Soup Dumplings STL: what do users think?
zach cates: I’d been there a while back and the dumplings were amazing. I went recently and my partner and I found them inedible. Not sure why the quality dropped so exponentially but we couldn’t even finish our meals. Won’t be returning.Food: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Anna Nguyen-Barrett: I usually order the chicken and the beef soup dumplings and the side of cucumber salad. It’s always made to order. The dumplings are piping hot and scrumptious. You need to have patience when you come here on a busy time because it can take time to get your food order. The lady who takes your order is always friendly.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

That being said it was one of the best surprises I've had in recent memories as far as food goes.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Crab and Pork Dumplings …More
Andy Reagan: Amazing food! We went because we saw the video posted on social media and it does not disappoint! Definitely worth the trip out here! I am definitely coming back!!!!
Rico Ramos: The soup dumplings here are the best I've ever tasted... even better than the ones in Chicago's Chinatown. Lady at the counter took orders, brought food to our table, and cleaned up. Tables and floors weren't too clean, but the food here is the bomb. TIP: get bubble tea at Cubed Tea Studio next door and get the soup dumplings here. Get them TO GO. You're welcome.

Melissa Cubing: The dumplings are great! They're bigger than what I'm used to, so that's cool. We weren't sure if we order from the table or the counter, tho. Turns out you order at the counter. And then we didn't realize we had an order number to keep track of. It was a little awkward. I guess if there were clearer instructions about where to order it'd smooth things out.
Jeremy Ward: It's all in the name. Chicken is my favorite but pork is a close second. If you think you have enough orders you should probably just go ahead and add one more as you will always end up feeling like you are fighting over the last dumpling!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Crab Dumplings, Beef Dumplings, Dim Sum, Cucumber Salad …More

Lu Lu Seafood & Dim Sum: what do users think?
Lorraine Harrison: The food is ALWAYS wonderful and YUMMY here 🤤Vegetarian options: ManyParking: Lots availableWheelchair accessibility: Easy access

Douglas Clemens: My usual go-to at Lu Lu Seafood and Dim Sum is the Crispy Eggplant, but this weekend I took a detour into their Dim Sum menu. I had a variety of dishes including turnip cakes and spicy tofu, both delivering a delightful blend of flavors and textures. The sticky rice in lotus leaf was a standout, its earthy flavor complemented nicely by the savory garlic green beans. The meal ended on a high note with the egg custard tart, its creamy filling encased in a buttery pastry. All in all, the visit was a flavorful culinary adventure I'm eager to repeat.
Nicole Solorzano: Great experience!!! Visited this place while on a trip and was not disappointed. Food was fresh and well prepared and had great flavor. Loved the experience of being able to see the food before selecting. Service was excellent.Recommended dishes Roast Duck …More
Nujkhiag: Food wasn't that good, and the waiter literally asked, "what about the tip?" We didn't avoid tipping, we just needed change first.
Ramanda Brockett: Our entrees were good and hot. However, mine had very little veggies (looked like noodles for 3 and chicken for 2). The "dim sum" items are not fresh nor worth $6 per plate. They look and taste like they're made from frozen and just sent through a steamer in the back of the restaurant. We did not finish a few of our orders for those reasons. Service was great, although they forgot my friends soup order and didn't bring it until the end of the meal after we had asked about it several times. Good family atmosphere and lots of large tables around us were having a great time. I would say it's fine, just avoid the dim sum items.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with kids of all ages were having a good time.

Paula Elliott (ExPatTexPhat): We ordered takeout and it was not good at all. Their was no sauce for the pork dumplings. About half the noodles in my pan fried noodle with shrimp entree were cooked right and the other half was like eating straw. Husband's sweet and sour chicken was chewy and the sauce lacked flavor. I am so disappointed because we had high hopes for this place. They did do a great job of putting our order together very quickly and it was delivered astonishingly well by uber eats driver.
Kimberly Rueter: The food is always delicious. Make reservations for Sunday as it fills up quicklyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sesame Balls, Seaweed Salad, BBQ, Steamed Shrimp Dumpling, Fried Crab Rangoon 蟹角, Shrimp Ball, Hot Garlic Green Beans …More

Carla Chung: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Alfredo Jahn: I remember liking this spot but had not been in several years. We ordered the spicy crispy chicken (chongqing), which was a small portion and not very crispy. The Chinese broccoli rabe was tasty but underdone. The rice was clearly old, mushy, clumped and dried out, not flushy and hot. The mapo tofu was good. The pork belly was fine, but again a small portion. We were seated immediately and the service was not bad. But in the future, I would rather have waited in line elsewhere.
Coty “Balboa” Hoyle: I'm going to give two and they are only getting two because of the Food. Besides that the parking lot is all messed up BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE A CAR AND IT'S DARK! This things are massive sink holes. So the old lady that does the Takeout is very Rude!!!! It's bad you try to be nice and she just keeps going. Making little side comments and demanding me to do things. I'll be taking my business elsewhere because of her.
Benjamin Hull: 圣路易斯最地道的中餐!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Shawn Jones: DELIVERY GRADE: C- (Previous A+)Changed to C- because the main delivery lady has been being rude to multiple rideshare drivers. Also, she seems to be so much in a hurry that she occasionally forgets to give items out and also she swiped my phone for delivery without my consent. Please WAIT before confirming the delivery and be patient.
Mary Trujillo: Love coming here for dim sum. All of the food we have tried has been amazing. Definitely frequent this place as often as we can!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Private Kitchen: what do users think?
Camille English: The duck was delicious
Adeola Adewale: I tried both the chicken and shrimp n cheese soup dumplings. They were okay, nothing really write home about. The ambiance was okay as well. I think this may be a better place to take out rather than dine inFeatures: Not a lot of social distance.
Luna Massage: 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Tony McLaughlin: Private Kitchen serves some of the best food you can find in St. Louis. 5 years ago I took my future wife on one of our first dates here. We had Peking duck and steamed fish, which were both to die for. A little over a year later we returned, and, while enjoying same delicious Peking duck, I asked her to marry me. Just a couple of weeks ago, we returned for our anniversary dinner, our very first dine-in restaurant experience since the beginning of 2020. It probably goes without saying we got the Peking duck again. The first time we ate that duck it was a transcendent experience. Years later, somehow, it was even BETTER than the first time. Private Kitchen has a special place in our hearts and we are grateful for our wonderful experiences there.
Leo Ward: So sad I waited so long to come here! You cannot go wrong with any of the food. If lost ask them for recommendations.
Kershee J: Yummy and authentic! The owners are nice and friendly! We had a great time. Thank you!
Gina: This is one of those special occasion places you go to. The dishes are presented beautifully and also the owners are extremely nice. Really enjoyed their pork XLB and kung pao chicken. Be aware, the dishes tend to be on the sweet side and portion sizes are small and prices are high.
Jason Meyer: Scallops were absolutely amazing, peking duck was phenomenal, definitely recommend the beef with chefs sauce, and also had the lamb which was also very delicious. Great experience!!!
MajorMic: The dumplings are amazing, the lady who took my order was fantastic and gave me superior service. She made an extra effort to make sure I had vinegar, soy sauce, and chop sticks with my order. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is the price. 6 dumplings for $8.70 is a bit pricey in my opinion.
Mingshao Zhang: This place is just wonderful!
Vivien: The Peking duck is really good, must order! The chili fish looks very spicy but is not, it has very nice chili fragrant but it won’t numb your taste. We have tried more than these dishes but we eat it too fast and forgot to take photos. This is a good Chinese restaurant in St. Louis. The chef is from Shanghai so some dishes are more sweet taste than others. You have to know Chinese food so you won’t end up eating all sweet taste dishes.
Amanda Cao: Because the restaurant is small (serves 3 tables max at a time) and you order in advance, the service is almost immediate starting at your reserved time, and every dish is made individually with a lot of attention. Tastes like the best Chinese home-cooked food, and presentation is often nice as well (like the smoked salmon pictured). Some favorites of mine are the crispy beef, the squirrel fish, and the soup dumplings with crab meat.
Thevuthasan Senthuran: The food here is excellent. Do need to reserve a table ahead of time and confirm the reservation day before/ day of.
Christopher Hall: Very good food.
Meiling Chen: Very bad experience, tried to book the table one week earlier which is in their timeframe. However text them again few days later, they just found all kinds of excuse to say we didn’t get the message, they definitely did because they replied my message. However, will never go to this place. There are so many good Chinese food in the town, it’s just not worth it to spend all the time arguing they are lying about the text messages or not. Bad services and terrible attitude!!!
Emil Peter: You'll never Chinese food this good unless you go to China! This place is amazing!!!
Andy Martello: Soup dumpling are incredible
Andrew Cook: Apparently reservations only, though there isn't a sign or anything.
Andrew Portman: Wasn't really what I expected. Definitely a family business, kids were eating at a table across from us, & just kinda wondering around. I was with my parents, & my father knows alot about Chinese & Vietnamese food, seeing as part of his law practice was immigration law. He has dealt with a great number of great chef's. Overall, I think it didn't stack up to our expectations. However, prices were very reasonable
蔡本: high price, generate taste, little amount of food and bad service
Diana Haun: This is a great place, food is good and staff friendly. Very clean. Great food!!

Corner 17: what do users think?
MG VAN BEURDEN: Increase your portion sizes - disappointed by the small portions now being served here as takeaway meals to customers. Photograph taken of your small sweet and sour pork serving as proof. No vegetables, add on for rice etc. I wish I could say I had eaten half of this before posting this review and taking a picture. Nope. That’s the size you get folks. Hopefully someone reads this from your organization and says “you know what we have been cheap with our portions, let’s provide paying customers with good quality at a fair price, with fair portions”.

Kirin Pax: The shaved noodles. That's all.But also the boiled beef. But also the boba tea.Dang now I'm hungry again.
Josh McCown: Tasty food and you can watch your noodles being made in-house. Service was a little off, as one of my party's entrees arrived just after appetizers and the other about 20 minutes later.
Rishi Joshi: I was meeting a colleague for lunch at this restaurant. I didn't want to deal with parking on busy delmar street, so parked on parking lot behind Starbucks, it was 2 mins walk to the restaurant. We ordered all vegan food- vegan bau / dumplings, carrots fried dumpling, Spicy wood ear mushroom salad , Mala Soup with hand stretched noodles was amazing. Everything was awesome, we were so full that we could drink the bubble tea , but will definitely . The ambiance is very good. The service and staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for all the dishes to be vegan - the server was very helpful.

Khang Mai: I’ve been here at least 10 times, I have to say the food is pretty average. Chinese food in NYC is vastly superior. For example, a simple dish like stir fried hand pulled noodles tasted amazing in NYC, but here, it has absolute no flavor. There is no wok hei (for all of their dishes as well) and I believe it’s only flavored by oyster sauce. The noodles just taste like boiled/blanched ingredients and sauce stir fried together for a couple seconds. The noodle soup here is pretty bland as well. I wouldn’t bother with the homemade noodles here. The Dandan noodles aren’t so great either. Dandan noodles at China Bistro in the Pan Asian Market is really good in comparison to corner 17s.My favorite items are the mala stir fry (only because it’s pretty spicy), wonton soup, chili oil wonton, and their pan fried dumplings (favorite is original and the beet one). The cold chili noodles are pretty good as well. Other dishes that are tasty time to time are deep fried pork rib, sweet and sour fish, and salt n pepper shrimp. These are all fried dishes so I feel like you cant really go wrong. Some other dishes that I feel let down by are: mapo tofu and black bean pork rib. The flavor of those two dishes are just not there and I don’t like how they use the same pork rib from the noodle soup since it’s way too tender. I can say the same about many other dishes but there’s too many to talk about. The sticky rice Shumai are kind of odd and I wish they would just make normal pork/shrimp Shumai. The bao buns are ok, I just prefer Wei Hongs bao buns more for example. The chili flake oil at the table is pretty good in flavor but not too spicy. Only complaint is that they do not allow you to take it Togo (they only give the oil with out the flakes togo)The bubble tea is ok/decent, but not amazing. I feel like the quality of ingredients is somewhat lacking when considering the price point. (I run a bubble tea shop)All in all, I’ll go back sometimes, but it’s not something I crave a lot because a lot of flavor is missing.
Nicole M: went here for a lunch with a friend and was not disappointed. the staff was friendly and we got our food quickly even though they were busy. the boba was good but i think it’s price a bit high compared to other boba shops around town. would come back again though.Vegetarian options: few vegetarian options, wish they had more.
Amelia Allen: Singapore noodles was my favorite thing from everything we sampled. The dumplings are also phenomenal. AuthenticVegetarian options: Options for all restrictionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy feee, vegan, vegetarian options
Kevin Bowman: For our family we discovered Corner 17 during the pandemic, and have been huge fans even since. Everything blows us away. The Mapo Tofu and Wontons in Chili Oil are our absolute favorites though!
Grace Chung: Above and Beyond Service!!Leo had answered my calls regarding bringing a party of 10 for my son's Birthday. Upon arrival, Leo greeted us immediately and asked if I needed my cake refrigerated. I said, "Yes." We waited a bit for the big circular table to become clear. They kept us posted. When they brought us to the table, there was a stack of plates with forks and stacks of napkins for our cake, and all the waters. They took our order and accommodated every request: a new dish for my mother because she found hers too spicy (she is Senior and had not paid attention to the pepper symbols on the menu!), an unsealed boba cup because my son does not use straws, small bowls rather than plates because the ice cream cake had started to melt... They never rushed us and gifted a platter of Mango shaved ice for Kai-Ran's birthday! Jason our server was always quick to offer services, offering to take our pics when he saw us starting that, and did so from several angles voluntarily... The hosts Cliff, Kelsy, busser Dominic, all were gracious, responsive and helpful! The service, along with the delicious, authentic food and comfortable seating and welcoming atmosphere made my family event SPECIAL and memorable! Thank Corner 17 so much 😃‼️

Wei Hong Bakery: what do users think?
corrina sanders: I have been coming here since I was in high school and I can say this place has the best food that I’ve tasted and has stayed consistent.
no no: Really good. Good prices, filling, complex flavors. Mapo tofu tasted like it was made by mom, and the sesame balls had a crunchy skin and a bouncy chewy inside with smooth semi-sweet filling. Perfect for a treat!
M N: Seriously incredible American Chinese with some traditional Chinese baked goods as well. Don’t miss out on the chat siu bao. And the best potstickers I’ve ever had.
TNisia Dunn: Very rude service and the food, well I've had better. Won't be going back at all!
Juan Chaparro: We’ve been eating at Wei Hong for over 20 years, even after leaving St. Louis, and it remains one of the “must-do’s” when we visit. By far our favorite Cantonese restaurant. Our favorites:- Salt and pepper squid - I get this dish at nearly every Cantonese restaurant I try and this remains the best version I’ve ever had. Crispy, with nice soft onions/peppers and just the right amount of salt/pepper.- Hong sue tofu - char siu, bok choy, fried tofu in a brown sauce hot pot.- Beef with crispy noodles- chopped beef with riceAnd of course, have to finish it off with sesame balls or bao.
CHING-SHIANG Young: Arrive early, many items selling out fast.
Riley Goodwin: Terrible service. Rude
I M: Good food. Excellent bakery items. No dine in available.
mxsty: Been going here since I was a kid, the bakery is always great especially when fresh in the morning!
Sunhye Chung: There aren’t many options for bakery and the cashier was very unfriendly. The display price wasn’t renew. I don’t think I am going to there again.
Andy Jawa: Owner is very unfriendly.Ordered roast pork, skin wasn't crunchy, and too salty. Asked for sauce, she said it's extra charge. It's first time I see a restaurant does this.
Lucas Yochum: Wei Hong is an icon of South Grand, and for a single reason: the food is amazing. You can't go wrong with having a meal here!
Roberta Black: This place is amazing. The food is phenomenal! They offer Peking Duck with a preorder and they have roasted pork that is delicious. On my next visit I'll try the traditional baked goods. They have a custard pastry that I cannot wait to try. It's located across from Jay's International, a beloved neighborhood market for its extensive selection of international cuisine. I think dine in is closed. I originally got delivery. Try the Yang Chow Rice and the double meat Chow Fun. Today is more Yang. I can't decide if the scrumptious pork is better as is or should I add it to say a mess of Greens. Asian traditional meets African American Soul food. Always a beautiful cultural experience. ❤️
liuyi chen: 外卖叫了三拼饭,没有送餐具。烤鸭不错,烧腊超级咸,白切鸡是酸的😡Ordered a delivery from here, delivered without fork or chopsticks. The roasted goose was good, but the rests were terrible. The pork was extremely salty and the chicken has a sour taste just like it’s gone bad.
Cameron Pugh: Fantastic. There are no other words.
Jenn Simmons: Hands down the best Chinese food ive ever had. And the staff is super cheery and nice
Cynthia West: Prices are inconsistent. The food is great but I often feel like I'm getting ripped off and that's why I don't eat there often. The service is also often discourteous and grumpy. I hope this place can make it given that prices are unfair.
Camille Claire: Literally the best Cantonese in town. Period.
Aggie Lee: 一次能吃掉半只,你说好不好吃?✌️
Hammer Cat: We love us some dumplings!
Kelsey Ernst: Best Chinese in STL. Actually make food spicy when asked and poke buns are amazing!
