David Behlmann: Nice place and a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. Horse & carriage for the bride to be & then after for the bride & groom. Reception hall was adequate for a smaller wedding (100+) guests. Food was good, but not the best I've had at a wedding. Parking lot was a little small but that depends on how many guests. Easy to find, clean and well kept. Circa 1858 buildings were nice and provided a great backdrop for pictures.

Lloyd Wintjen: The Larimore offers very nice scenery/backdrop. The outdoor space is large with room for a lot of people. The reception space is not very spacious. The bar leaves a lot to be desired and options were very limited. I think the bar being improved could add quite a bit to the experience. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant. The photographers(not sure if they are Larimore partners/vendors), were not very pleasant, barking orders and shooing people out of spaces they wanted to use for pictures. I get it, pictures are important...but you could definitely ask people to clear the space politely, as opposed to telling them to "move out of the way". I'm not taking that way from The Larimore in my assessment though, as I'm unsure of whether or not they are a part of The Larimore or were freelance.
Ashley Kutterer: Our wedding day was everything we could of ever dreamed of plus more! Dena made sure our day went smoothly. She was very responsive and helped me work through all the covid stuff. We decided to change our date due to the Saint Louis county restrictions and she helped us with no issues. I highly recommended the larimore. Yemi and Jocelyn Ajibola: The Larimore ripped us off. The owners pretend to be nice but they are shady and don’t actually care about the couples paying for their venue, they just want your money. And in our case they wanted us to pay for their losses during covid that had nothing to do with us. The venue itself is just ok. It’s small and cramped and overpriced for what it is. With the date we chose and our budget it was the best we could do at the time we booked it.The pandemic made it unsafe to have a big wedding and the restrictions made it so they could not accommodate the size wedding we agreed to in the contract, so we tried to move the date of our wedding. They gave us two options: 1. Don’t change the date and pay the full amount even though we were getting less for our money or 2. Pay an additional $1500 to change the date. We knew we were being taken advantage of but we had already paid more than half of our total and they weren’t willing to give a dime back. When we tried to agree to pay extra to move to a new date they changed the terms of our contract so we assumed more risk than before. I guess they thought we were too stupid to read the new contract and they were completely unwilling to change it back to what we already agreed to. We decided to take our business to a better more accommodating venue with more space, prettier surroundings, and better food. We lost what we had already spent but didn’t want to give any more of our money to people like that.
John and Janice Stuhlmann: But of a drive from South St. Louis but beautiful grounds. It was an Outdoor Wedding and it was lovely. The food was good and the service terrific. Definitely check it out. Doesn't look like much from street, however, delightful when you walk around.

K B: We recently had our daughters wedding at the Barnett on Washington. It was simply the most beautiful wedding. The venue is so unique and just wonderful. Vicky and Joe were so helpful, attentive, and just so easy to work with. They wanted our day to be what we wanted and not a cookie cutter event. The tables were set up beautifully. The bartenders were excellent. The valet service was so easy. They made great suggestions for catering, bands, etc. I really just can't say enough great things about this place. Very worth the expense. A true class act. Thank you Joe especially for being there the day of the wedding and making sure everything went well. We never worried about anything that day because Joe took care of it. Sarah Corbett was our photographer and was just wonderful and creative.

Everything we needed in one place was a plus! We had planned to have the wedding outside but had to bring it inside because of the rain. I was not disappointed as the venue inside is so clean and just breath taking for pictures. The bride room downstairs is also a life saver for getting ready. We got so many compliments from friends and family! Thank you Philip for a beautiful wedding venue for my daughter!

Decent venue, but I think they need speakers installed so when doing the wedding the sound isn't all from behind the attendees; could also lower the need for the music to be so loud, even younger people were saying it was too loud. The meal was ok, but the fish was over cooked (dry) and the chicken had a weird coating and the spinach inside was too mushy for some people. Overall we felt pretty safe going to/from car which is great considering the problems in the city.

Nichole Schnelting: I just had my wedding at WOW this past weekend and it was perfect. Emily was so helpful in the planning process. She answered all of my questions and emails promptly and she was very knowledgeable on everything WOW. The venue is so beautiful, it truly sells itself. The event went very smoothly. We were ready for dinner earlier than scheduled and that was no problem for the staff at WOW. They served quickly and I didn’t even notice them clearing the tables. Everything was quick and very clean. An added bonus that was very appreciated by myself and my guest was the shuttle that ran between the venue, the reserved parking lot, and the hotel I had blocked. It gave me peace of mind to know that my guests were getting to their hotel safely. I would definitely recommend WOW to anyone looking for an event venue!

Kelly Kearbey: We had an excellent experience at WOW! The venue itself is just gorgeous! We were very happy with the food and received lots of compliments from our guests. Our bartender was super friendly. The free shuttle back to our hotel, where many of our guests stayed, was a nice bonus that WOW offers.The only negative thing we can say is that we thought Emily, the sales and event coordinator, was very unprofessional. She would talk poorly to us about people we had hired like our photographer, DJ, etc. I would leave worried about who I hired when in fact, they turned out to be nothing short of amazing. She told us the entertainment group we hired would not be welcomed in the future. This is despite their excellent reviews. She based this on past experiences as our wedding had not taken place yet. Not being able to have them, would be a big loss for future weddings. I even pulled extra tip money out of my purse. That's how much we loved them. While searching for someone to do our cake, one place stated they don't do WOW weddings. It was another business with excellent reviews. We couldn't help but wonder after both of those things if Emily was the problem. She would talk negatively about other weddings to us. Saying things like, "I will be avoiding this wedding". She would make me feel bad about decisions that we were making. For example, I said that I wanted my wedding party's significant others at the head table. She responded by saying, "I don't think it looks good when you have people in normal clothes at the head table." We just felt like she was so negative and left us wondering if she was burnt out on doing weddings. She did not make us feel good during our exciting time that's for sure! She actually had us worrying more than necessary.Overall, our wedding turned out beautiful! Everything went smoothly the day of. All things considered, I would recommend this venue.

We had our wedding on the 7th floor which was the perfect vibe and cost for us! Working with Emily was fantastic - she was so helpful and informative and very communicative! The food was amazing and we were so happy with the package options we had - we loved the way everything looked and flowed! We also attended one of their decor shows, which I highly recommend - it was so fun, provided great inspiration, and we got some discounts from it! If you are looking for a great venue for both ceremony & reception or even just reception, we highly recommend Windows on Washington!

Doug Crocker: We only dropped off our daughter and her boyfriend for a wedding they were invited to, seemed like a nice place from what we could see from the outside.
Jennifer Korman: I had my wedding planned at Lumen during this crazy covid time. They were lovely in the initial phases of planning and always worked within our budget and to fit the vision we had. Ultimately, we had to postpone our wedding (that was scheduled at the end of Aug) very early because we had a lot of family coming internationally. Lumen was beyond understanding and incredible throughout the whole process. They really blew me away, especially as I heard horror stories from other friends and their venues. Every staff member kept in quick communication with me even while they were working on reduced hours. They made the process of changing the wedding so seamless and truly put their customers first. I would HIGHLY recommend this company as an incredible, honest business that puts its couples first.

The space itself is straightforward, elegant, but also adaptable; it has a number of features (shout out to the awesome "niche wall") that help to customize the space for a welcoming, personal touch. I love the openness of the bar, the flow of the upstairs space we used for cocktail hour, and of course, the luminous window treatments with custom uplighting which inspire the venue's name. The Lumen team, from our first tour of the space, to the week after the big day, was professional, responsive, and truly helpful with every detail. We would highly recommend for any event.

This mansion venue was not only gorgeous and a perfect location, it made our wedding truly feel like a celebration! The real highlight of it all is Mark, the owner and host. He is an expert on weddings, truly offering advice and support BEYOND expectation. He was always on top of everything before I could remember and start to stress! He did even better as a "day-of-coordinator" than anyone I worked with. I would not have changed a single thing and this venue went beyond our wildest dreams. We wish we could do it all again!

Keith Jefferson: The Karl Everett Jefferson Memorial Scholarship Fund held it's first major fundraiser here at Bluffs and we must say that Mark and his staff provided first class service. The venue and view that comes with it was awespiring to our guest and the service they received just took the event to the next level. If you're looking for the unconventional space outside of a regular banquet hall this is the place for you.

I'm still hearing such nice things from them about what a great time they had, but most of the feedback has been related to how incredible the venue was. Mark knows what he's doing-- just trust him to do his thing, and you won't have anything to worry about. He has an amazing group of people working there. You'll know exactly how to prepare for the day. The facilities are top-notch. The grounds are fantastic and delightful to explore. And the view of the river-- that was my favorite part. I love seeing it in the background of our wedding pictures. I thought my wedding day would be stressful, but it was the best day of my life. We all had so much fun. Liz Parker: Leading up to our day everything was good. We booked our venue 17 months in advance to make sure everything was on track for our day. We had our tasting, multiple calls and communication and everything was wonderful. We had our final call, and everything was set to go. We showed up the 2 hours early to set up, and no one was there to let us in. Thankfully, the chef was able to let us in so we could quickly set up. A few flukes in between that could be forgiven, but at the end of the reception no last call was called, our DJ was confused when the manager was telling us we had to get out at that moment. I understand staying on time, and leaving at our time, but when you are the bride/groom and have no phone (or last call, called) you have no clue what time it is. My husband and I weren't even allowed our last dance. In our exit pictures the manager literally has her hands full of all of our stuff right behind us in our pictures. All of our decorations were thrown in random boxes by our friends and family to get us out of the hall as fast as we could. I wish we had a better experience, especially since the food was so good, and every experience up until that point was nice. When you pay thousands and thousands of dollars, you expect to have everything you want...even if that means 5 mins over for the MINIMUM of a last dance.

Covid came and the venue called me to reschedule my date. Possibly months away. We didn't want to wait that long so we asked for our $800.00 back that we had put down already. Their response was we're not issuing any refunds because we're taking a loss as well. So you keep people's money that you haven't done any service for?? Because THEY moved our date we had to suffer for it. Even though this was in 2020, it still bothers me tremendously.

As always, Kim did a fantastic job managing our event as did the servers and of course Dawn, who not only hand carved the beef but prepared everything as well! The food was delicious! (Rave reviews from everyone!) Tina went above and beyond working the bar! She was great! (Even walked around during dinner to re-fill a few wines! (one being mine! 😊) I worked with Karen in planning the event and she was amazing! She was aware of every detail required when catering at our venue.Again, thank you for all that you did to make the night go seamless! It was perfect! Haris Huskic: Beautiful place although it's definitely haunted as I've had paranormal experiences there growing up as a kid in that neighborhood. The owner of the property and the house, lake, and cemetery also says the place is definitely haunted including his own home down the hill a bit. Have seen personally figures walking past windows when noone should have been there at night. Had even been handcuffed by police one night thankfully the security cameras proved we never stepped on property and that some how the front door had unlocked and opened it self ajar which when a neighbor saw us just sitting there at end of drive way talking, they assumed we were up to no good. On our walk home police detained us and almost gave us a breaking and entering charge thankfully Greg, creg, or Mike I can't remember the owners name came to my rescue and confirmed to the cops that I and my friends would never trespass and that he knows me personally. Poor swan on that lake growing up I always felt bad that it's mate died.

Caleb: We used The Coronado for our Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception. Simply put, it was THE BEST decision we could have made. Tasha and Lindsey were so, so, so, SOOO patient and helpful and brought my Wife's vision to life in a way we couldn't have even imagined. The Venue itself is stunning but with all the wedding touches, it truly transforms into the perfect place for a wedding. Small, but important things, like free coat-check/valet service, spacious bathrooms, plenty of TVs, and more ensured our guests were comfortable and well-taken care of throughout our wedding. I don't know if there's a better wedding venue in the St. Louis Area, and I doubt there are better people to work with than Lindsey/Tasha and Butler's Pantry.
Your Story Photo Cinema: We've photographed weddings and events at the Coronado for over 13 years and the staff have always been amazing to work with. Such a classic St Louis wedding venue, perfect for the bride that wants a fairytale wedding day!

My cousin stays on the 9th floor and just went the whole summer with no air and now it’s fall heat doesn’t work either. She calls the leasing office in front of me the lady didn’t care only cared about a $30 late fee she owes. Can’t make this up

If you plan on living here, expect the place to come absolutely disgusting. My boyfriends place had red mold all around the tub and the entire place was just extremely dirty. Yet, they pay around $1000 to live there.

We booked Wild Carrot before we had even moved to St. Louis, but we knew we were moving to the Shaw neighborhood and were hooked on the perfect aesthetic and supporting a local business. We booked and then moved to St. Louis and were amazed with how personable Laura and Casey were- they would randomly see us walking by or at neighborhood meetings and remember who we were and that we were getting married there. The whole team including Grace and Marie were attentive and always willing to answer any question we had. We did a signature drink tasting with Luc who also worked our wedding and were just blown away. We have had multiple guests tell us it was by far the best open bar they’ve ever experienced at a wedding (and we agree). We truly had the most perfect night and we owe that to Wild Carrot.
