Mary Hooker: I literally love this school,my son Jacob learned so much here,before he started at this school August 2016 he was not very social, he only wanted me,my husband,his sister and his grandparents, however that didn't last long ,he loves to play with all the kids and socialize with people at his school,we did teach him about the stranger thing as well,overall I am happy that my son is happy to be apart of Southside early childhood, this school has helped my family through a lot in the last year and 4 months,I have been helped with a financial coach,still getting help,doing really well,plus the classes/meetings we adults get to attend and their really nice,mind full of words too has helped me help connect more with my children, beyond this,I recommend this school to everyone, you will love it here!😀

Kathleen Blackorby: My daughter is almost 3 and has been going to Cornerstone since she was 8 weeks old. My husband and I are not from St. Louis and I was very nervous and selective about who we chose to leave our daughter with. I am so grateful we found Cornerstone! Every single teacher we have had was/is outstanding and they truly care for my daughter. They have a number of employees, mostly teachers that have been there for 10 and 20+ years and I think that says a lot about the organization. This is the best daycare around and I recommend them to everyone I know!!!
Mike kerckhoff: We send our son here and we our proud to be apart of the cornerstone family. He has made strides since he has been here. They are not like other daycares they don’t just watch the kids the teach them and it starts in the infant room. We can’t say enough about them. They treat you like family and truly care about your child, it starts from the top down. Classroom are super clean. The playground is huge and safe. There is enough teachers in each room they even have floating teacher to give breaks. It also is well diversed. All in all if you are looking for a place to send your child I would look no further this is the only place I will send my children.
Ashley Brown-Joiner: I would recommend to anybody looking for a great learning center for they child. They have such friendly staff & they genuinely love the kids. They make sure your child is learning to the best of they ability & if they are not help them to get there in any way possible. My son currently goes there (he's 3) & he loves it just as much as I do!
Francesca Ingino: Amazing daycare!! My daughter is 2 1/2 and been going there since 6 weeks old and absolutely loves it, the teachers and staff and so do I. They know us by name, greet us everyday and take such great care of my Princess. I highly recommend this center for your child.

Tim Malecek: A warning for prospective families: $100 waitlist fee and a long waitlist!This is one of the few early childhood centers that charged a waitlist fee. I inquired about the length of the waitlist via email and explained our family's timeline. The response was vague and simply suggested that I "get on the waitlist as soon as possible."As soon as I paid the fee, I got a confirmation email indicating that my child was 50th (!) in the waitlist. When I called, the woman on the phone basically told me I shouldn't plan on getting a spot given my position. As far as I can tell, the only thing that had changed in the week between correspondences was that they had my $100 nonrefundable fee in their pocket.The childhood center could be great - I have many friends who recommend it - but I feel like they pulled a bait and switch. Save your $100 until you get a firm answer on waitlist length and don't be a fool like me.

Claudia Qian Chen: My child attended for part-time program，they told me I only pay for the day my child attends. however, during COVID19 it changed, I was charged tuition for services that I could not utilize from March to June 2020. As a part time baby, so my child also go to another preschool part time, and she really reluctant to goto cecc every morning but so happy to go to the other one😂
Joanna Das: I disagree with some of the critical reviews. Daycares in general were put in a very tough position during COVID and risked closing altogether forever if they simply stopped charging tuition for months. As soon as CECC got a PPP loan they dropped tuition down to 10% and simultaneously managed to keep everyone’s jobs. I value that commitment to their staff. Yes, now we are getting fewer hours of care for the same tuition, but that’s because of the extra hours needed for cleaning and to maintain proper health and safety protocols. As of this review (June 2020), no school district in St. Louis, nor any private k-12 school that I know of, has figured out a good way to reopen and when they do they are talking about things like half days. At least cecc is staying open 8 hours a day. Overall I think they have done a good job in an extremely difficult situation.
alexis mckee: Our oldest child attended for 4 years; however, during COVID19 it became rapidly apparent that communication, innovation and flexibility are completely lacking from this place. We were charged tuition for services that we could not utilize. We were provided infrequent and uninformative updates. The Board of Directors never addressed us.My advice to parents, especially those who still have professional jobs, is to find childcare that is willing to work with you and be supportive. This IS NOT the place.

Steve Schaper: Our daughter has been enrolled for about 6 weeks now and we are grateful for UCCC. Ms. Melissa is incredibly intentional about implementing our preferences for instruction and development. Her room is consistently calm yet interactive, friendly but still structured. We are always greeted with smiles from staff and families. We also love the diversity! Great place with great people.
