Manuela Jimenez: Today, We took a tour at Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate factory. St. Louis Family owned since 1981, It was a short but fun experience. We got to know their background and history, which is very interesting. Something to highlight is that, while on the tour, We were observing their staff hand-decorating each truffle individually(that makes them unique and special). The rich aroma in the facility is amazing! We also got to taste some of their samples (for free) high quality chocolate with different flavors(delicious) It’s a great activity for kids, The prices are reasonable for higher-end chocolate. You can also purchase discounted, imperfect bags of candies still delicious. I wanted to surprise my husband for his 50th birthday and was willing to pay a bit more to have this cake delivered after reading the reviews. Paid for two day delivery, added a cold pack (which was pointless). Contacted the company to see why the delivery was longer than the 2 day delivery that I paid for and why I was not informed of the delay in shipping, no response from the company. So, the week-old cake that arrived was unsurprisingly stale. What’s disheartening is there was no reply or communication from the company.

Shari Moore: I ordered a cake on line for next day delivery for my daughters birthday. I placed the order before the 5:00 online deadline listed on the web site.I requested a 3-5 delivery window for the next day. I was ordering from out of state- this was a gift. I received a confirmation of the order and the payment received. When the order did not get delivered the next day- I contacted the bakery. They had left me a voicemail the prior evening stating they needed an additional 10 dollars to expedite the order- this was in addition to the $21 delivery fee that I had already paid. They told me that I had paid wrong- even though all billing and confirmation was generated by them. They then told me that they could deliver the cake the next day (1 day later than I had requested)- but as I was ordering after hours for next day delivery- it would again be a 10 fee to expedite the order. I cancelled the order. The confirmation of the cancellation stated that the order had been cancelled out of suspect for fraud on my part- the billing address did not match the delivery address.I called The Cup and they graciously had a cake available for me within 1 hour.If you have a student at Wash U and are looking to send them a sweet treat- bypass this place and go to the Cup- they will take care of you.

Eric Stevens: I just had to try the Gooey Butter Cake when I heard about it on a random podcast. Did some searching for a recipe, then realize I DON'T BAKE! So I looked for a good place to order from. Well, I found these guys. And let me tell you.. I dont know how I went thru 47 years without this in my life! Best indulgently sweet confection, such gooey perfection. Hey that rhymes! I may be cake drunk...But yeah, it came quick, packaged perfectly, and fresh as can be!

To top it off, the package arrived today (17days later) where I found out they mailed it two days after I asked. Another cherry on top of that it came melted and with mold! Do yourself a favor and avoid these people.In response to your response: I’m sorry you still haven’t grasped what good customer service is. Not do you seem to know what a Karen is. Requesting compensation for an order that arrives so late should be expected. However I should’ve known you’d respond poorly from the NUMEROUS bad reviews for the same reason which is why you’re at a 3 rating. Also the brownies came with mold and I posted pictures. I can only surmise that you have someone pretty juvenile responding to call a customer a terrorist and a Karen but that along with your continued bickering shows us what kind of business you are and fits the continued bad customer service by replying with messages that resemble a child going “na-uh!” Lol. I honestly feel bad for you at this point. You’d think you would have taken a clue but you just don’t. Good luck getting that rating up!

A.B S.: It’s hard now a days to even be in business. I feel bad for the owner when it has a rude, unhelpful, unaccommodating worker representing the business. I placed an order and it was unable to be delivered. The worker didn’t even bother to look up or find a solution or accommodate. I did my own research and was knowing my item is getting returned to sender, which they will prob throw away the treat. I was willing to take a loss on the shipping and try them again since it’s my first time. No way I can speak to owner, no solution present, just an employee telling me it’s my fault the order wasn’t delivered and I’m out of luck. This is exactly how this business will go out of business. Way to go, eventually business owners will run out of luck if service doesn’t come around.Love the response. I thought I can call back respectfully after Mother’s Day weekend. I didn’t answer because I was tending to my family and kids.Proof of service to all by the response. Love why you would even think of resending the same item. Have you thought, let me come meet you half way. Not charge again for the baked goods, I pay again for shipping and to actually be able to try your bakery baked good. Cynthia Hutchins: My husband is across the country from me and will be leaving the country for a deployment. I wanted to treat him with chocolate covered bacon before he left to go "down range." I wish I had done a better job researching bakeries that ship! The reviews that are on Creative Sweet Treats website make this bakery sound AWESOME so I ordered and paid for the express shipping on February 11th. My ordered was shipped on February 19th and it still hasn't gotten to my husband. He will probably leave the country before the order gets to him. They offer no refunds if or anything if orders don't make it in time. It was a $30 mistake. I asked if the bacon is still even going to be good when (if) he gets it because at this point its been in a box for 11 days. Bacon doesn't last forever. I was told its pretty cold in most of the country so it will be fine.....right.
Nicole Parker: This place came highly recommended and so I got the Gooey Butter cake as Christmas gift for my wife since she's a Kirkland/Stl native, but it was disappointing. Shipping and communication was on point, but taste and flavor was lacking. Don't know if they were rushing for the holidays, but it wasn't cooked all the way through (so was a bit raw). Wife says Schnucks is way better.

Kim Heller Phillips: I’ve been looking almost every holiday for someplace that makes and ships pineapple upside down cake, my dads fav and with him in Ohio and me in Florida and luckily I stumbled upon this site!! I placed an order for delivery around Christmas but received a shipping notification just a few days after I ordered. I emailed their customer service to find out what happened and they responded within 24 hours with an apology that someone had mistakenly shipped it Nov 20 vs Dec 20, profusely apologized and told me that they would ship again in December on them. So 5 stars for customer service. Now, the cake arrived and it was very much in tact, nicely wrapped, looked beautiful and well packed. Now for the true test...my dad and trust me he is an expert PUDC taster. He gave it 9.5 stars out of 10 with the comment that only mine and his wife’s are better...which was the right thing to say!! So 5 stars on presentation, packing and most importantly taste. Well done Creative Sweet Treats this will not be my only order.
Libby Libretti: Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service with this company. I placed an order for the first time on 9/12/20 asking for delivery on 9/22/20. Not only was the was the packaged delayed, they blamed me for not paying a ridiculous amount for express to ensure a timely delivery. Unfortunately due to the delay, the cookies sat in the mailbox causing them to melt. I inquired about a refund and was told sorry not our problem and added a smiley face!!?? Seriously? Take a lesson in customer service and not be such a smart a**. If you choose to buy from them hopefully your order turns out perfect and you don't need to rely on friendly customer service.

Kristen Mooney: This is one of my favorite places to go when I want to treat myself and my go to response when my boyfriend asks what I want for a present! The chocolate is fantastic. Cody Cummings: Kakao is a next level artisan chocolate shop! I don’t see how anyone could give them any less than 5 stars. I’ve been in several time for truffles, caramels, wine gummies and my favorite the marshmallow pies. We’ve even done one of the classes, which make for an excellent date night for you romantics out there. I’ve seen some people fuss about the price, but these creations aren’t “just chocolate” they’re made with skill, passion and with an artistic flair that you can’t find on the candy aisle at target. It’s a delicious experience that I reserve for those days I need a pick-me-up or a celebratory snack. Check them out in Maplewood or at the Tower Grove farmers market next time you’re at either location.

They have the most delicious chocolate and all their dark chocolate is dairy free. They also have a chocolate bark with freeze dried strawberries which are so hard to find! Josh Shands: Saying this as kindly as possible and merely wanting to leave my experience. I mean no I’ll will, I just wanted to voice my thoughts. The truffles are certainly nice, which is why I came there. The website said they were $34 for a 16-piece. When I showed up and purchased them at the counter, I’m asked “which box would you like,” so I chose one. When paying, the price seemed off, but I thought that was due to taxes. When leaving and checking the receipt, it was at least $5 off. I called and asked why and was told the box had a cost and wasn’t free. I asked if there were any free boxes to choose and they said there wasn’t. I’m just confused because how do I get 16 truffles home without putting them in a box? Plus, I wasn’t given an option to not use a box. Also, looking at the receipt, it doesn’t differentiate that the box costed; it lumps the truffles and box together. To me, this added fee for the box just felt deceptive. And for $5? Again, I’m not intending to smear or ridicule. I just think those things should’ve been made more clear in the transaction process.

Erin Schaflein: I love edible arrangements! Nick at the Delmar location goes above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Not only does the product look spectacular but tastes even better! I have ordered with him several time and have always been impressed with the communication and quality of their product. This last time, I needed a last minute adjustment and Nick fulfilled it, no problem!
PBDUBB: I was surprised with a beautiful basket of fruit and chocolate covered strawberries. They looked absolutely delicious. Looks are deceiving!! My fruit was Hard, not sweet at all. Never again will I shop from this location .!!
Suzanne Kane: I ordered an arrangement online for same day delivery at about 2:00 pm. I received a call from Nick a few minutes after receiving the order to let me know that, unfortunately, the deliver driver had already left to make about 10 deliveries, so it wouldn’t be possible to deliver my order that day. Since I really needed the gift on the exact day, Nick worked with me to come up with other options to get the arrangement to the destination if his driver couldn’t make it. About 10 minutes later, Nick called back to tell me he worked things out and the driver was back in the area so he had him come back to the store to get my order for delivery. I’m so used to people just saying, “sorry, nothing we can do,” that I needed to give Nick the credit he deserves for making this work.

She has been depressed and I just wanted to uplift her with her favorite fruit, candy, and some uplifting words. I sent an EA to her school. I requested for them to be delivered before 2pm, otherwise, she would not be there. They arrived at 2:50pm, left the arrangement with the secretary, and left. I was very upset. I called the store. They said another order would be sent out the next day. They arrived in a timely fashion and allowed my daughter to keep both orders. So they recovered from their mistake very well. The arrangement was beautiful and delicious (she saved some for me). So I definitely recommend EA to everyone!

E F: On May 9, 2023, I went into Walter Knolls to purchase ribbon. I made a bow to put into a plant only to discover I had misplaced my scissors.One of the workers from Walter Knolls saw that I was searching for something & asked if he could help. I asked him if he had scissors I could use briefly. He says “ here, let me help you with that”. He took my bow and plant inside to his designer, Maury, who did an excellent job at clipping the streamers on the bow and placing it in the plant. Maury also added a touch of greens that gave the plant a great look. Maury, you are the best. Thank You Walter Knolls for going beyond to help save my day. I am a regular customer and have always enjoyed the friendliness of Your Staff💕💐Esther
terry costello: Getting into this alley with a 53' trailer is some work! Staff are great but the tight turns and cars parked on the streets make for a strenuous time! Had about 7 guys to help us unload the load of flowers in about 20 mins. Very nice people!

H G: Horribly rude. I ordered flowers for an employee who had a baby, and was quickly inundated with endless emails and paper junk mail. I never signed up for any promotional materials and was very put off with their aggressive marketing. When I called to ask to be taken off the lists they put me on, I was spoken to very gruffly. I made the call from my open office, with others listening, and was pleasant and polite. The customer service man on the other end of the phone was immediately defensive and personally offended and kept asking me for my account - which was confusing because I did not have an account. He never asked me for my name or email, maybe that is what he wanted. I became very flustered with his condescending tone and short retorts and calmly said that he had been rude and that I'd call back later to talk to someone else, but he hung up the phone after I said "rude". It was a horrible experience. I very much hope they did not also inappropriately bombard the flower recipient with unwanted junk mail also, how embarrassing that would be for me, who just wanted to congratulate them. I was able to send an email requesting a stop to their marketing materials and received no reply but the junk mail has ceased, thankfully. I've had 10 more staff welcome new babies since then and you better believe I did not order from WKF! I've told the whole admin team of our 200+ employee office to never use them.
Mary Elgin: Flowers were absolutely gorgeous! They were fresh, bright and colorful, and exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. We got a lot of compliments! And they look beautiful in the preview shots I received from my photographer. Sue at Water Knoll Florist was fantastic to work with - accommodating and super easy to get ahold of. Jacqui Boyd: Using Walter Knoll for our florals was an easy choice! My sisters both used Walter Knoll for their weddings and both times they did an amazing job. During our consultation meeting, Sue showed us different options and all of our pieces matched our winter theme perfectly for the big day! I was so happy when I saw the bouquets with the girls’ dresses and the arrangements they created for the ceremony/reception were absolutely beautiful! I can’t recommend them enough!
Mark Gittinger: Walter Knoll website was really easy to order. Lots of choices for any occasion. The flowers were delivered on time and looked exactly like the photo. They communication was great from receipts to staying informed on the delivery.

Dont think it came from this location though. Please do yourself a favour and NEVER order online, you will never know if what you purchased will be what shows up to your recipient. I information them I wouldn't be at the same location and needed my order right then and didn't know where my next location would be. I ended up driving their fastly (and thank God I didn't get a ticket) to pick up my fruit basket myself. Still had to wait another 15 minutes or so before it was ready. Was not a happy camper with this order!!!
