Phillip Powelson: Transportation is the worst. School gets over at 3:45 and is past 5:00 and my child is not even here. I been calling the person in charge of transportation and the front office and nobody answers. They should at least be more professional and send out communication, Letting parents know what's is going on.

Ashley Robinson: I use to go hard for sllis. But they are starting to lack so many things. Diversity, academics and even the kids are not learning the target language as they should because they can't keep teachers. They are starting to combine multiple grades because of the decrease in enrollment. The kids can't be controlled half the time.. It is just failing all the way around. I'm glad I'm getting my baby out while she is still young and has time to catch up.
Sophia Foster: Myself and my children has had good experiences with this school when they first opened their doors back in 2011/2012. I have recommended this school to so many parents. My son has attended this school since KG, he's now in 7th grade and I must say it has really gone down. The straw that broke the camel's back was when my son unfortunately missed the bus leaving my mom to drop him off on her way to work. She has to be at work at 8am so she dropped him off at 7:20am - 7:30am. It was extremely cold outside 19° and the security guard refused to let my son in the warm building stating that the doors are not too be open until 8:15am. She then continued to watch my son through the clear front door of the school while she sat inside the heated building, until a teacher told the principal that a student had been sitting outside for sometime.This incident happened a couple months ago but the thought of my child going through that still makes me cringe and feels my heart with pain!!!

That means your kid could be on a hot/ cold bus for over 1 1/2 hours. By the way, the school doesn't care. Use to be a good school but now not so much.

YDSO YDSO: International Institute is a group of mostly women in charge of institute with no knowledge and capacity. They just pass their time in their job. It is a sisterhood you can imagine. Their services are terrible: their English program is without any standard textbooks, you can study for 2 years and still be in the same level: Totaly waste of time. They force refugees to get a cheap job, get the houses in the most dangerous areas of the city. waiting time and coordination for any other program is so long.I recommend these ladies to create a Monitoring and Evaluation Department to monitor the behaviour and performance of employees and customers' satisfaction. Most of your customers beleive you are rude, lazy and useless people.
Indran Fernando: Writing as a former employee, I don't have any reservations about giving the Institute a five star review. Nowhere is perfect, but it's remarkable how many Institute staff go above and beyond to provide excellent services, empower refugees and immigrants, and create a community space for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.In the St. Louis area, I think the Institute particularly stands out in regards to professionalism. To a great extent, I saw staff uphold a code of ethics so as to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, prevent conflicts of interest, and ensure that clients receive equal and uniform services. Countless times, I saw the Institute take the lead in this regard, setting a standard of professionalism for other organizations and volunteer groups to aspire to.

Heritage Properties: While we love the International Institute as key part of the South City Community, a few months ago we had a troubling experience with the treatment of our office staff by one of their employees. Efforts to bring it to the attention of superiors showed little to no interest in taking steps to work with the individual or otherwise address the situation. We certainly hope that this is an isolated incident as we love the work and mission of the International Institute.
GERALD MURIITHI: It's a wonderful place to learn more of the rich diversity of immigrants in United States. USA is a beautiful country with diversity in all dimensions, the welcome the Americans give to their Guests is awesome. Visit this place to learn more.
GRETCHKA MARTINEZ: Not only did they charge $50 for some really basic translation, but they are taking over 2 weeks to translate a school transcript that was originally in english and spanish, and to top it all off, they won't answer my calls or emails so I can let the school know what's going on.

John Green: The International Institute at Dizzy Miss Lizzies. A good deal, I think. I haven't had any dealings with the II in years, but Anna Croslin has dedicated her life to this cause and I can't imagine that things have gone awry. She was always extremely kind and competent as far as I could tell.I'm sorry that St. Elizabeth's folded; I'm sorry that Sears is gone, but the good that the II has done over the years is tremendous.

نايف الشمري: The manager has asked us to write nice sentences even if we disagreed. The school and the teachers were not good enough. They care only about your money but not your education.Please don’t believe these sentences that other students wrote because they told us to write nice sentences about them. Also, the city is so dangerous. For sure, I don’t recommend it.👎(Poor Quality and expensive $)
河瀬道太郎: I transferred from els Nashville, and stayed only one session but I had a good memories. People in this school are very kind. Other els school might need a car to get around but St. Louis has a metro, Amtrak, and greyhound, which is also a good thing.
Adriana Gomes: Teachers and administrators here are very kind and helpful.You even can use University's resourses such as gym and library once you get student ID card. All kinds of resources such as English books and computer lab can help you improve your English skills. You will form your own ideas and learn from other classmates. Classmates who come from all over the world are really friendly and easygoing. It was my first experience with English for foreigners and I enjoyed!
MEIMEI SONG: Teachers here are very kind and helpful. If you have any question you can let them know and they will instruct you to figure out questions with patience. Accommodation here is comfortable. You even can use University's rescourses such as gym and library once you get student ID card. All kinds of resources such as English books and computer lab can help you improve your English skills. You will form your own ideas and learn from other classmates through brainstorm. You will familiar to how to give presentation. You will know what good speaking and writing structures are. Classmates who come from all over the world are really friendly and easygoing. I made a lot of friends here. Various of activities which interesting and meaningful will lead you know more about America. A special activity is Contact American that you don't need to sit in the class on Friday and you will go to different places of U.S. and talk with native speakers. You should definitely choose here without any hesitation.
Satya Asundi: I had a test in the ELS Center in October 12th 2019.The whole center was freezing. Because of the security measures unfortunately I took off my jacket all the rooms were literally very cold and I couldn’t focus on the listening section of my IELTS exam because of the extreme cold temperature in the room. I felt like complaining but just came out from the examination hall. Apart from that staff and everyone are really good in treating

Perrin Marchionne: I took private Italian lessons with Global Village and was able to pass an Italian competency exam after 10 months. I had never studied Italian, and my teacher was extremely knowledgeable, patient and very responsible, always making sure I was comprehending and developing new vocabulary and grammar skills each week. I recommend Global Village!
Vinh Nguyen: I normally don't write reviews but I felt like I had to based on the service I received. I have never been been more satisfied with the service provided, ease of use, and customer service that I have received than at this location. Every time I have walked into the office I have been greeted with a smile. Language classes are easy to schedule and the interpreters/teachers they provide are incredibly skilled and personable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for interpretations, looking to learn a new language, or even wanting more practice/a refresher in a language they may be rusty on.
sea of roses: Sketchy place. I called around 5 pm no response. I decided to go since here it says they close at 10 pm,got there a bit past 6 and It was closed. No hours posted on the door, nothing. From the start I'm kinda hesitant to believe they actually teach 50 languages like their website claims,even less now that I can't see or get a hold of them....
Frank Ashall: Global Village Language School in St Louis, MO, is a fantastic place to learn any language. I myself took Spanish lessons there and was amazed and impressed at the quality and speed of learning. They use only teachers who speak fluently (usually natively) the languages that are being taught, and all are experienced with teaching. I am impressed, too, at the fact that the school can find quickly teachers for pretty much any language, no matter how obscure it might seem. If you are interested in learning a foreign language fluently or even simply for travelling, Global Village is the place for you- you will not be disappointed!
Zen Price: I am an UMSL student studying Japanese and after much consideration I chose Global Village's services to help supplement my class materials. I must say that I definitely don't regret it. I spent dozens of hours with the staff and I still valued every minute of personal attention I received. Very professional, punctual, and polite people. Highly recommended. Best in Saint Louis!

Trent Crull: Best deal for the amount of work the faculty, school infra- structure and core class selection their is in STL. I took 2 years of Chinese language at Truman State University in kirksville and this is a good comparison to the level of immersion. If you put the time and care into your studying you will do great things!TC
