Maggie Taylor Berkowitz: Central studio offers a beautiful space for my Pilates practice and the equipment is fantastic. Even better than the aesthetics is the expert level teaching I have received from Laura Dunlop. Her knowledge of anatomy and Pilates work together to create a meaningful session that strengthens my weaknesses and leaves me feeling amazing when I walk out the door. Highly recommend!!

I discovered Central Studio over 5 years ago when I started a Pilates training/certification program. Throughout my training and beyond I felt supported, encouraged and mentored. I recommend Central to everyone from those who would like to start pilates or those who have been doing for years! Although I’m not involved in the children and adult dance programs, I like to watch the yearly production. I also can’t leave out the Collective Motion professional dance company. They visit schools and teach through the children’s books that Mary Ellen has written. One last thing, if you need a Thai massage, there are several massage therapists you will love!

The owner, Mary Ellen Bryant, really listens to the needs of students, and I am delighted with the care they exhibit to each person who attends a class. We are always asked "how are your bodies feeling today" and the instructors do a great job of gearing the class towards the level of the attendees. Central Studio quickly adjusted to providing Zoom classes during the pandemic, helping us keep in shape by offering alternative ways to keep moving.

They provide modifications for students who have limitations or who are protecting areas (back, shoulders, neck, etc.) Classes are welcoming and not crowded. Women 55+ could benefit greatly in terms of balance, flexibility and strength. Students don't have to have prior Pilates experience to get started.

She has always helped me and my wife keep elevating our fitness but this latest is more about life saving. She works with all levels of people... from weight loss to recovery from an injury and is as engaged with us today as she was more than 5 years ago.2 years ago almost to the day I signed my wife and I up for a private Duet session of Pilates. My wife had been doing Pilates for awhile and thought I'd love it. I thought if I did I might lose my man card. I did it and I do love it. I'm sure there are a lot of pretencious studios out there, but this isn't one of them. The instructors are great... the facilities are great. Sticking with great... I feel great. I'd recommend this for anyone.

I am very impressed with the quality of the instructors, the cleanliness of the facility and all of the equipment. Pilates is a multi-facet routine where you need to focus on the leader instructions, your core and breathing. The staff made us feel completely COMFORTABLE coming in as newbies and we have certainly learned and grown stronger along the way. I am in my mid-50s and have had some pain in my hips for sometime. All of the strength building and stretching associated with Pilates is making me almost pain free. It is wonderful! All the staff has been great and a special thanks out to Rachel for the many proper form tips along the way.

Maura Tobin: I *still* love PLNK! I’ve never found a group fitness class that combines strength and endurance while toning every muscle of your body like PLNK does. The results have carried over into more energy, my running, and overall endurance. Great music, motivation, and atmosphere. It’s worth every penny!

I've been a member for over 12 years and still, each class I take offers me something new. dog training: It's a great practice just wish this wasn't the only studio. They run it like, they know it is the only bikram place closest to the city. The guy instructors are cool and most of the other instructors. One bad apple particularly is the woman with the sides shaved off of her head. I come to decompress and she went spastic in class over me leaving my spot to get tissue. She was in the back of the class and I was less than 10ft from the tissue. She's crazy about you wearing a watch too! Other instances but, not to bad. Shaved head is the most condescending passive aggressive so unnecessary. I definitely made that incident my last. I was jacked for the rest of the month. I lost money because it's a "no instructor might be wrong policy". I understand the rules because, I went on south grand to bikram for years with no incidents. I miss them! For $100 plus a month and a bad relation. I'd rather be fat and stiff and invest my money elsewhere until another bikram open in the city limits.

Xochitl Castel: I came in for the first time to attend the Deep Release: Gentle Yoga & Gong class. Ann Mae (I think was the instructor's name... sorry!) was an amazing instructor! I loved the sound tools she used. The level of relaxation was like I've never experienced before, it was deep. They provided all the tools, shoes are left by the door, lockers available, door is locked during class which added a sense of peace. Great space, great energy, good parking. Highly recommend!

Nancy Murphy: I love this yoga studio! The physical space is warm and inviting. Additionally, they offer a great variety of classes. All of the classes are appropriate for all levels, offering many options. The teachers and fellow yogis are very welcoming and supportive!
david payne: Edit: The owner reached out to me over the phone, and I am very glad they did. We had a great conversation about the misunderstanding, and I feel like they listened to me. This is what I wanted: to be heard. We got to connect a bit, and it's due to this personal touch that I am glad to continue taking classes here. They even recommended other classes they offer that can potentially help with muscular issues I described.So, I am changing my rating to reflect the whole experience. Thank you.----original----I came to this studio because I was referred by a friend. The class is challenging, akin to physical therapy, which is what I want. The reason I am giving only three stars is due to how the owner chooses to schedule new student memberships. So, new students, be aware or you will lose days of your first month.New student memberships begin immediately once purchased, not upon scheduling the first class. This was neither explained nor made clear on the website. I scheduled my first class for March 1st, expecting the month to begin then. I discovered today on the 29th this is not the case, and the owner has assigned a reconciliation to my account.This is a policy focused solely on collecting dollars, not building a student base. That is not the type of business I wish to support, and I am reconsidering whether I will renew my membership. I invite the owner to respond to my comments, and if this is indeed how they run their business I will take my dollars elsewhere.
Olivia Kosta: Finally!! As a person with anxiety and a racing mind, I simply started thinking yoga was not for me. I've tried it over the years here and there, in different cities, and locally but still couldn't relate to the amazing benefits I'd been hearing about for years. All that has changed.After going regularly to Blue Sky (about 4 days a week for two months) something just clicked. I trimmed down, toned up, started seeing definition in my muscles, and my ènergy increased. The best bonus part is that I'm able to relax, and calm my mind! Being fully present during practice, and carrying that over throughout the day is such a blessing. Blue Sky is à warm inviting place, with amazing instructors and a great mixture of classes and times throughout the week. I enjoy the individual styles that each instructor brings, and feel lifted when I leave. Shout out to Annie and Casey who are just two of the amazing instructors. So....THANK YOU Blue Sky Yoga!!! 💙 This has been and will continue to be an amazing journey/ experience. I'm hooked and great full!! 🙂🤗🌞🙏
