Billy Woods: First time here for me and it won’t be the last. Our waiter Richard was fabulous to start out with. Very attentive and very much on top of our drinks. The mushrooms we had was very good and the sauce was delicious. I had the fried chicken and wow. I absolutely loved the chicken breast. I am normally not a white meat eater, but I won’t hesitate to eat there white chicken. My mom ordered the chicken wings and wow they was huge and delicious. My wife ordered the chicken tenders and they was awesome and my daughter ordered chicken fried chicken and she loved it. My dad ordered the fried chicken also and he was pleasantly pleased. All in all, outstanding.

Just Sturgis: Basic down home cooking. Good food at a good price. What makes this place stand out is the atmosphere, the clientele and the service. This place is familiar. It's comfortable. It's fun. I love how local it feels, like some of these people have been eating here for decades. Awesome vibe. This is not white linen tablecloths, this is beer and beef! Johnathan Dennis: So they forgot one of my meals, and after 50 minutes of waiting i ended up with old chicken, unseasoned fries, and bland mac and cheese. $50 down the drain again, will not be going again, This one in STL has been garbage 2 times too many.Edit: The manager jumped down my throat when i called to ask why it wasn't fresh after a 50 min wait, but after me offering to bring her the cold chicken to feel herself she said she would remake the entire meal. So at least there was some accountability.

As we waited multiple to go and door dash orders were processed and given out, while actual customers were waiting for their orders. Myself and another table left this is unacceptable more accountability should be taken to meet customer demands. I’m not going back!

Amaris Peters: Was a bit confused when my dinner date and I tried to go indoors, only to find that the entirety of the interior building was the kitchen. Apparently they only serve for curbside pickup and takeout. However a friendly hostess who was taking orders out front showed us a paper menu and encouraged us to order online for pickup, which we did. The food arrived promptly to us waiting out front and accurate to what we ordered. Our dishes (my companion got the chicken bibimbap and I got the sizzling beef) included an array of delicious and colorful ingredients, packaged neatly for takeout, and proved to be a filling and delightful customer experience. The food and friendliness will definitely secure our decision to return in the future!

Howard Jones: Kounter Kulture proved a delightful surprise. Small restaurant, huge flavor, sophisticated cooking and presentation. The descriptions of the food on the menu didn't come close to doing it justice. For instance, what was described as an "Heirloom Tomato Salad" surely had one of the finest salad dressings we'd ever consumed, even compared to some of the Michelin Star restaurants we've eaten at.Even the dipping sauces for such things as the shrimp appetizer had been mixed with great care, and kicked the food up several levels.The main courses were incredible as well. The meats were well-seasoned before they'd been cooked, appropriately (salmon was clearly prepared differently from the chicken), with delightfully fresh vegetables.If we didn't live so far away (we visited from out of state) we'd surely be returning next week.Our server was incredibly kind to us, and when I mentioned that we'd gotten drenched while visiting the nearby botanical garden, she offered towels and threw in some extra food for the long wet trip back home.It was an experience we won't forget, and we will make Kounter Kulture a must-stop the next time we find ourselves in St. Louis.

erin jackson: We had a family event a couple weeks prior to our visit. Someone brought chicken wi gs and tenders from Porters. We tried it and liked it. So we decided to try dinner. We got two appetizers the fried okra and fried mushrooms both were crispy and perfect. You seldom get the with either of those items. We also both got the chicken tenders meals The tenders which are actually half the breast meat were crispy on the outside but juicy and not dried out. You get 4 large tenders Cole slaw another side and a roll. The price was awesome also. A fantastic experience!

Peter B: I love this new BBQ joint in Tower Grove South.I picked up a large order for my family consisting of pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. All amazing bbq and not smothered in sauces. The smoke flavor comes out great. The pulled pork was the star of the show but you can't go wrong with anything here.Richard is a gentleman and an excellent pit master. I look forward to meeting Willie one day soon.

Mary W: I attended a baby shower in Columbia IL this past weekend, and it was catered by Willie’s. We had the smoke beef brisket and pulled pork, and both were completely amazing! The macaroni and cheese was pretty good, too - but definitely took second to the smoked meats! Usually smoked meats bother my stomach, but this did not. I was delighted to see a local St. Louis company cater across the river. I guess Illinois doesn’t have a good BBQ place and had to come to Willie’s. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant! An epitome of “yum.”
Chady Xxx: I’m not sure if the family members are giving reviews about this spot but it was the worst BBQ I’ve had ever. The Mac and Cheese as you can see was definitely missing the cheese and the white sauce tasted like vinegar and Mayo mixed. The “Jambalaya” was not cooked nor flavored properly. The ribs had NO flavor. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS SPOT.

Taylor P: There’s a distinct difference between family bbq and restaurant bbq, and Willie’s feels like family. I tried the restaurant while visiting St. Louis and the RIBS FALL OFF THE BONE. I kid you not. The ribs are great with and without their variety of sauce options. As a person that loves ribs, I know I will be back again… the next time I visit STL.I regret not taking pictures, but the flavor is forever engrained in my memory.

We will definitely revisit if we are back in town. Awesome jambalaya! Fantastic rib and pulled pork. Their chicken and brisket was gone by the time we arrived (so hurry on in if you want good food!)

We've never been to Canes, but it was the only place around.I dislike white chicken meat & especially tenders or fingers because they're often very dry. But NOT these, they were excellent! The Cane's sauce was really good and the fries were hot and tasty.The restaurant itself was very clean, a decent amount of parking and they have a drive through. Hannah Stoller: First time at a Raising Cane's. Ordered a kids meal and the box combo. The breading on the chicken is good, but I was disappointed that chicken fingers were the only option. Fries are trash. The cold fries at Busch stadium are way better. The canes sauce is good but not enough flavor besides mayo. The atmosphere at this Raising Cane's is not good. It is absolutely filthy!!!
