There was so much potential ruined by thinking the same rules don't apply to you 🙃 They struggle to find employees because the one place where they can supplement income without reaching into the account they pocket it instead. Their pay doesn't even compete with fast food despite expecting a higher standard of service

Mechelle F: We went to celebrate my daughters birthday. She passed away in February. I emailed April and she immediately responded back and made the reservation for us. Staff was informed for the reasoning as to why we were coming and after we ate they brought out dessert on the house. Yesterday was such a hard day for me, but the staff here made it so much easier. The food was great. The atmosphere was great and I loved the staff.

Christie Del Re: They made it extremely evident that they don’t care about people dining solo, as was made clear during the entirety of my visit. From the rude host trying to get me to eat at the bar when I made a reservation, to the tucked away corner table in the far back of the restaurant, to the server who shifted focus on larger tables. As someone who travels for work frequently and often dines alone, I expect the same level of service and attention that a larger party would. On top of that, the food came extremely quick, an indication that it is not made fresh, and very over-peppered to the point that it needed to be remade. I did not want the dish anymore, and the server pushed me to have them remake it so I could take it with me (in an attempt to ensure I would still pay for it), needless to say, I gave it to a homeless man after I left.For being one of the most popular Italian restaurants in St. Louis, and not super busy, I would have expected a better experience. Will not be returning, I will choose one of the many other Italian restaurants nearby.

Diane A: Yes the barbecue was good, but BBQ is usually good - even if dry you can always add sauce. Unfortunately for us the experience was disappointing. The sign outside said they were sold out of ribs and salmon. We’d never been here before and had to wait until it was almost our turn to order to see the menu (meat menu was hidden in the corner, not on the overhead chalkboards). Then they were also out of mac and cheese. We ordered a beer - yep, out of that too. Last but mot least, I got a skimpy portion of the brisket (someone behind me got twice as much so it’s not always skimpy).

Brandon Norris: I will start by saying they were out of ribs by the time we got there. But I hope that is their staple, because the rest of the food was very average. The only thing that was really great was the pecan pie. Brisket was dry. At least there is no shortage of sauces at the table. Overall I was unimpressed. I’ve had better bbq only 10 minutes from here. And I would make that 10 minute drive for it.

I've never gone to a BBQ joint where I had food leftover. Usually you get just enough or even maybe leave hungry depending on the place. Nooooo not here! Everything is SO good. The brisket and ribs are phenomenal. The ribs are fall off the bone-ish. They still require your teeth, but they rip right off. The flavor profiles are amazing for everything too. The pulled pork is moist and juicy. The ribs and brisket speak for themselves. The barbecue sauce selection is freaking amazing. All except the coffee one. Gag! The sides are great! Mustard potato salad, a different take on baked beans, and delicious au gratin potatoes. The rest of the sides look good too! The drink selection was nice as they had all your sodas and iced teas, as well as pina colada and hibiscus flavored waters. The only downfall was the bathrooms. They were in need of major attention. The customer service was good. I don't know if they were tired, but as first time visitors we were clearly lost on how to order and nobody said anything. Outside of that, I would 100% come back to this one or another location when in the area.

The brisket was so tender and the baked beans were delicious. I am from New England and my family and I tried another place earlier in the week and were very "underwhelmed" to say the least. Your food was fantastic and the man who delivered all the food was so nice!!! The choice of side sauces did not disappoint! Rylee Reich: One of the coolest and funkiest atmospheres I have seen. Their food service system was great, kind of like a buffet set up where you get a platter and tell them what you want. It was very colorful inside and the service was great, half a mile away from the gateway arch, within walking distance. The food was amazing especially with there many sauces tyey have at the table. Liam McLaughlin: Visited Stacked with my fiance recently and was fairly disappointed. After being seated I noticed bits of food still on our table that had not been cleaned. We also noticed drip and splash stains on the wall besides the table. Its not a very big location so I'm surprised and how dirty the place seemed.The service was lackluster, the bartender was also our waiter even though we weren't seated at the bar. Took a while to get drink orders in and had to flag down the waitress when I needed a refill.When the food arrived my burger was definitely on the dry side. I had the WetNap 2.0 and was let down, although my fiance ordered the Mexican style burger with guacamole (don't recall the name) and it was pretty good.I'll give it 2 stars because the overall experience was mediocre, and after seeing a 4.7 on Google I was expecting so much more. Maybe people rate it more highly because you can build your own burger and people enjoy the customization? Far from the best burger in the city and the location was cramped and dirty. Jayden Phillips: I started with a diet lucky fountain soda and a side ceasar, which had nice flavor, but was a bit over dressed. Fresh croutons were tasty. I did the Create your own Burger. They have a pad of paper order forms and pencils at each table. I ordered my burger medium well, and it was a tad overdone on both mine and my partners burgers, but the meat was so fresh that it still tasted great. Regular Fries and sweet potato fries were well cooked and seasoned appropriately. Service was a bit slow to greet us but everyone was friendly and it is a nice environment. There is street parking. Inside is clean and there was no wait time for seating when we arrived around 1230pm. It just took a couple minutes for them to notice we came in. We saw another party waiting to be greeted in the same fashion as we left. We will return and recommend. Jim Thacker: I refuse to believe that people frequent this place on a regular basis. This place is the most over priced, over rated restaurant that I have ever been in. The ambiance was horrible, just a dilapidated old building. I had the braised beef with glazed carrots and potato puree. The braised beef was okay, the carrots consisted of about 1/2 of one carrot diced at different angles. The potato purée is nothing more than watered down mashed potatoes and there might have been two tablespoons of it. The salad that I had was the worst I think I ever had. The desert, the floating island was nothing more than a dollop of whipped cream on a little crème brûlée sauce with some shaved almonds... not even a scoop of ice cream. I’ve had better dinners at Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans. I've eaten at many high end restaurants but I've never been so disappointed. I’ve paid high end prices but was never disappointed like this place. I have no idea how they got so many good reviews. $127.00 for the wife and I with the tip. She had a half chicken. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Norma Arnold: I had held out on trying this place because I’m not a big bread fan and calzones are a lot of bread. I will say I was pleasantly surprised. The bread portion is soft and billowy and is delicious by itself dipped in some sauce. I tried the Duke and it did not disappoint. The ratio of filling to bread was good, meaning it didn’t eat dry. Great place and I will definitely be back.
