La Pâtisserie Chouquette: what do users think?
Lori A: What an amazing stop! The pastries taste as amazing as they look, which is phenomenal. We didn't get a drink, but those looked decadent as well! The staff were all incredibly friendly & happy to help.
Daniel N: Sparkling hibiscus-5 starIced Vietnamese Cold Brew-5 starCanele - rum cake with crunchy outside..delicious!Almond Croissant-very flaky and delicious just what you’re hoping it would be.Everything was super!-the pic of the box is 2 treats taking home!!
H Copeland: Not thrilled with customer service. I called very early before a holiday and was told pre-orders for that special event would be available at some point *after* a *specific* date. Called back the morning of that exact date to see about placing an order and they told me pre-orders opened about a week prior and were already sold out. Would have been nice to know that I needed to check their website every day after I initially called to make sure I didn't miss it. This day meant a lot to me, so I'm very disappointed I didn't even have an opportunity.I went a couple years ago for a macaron and it was disappointing. Great variety of flavors offered, but the technical execution is poor. The texture isn't what a true macaron should be. Their croissants weren't well-executed from a technical baking standpoint either, which I could tell just by visual appearance.
nicole kekich: The baklava cheesecake is life-changing!!! Delicious!
Sarah Hubmeier: My family had Tea Time to celebrate my birthday and it was AMAZING! The menu was really varied and everyone enjoyed trying so many different items. We had tea, savory foods, and lots of yummy deserts. The presentation was beautiful and the service was impeccable. We all - husband, 16 YO daughter, & 13 YO son - had a great experience.
X Gemstone: If you haven't been here yet... you are missing out! 🤯 Chef Simone's bourbon rolls are the stuff of Magix. The coffee and Thai tea are tied for 1st! I xpecially enjoy when split drinks are available. My mouth is watering thinking about her pecan pies during the fall season... OOO her 🥓 🌽 muffins are also 🔥This place fueled me through the entire pandemic. I'm serious. It was the only place that made me feel safe.
Shih-Ching Lin: Their passion fruit mille crepe is awesome. Saturday special.
Madeline Alexander: Such a cute place with delicious pastries. Definitely a splurge but worth it if you want to indulge.
Bessie Hairston: Nice place to eat
A B: Pasteries are to die for. Taste so good!! The rest was a bit of a mess.. They got my order wrong. And the pasteries were crammed into too tight boxes making them messy and damaging their beauty. Next time I will try to come at a less busy time and have a sit down.
Cadence Giddings: A great patisserie! I love to visit when I am in the area. The macarons are perfectly made. They offer a wide selection of flavors- it’s hard to choose so you might as well get one of each! The other pastries are delicious too. The service is also good.
Jeanette Days: Went today for the very first time. Loved EVERYTHING! The atmosphere was AMAZING! Can't wait to go back.
Cynthia Espino: A must stop spot if you are visiting St. Louis! The DARKNESS Croissant is exceptional as well as the Vietnamese Iced Cold Brew. Staff are super friendly, and they do a great job of moving the line quickly. They do sell out quickly, so plan accordingly.
Debjit Roy: Delicious pastry and savoury. We also got our birthday cake from them. It was pretty nice. Only thing with the cake was they didn’t have much varieties, but everyone loved that cake. It’s also so nice that if one goes there at noon on weekends, they won’t get most of the stuff.
Kia Cook: This place has the best macaroons! They are huge and buttery--the flavor gets better as they sit for a while. The decor of la pâtisserie is also luxe! Great place to go when visiting Saint Louis.
Austin Patton: This place was FANTASTIC (excluding the lemon croissant at least). I tried three things: the blueberry and almond tart, the tiramisu brownie, and the lemon stuffed croissant. Ignoring the croissant, I think this place is deserving of a 5 star rating. The homemade whipped cream on top of the tart was a great touch and overall the tart was very moist. Even though I’m generally not a big tart fan, I got it as the cashier recommended it and I would also definitely recommend it to anyone who goes there. The tiramisu brownie was very good, but my only complaint is that I didn’t really taste the undertones of coffee or mascarpone cheese that you would typically taste in tiramisu. The white layer seemed to taste more like cream cheese as if this was a chocolate cheesecake brownie instead. But even with the flavor profile that was different than what I expected, this brownie was still excellent. The lemon croissant was easily the least impressive pastry I ate here. It was relatively bland compared to the other two things, and the croissant was a tad dry. The filling wasn’t very sweet and only had a slight taste of lemon to it. I wouldn’t recommend it as I didn’t think it was worth the calories.
Johnson Lancaster: Shared the tiramisu brownie with a friend. It was delicious.
Mckenzie Mcmurray: I highly recommend La Pâtisserie Chouquette!Their macarons are fantastic, and we recently ordered a 48-hour cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was delicious and I can’t wait to get one for my birthday next month! Lol
Deep Chatterjee: It was my first visit. Pastries and other sweets are unique and great to taste. We brought some stuff for later. The ambiance of the place is also great. We went right when they opened and were there for a couple of hours, and I noticed they sell out quickly. So you have to be early.
Ed Mantia: Always an indulging treat. Excellent in categories.
Faybra Jabulani: Some of the best treats in town, and the chicory drinks are lovely.

Whisk: a Sustainable Bakeshop: what do users think?
Devlin Smith: Fired all employees with zero notice. Horrid owner, deserves to fail completely.
Casey H.: I ordered a vegan chocolate cake with vegan raspberry icing for my birthday, and it was DELICIOUS! The cake was rich and moist, the raspberry icing was just the right balance of sweet and tart, and the decoration was so cheerful! The staff are responsive, friendly, and overall top notch. Will be getting another cake from them, for sure!
Christopher Yee: pumpkin snicker doodle firecruffin also fire
Paul Spoerry: Delicious! We're staying above and the scent is divine!
Amy: Enjoy their popsicles and gluten free options. I recommend calling before you go to make sure they’re open.
Sarah Schwartze: We worked with Whisk for our wedding desserts. We ordered the small bites and popsicles for our outdoor August wedding. They were delicious and delivered to our venue. Easy to work with!
Rebecca Davis: Salty caramel cupcake is delicious!!
Meshelle B: Best Bakery in St Louis. Hands Down!!
Christine K: Great little bakery! Definitely worth a stop.
A. Scott Samson: Great food (both sweet and savory). Solid cold brew. But the reason this place stands above the rest is their staff. They're great with recommendations and conversation.
Adam Dent: Everything is always delicious and fresh. Service is always quick and friendly. Be sure to try some Poptimism pops too!
Kennay Proctor: Really enjoyed the Blondie.
Leslie Salisbury: Delicious and wonderful vibes!
Glenn Logan: We have become regulars at Whisk, mainly because they have such amazing vegan treats! My wife and I are vegans and it's difficult to find great vegan treats without making them ourselves, but Whisk always comes through! Between Raspberry Thumbprints and Healthy Cookies, they keep us coming back! They recently added Flapjack bars which are also awesome! Highly recommend this bakery!
Jennifer Mcguirk: Love the healthy cookie!
iva harper: Delicious pastry
Ryan Lacy: Whisk was the highlight of my trip to St Louis. I wish I could pick this place up and move it my hometown. The pastries were so unique and delicious and the staff were very friendly. Treat yourself to a treat here!
Joshua Hermreck: Best sweets! Salty caramel cupcakes are my fav.
Jodie Smith: Had a great, straight-forward experience with Whisk for our small wedding and the cake was delicious. They were super prompt in answering my questions and were helpful with collaborating on a cake within their wheelhouse. Ordered two cakes, one cake as the display and the other for the caterers to plate up.
Mark T: A bakery with a selection of items a mom would make. I had a tart which was very good
Zora Williams: Great sustainable bakery.

Pint Size Bakery & Coffee: what do users think?
Jimmy Earl: awful service, rude staff
Nick Wood: Our go to for birthday cakes.Good selection of pastries and coffee but we always use them for birthday cakes and custom cakes. Often they are priced better than other custom cake options as well.
Kyle O'Reilly: Best bakery in town for my 2 cents
Katie O'Brien: Everything is amazing - highly recommend the quiche, hand pies, croissants, latte, brookie, and really anything else in the case! I ordered a whole quiche for Christmas a couple years ago and it was phenomenal. Hit up pint size for your next event, craving, or coffee run. You won’t regret stopping here!
Samantha Eastman: This is my husband’s absolute favorite bakery. Their broccoli cheddar scones are to die for, their hand pies are divine, and the salted caramel croissants?! Words don’t do them justice. Y’all need to get over to Pint Sized.
Shannon Leon: Pint Size is the bees' knees! We were gifted a cookie assortment at my work for the holidays, and everything was AMAZING. I loved it so much that I had to leave a review right away.
mandy arena: Everything I've had from here has been amazingTheir pie crust is the absolute best! The quiche and hand pies.....you'll dream about them and find ways to get out of the house early on a Saturday to go get some. The cupcakes tooEverything is so so good
Mark T: If you are looking for donuts, this is not thr place. But, if you want pastries, you will have lots of options. I had the big cookie and it was delicious
Dave Hoang: My croissant was unbelievably buttery and flaky, exactly what I was craving
Rachel Strom-Norris: My family enjoys this place, but wish there was somewhere to sit and eat. Take away only, or there are 2 benches out front. The salted caramel croissants (Kouign-amann) are delicious and we love their cookies.
Fig Beebo: Savory scones, brookies, hand pies, cookies...I have yet to come here and walk out empty handed. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've eaten from here. The bakery is small but adorable and the staff are always the sweetest people!Honestly the only negative things I could say about this place is that the hours are limited and that if something is especially delicious, it sells out very fast (and early!) And sadly for me, I am not a morning person so I do not get to come here as often as I would like to.
nani nuna: rude staff.
Maire Schultz: Absolutely delicious! I love to stop in for a chai latte, a savory breakfast to-go and a sweet treat. I also had an amazing custom cake made for my toddlers 2nd birthday and her little siblings gender reveal. We got his first birthday smash cake too!
Teresa Wise: Sooo good! The cupcakes are heavenly. Great lattes and The Yum Buns are truly the yummiest. Love this place!
Chris Gluck: Great chocolate chip cookies. They also do cookie cakes.
Susan Spencer: Everything is consistently fresh and delicious -- probably my favorite bakery in St. Louis. Lots of originality in the flavors, too; you'll want to try one of everything.
Sydney Brockman: Christy was wonderful to work with! She was so helpful and our wedding cake was beautiful. She accommodated every request we had and did a great job. I highly recommend Pint Sized for any celebration cake!
Ilonka Mejia: Excellent service!
Jon Parker: I've gotten cakes for my daughter 3 years in a row from pint size. Always excellent.
Seannon Nichols: This is the only bakery in Saint Louis I give my business too because it’s 100 percent amazing every single visit. The only problem I ever have there is not getting there in time before the quiche sells out! Staff is always friendly and the confections make you think you’re in a patisserie in Paris! They are even doing my dessert table and cake for my wedding. Phenomenal place. Don’t miss it!
Jen West: Pint Size is dangerously close to our house. We have loved everything, not a single miss. The twix tart is my favorite and I'm crossing my fingers it becomes a staple on their menu!!

The Cup: what do users think?
Brianne Vaught: Very cute and welcoming. the cupcakes are amazing!
Hanna Wilson: Voted #1 Cupcake in St. Louis
Libby Ramm: Best cupcakes in St. Louis
Shawn: Always outstanding cupcakes! Great flavor combinations, fun seasonal specials, light and moist cake, and perfectly fluffy buttercream.
Mark Sommer: Delicious
Ruth Ruth: Delicious and Fresh!!
Hailey Ray: My husband and I live 3 hours away from St. Louis, but every time we come to the city we always make a special trip to The Cup no matter how far away. They have BY FAR the best cupcakes we’ve ever had! Every time we come in they have new flavors for us to try and the staff is always so friendly and amazing. We could not recommend this place more!
Holli Kirsch: Please go here! Not only are the cupcakes delicious, but the staff was so kind. Our group was walking back to our car when the tornado sirens started going off and the green suddenly turn nasty green. It was terrifying. We dashed into their storefront. The staff was calm and went out of their way to make sure everyone was safe.
Jill M: Consistently amazing!
4_Ever _Gr8teful: Very pretty and clean bakery. The cupcakes and icing are just delicious! Always enjoy walking here from work. It's great! It's ducked off on a quiet street in the CWE. My favorite are the confetti cupcakes.
Cayla Rauss: I went to The Cup for a cupcake because I heard that they had a really good vegan cupcake. I went in and was not disappointed. The chocolate vegan cupcake was to die for!!!!
Prithvi Shah: I bought three cupcakes Gold Rush, Vegan chocolate and a Strawberry on a Saturday night. The strawberry cupcake was absolutely delicious and fresh (recommend it); but the other two were not at all fresh, tasted 2-3 days old, and we honestly did not enjoy (or even finish) them.Next time we go there, we would probably ask what's the freshest they carry...esp for what's atleast $4 a piece.
bronwyn miller: best cupcakes I’ve had!! the cake is so moist and delicious. sometimes the amount of buttercream is enough to hurt your teeth a little. i’m partial to the red velvet but i’ve never had a bad cupcake from them
Shaunna Dunn: Today was my son's 7th Birthday. I'd invited friends and family to share the experience. I was excited when noticed The Cup offered the birthday cakes. My son hates confetti but loves the white cake with buttercream icing. Before ordering I called and asked could I request the confetti cake without the confetti. The baker informed me I could. I let the baker know my name and let her know I was submitting my order. She informed me to write in the notes my request. I submitted my order and wrote "confetti on the side". I go to pick up my cake today and there was confetti all over the cake. Birthday cake ruined 😒!! I pulled the recipe request next to the cake and my request was highlighted. So upset. Please pay special attention to request especially if it's a child's birthday.
Kelly Bogda: Very disappointed. I recommended this company to an out of town parent of a WashU student that wanted to do something special for their child for their birthday. The parent contacted the bakery and placed an order and arranged for delivery, and then the bakery cancelled at the last minute and did not contact the parent. I will not recommend them again.
J E: The strawberries and crème cupcake and the coffee cake cupcake are so delicious. Well worth the drive! The ladies are always so nice when I come in and the prices are so good. Will be back soon for our sweet treat.
Scott Grilliot: These cupcakes are like they are made by an Angel using God’s recipe. I have had many cupcakes in my life, from places all over the USA but these are the best cupcakes I’ve had in my entire life.
gwen oliver: No problems
Richard Sobieralski: Awesome cupcakes! I’ve never had any better!!!
Johnathan B: Amazing, best date dessert hands down.
armando leos: The coffee was not that great!also no cash change?!😒

SweetArt: what do users think?
Denae Cherry: I visited about 3 or 4 times to be sure that I was being fair. Each time it was hit or miss for me. The faux chicken dishes are great, best I've had. I personally wasn't a fan of some of the baked goods or the Mac and cheese, they were bland to me and not worth the price. The brownie was more of a cake. Although, the cinnamon rolls and the cookies were divine. The staff were great each visit. Very friendly and helpful. On my first visited, half of my order was missing and they were very prompt and kind about completing my order. Overall, I do think it's worth visiting if you're in the area and are looking for a bite to eat.
Kathy Torrington: Delicious vegan lunch in a friendly, vibrant community setting!
Claudia J: Dude…these are the best cupcakes I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of cupcakes
Tukesha Lang: Beautiful experience starting with opening the door. Greeted immediately, accompanied with a smile; welcoming vibes. My hubby and I ordered and awaited our dine-in experience. All our food was made to order and delicious .Of course we had try the desserts. OMGThe chocolate chip cookies are the bomb and so were the cupcakes. We will be back to try other menu items….meaning I would definitely recommend. I wish I could rate if 10 stars.
Nathan Wells: I'll give it 5 stars because for Vegan food, it was great. I'm not a vegetarian though. The chicken sandwich was as close to chicken as possible I feel. It was a bit pricey but is expected with vegan food.
Michelle Bach: The baked goods are out of this world. I could live inside the Kale Yeah salad. A genuine family owned business.
Sarah Walters: As much as I love the food here, the service has gone so downhill. The last 3-4 times I've ordered, the pickup times are completely inconsistent. Today I placed a scheduled order to go, only to have to wait ~20 minutes after I arrived at my scheduled pick up time and people who have arrived at the restaurant after I did have who placed orders at the counter received food before I have. And when I get home, they've forgotten my side, so thanks for that. Get it together.
Key: SweetArt is amazing, just like their food. Good customer service and delicious sweets!!!! I literally forgot to take a picture, maybe next time.
Victoria Hines: Most of the items I've had here were good. From the sweets, to the burgers, to the fries (however, the fries can be a little too salty with the Cajun seasoning but they were fresh and you can tell they came from a real potato), the kale salad. They have an artsy vibe. The only dish that I did not like at all was the old-fashioned taco, but it wasn't a usual menu item.
CC J: LOVE THEIR FOOD. Always nice to see a black-owned business.
Lauren Turek: Absolutely fantastic food and baked goods. Whenever I'm in town, SweetArt is one of my first stops. The vegan burger is perfect! Every sweet treat I've ever gotten has made my heart sing.
William Vallellanes: Their cupcakes are delicious! Really good selection of flavors and they had much more than just sweet treats. Will be back for sure.
Chris Harsley: What a unique spot, vegan food from scratch, great artwork, sweets.....what more could you ask for?
Ann Monroe: The Kale salad, chikn taco and chocolate chip cookies were all amazing!
angie slape: Absolutely delicious and love the atmosphere
Asia boo Mccanton: Everything I had was amazing
Brittany Paxton: This was a really cool place. I'll definitely be back.
Qiana Brown: Amazing vegan food. Well worth the wait,
quincy bullock: Best food I’ve ever tasted in my life. You have to try the Jamaican Kinaid taco the flavor was extraordinary
Moonlight MOON: Great food!First time eating vegan food.Customer service was amazing the time I had to wait on food was awful ut well worth it!
Tamara Rodney: Finally got to sample a SweetArt's entré!Though I've had their sweets before, I was never able to try and entree, but that all changed today with the Big Poppa burger. It was delicious and definitely calls for a return visit.

Sugaree Baking Company: what do users think?
douglas hammond: Great pastries, and coffee, great emplouees
Kris Lugosi: The pecan pie, Kentucky Butter Cake, Chocolate Seduction pie, THE CARROT CAKE!!!!! All absolutely phenomenal. I got the incredible pleasure of getting to meet the owner and baker prior to brick and mortar closing up shop and she is the most sweetest wonderful human. The woman can bake. She doesn't bake a bad thing
Paul sturmanator: Best bakery in St. Louis
Bob Hope: I knew it had to be a great bakery because there were ten people waiting for Sugaree to open. Their Blueberry Crumb and Chocolate Pecan pies were absolutely amazing.
Ra: I make the drive from Swansea, il. every Saturday. ♥️♥️♥️
Kitty G: Excellent pies (we bought the apple and pecan--extraordinary!). Best blueberry muffins I've ever had, bursting with berries. Too bad for us the proprietor is retiring in a month and the place is closing....
Joann Eng-Hellinger: Friendly and efficient staff. The baked goods are delicious! The shop is always clean and beautifully decorated. Love ordering online.
Mike Herbst: Pretty rude on the phone. Called in to place an order and she just kept telling me to do it online. I’ll go elsewhere thanks.
Brandon Miller: The nicest staff and quality baked goods!! So lucky to live in the same neighborhood.Update:. Absolutely love this place! Plum torts were so delicious!!
Dylan Fotiadis: Sugaree prepared the cake for our wedding last weekend. It was simply breathtaking, inside and out. What a great experience. Can't recommend Sugaree enough!!
Jeff Haller: Lovely people. Great service. Great desserts.
Jason Wever: Everything here is amazing. The best pies in town. They also excel at cookies, pastries, and cakes. My wife and I got our wedding cake from here and had the best experience (and best cake) that you could imagine. Their quiches are also great! One thing you absolute MUST get from here when they're in season: THE TOMATO PIE. It's a very unique dish and not to be missed!
Abby S: So glad I discovered this bakery near my work. The salted chocolate chunk shortbread cookie I had was so delicious. I also purchased a carrot cake to take home with me, it smells great and I can’t wait to try it! The girl working was also very nice and helpful.
jim carroll: It was wonderful
Mary Jane Van Cleave: The best ever chicken pot pie. Coconut cake and carrot cake to die for. Highly recommend.
Craig Rash: Went in to talk about a inquiry, staff very rude. Then when I sent in a inquiry no call but an email to say they are not available. Very disappointed by their customer service, wouldn’t waste my time on them.
D Lister: Always the finest quality and selection.
Walter Pruitt: We have shopped with Sugaree for over 15 years. Curbside for Thanksgiving and Christmas was horrible in 2021
Paul Beck: Desserts are always awesome from this place. Friendly staff
Emily: Fun place for evening drinks.
Bob E: Fresh great bakery items

Comet Coffee: what do users think?
Natalie Henderson: Wonderful service, flavorful + balanced espresso, flaky + buttery pain au chocolate - just didn’t realize the seating would be a choice between a noisy indoor space or outdoor space right by the highway… we were kinda hoping for a restful morning with a book and while the coffee is excellent, this ain’t that.
Robert Mitchell: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
F B: Good location. Great coffee. Tasty pastries. Friendly staff. Nice space to enjoy it all. What more can you ask for from a coffee joint?
Nichole Sullivan: I love the croissants here, but the parking and entrance is a little difficult to navigate. However, pastry wise you almost can't go wrong. There is a specials menu with rotating items which I love to try new things from. It's worth the headache of the parking lot.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Chocolate Croissant Parking space Difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Scott Thompson: This is by far one of my favorite coffee joints in STL. The baristas are always on their game. Excellent choice of locally roasted beans. I'm not usually a big fan of pour overs - they are one of the few places I've been that nail them. But none of that is the purpose of this review. I'm here to talk about their beyond-phenomenal pistachio croissants. It's what you would get if a croissant hooked up with a piece of baklava. Truly delicious. I'm embarrassed my photo doesn't do it justice.
Courtney DesMarais: Great bear claws and chocolate croissant.Coffee is perfectly made every time! Some new items lately and they slap hard 🔥🔥Gotta try the twice baked croissant (drool)!!Lots of options for Vegetarian’s and anti-milkers too.Vegetarian options: Tons!Parking: Lots of on-street parking out front plus bike racksDietary restrictions: Gluten free options are amazing
Rachel S: Very popular and for good reason. They have a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks, plus pastries that are delicious. On the weekends be prepared to wait in line, but it moves quickly.Parking: If parking in front is full, there's a 2h visitor lot behind the building
Joel Bittle: Rivals any place in St. Louis for pastries.
Luke Quell: I had the best cup of coffee (Kenyan) I have ever had in my life here. I was told it was the best coffee in St. Louis (and it is) but it goes beyond that. The croissants are also great.
Conor Mack: Fantastic coffee, seating area is a little small.
Michael Coomes: Smaller coffee shop but feels like a gem in the area. Coffee and pastry were great and staff were polite.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jaime Martinez: This place is a must do if you are in the St. Louis area. I was in the St. Charles area but worth the drive. In my humble opinion, the best blueberry muffins I have ever tasted. Now, be sure to come early as those don't last very long as the supply is limited.Friendly staff and excellent coffee. At least both of the lattes I had were excellent (both hot and one decaffeinated and the other caffeinated).
Jon Brown: Had a patient bring me a croissant one morning from here. Omg it's as if I've never had a croissant before. It was amazing
Mitchell Koory: Good coffee with lots of options, and one of the best gluten-free cookies (made with almond flour) that I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere too, will definitely return.

Anna Wild: Best coffee in St Louis for sure. I typically order a pour-over and buy some nice beans to take home! It’s always been pretty busy when I’ve gone and they have limited seating, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for studying for long periods of time, but if you care about really good coffee, this is the place to go!!
20Drummajor: Pretty good food and coffees.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Eric Mishne: Great cappuccino! Nutty flavor to the espresso, on the strong side, but not as harsh and acidic as a cheap espresso like “SB.”A cappuccino is my go to drink for first visits to a coffee shop because it allows me to taste the espresso and see how they treat their milk. Comet nailed it.They were out of small cups but still put the proper amount of milk in the large cup. Some large chains that will not be named just top off the cup assuming that I would always just want a larger cup. Comet cares about the ratios. Well done folks.

Phi X: Their food was meh at best...or mid.We had a breakfast sandwich and their special of the day, a Mac and cheese burger. We both chose potatoes as our sides and regretted it. There was no flavor to them and had to add more seasonings. The burger was good, wished it was cooked more as it was more of a medium vs medium well, but not a big deal. It needed a bit more sauce or seasonings on it as it was just lacking in the flavor department. The best thing was the gooey buttercake. That was to die for

David Phan: I have been to Russell's on multiple occasions and I have yet to find something on the menu I did not thoroughly enjoy. I highly recommend the biscuits, which are perfectly crisp and flaky on the outside and deliciously soft on the inside. Whatever you decide to try, you cannot go wrong with any choice on the menu.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Andrea Eppy: Delicious! The grilled french toast was perfect. I love that it wasn’t soggy and that the condiments were on the side. You definitely need to make a reservation a few weeks in advance. Very cute atmosphere. Would definitely return!
Nathan Reitz: Great food, great service , the perfect place for a Sunday brunch!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Breakfast Burrito, Cinnamon Roll, Biscuits and Gravy …More
Laura Moore: Be prepared for some heat with your main courses. Full disclosure, I read the description for lemon chili treatment with my selection, but could have heeded it more. In fact it was the lemon chili treatment that caught my eye. My seabass was prepared expertly and presented on a hubbard squash (i believe) mash that had fine flavors included, then dressed with mentioned lemon chili oil. Tasty, chili-ed and rich. The brocolini, sadly, was a bit tough, but the tenderer parts were very tasty. My friend also found her roasted chicken surprisingly heated in taste. She loved the vegetable combo for its presentation, but was similarly caught not anticipating the intensity. We'll be back, and more attentive to the descriptions. Thanks Russell's!
A D: Best club sandwhich!!Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rhonda Newberry: Dinner was less than exciting. We went there to celebrate 2 birthdays and were very disappointed. They used to have a better selection and more reasonable prices. We won't be back and won't recommend to anyone
Loren Farmer: Wonderful place...outstanding staff...incredible cocktails and meal. A must!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Courtney Berry: Had a great breakfast with friends. The cinnamon roll was delicious, the French toast fantastic, and the Flatbread yummy. We grabbed some goodies out of the pastry case on the way out. Try the tiramasu and the lemon curd cake. They also have a variety of gooey butter cake, get that, too. You can't go wrong with anything you order. They had the back porch all cozy with heaters and blankets. We'll definitely go back again.

Cakery: what do users think?
Sara Reggie: Got my son's baptism sheet cake from here - absolutely delicious!!! Will definitely be using again in the future.
April Kohler: The cake I ordered was a little late getting finishing touches on it but it was SOO very worth every penny and the wait.
Rhiannon Pyle: Omg! Talk about a dream wedding cake! The Cakery Bakery won me over from their delicious cakes, but I cannot believe that was combined with the most beautiful cake! They worked with me through several emails to deliver such a beautiful and delicious outcome. Cannot recommended them enough!!
Katie Felts: Hands down the best cake we have ever tried! Excellent combination of cake flavor and icing. We booked them for our wedding on 3/18/23, and are so glad we did! We are already planning on using them for special moments in years to come!
Gena Napier: Ordered a cake online at the last minute before my son’s birthday. The online ordering was super easy. Our cake was personalized and ready the next day. It looked great. And, oh my, the cake tasted so good. Complete winner!
Rodger Wright: You will never go wrong
Jordan Mason: Great cake! Always a favorite but book ahead!!!
TyShae Graves: Erica is amazing!
Sara Martens: Perfection! Every single time! Perfection!
Thomas Mccrea: Fire cakes
Amy Padgett: Extremely pleased with the personalized decorated cookies we ordered for a baby shower.. They were adorable! Had very good service here.
Paul: Best bakery in St. Louis! They did our wedding cake last month, had numerous guests come up and tell us how great the cake was
Leslie Smith: I admit, I have only had their “cake in a cup“, but it is totally fantastic!Rather than tossing the scraps and extra pieces of their “fancy cakes“, they put them in a cup with icing and more cake, and it’s heavenly. The cake is always moist and tasty, and of course the icing is the bomb.I normally just get the vanilla, but call them, because sometimes they have three or four other flavors besides their normal white, golden vanilla and chocolate. The price for this cup is very reasonable, and unless you are really depressed, you can share this large container with somebody else. 😊
Jade Lim: Ordered a red velvet cake - absolutely delicious and would 100% go back again!
Eric Bogenschutz: Best cake's in STL. We come to the Cakery for all our special occasions and it never disappoints!
Jordan Plumb: The Cakery is the best bakery in St. Louis (or dare I say best in the world). We've had Cakery birthday cakes for years, and they recently created our Wedding Cake which was the most beautiful and delicious cake we've ever seen! It was everything. Ericka and her team are SO friendly, knowledgable, and all around amazing. Do yourself a favor and order a cake asap! :) French vanilla is our favorite - its flavor is unmatched.
Greg King: Best cakes you'll ever eat
Beth Slaboda: Hands down some of the best cake I've ever had. I love that there are pre-made options you can have writing put on. Like ordering something from the grocery store, but SO MUCH BETTER. I'm an icing girl normally, but the cake from The Cakery is totally amazing...as is the icing. Ordering process was easy and everything was exactly the way we wanted it...we will be back!!
Amanda Uhles: Wanted a nice cake for my Mom’s birthday. She said this THE BEST cake she’s ever had!!! Really great job and great curbside service!!!
Lynn Hardin: Place was only taking online orders and we only figured that out after driving there and a sign on the sidewalk. The photos online of the food looked amazing though.
Allison Burden: The Cakery made our wedding cake and it was so beautiful and delicious! They were very easy to work with and had great options during our tasting with them. Would highly recommend!

Knead Bakehouse: what do users think?
Anna Anglim Farrell: We use Knead often for team lunches at work. They are prompt, easy to work with, and the food is so so good. Highly recommend for catering as well as popping in and picking up.
Faith Sandler: Our organization has ordered meeting meals three times now through Knead. Today AGAIN, our experience was top drawer, perfectly wonderful, couldn’t be better. Catering staff is immediately responsive and helpful, the quality of the food unmatched, and the timeliness of the preparation completely reliable. Really, I don’t want to order anywhere else. This morning I pulled into the Knead parking lot early. I walked through the door to two smiling folks, the realization that everything was prepared on time/early and awaiting me, and willing help getting it all to the car. I arrived at my meeting before the guests and had time to put out the food and to greet them warmly.MOST IMPORTANTLY there isn’t a person who did not comment on the freshness, the flavor, and the remarkable sourdough in the breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Not one. We amply fed a meeting of 10 people and provided leftovers for about 5 staff members and still had leftovers from a small breakfast bundle, which by the way was complete with everything we needed.Once I’ve digested, I’ll be ordering again for an even larger group next week. Between the quality of the food and the reliability of the service, there’s no reason to explore other options.
Daniel Kelly: My wife & I visited Knead Bread house for the first time this morning. Many of or neighbors have been and recommended we should try it.Our experience was not what we expected ,the website shows ample indoor seating but there isn't any. My wife ordered the 9oz parfait which came in a3oz cup.I ordered the ham & egg sandwich which was very good.It appears that the business has changed to carry out only very disappointing. Won't be back.
Zach Gordon: Light and fluffy doughnuts. Great breakfast sandwich
Jakob Barker: Love this place, there lamb sandwich (you can only get friday) is amazing. Along with there bread and pastries
Becca Marti: chai latte and 4 sour dough donuts! so good, staff friendly, bit pricey but worth it!
Braden West: Sourdough is now, officially, overrated
Michael Bates: This place has GREAT bread and sandwiches! Cookies and brownies were very good also! We live 30 miles away but definitely will be making another visit soon.
Jillian Dalton: The BLT was delicious. I loved the icing on the carrot cake and the flavor of the cake, but the texture could have been a little more soft and just a bit more moist.
Emily Rose H.: While their food and service are well managed, I am afraid neither are justified by their high prices.
Kate B: I love coming here, they're always so friendly. I enjoyed the patio seating with my little one and had the hibiscus kolache w lemon curd - all the flavors came through, and I love their sourdough and how it contrasts w sweetness in the pastry.
R Cusick: Finally checked this place off my list! They're understandably busy on a Saturday morning, but I was in line longer than I waited on my order. Had my very first kolache (ham and Swiss), a bit of a cinnamon roll (WOW! flaky glaze like a donut), and an iced chai latte. The person at the register was super sweet and patient with the long line. And the food is going to bring me back for sure.
Melvin K. Latham: Knead is amazing! The sourdough donuts are delicious and I enjoyed the recent fish fry special. Thank you for being awesome and I look forward to the next visit!
Lorne Hebert: Amazing doughnuts, bread and sandwiches!
Sam Thomas: Overpriced and deceptive. have a small sign by register stating they automatically up charge 15 % to every transaction and claim it’s a “tip”. Factor these prices into the advertised price of your products if you’re forcing everyone to pay them. Not everyone wants to “tip” 15% on a 9 loaf of bread.
Kenn Kildron: The Maple Custard, amazing!
Eliu and Naomi Gonzalez: We tried this place for a late breakfast this morning and everything was absolutely delicious! You can taste the freshness and high quality in every ingredient. We had the sausage breakfast sandwich- it is the most delicious, fresh home made sausage with no filler junk used in commercialized brands. The bun had sesame seeds and was scrumptious.Their cinnamon roll is the best we’ve ever tried- the sourdough base gives it an obvious unique flavor. Our kids had the sourdough red velvet cake and the apple/pistachio danish. Both are sprinkled with beautiful rose petals! The staff was polite and informative. We’ll be back!
Kirin Pax: This is my favorite bakery in stl. I wish the hours were more convenient for people who work "office hours" because it's hard to make it in.
Fred Voegtli: If you enjoy good bread, nothing else needs to be said. 👍
Zac Oldenburg: Great baked goods, great breakfast sando, great coffee.
Meta Lee: The cinnamon rolls are delicious! I purchased them for the holidays and even the aroma in the Bakehouse when I picked them up made my mouth water. What a lucky neighborhood to have this gem !
