St. Louis Wellness Center: what do users think?
Miles Parker: The Sauna and The WBV (whole body Vibration)First, let me say if you have back pain the WBV is a great way to loosen the muscles. I did 20/20. 20 sauna 20 wbv and loved them both. You are in a single room with both the sauna and the vibration machine, it makes it comfortable and private. Please do be aware of the time as they are usually booked and you need to get dressed and out pretty quickly for them to stay on scheduleThe sauna was so comfortable, it had a lounging back piece that no other sauna I have been to has had.I can't wait to go back.Highly recommend.
Sarah S: St. Louis Wellness Center offers a great variety of services. I really enjoy a good sweat in the infrared sauna. I like how you get to choose the type of lighting you want in the sauna for color therapy. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Emily Sarmiento: I came to St. Louis Wellness Center looking to use the infrared sauna to support my body through detoxing, inflammation, and with my autoimmune disorder. The sauna is new, clean, and offers an array of healing light therapy to pair with your session. The environment is clean and inviting and I look forward to my session every week! It has helped my body and my health so much already and I can’t recommend it enough. The staff is also very knowledgeable if you have questions, always a plus! Give it a try and don’t forget to bring water! :)
Bertha Williams: The Infrared sauna at the center is wonderful. It doesn’t over power you like a dry or steam sauna. The rates are very reasonable and periodically they have great specials. I highly recommend you try it. You will not be disappointed.
Kevin Zeldin: The Wellness Center offers so many wonderful and unique services to help with growth for your mind, body and spirit. So far ... I 've been amazed with the past-life regression with Michelle Rubin. It was fascinating and challenged my thinking in ways I didn't expect. I also appreciate the sauna with the chromotherapy experience. I liked it so much I bought a 10-pack. There are still other services I am eager to try.
Emily W: I was looking for a sauna in St. Louis area and found this place as one of top saunas places. Also they recently got brand new sauna, it’s super clean and has different Infrared lights depending on your mood. Best of all, they are the cheapest, good for your bucks!
Brad Johnson: A friend referred me to St. Louis Wellness Center for their sauna services, and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and the facility is clean and comfortable. Before I left after my first visit I set up several more sessions and I continue to be pleased with the service.
Julie Johnson: St. Louis Wellness Center is a local gem for anyone wanting to invest in a healthier self! You’ll find a friendly, knowledgeable staff and a plethora of evidence based healing modalities to explore. I have particularly enjoyed their new far infared sauna. It is a wonderful way to detox, boost the immune system, and get some much needed alone time! I also had my first acupuncture treatment tonight and it was phenomenal. Five stars for everything I’ve tried at St. Louis Wellness Center.
Jamie Adams: Renee is amazing. Help at an emergency tmj/ jaw/ muscle issue. She said she can help me clear my 10+ year tmj pains.
Eric S: This place has the most friendliest staff I have ever seen. It is very clean and fresh but most importantly. They offer the best of the best services I have ever had. I even had a life changing experience with Michelle Rubin during our past life regression session. I feel so free and confident in my life after that session. Thank you so much for the experience and I would recommend any treatment from this place. 10/10 :)
Patti Cobian: Michelle Rubin really helped me reconnect with myself; love what this center is about, would recommend to anyone interested in taking steps to deepen and invest in their well-being.
Mona H: I found the St Louis Wellness Center many years ago. They have changed my life for the better in so many ways. The classes they offer and the counseling they provide. I have also attended the weekend information sessions with Valerie Wells. They address all issues with kindness and compassion. I feel very blessed to have found them. Mona
Bill Lail: Not a good sauna experience. I used the infrared sauna. Wasn't not worth my time. At the end of the 20 minutes session, I barely was sweating. The policy is to allow only ONE session per day. Waste of time.
Jordan Riehn: Professional and relaxing atmosphere with a variety of different services.
Zach Riehn Aka HOGEkage: I think the St. Louis Wellness Center is Great! I attend therapy there and so far it was been a life changing experience. I will continue to go and see through to try and fix the problems at hand. I am also doing Neurofeedback Therapy. It has only been a couple sessions so I have yet to find any measurable changes, but it is definitely a unique and interesting experience. I love the fact that my neuro therapist can bascially scan my brain and get a biofeedback of it to see what sorts of problems I have and then display them on a graph and explain what things means and so forth. You should definitely give this a try!
KWRH Radio: I recently discovered The St. Louis Wellness Center and have been wonderfully amazed at the level of services offered through this facility. The practitioners are highly skilled and work together to create a full range of modalities under one roof. The facility exudes peacefulness, warmth and love. The products that are used are of the highest quality. This high level of professionalism starts at the top with Dr. Gwen Stewart. Congratulations to Dr. Stewart on creating an exceptional health and wellness collaborative. Our community is blessed to have The St. Louis Wellness Center in our neighborhood.
Margaret Mertens: I’ve been going to St. Louis Wellness Center for two years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the services I’ve received. Never a problem.
William Duffin: Willow is incredible.
Brian M: The person I saw was overpriced, 15 min late for the appointment, and refused to provide a receipt for weeks after the appt. Very unresponsive over email, and calling just led to her voicemail.
Susan Gerhard: Atmosphere. Friendliness. Experience.

Emily Hogan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityLove being in this space. Their options for early morning classes are greatly appreciated. An amazing community to be a part of.
stephen bleisch: The best instructors, the best space, the best variety of classes
gary sohn: Great staff, excellent classes.
Jade Conway: Love love love Urban Breath! Best yoga studio in STL.
Jessie Summers: I loved my experience here! The studio is beautiful and clean. We had a private corporate yoga class led by Lindsey who was extremely knowledgeable and nice. I especially appreciate how hard she worked and how patient she was when I was scheduling this because I had to change the times up on her a lot. Also very beginner friendly! I definitely recommend coming here.
Justin Padinske: I split my pants in the one pose but no one noticed. The instructors here are great.
Ilya Bunimovich: This studio is great if you're a beginner or intermediate, but really it's for any yoga enthusiast. I especially enjoy the $5 vinyasa flow on Fridays. Andrew is an excellent instructor: he gives great tips during class and leads you patiently through the practice.
Sean Kilfoy: The teachers are amazing people and the yoga they teach is inspiring.
Dennis Timko (St. Louis Podiatrist): Best yoga studio but wish there was one in the St. Charles area.
Chris Kudelka: Great first experience. I'm looking for a new studio and this one has just the vibe and offerings I'm looking for. Sadly the closest location to Clayton is Dogtown, which has only a select number of classes.

Yoga St Louis: what do users think?
jessrhoward: I have been practicing yoga here for over 1.5 years. I originally found this studio through a Google search, and am so grateful I started going here. This is not a "exercise yoga" class where you just mimic the shapes an instructor is doing at the front of class. This is a class meant to teach you the foundations of the mind/body/breath connection in yoga, the proper form in each asana and how to engage the bones and muscles to practice safely and with intention. The instructor, Bruce, was taught by Iyengar himself. He has a deep knowledge of the body and its mechanics to help each student find relief from pain and learn how they can use Iyengar yoga to improve their health and wellbeing. I highly recommend this studio to anyone completely new to yoga or those wanting to expand their practice.
Karen Wamhoff: I have been studying at Yoga St. Louis for more than fifteen years. Bruce is a highly skilled teacher with advanced knowledge of yoga and physiology. He uses these skills to provide individual attention to students to make yoga safe and accessible no matter their flexibility or skill level. His instruction has been incredibly helpful in dealing with my scoliosis.
Sheri Farber: I have been practicing at Yoga St. Louis for 12 years. Bruce was recommended to me by a friend because I had severe back pain that had left me virtually unable to function. Frankly I was doubtful I’d ever function again but Bruce thought he could help me and convinced me to give it a shot. Bruce is an expert in physiology and can make even the most challenging actions attainable for most people. He understands the body’s compensation mechanisms and how to address issues in a safe way. This was not a miracle cure and took time, and work on my part, but Bruce’s guidance and careful explanations were key to my recovery and to helping me learn to move in safer and more effective ways for my long term health. He is the only person I will let correct/manipulate me when I am having pain. As an added bonus I have learned much about yoga and the importance of the interaction between mind and body to a person’s health and wellness and another way to approach pain and healing. As long as Bruce runs a yoga studio, I will be taking his classes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Genny B: Bruce Roger is a master. He teaches and guides and corrects....doesn't just show poses like most 'gym yoga' classes. Students receive individual attention and improve. Bruce is a rare find.
Stacy Berry: Not only have I practiced yoga with teachers all over the country but I am an experienced yoga teacher. I’ve been practicing with Bruce for about six months. He’s incredible. Not only has he made me a better teacher but I refer my students to him. Anyone who has given him a poor review has likely never actually practiced with him.
J T: I've been going to Yoga St. Louis for four years, I highly recommend it, especially if you have any physical issues: I have scoliosis, and they've shown me several poses that strengthen my back I do at home, it has helped immensely ! Bruce's knowledge and training are incredibly in-depth...FYI Iyengar yoga training is a *lot* longer than typical yoga certifications, including going to India. Yes, some people find Bruce a bit brusque, but IMO it's a reflection of how they teach yoga in India, it's more directive and not so "new age". And it also includes talking about the philosophy behind yoga. Overall the self-awareness and physical benefits I've gotten are amazing, and well worth it!!! Namaste
