Practicing Yoga Studio: what do users think?
Michel Pasman: Practicing Yoga Studio made me feel welcome from the start and since then it has become a home far away from home. I love "Yoga Flow" on Tuesday's, powerful flow for body and mind! Erin is a great teacher who not only inspires with her poses, but also by sharing interesting quotes while reflecting on yoga and the current times. Highly recommended!
Jessica Boston: It has long been recommended to me to take classes here. I’m in my second trimester of my first pregnancy and, knowing how good yoga is for baby, labor and recovery, I started taking Saturday morning Slow Flow with Cindy. It’s the perfect pace for me as I adjust my movements around a growing belly but I still feel stronger and more flexible at the end of class. Cindy is an amazing instructor- she provided modifications for me, was encouraging, warm and energetic (but not to the point of being exhausting- if you’ve worked out to any Jillian Michaels videos, you know what I mean!). The space itself was bright with natural light, super clean and had a very “community” feel to it. Highly recommend to anyone, whether just starting yoga or a seasoned yogi.
Stephanie Herndon: Practicing Yoga: Come for the amazing yoga training, stay for the big heart! This place is more than a yoga studio; you will walk in and feel at home and welcome in this warm space. The instructors here are the best in St. Louis, and they are dedicated to each student having a positive experience in their yoga practice, whether it's your first time (they are especially wonderful for newbies!) or if you already have a strong yoga practice.Classes are challenging but filled with fun and play. This is a place you can come and just be exactly where you are.
Heather King: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityBrianna is an amazing teacher! Never disappointed in a class here.
Katie O'Donnell: The best yoga studio in St. Louis! Wonderful teachers and such a supportive environment. Plus, having an online option is awesome during quarantine...feels just like you are there!
Sheila Nadworny: Great Teachers! Wonderful Community! This is just a really really GOOD Yoga studio!!
Dorota O: The place to be. In good, in bad moments & anything between... ♥ PY!
Emily Heart: Joyous, supportive, safe space. Love to practice and grow here!
Clayton LeBeau: They love yoga. And they love you. Makes it a blissful experience

Yoga Source St. Louis: what do users think?
Emma Korlin: Such an amazing relaxing experience. Amanda is a great teacher!
Shelley Kohlman: Relaxed and welcoming space! Not intimidating to new yogis. Great variety of classes and events.
Beth Jones: I love beyond the basics with Rose! I always feel a greater connection to myself where my body and spirit connect with determination and strength. I'm grateful to make it to my mat and perhaps more so that I'm able to make it off the mat afterwards!
Claire Meyer: Such a FANTASTIC studio! I got the $45 new student monthly rate while home over Christmas. The studio is incredibly inclusive and I continually found great classes there with many different instructors. Could not recommend more highly!
Sherry Browning: I've been taking classes for over a year--studio well run, space comfortable, staff welcoming, instruction excellent.
The Hubbards: My sons and I thought we would try something new and decided to explore Yoga as a way to restore our bodies as well as reduce stress and anxiety. I reached out via email to ask some questions and Annie was very responsive and helpful! We ended up going to Gali's session on Monday and it was one of the best experiences my sons and I have shared! Gali was an awesome teacher; she was patient, receptive and welcoming! We will be back for sure!
Dana champion: I google yoga studio near me and this studio came up. I always check reviews first on almost everything/where I go. Great reviews and I have to say I agree. Everyone was friendly and the teacher was sweet. I have not done yoga in a while and I was a little nerves but I did well and love the class. I will return when I am in town.
brian hughes: Roxannes class was amazing
Xochitl Castel: I came in for the first time to attend the Deep Release: Gentle Yoga & Gong class. Ann Mae (I think was the instructor's name... sorry!) was an amazing instructor! I loved the sound tools she used. The level of relaxation was like I've never experienced before, it was deep. They provided all the tools, shoes are left by the door, lockers available, door is locked during class which added a sense of peace. Great space, great energy, good parking. Highly recommend!
Christina Pisani: Very friendly and loving. First class was amazing!!
Amanda Langhorst: I just finished a morning yoga class with Roxanne and it was everything I had been missing in my practice. She offered so much time for choice which felt amazing and helped me to feel accepted within the group. I highly recommend coming to her class. Your body will thank you!
Julie Herbert: I love Blue Sky Yoga. The studio is pleasant and comfortable. Parking is convenient . More importantly, Bryna, does a great job of challenging while also giving options to accommodate individual needs.
Debbie Coghlan: Blue Sky Yoga is my favorite yoga studio. Love all the instructors and variety of classes!
Mary Lou Walsh: I have been attending Blue Sky Yoga for several years. I love my virtual chair yoga classes with Bryna every Monday. She is the best! Annie has always been supportive of my membership in her studio. She really cares about my practice. Due to distance the virtual offering allows me to continue my yoga weekly. This is a real blessing! Namaste!
Brittney Shawnee': Maury and Casey are wonderful instructors! Good vibes all around and good body knowledge.
Nancy Murphy: I love this yoga studio! The physical space is warm and inviting. Additionally, they offer a great variety of classes. All of the classes are appropriate for all levels, offering many options. The teachers and fellow yogis are very welcoming and supportive!
david payne: Edit: The owner reached out to me over the phone, and I am very glad they did. We had a great conversation about the misunderstanding, and I feel like they listened to me. This is what I wanted: to be heard. We got to connect a bit, and it's due to this personal touch that I am glad to continue taking classes here. They even recommended other classes they offer that can potentially help with muscular issues I described. So, I am changing my rating to reflect the whole experience. Thank you.----original----I came to this studio because I was referred by a friend. The class is challenging, akin to physical therapy, which is what I want. The reason I am giving only three stars is due to how the owner chooses to schedule new student memberships. So, new students, be aware or you will lose days of your first month.New student memberships begin immediately once purchased, not upon scheduling the first class. This was neither explained nor made clear on the website. I scheduled my first class for March 1st, expecting the month to begin then. I discovered today on the 29th this is not the case, and the owner has assigned a reconciliation to my account. This is a policy focused solely on collecting dollars, not building a student base. That is not the type of business I wish to support, and I am reconsidering whether I will renew my membership. I invite the owner to respond to my comments, and if this is indeed how they run their business I will take my dollars elsewhere.
Olivia Kosta: Finally!! As a person with anxiety and a racing mind, I simply started thinking yoga was not for me. I've tried it over the years here and there, in different cities, and locally but still couldn't relate to the amazing benefits I'd been hearing about for years. All that has changed. After going regularly to Blue Sky (about 4 days a week for two months) something just clicked. I trimmed down, toned up, started seeing definition in my muscles, and my ènergy increased. The best bonus part is that I'm able to relax, and calm my mind! Being fully present during practice, and carrying that over throughout the day is such a blessing. Blue Sky is à warm inviting place, with amazing instructors and a great mixture of classes and times throughout the week. I enjoy the individual styles that each instructor brings, and feel lifted when I leave. Shout out to Annie and Casey who are just two of the amazing instructors. So....THANK YOU Blue Sky Yoga!!! 💙 This has been and will continue to be an amazing journey/ experience. I'm hooked and great full!! 🙂🤗🌞🙏
Brittany Smith: One of my favorite studios! The space is roomy and cozy. Each class I take has a unique spin and skilled teacher! This is my go to yoga studio hands down
Casey: Amazing community studio! 💙
La Familia Sin Fronteras: Beautiful atmosphere.

Shanti Yoga: what do users think?
Elle Paralogian: Owner worked with me to get me in. So far just what I’ve been needing! Love that there are morning flow classes!
Ryan W: I have been a member at Shanti Yoga for over 4 years. It is an excellent studio with a wonderful and consistent cadre of instructors and a broad range of different classes and workshops.
Molly Waters: Fantastic classes
Ann Marie Garrison: Shanti Yoga is a truly phenomenal and healing yoga studio. The studio offers a variety of classes from power vinyasa to yin and restore. They make classes accessible and approachable for students of all ages. The instructor's make an effort to get to know you, and ask what areas you want to work on in class. I practiced at few other yoga studios in the past, but this is the first one that felt like home. If you are interested in trying yoga, or looking to return to the practice I highly recommend checking out this studio!
Alice Kinsella: Love Shanti Yoga! Great space and great teachers!!!!
Rachael Karadja: Shanti is the best. It’s a welcoming, accessible community.
Emily Karcher: Shanti is WONDERFUL. The community is warm and welcoming, and the studio is cozy and always clean. I’ve really appreciated their careful approach to practice through the pandemic. Aside from the restorative or beginner classes, I appreciate that many class offerings are more challenging than other yoga studios I’ve tried around STL. But they strike a great balance - all are welcome and the teachers do a great job of including everyone and making sure modifications are offered for all skill levels. Highly recommend!
Shannon Dalton: Warm welcoming environment. Every instructor is super knowledgeable. I have an old ACL tear and fracture that causes instability. All the instructors have been amazing in helping me find alternative posses or modifications to possess. I was super nervous starting back into yoga but quickly felt part of the community. I love the wide variety of classes and times of classes offered. The stretch and restore is my all time favorite. I find this class super helpful in learning the different breathing techniques.
Chris Beavin: Shanti yoga is a wonderful community space that offers classes rooted in yogic philosophy. The teachers are highly skilled and there are a wide variety of classes to choose from daily. In my opinion, it is the very best studio in St Louis!
Brittany Radford: Had such an amazing experience!
Vicki Ash: This is a great community studio. Their teachers and commitments at Shanti feel real and genuine. I have found my yoga home! Thank you Shanti❤️
Beth Alseth: Shanti Yoga is more than a yoga studio- it’s a community! The owner and instructors nourish my mind, body, spirit! They provide a wide range of classes with excellent guidance. I love the meditations and sound baths during the combined yoga and meditation classes. The instructors encourage us to make our practice our own and choose asanas that serve our individual needs. The alignment cues are clear and helpful. I appreciate kindness and compassion!
John Banjak: Shanti Yoga is such a warm, inviting place, owned & managed by a very caring (and detailed) person in Katie Kelly. A more "traditional yoga feel", the class offerings are strong, the yoga room comfortable, and the overall experience fantastic! Highly recommend giving it try, as beginner or experienced yogi! :-)
Hanna Wyland: Shanti is a fabulous studio. Each instructor is welcoming, friendly, and guides in an accessible way. I love that there are no mirrors, it's a cozy, welcoming, and all around good vibe place!I appreciate that Shanti makes steps to de-center whiteness in yoga, honoring the practices roots and doing so an authentic, approachable way. (Music is appropriate for a yoga class, there is instruction that encourages you to take agency and do what's accessible in your body).highly recommend it- check out Shanti! ♥️
Gretchen Schiltz Brenner: I have so enjoyed my classes at Shanti Yoga! I’ve particularly enjoyed the Wednesday morning Hatha Flow class with Carey. It’s just a lovely practice, and Carey is fantastic about supporting modifications and/or people’s different paces. One thing I’ve loved about Shanti in particular is that everyone is warm and welcoming. I’ve been to other yoga studios and classes where hardly anyone smiles or makes eye contact. Just being acknowledged as a fellow classmate makes a huge difference to me!
Macy Child: Very nice and calming atmosphere. Good diversity in teaching styles and class intensity. So glad to have found a good spot to keep going to.
Lexi Marek Beeler: I love Shanti Yoga! Immediately I felt welcomed and at home. Each class offers a different focus to my yoga practice and I look forward to going each time. Definitely recommend!
charmaine Smith: In a charming and intimate studio space, Shanti Yoga offers a respite and an opportunity to connect with my body and breath in a supportive, respectful way. The instructors are kind guides who lead us through 60 minutes of practice. I am grateful.
Sophie Jacobs: I’ve felt very welcomed ever since my first class. I also appreciate the emphasis on showing up as you are, welcoming modifications. It’s a great way to start my day.
Anna Schwind: Shanti is a warm and lovely studio with lots of class options and a real sense of community.
Savannah Larimore: Great local yoga studio. I've done classes at both locations and in the park during the summer and it's always been a positive experience. Would definitely recommend this studio, especially the Stretch & Restore classes which are great way to unwind and relax.

Pure Hot Yoga St. Louis: what do users think?
Sherna Nichols (She'): Good for the mind, body and soul
mary works: I have always loved this place - hot, organized, clean, wonderful instructors and staff. I try to take class whenever I visit a new town and other studios rarely live up to Pure Hot Yoga. It's the gold standard. It's under new ownership now and it's STILL the best. How awesome is that?!
Casey Selby: I move a lot and have probably been to 50+ studios. I have had the BEST experience at pure hot yoga stl. They remembered my name after my 1st class! Very welcoming and the energy is great.
Joao Hernández: First time trying hot yoga!! Instructors are nice and comprehensive and you can go at your own pace! Amazing people and amazing place!!!
Hyun Soo Suh: I came back to hot yoga after some years of break, and it was my best decision this year! The instructors are great, encouraging and friendly, and I love the classes.
Hilda Hildebrand: Love this studio, the energy and the people.5 star rating for sure!
Alexandra Hildreth: Friendly and consistent - if you are new to hot yoga, this is the classroom environment for you! Erin is very welcoming and approachable - what a great team!
Beth Huebner: I love PHY! I have been taking yoga classes here for almost 15 years. Although the heat can be intimidating at first, the instructors are so kind. As someone with arthritis, the heat helps me move better (particularly in the winter). The community is welcoming, and I love the addition of new classes like flow. There is something for everyone.
Lisa Roth: Pure Hot Yoga is the best yoga studio. They also have inferno Pilates which I love. The yoga and Pilates are very challenging but they keep me feeling awesome. It’s the best for physical, mental, and emotional health. The teachers are amazing and so helpful and encouraging. I feel I’m part of a welcoming community. Having zoom and on demand archived classes means I can practice at home which kept me sane and healthy during the pandemic. The studio practices safely with cleanliness.
Jackie Braznell: YOUR BACK & JOINTS WILL LOVE YOU! THIS PLACE WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!PHY STL is so welcoming that once you walk through the door you will be so happy you did! The studio is made up of people from all ages, shapes and experience levels. Each instructor brings their own personal style and knowledge to class so you feel like you are always learning something new to grow in your practice. The studio offers a variety of classes daily to focus on your yoga practice or get you out of your comfort zone with a high energy warm pilates class!
Ted Smith: Can't say enough good things about this place. The instructors and staff are all wonderful, and everyone is friendly including the students. Studio and bathrooms are always thoroughly clean. The intensity of these classes will challenge you for sure, and it's so worth it!
Rebecca Melander: WHAT A GREAT FEELING! I came to class in a frazzled huff. My mind wasn't ready. My body didn't feel ready. But when I entered the hot room, that outer layer of doubt melted away. Hilary led us through the series and I found my body cooperating and then leveling up to my mood, which was improving with each droplet of sweat, each millimeter of flexibility. I've been a member for over 12 years and still, each class I take offers me something new. This yoga is one of the most satisfying experiences for me and I would say to anyone who might be on the fence about coming to class: COME TO CLASS! You will feel better than you imagined once it's done and you'll come back for more. Thank you PHYSTL!
Stephane Rebeck: OMG this place. Even when it's hard, it's awesome. Such an amazing community. Great vibe, really supportive, and the instructors are so knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and fun. Anytime I leave town, this--yes THIS--is what I miss most. Once you start, you'll never want to skip a day.
Lindsey Moore: I have come back to this studio during many different season and I always feel welcomed, supported, and energized during my experiences. I appreciate the ways they support me to take care of my physical health, while remembering how important my mental and emotional health is as well. It truly is a place for me to sweat out life stresses, practice de-escalating my nervous system, and come back to the center of myself. thank you to all the team members at Pure Hot Yoga!
dog training: It's a great practice just wish this wasn't the only studio. They run it like, they know it is the only bikram place closest to the city. The guy instructors are cool and most of the other instructors. One bad apple particularly is the woman with the sides shaved off of her head. I come to decompress and she went spastic in class over me leaving my spot to get tissue. She was in the back of the class and I was less than 10ft from the tissue. She's crazy about you wearing a watch too! Other instances but, not to bad. Shaved head is the most condescending passive aggressive so unnecessary. I definitely made that incident my last. I was jacked for the rest of the month. I lost money because it's a "no instructor might be wrong policy". I understand the rules because, I went on south grand to bikram for years with no incidents. I miss them! For $100 plus a month and a bad relation. I'd rather be fat and stiff and invest my money elsewhere until another bikram open in the city limits.
Haley Henderson-Pennington: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThis studio has entirely changed my life and mindset in the last 9 months of practice. I never thought I would be able to withstand the heat, but it has helped me work through so many injuries. I also really appreciate their text services with reminders about classes you have signed up for! It helps keep me accountable to my practice.
Brooke Inman: Absolutely love Pure Hot Yoga STL! Every single one of the instructors is knowledgeable, welcoming, challenging (in the best way) and professional. They each add their own personality to the classes and I love them all. They all learn your name from the very start and that just adds to the warm and welcome feel of the studio. This place has quickly become a favorite spot of mine. Also an important mention is that it is very clean. Thanks Erin and Carol for creating such a high quality hot yoga studio/environment.
Rebecca Bickel: Positive:QualityI adore this studio and all of the people there! Everyone is so kind and makes you feel comfortable no matter your experience level. I was a total novice when I started, but I never felt bad about that- instead I felt encouraged and celebrated!
Ashley Lumpkin: I’ve been attending classes for the past few weeks and it’s been my favorite yoga studio. I’ve attended other hot yoga studios, and have found the classes distracting with music and frills. Pure Hot sticks to the more traditional bikram method which I like!As a contrast to the more still and regimented yoga class, they also have the IHP Pilates class which has music and is a lot of fun. It includes high intensity interval training and is an amazing a full body workout. I love attending both classes.
Spenser R: I had been looking for somewhere to get back to practice and this place has welcomed me with open arms! I love coming in each day and all the instructors are knowledgeable and helpful with everything that I have asked them about practicing yoga and Pilates. I’ll be a member for a long time to come!
Pete Willenborg: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI love Pure Hot Yoga! It truly has changed my life. The staff has been absolutely amazing during this trying time. For the last 11 months, I’ve attended several classes and I’ve never seen an employee or member not follow safe protocols. It has been a safe haven for stresses of everyday life.
