brunch. Prime rib is awesome
beautybyraelynn: The women at reception was insanely rude to my group. I felt like I was dreaming… she ruined our evening from the moment we walked in. I never write reviews but I couldn’t help myself.
Ryan Daigle: Always a delicious meal. We've been going here for about 12 years and they always impress!
D M: Absolutely perfect brunch. Danita was our wait staff person today and she was wonderful!
Salvatore Scotto: Nice place, good dinner, staff friendly.
Issa Lifestyle 1: There was mouse droppings on the table. No one working there even attempted to cleaned it up. Horrible first impression. The hostess working Sunday 8/28 around 10:15am did not greet us when we arrived, she said something to a server then continued to eat her bacon. I said "hello" and she replied, "Can I help you?". Immediately I felt the quality of the experience sink to fast food level. I let her know we were there for brunch she asked "Do you have a reservation?" "No we do not." She shoveled the last of her bacon into her mouth, grabbed 2 menus with her hands she just put in her mouth and walked away. We reluctantly followed hoping to recover the ambience of the experience but at this point we are already not feeling welcome. We were guided through a small bar area and sat near a window in the back of the room. Immediately we noticed the droppings on the table, but the hostess had already gone back to the host stand. We never even sat down. I walked back to the host stand to bring the issue to the bacon eating hostess' attention to which she said 'it isn't feces or else we would be shut down'. I advised her that was exactly why I came to tell her instead of taking a picture. Her reply was "Go ahead take a picture cause it's not that." I replied,"OK I will." The person I was with had to ask for a different table, it was not offered to us by the hostess. She said 'the only other space I have is this or that', pointing toward a table in the corner by the door of the room we had just left. We walked over to the table ourselves. As I noticed she was not going to formally seat us, so I took it upon myself to retrieve the menus we left at the poop table and of course to take the photos of the mouse droppings on the table and in the window seal as suggested by the hostess (see attached). It took us about 10 minutes to find a different place to go for brunch; the entire time no one attempted to investigate or clean up the mess we reported. As we left the manager tried to speak to us but it was too late. I couldn't leave that place fast enough. People deserve to have a choice what environment their food is in especially during pandemic times. Definitely looks like rat sh't!!! I will not return.
Michael Wallace: Weather made it perfect. Their rooftop experience is top notch. And their servers are attentive
Jim Williamson: Rooftop bar with a view of the arch
Grant Young: Just stepped out of Vin De Set and couldn’t have been more displeased. We showed up at open, after being advised to do so on a Friday as it will get busy. So we showed up and got ignored until we told the hostess we’d like to have a drink and apps. After being pointed to the bar, through the window, we headed over. One party doesn’t deal well with high top chairs, so we headed to a 4 too under shade after being told “I won’t be able to give you service but that’s okay, I’ll till serve you”So we sat in the shade and maybe 3 minutes later we’re told the entire area was reserved and we had to sit in the sunniest area of the roof top. Had we not ordered, we would have left. This was the oddest and most uncomfortable experience I’ve had in any restaurant, not just in St Louis. If you want bad service, rude staff, and to be lied to, accompanied with honestly good food and cocktails - this is your spot.
Suzie Scrivner: This is my second time here. The food is great! Courtney our server and Bryson the bartender were wonderful. The woman at the hostess stand made me feel like I was intruding. She even came to me and my table at the end of the night to let me know that they were closing at 10. I did not see her tell any of the other patrons that they were closing. I will not come back to this place. We spent over $500 and felt like we were being kicked out early. There were four of us. We asked who she was and were told her name was Sharee. We still had full drinks and desserts. Please put a smile on your face when you are greeting customers. Don’t make them feel like they are not welcome.
Beverly: What happened? Last year we had a lovely birthday dinner with wonderful food; the set menu was fabulous, and the staff were incredibly attentive. This year it was just… bad. The baked brie with strawberry-basil marmalade would have benefited from a more generous serving of the marmalade, but that was forgivable. The coq au vin was absolutely flavorless and dry—confusing given that the dish is literally cooked in red wine. Interestingly, it was served on the same dish shape as the steak even though there was liquid on the dish (still somehow flavorless). The veggies were reminiscent of those served in an elementary school cafeteria. The strip steak was overdone, and the best that I can say about it is that it can be used in leftovers. (Un)happy birthday!
Janeth Hernandez: We had the steak and frites very disappointing. The steak was so fatty and tasted like burnt rubber. Drinks were bland and below average. Prices are far too high for the quality of food. We’ve even been here twice because we really wanted to like it since it is walking distance from our house. Never leave reviews but felt like I should.
Steve McCormick: I feel like it is overpriced. $33.00 / person for a 3 course brunch. They used to have a brunch buffer that was worth 33.00. The service was excellent.
Coleen Hill: Excellent staff, food and rooftop view! One of my very favorite St Louis restaurants. We have not had a bad meal yet. Also wonderful desserts!
cufta05: We dropped in based on a Google search on restaurant with a terrace. Also, we thought it would be possible to order a coffee because of the French restaurant. Unfortunately, our thinking was wrong. The quality of the coffee was terrible. The service was bad. The employees together with the manager did not seem to know where to put us. We wandered around to find an area for "coffee drinkers". The manager who was on duty did not care when we told her that the coffee was terrible. Overall C-Coffee 1.5/10Service 5.5/10
Cheryl Andrews: Great food and service
Mark Leibu: Probably better for dinner. Sunday brunch, so and vs so
Eric W Thompson: Good view outside on the roof. Fine food with attentive service. Prime rib was awesome.

Angad Arts Hotel: what do users think?
Stephanie Renz: Arts district. Very avante gard. Staff very helpful and willing to help. PS lobby is on the 12th floor. All rooms are King.Nearby activities: Right in the middle of the Art district. Fox Theater right across the street. Several restaurants and SLU right in the area
Kloe Duncan: Only giving five stars so this can be at the top. My group was super excited to go to the rooftop bar and the bartender, Courtney was so rude to my group. We ordered a charcuterie board, and a couple drinks. 40 minutes later no charcuterie board, and no drinks. We hadn’t been checked on once. Finally after an hour were asked how everything is going and we mentioned the board. She says the kitchen was now closed but it was clear that she forget to put our order in. Im and understanding person but this was just horrible service all around. This was not because she was busy as she stood behind the bar laughing and talking with a customer there the entire time.
Wendy McKim: The rooms were very nice! We got a suite so it was really big and spacious! The hotel is very neat and it's a very cool concept! We got the green room. I like all the artwork around the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms were pretty dirty! The shower floor had a little blue spots of mildew all over it. The mirrors and surfaces were just cloudy and dirty! We had asked room service for some mosh racks because we were only given one. We were in our room with the do not disturb sign on our door and we were working up by the maid coming into our bedroom! All in all, it was a good experience and the hotel is really close to some good things! The neighborhood is good too!
Dave Erickson: Weird room layout. Tiny bathroom eclipsed by huge dining area with big table with seating for 6. Several large kitchen cupboards and drawers all completely empty. Generally lacking in amenities, no washcloths, no vending machines. no bar soap, no ice on our floor, and no blanket on the bed. Restaurant and rooftop bar very overpriced. $25 each for simple breakfast. $12 for a half glass of domestic wine. Elevator floors were sticky from spilled liquids. Garbage bags sat in hallway all day. Location is very good to downtown attractions. Management should forget about art and concentrate on hospitality.Walkability: Walking distance to Fox Theater, Circus Flora, and area restaurants.
D E: This was probably the coolest, most interesting hotel we have EVER stayed at! The concept of choosing the color of the room is very fun and interesting. The decor of the rooms, hallways, lobby and public spaces is very cool and trendy! Room was not huge, but certainly large enough, super cute, clean and perfect! Comfortable bed, Nicely updated, beautiful bathroom as well! Our room also had a great view of the arch! We went to the rooftop bar with some local family and it was a great spot to hang out and the drinks were fantastic! Also felt very SAFE, gated parking, separate guest elevators that required your room key to operate. Will definitely stay here again. We were going to the symphony at Powell hall and it was right next door!
Sara Line Frisk: Centered amidst the vibrant arts 🎭 district of St. Louis, and proximal to the SLU campus + FOX, the Angad Arts Hotel offers a safe, artsy, and entertaining visitor experience to passerby’s and city goers alike.Upon arrival, one must head to the 12th floor to check-in, and while there are small signs, it is a bit confusing which can make one feel a little put off and could benefit by larger signage. Though, there is plenty of art surrounding the entry way and the lobby, so it feels like it balances out. The receptionist service was fair and not as welcoming, but we made our way to our room - the blue room - with ease. The rooms: Each room has a unique color to match ones feeling - and we choose blue for freedom and peace. Candidly, the aesthetic feels a bit dated, left over from the late 2010s Instagramable rooms trend, however it is, nonetheless unique. As for positives, the view out to the city is impressive with large windows, the room is spacious, and complimentary coffee. Though the hotel is newer, renovated in 2018, the furniture and walls were showing their age, plastic and bright paint gets scuffed easily, clearly. Carpets were fraying a little. The TV and bathroom mirror were not polished, some streak marks left behind. Additionally the sliding bathroom door did not close. No USB outlets (just plug in) by the bed.All of these things are not anything to complain too much about but, the supremely negative quality was the dust. The night stand, lamp, and mini bar were coated in a layer of dust enough to run one’s finger through it which is a bit off putting. Notably, there IS an air vent above so it could be that it accumulates…however there is such a thing as air duct cleaning. The excuse at the front desk was the hotel was a renovation of an older building, and that they have received multiple complaints, however, clearly they have yet to remedy the issue. (We have stayed in numerous other renovated hotels…so it seems a poor excuse). The rooftop bar: This is worthy of a visit even if you are not staying here. The views of the sunset 🌅 are incredible, the bar staff are knowledgeable and very friendly, and the vibes are amazing. Even the bites are delicious.Overall, the hotel was an enjoyable stay but the dated and dusty rooms were not as pleasant. No valet but gated parking ($17).
Lee Cooke: Spent way too much on this room for what we got. We spent 3 nights in a blue room on the eleventh floor- the first two nights were alright (though the attached restaurant closed an hour early without saying anything on their door or website and accepted our reservation, only to turn us away at the host stand). The hotel is definitely form over function: the art is nice, but they're egregiously understaffed. The towels and linens are very cheap and our duvet had a hole in it from wear. They're clean, despite a few stains. The kicker was our last night- since the lobby and lounge are on the 12th floor and we were put in an 11th floor room, someone booked a party from 8 PM to midnight directly above us. We could hear every dance move, bass thump, and even song lyrics that whole time. Called the front desk and they brought us the most useless earplugs and shrugged, because the party had paid too. It was so loud, we could tell when the cha-cha slide started! No offer to change rooms, no money off ("because the manager isn't in today" when we checked out), just the offer of a breakfast coupon, when we already had reservations elsewhere and needed to drive 5 hours home.Overall, very cool Instagram photo and not much else. Angad needs to put some work into guest experience, not just aesthetic (which gets quickly undercut the second you take a closer look and notice the dust and stains and broken zen garden rake). Not at all worth the money to stay the night- spend $15 on a watered down cocktail at Art Bar and walk through the lobby, and you'll get all this hotel has to offer.

Cheryl Bell: Rooms: We loved our stay at Angad Arts Hotel. Very nice rooms and very quiet.Food & drinks: The breakfasts were fantastic. Lots of choices. The waiter was exceptional.Noteworthy details: Love the art distributed throughout the hotel.
genevieve d: We absolutely loved the Angad Rainbow Terrace! The 360 view was breathtaking! The staff was welcoming and courteous with us all!
Robin Hoback: Rooms: Nice roomsNearby activities: Close to fox theaterWalkability: Walkable to many restaurantsFood & drinks: Bar on top floor with food. Colse to many restaurants
Greg Crueger: Rooms: The theme of paintingsA, everything in the room one color is a cool artsy concept, but the colors are way too bright. my room was all one color -red. I would want it to be something more calm like a pale blue - not primary colors. That’s really the only thing that I definitely did not like about the hotel.
Nico B: I stayed here for a night because I went to the Fox to see Wicked. The hotel has easy and convenient parking and it was a 2 min walk to the Fox, which made it nice. The room was clean, but I do feel like it needed a deep clean to really impress me. I loved the color idea for the different rooms. I did not have shampoo in my room only liquid soap in the shower and at the sink. I felt like they could have had a different type of soap for the shower (i.e., body wash) and actual shampoo. Overall would recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful because the building at first is a bit of a maze. I had a good experience there and it was well priced!!

Jr: If I could give this place a negative -5 stars I would. I had a confirmed reservation at the Angad Arts hotel in St Louis Missouri April 29th and was coming to St louis for an event from ohio. I spoke with Amber who is the manager of the establishment and she advised to me in advance that I could pay cash for the room due to the room charge being more than the credit limit on my credit card and she said I was able to use my credit card for any incidental charges. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel for months up until my arrival, I was immediately stopped in the hallway by an employee as I was looking for the front desk so I can check in. I told the gentleman I had a reservation for April 29th. He immediately told me that there's notes in the system to not accept cash and to do card only for the full transaction of the cost of the hotel. I was confused about his response as I've already confirmed my reservation and situation with Amber a few times she advised to me that she would be able to honor the request to accept cash for the room and to pay the incidental charges on my credit card and to ask for her upon my arrival. The guy kept repeating the same thing advising there's nothing he can do and that his hands are tied. I requested for him to call Amber because this was not what i was told so he calls someone which could have been anyone and he said that she said the same thing that's listed in the notes. I requested to speak with her myself and he refused and kept repeating himself saying that his hands are tied and that the notes say can't accept cash with a weird smile on his face. The man was not helpful and he gave off a weird vibe that felt discriminatory. This was a huge disappointment as I've been lied to and traveled a far distance looking forward to staying at the hotel. The hotel was unprofessional and also has a history of guaranteeing requests to customers and upon arrival not honoring their word. This was the worst experience I have ever experienced from any hotel in my entire life not only that but later came across a video on tiktok from another guest that stayed at the Angad arts hotel and in the video she showed a book that's included in the rooms from the hotel that showed weird pictures of naked children. Overall the hotel gave me a dark eery vibe and the location doesn't seem the best as the area appeared ghetto where people may feel uncomfortable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid!!!!

Travelingbelugas Cris y Stephy: Buen hotel para ir de ruta por los Estados Unidos.

Christina Johnson: I booked an event with this company venue and was very dissatisfied with the service they had to offer. I set together an entire menu service with appetizers and buffet for wellmy family and friends coming to celebrate my baby shower with me. I was so excited about the view and the place and the menu that provided me. The venue to rent was $750 and the tota amount for food was $2600 for 45 guest . I had high hopes the food was going to be great but my guest and I was blown back from what we were served. The appetizers were cold and clammy. (Meatballs, crab cakes, chicken sliders etc). When the Italian buffet came out that’s when everything started to go down hill. I was trying my hardest to stay happy and positive because my Fiancé ended up proposing in the middle of the event. The total for the entire venue was over 4 grand and even after running out of food, food being cold and servers not tending to us we still ended up paying over 3 grand for the event which was ridiculous to me because the room rental was only $750. Me and my friends and family still had to go out to eat after the occasion. It was a very special day to remember for me and I’ll always remember their service.

Ronnie B: The hotel location is great but the cars in the parking lot get broken into often. Additionally, if you are looking for a place that includes breakfast this isn't it. There is a restaurant on location but if you need to leave early the hours aren't the best.Walkability: Many options to walk to including a park.Food & drinks: Great restaurants along the street

Veronica “Ronnie” Valentin Astacio: Overall, my husband and I had a decent experience staying at the Moonrise Hotel. While there were a few drawbacks, such as stains on the bedding and bathroom walls, the lack of hand soap, and stiff towels, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The vintage space age memorabilia was cute, a bit kitschy but nicely themed. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, which provided a relaxing atmosphere and great views of the skyline and St. Louis arch. However, we were disappointed to find that one of the two elevators was out of order and that using the stairs to reach the rooftop was not an option. We also found it confusing to navigate the parking situation, as we were instructed to park in a specific lot labeled "valet parking" even if we weren't paying for valet service. Finding food after 7pm was a bit of a challenge, and the broken white noise machine didn't help with getting a good night's sleep. Despite these issues, we appreciated the hotel accommodating our request for a picture of Roxanne Wolf from FNAF in our room, which was a fun touch. In summary, the Moonrise Hotel is a decent option if you're attending an event at the Pageant next door, but it's not without its flaws. Paid $170 for one night stay in the king room with a jacuzzi.

Element St. Louis Midtown: what do users think?
Zach Bell: We stayed here for a show at the Fox theater, it was conveniently located, if you don't mind walking it's about a 15 minute walk. If you want an Uber it's about a 5 minute drive, but traffic was pretty bad, so I'd rather walk if it's nice. The staff was very nice, our room was nice, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was very good. We went to the UpBar restaurant/bar in the roof and that was OK. We just wanted some dinner before the show, but they didn't have an oven yet, so the food was very limited, but what they had was good.
Bensheng Liu: New hotel, spacious and updated room, free breakfast and an indoor pool. However, the location is not the best and the front desk lady recommended against walking around the hotel after dark.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Adrian Abrams: The hotel was excellent. The service was nice. The people was nice. The breakfast was great. The only thing I didn’t like about it was there valet. I had my vehicle parked at Friday night when I retrieved it Saturday afternoon or someone has stolen merchandise out of my vehicle, to where I had to get a police report and file a claim but other than that the hotel itself is a great place to go
Joslyn Richardson: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good however their needs to be an in shower platform to hold products. Also there was trash in my recycling bin when I checked in and a leftover plastic knife in the living room area. Very gross. In addition no one told me when I checked in that I had to call and schedule house cleaning. I'm not sure if that standard post COVID but it should have been relayed when I checked in. So my room did not get clean the entire time I was there and it came dirty. Breakfast was lacking. The egg whites scramble was good. It was hard to tell what actually was offered because everything was in different places. Perhaps putting everything together will help. My room on the sixth floor was right under the the club on the 7th floor. My room also face the street Forest Park parkway and highway 40. I asked for a room not facing the street when I made my reservation Because of the noise that previous reviewers talked about. I am an extremely light sleeper so I did not sleep well both either night at this hotel. The cars and trucks going across highway 40 woke me up several times. Also the walls in the hotel are very thin. When I got home the day I checked out, I slept through the entire night so I know that it was the hotel noise. In addition, either the pillows or too soft or the bed was too hard. I woke up in pain.

Jeff Hoschek: Noteworthy details: Our spring break trip to Florida was cancelled due to flights being cancelled so instead of driving back home, we stayed in St. Louis for the night. They accommodated a room for 5 of us. It was clean, Jay and Jessi at the front desk were very busy and seemed overwhelmed yet were very kind and friendly in getting us checked in. The continental breakfast sandwich s the best I think we have had, healthy, delicious and such a wide variety of things for the kids! Well done, we will be back
Heather Fox: Wonderful staff!!!! Rooms are immaculate and cozy!!!! Beautiful outdoor space with a huge fire pit!!!! Valet parking is beyond convenient!!!! Wesley Sigle: Pretty good, my family loved itRooms: Pretty nice rooms, people who clean the room cleans it but not really because we found underwear in the closet and it was not ours.Nearby activities: A lot of activities by it like the arch and the science center and stuff like that.Food & drinks: I only ate breakfast there but, there is a upbar on the 7th floor
Jessica Stucker: House keeping wasn’t great. I have a toddler, and we found a pill in floor. Called services and they didn’t offer to automatically do anything. Just apologized. Soap and shampoo in bathroom were all empty. At check in they did not tell us during the week they have a free beer/wine tasting in lobby with snacks. Found out when it was over when we went to the pool. This should be something went over during check in or at least a brochure in the room telling you these things. Only plus thing about hotel is it’s across the street from food hall and things to do. $25 a night parking also which is a little crazy.
Patricia Raynor: Very nice hotel. 4 stars because we were told we could get a late check out at 4 pm but was told otherwise by someone else. Disappointed with the misinformation. Also the shower didn’t have anywhere to put our products so you have to sit it on the floor which wasn’t very practical at all. It’s a nice clean place overall.
Amanda Berlin: Sadly… I only stayed one night. But what a terrific experience! The staff was incredibly helpful, valet was fantastic, and the lobby wine/beer/cheese was such a nice touch! The two ladies at the front desk (one with a lovely panther brooch) were kind, attentive and even gave me local food suggestions. I hope to be back to St Louis at some point
