Cody Cummings: Peacemakers is a great dinner spot right on the edge of Soulard and Benton park. They have incredible po’boys with some of the softest buns. Their breading they use for fried items has cornmeal so it has a coarser texture and brings more flavor to the finished product. Their house chips are a great addition to any sandwich, but adding fries is a good substitute. I highly suggest adding remoulade to the fries. The lobster rolls are their signature, and they’re market price so definitely ask because they tend to be in the $30’s. They have a great selection of spirits, especially if you’re a bourbon drinker.This is the perfect time of year to enjoy their patio, and it makes a fun relaxed casual date night.

John Miller: Walked in and stood at the door for 5 minutes. There were at least 2 people working there that saw us standing there and no one acknowledged us and no one came over. We left and had a great meal somewhere else.
Debra Aglaia: Arrived at opening time. The front staff was a little off-putting in that I was completely ignored by two women standing at the front desk and was only acknowledged by the seating hostess when she returned from seating other customers. At least one of the two women ignoring me could have told me that someone would be right with me. That being said, the food - mussels and fried green tomatoes - was tasty. But I wouldn't order either of them again. The mussels were cooked in some kind of tomato broth with chunks of what looked and tasted like pieces of ham hock - the flavor of which permeated the broth and overpowered the flavor of the mussels. The breading on the fried green tomatoes was very good, but the tomato itself was pickled (as stated on the menu so maybe my bad), and I found the pickling flavor overwhelming (I'm not a fan of vinegar). In all, an okay meal, especially for the price. The service by Jess, though, was very good and the restaurant interior was appealing.

Marvell Seals: The food is very tasty!!! The market prices for crab and Lobster must really high right now. My wife and I total order was two Connecticut style lobster rolls. She had two glasses of wine and our total came to $111.
Richard Hamilton: Let me start by saying the food was great. My wife and I split a lobster roll and a crawfish boil. Both were excellent and on par with any good seafood experience I've had in the past.But this place is not cheap. Being a fresh seafood spot in the Midwest, I expected high prices, but this seemed over the top for me and the portions didn't warrant the price in my opinion. I have no idea what the restaurant's costs are and therefore have no idea if this was markup or the genuine cost of fresh lobster in St. Louis. Regardless, too rich for my blood.TLDR - If you're an out of towner from a coastal location I would not eat here as the price where you're from is likely much more friendly. If you're a local and you have a craving for a lobster roll like I did, this is definitely the place to go.
Erin Coleman: We went for Mother's Day, had a noon reservation. We were sat quickly. Inside is very cute - love the decor, but chairs are super uncomfortable unless your behind is the size of a small child.When ordering, the waitress took my (the mom) order first and I wanted the lobster roll. She then goes to my husband, "just so you know, that is $37 right now", like she is asking his permission! I was absolutely blown away. It would have been fine if she had directed that information to myself, as it did say market price on the menu and I was the one ordering it, but to default to the male is completely out of line in this day and time.Food was blah - no salt or flavor. The best thing we had were the fried green tomatoes. Lobster bisque was under-seasoned, lobster roll needed salt or some other seasoning, hush puppies were just fried dough.Very expensive for what we got, would not go again unfortunately.

Amanda Tulin: Ordered online in advance, even called later and further clarified the order but was never made aware that the online menu is incorrect. They blamed the mistake on the web designer and were otherwise adversarial and augmentative. Said they would call back but never did.
Wolf Williams: Absolutely awful experience. All the food was cold or room temp. The food clearly didn’t get run to the table fast enough. The manager (or somebody) came back and told us that the food wasn’t actually cold despite our boiled corn and potatoes being ice cold.

Mechelle F: We went to celebrate my daughters birthday. She passed away in February. I emailed April and she immediately responded back and made the reservation for us. Staff was informed for the reasoning as to why we were coming and after we ate they brought out dessert on the house. Yesterday was such a hard day for me, but the staff here made it so much easier. The oysters were very well presented and had the nice little touches of discerning places like the lemon pouch and the small spoons for the mignonette. The lobster bisque was maybe our least favorite, a different spin on bisque than we are used to, good nevertheless, if not a tad bland. My cioppino was delicious so were the linguine & clams. Overall awesome experience.

I wanted creme brûlée but they only had a special flavor and I just wanted vanilla. I saw that 801 Chophouse across the street had it so we told the server we would just take the check and we were going to head across the street for dessert, no big deal. He told us to hold on one second and then he and the manager came back and said she was going to just run over there really quick and grab one, and they’d make it in their kitchen so we could just stay at our table. Deidra Williams: I first tried this place when it first opened and it was great. This second time around I was very disappointed. First of all wherever I eat the entire establishment should be well kept, including the bathrooms which were absolutely disgusting. In regards to the food there was just something very unfulfilling about it. I didn't finish my food. I didn't even eat a quarter of it because of the taste. Cyndie Roche: It was a little dirty. The waitress was amazing, but the host and seating process was a bit of a mess. We waited 30 minutes only to be told they never put us on the list and then needed us to scan a code to do it ourselves. We were seated right away when we scanned because they had about 30 tables open.

We were excited about the food since we were starving and the wait time and high prices had our hopes up for a good meal. We were in for an unpleasant surprise. First they didn’t have enough clean silverware so the server finally brought us a fork each by cleaning it himself( kudos to him for that!). The rolls were below average and you could tell they were just rushing to make them to meet demand. We had one of their most popular entrees as well which also was a 5/10 at best. My wife and I get Japanese in every city we visit. This was a great disappointment.Only plus is that they open late and that’s probably how they get business.

Cody Cummings: I dropped by Drunken Fish to grab some lunch with my wife while walking around the neighborhood, and it was pretty good. The presentation of the dishes was what you would expect from a sushi restaurant in the Central West End, and the prices follow suit. Not overly expensive, but some of the more basic rolls are a little pricey for what you get. That being said, I wouldn’t go to Drunken Fish for cheap sushi, I would go for nicer more unique rolls and dishes. The service was really nice, and the ambiance was casual but classy. I’ll be happy to come back by for dinner some time.

Upon requesting to sit at the bar, she confirmed with the bar, and promptly lead us upstairs to the bar.After wiping down the bar table, she sat us down. We were greeted warmly by the bartender. We ordered the sushi combo and contemplated on sake. The bartender gave us samples of sake, which were all delicious. We got combo C (crab legs & shrimp) and then added some extra shrimp, sausage and potatoes. It was a ton of food and we split it between 4 people, and we were stuffed. The hush puppies come with a sugar cinnamon butter, and it really adds to the sweet cornbread. It was good enough we got a second order. If you’re staying on Washington ave, definitely pay them a visit!

To make this worst they rolled a trash can next to our table and left it there I was appalled. The menu stated king crab was $55 it was actually $65. 2 legs!!! I asked for a manager and was told there is not one on duty only to ask someone else and it was the bartender Ada. She refused to comp the wine, didn't apologize for the unprofessional behavior, and claimed they had a reservation which was a lie. Oh tax was 18.00, automatic gratuity was added of 18.00 & bill was 205.00. Food was subpar.

I had the 1/2 snow crab with the combination option (Cajun + garlic butter).I did see another previous comment mention the music wasn't appropriate for kids and that was valid. However, the server mentioned the afternoon hours are more kid-friendly.

My immediate impression when I was looking at the menu was it might be a struggle to find something I really like...and in the end it was a struggle.The quality of the sashimi was decent, but you could see from the color of the yellowtail...it was an older cut of fish. The majority of their "signature" rolls were tempura-based, or had asparagus in them. It was hard finding any rolls with some real quality fish in them beyond tuna.One of my biggest disappointments at a sushi restaurant is when you order scallop nigiri or sashimi, and you end up with a crab salad with a sprinkling of scallops on top. The unagi I ordered was thin and a little soggy in texture.I was surprised by how many four and five star reviews this place received in the past. In the end, I don't think anyone left being pleased. It also didn't help that our waitress really didn't know anything about their menu...or sushi in general.

Personally, I really did not like the fried rice at all but others did. Didn't try any sushi but I know it was also well liked at our table. The appetizer of pot stickers were incredible as well.
