St. Louis Union Station Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton: what do users think?
Jerry Pfeifer: Great place to visit going for another tour to saint Louis Union station this week 💕 see you there 💋
Melissa Hendrickson: Food & drinks: Good food 😋
Jason H: Great historical building with lots to do. Had a great time and loved the train theme. Had a couple of housekeeping issues. The people were very friendly. A lot of activities within walking distance as well.Nearby activities: St louis cardinals, blues, and soccer teams are all close. The aquarium is right there, ferris wheel, activites, city museum is also close, the arch is just about a mile or so away.Walkability: You don't really have to leave but there is plenty of things to see and do within a mile or so walk.Food & drinks: There are quite a few options, but there is potential for a lot more here.

Bryan Stockton: The rooms are not as modern as most places but we chose this place because of location to the hockey arena. The adjacency to the aquarium and other attractions were also nice.It is definitely a unique building with tons of character. If you are looking for a room only, I would probably find something better and cheaper elsewhere.
David Dick: Hotel is very nice and clean. My family enjoyed the heated pool. The light show in the main hall is amazing.Rooms: Clean, well furnished, comfortable bed, spaciousNearby activities: Union Station activities.Safety: Plenty of hotel staff and securityWalkability: Very close to city stadium, local dining, and attractions .Food & drinks: Good foodNoteworthy details: Very classical hotel with very modern amenities

Melissa Hale: Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.Food & drinks: We ordered appetizers and drinks. They were prompt and delicious.Noteworthy details: We arrived and our reservation on orbitz didn't show. We were tired and I was in the verge of tears. The person checking us in was si gracious and was able to get us a room at a discount. She also comped our parking and breakfast. Angad Arts Hotel: what do users think?
Stephanie Renz: Arts district. Very avante gard. Staff very helpful and willing to help. PS lobby is on the 12th floor. All rooms are King.Nearby activities: Right in the middle of the Art district. Fox Theater right across the street. Several restaurants and SLU right in the area
Kloe Duncan: Only giving five stars so this can be at the top. My group was super excited to go to the rooftop bar and the bartender, Courtney was so rude to my group. We ordered a charcuterie board, and a couple drinks. 40 minutes later no charcuterie board, and no drinks. We hadn’t been checked on once. Finally after an hour were asked how everything is going and we mentioned the board. She says the kitchen was now closed but it was clear that she forget to put our order in. Im and understanding person but this was just horrible service all around. This was not because she was busy as she stood behind the bar laughing and talking with a customer there the entire time.
Wendy McKim: The rooms were very nice! We got a suite so it was really big and spacious! The hotel is very neat and it's a very cool concept! We got the green room. I like all the artwork around the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms were pretty dirty! The shower floor had a little blue spots of mildew all over it. The mirrors and surfaces were just cloudy and dirty! We had asked room service for some mosh racks because we were only given one. We were in our room with the do not disturb sign on our door and we were working up by the maid coming into our bedroom! All in all, it was a good experience and the hotel is really close to some good things! The neighborhood is good too!
Dave Erickson: Weird room layout. Tiny bathroom eclipsed by huge dining area with big table with seating for 6. Several large kitchen cupboards and drawers all completely empty. Generally lacking in amenities, no washcloths, no vending machines. no bar soap, no ice on our floor, and no blanket on the bed. Restaurant and rooftop bar very overpriced. $25 each for simple breakfast. $12 for a half glass of domestic wine. Elevator floors were sticky from spilled liquids. Garbage bags sat in hallway all day. Location is very good to downtown attractions. Management should forget about art and concentrate on hospitality.Walkability: Walking distance to Fox Theater, Circus Flora, and area restaurants.
D E: This was probably the coolest, most interesting hotel we have EVER stayed at! The concept of choosing the color of the room is very fun and interesting. The decor of the rooms, hallways, lobby and public spaces is very cool and trendy! Room was not huge, but certainly large enough, super cute, clean and perfect! Comfortable bed, Nicely updated, beautiful bathroom as well! Our room also had a great view of the arch! We went to the rooftop bar with some local family and it was a great spot to hang out and the drinks were fantastic! Also felt very SAFE, gated parking, separate guest elevators that required your room key to operate. Will definitely stay here again. We were going to the symphony at Powell hall and it was right next door!
Sara Line Frisk: Centered amidst the vibrant arts 🎭 district of St. Louis, and proximal to the SLU campus + FOX, the Angad Arts Hotel offers a safe, artsy, and entertaining visitor experience to passerby’s and city goers alike.Upon arrival, one must head to the 12th floor to check-in, and while there are small signs, it is a bit confusing which can make one feel a little put off and could benefit by larger signage. Though, there is plenty of art surrounding the entry way and the lobby, so it feels like it balances out. The receptionist service was fair and not as welcoming, but we made our way to our room - the blue room - with ease. The rooms: Each room has a unique color to match ones feeling - and we choose blue for freedom and peace. Candidly, the aesthetic feels a bit dated, left over from the late 2010s Instagramable rooms trend, however it is, nonetheless unique. As for positives, the view out to the city is impressive with large windows, the room is spacious, and complimentary coffee. Though the hotel is newer, renovated in 2018, the furniture and walls were showing their age, plastic and bright paint gets scuffed easily, clearly. Carpets were fraying a little. The TV and bathroom mirror were not polished, some streak marks left behind. Additionally the sliding bathroom door did not close. No USB outlets (just plug in) by the bed.All of these things are not anything to complain too much about but, the supremely negative quality was the dust. The night stand, lamp, and mini bar were coated in a layer of dust enough to run one’s finger through it which is a bit off putting. Notably, there IS an air vent above so it could be that it accumulates…however there is such a thing as air duct cleaning. The excuse at the front desk was the hotel was a renovation of an older building, and that they have received multiple complaints, however, clearly they have yet to remedy the issue. (We have stayed in numerous other renovated hotels…so it seems a poor excuse). The rooftop bar: This is worthy of a visit even if you are not staying here. The views of the sunset 🌅 are incredible, the bar staff are knowledgeable and very friendly, and the vibes are amazing. Even the bites are delicious.Overall, the hotel was an enjoyable stay but the dated and dusty rooms were not as pleasant. No valet but gated parking ($17).
Lee Cooke: Spent way too much on this room for what we got. We spent 3 nights in a blue room on the eleventh floor- the first two nights were alright (though the attached restaurant closed an hour early without saying anything on their door or website and accepted our reservation, only to turn us away at the host stand). The hotel is definitely form over function: the art is nice, but they're egregiously understaffed. The towels and linens are very cheap and our duvet had a hole in it from wear. They're clean, despite a few stains. The kicker was our last night- since the lobby and lounge are on the 12th floor and we were put in an 11th floor room, someone booked a party from 8 PM to midnight directly above us. We could hear every dance move, bass thump, and even song lyrics that whole time. Called the front desk and they brought us the most useless earplugs and shrugged, because the party had paid too. It was so loud, we could tell when the cha-cha slide started! No offer to change rooms, no money off ("because the manager isn't in today" when we checked out), just the offer of a breakfast coupon, when we already had reservations elsewhere and needed to drive 5 hours home.Overall, very cool Instagram photo and not much else. Angad needs to put some work into guest experience, not just aesthetic (which gets quickly undercut the second you take a closer look and notice the dust and stains and broken zen garden rake). Not at all worth the money to stay the night- spend $15 on a watered down cocktail at Art Bar and walk through the lobby, and you'll get all this hotel has to offer.
LaTonja Estelle: Now this may be the place that puts STL on the big city nightlife map....rooftop with views and eclectic space...can become 'seen b seen' spotService: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Cheryl Bell: Rooms: We loved our stay at Angad Arts Hotel. Very nice rooms and very quiet.Food & drinks: The breakfasts were fantastic. Lots of choices. The waiter was exceptional.Noteworthy details: Love the art distributed throughout the hotel.
genevieve d: We absolutely loved the Angad Rainbow Terrace! The 360 view was breathtaking! The staff was welcoming and courteous with us all!
Robin Hoback: Rooms: Nice roomsNearby activities: Close to fox theaterWalkability: Walkable to many restaurantsFood & drinks: Bar on top floor with food. Colse to many restaurants
Greg Crueger: Rooms: The theme of paintingsA, everything in the room one color is a cool artsy concept, but the colors are way too bright. my room was all one color -red. I would want it to be something more calm like a pale blue - not primary colors. That’s really the only thing that I definitely did not like about the hotel.
Nico B: I stayed here for a night because I went to the Fox to see Wicked. The hotel has easy and convenient parking and it was a 2 min walk to the Fox, which made it nice. The room was clean, but I do feel like it needed a deep clean to really impress me. I loved the color idea for the different rooms. I did not have shampoo in my room only liquid soap in the shower and at the sink. I felt like they could have had a different type of soap for the shower (i.e., body wash) and actual shampoo. Overall would recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful because the building at first is a bit of a maze. I had a good experience there and it was well priced!!
Brian Trentmann: The hotel is very interesting you just got to look aroundRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Jr: If I could give this place a negative -5 stars I would. I had a confirmed reservation at the Angad Arts hotel in St Louis Missouri April 29th and was coming to St louis for an event from ohio. I spoke with Amber who is the manager of the establishment and she advised to me in advance that I could pay cash for the room due to the room charge being more than the credit limit on my credit card and she said I was able to use my credit card for any incidental charges. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel for months up until my arrival, I was immediately stopped in the hallway by an employee as I was looking for the front desk so I can check in. I told the gentleman I had a reservation for April 29th. He immediately told me that there's notes in the system to not accept cash and to do card only for the full transaction of the cost of the hotel. I was confused about his response as I've already confirmed my reservation and situation with Amber a few times she advised to me that she would be able to honor the request to accept cash for the room and to pay the incidental charges on my credit card and to ask for her upon my arrival. The guy kept repeating the same thing advising there's nothing he can do and that his hands are tied. I requested for him to call Amber because this was not what i was told so he calls someone which could have been anyone and he said that she said the same thing that's listed in the notes. I requested to speak with her myself and he refused and kept repeating himself saying that his hands are tied and that the notes say can't accept cash with a weird smile on his face. The man was not helpful and he gave off a weird vibe that felt discriminatory. This was a huge disappointment as I've been lied to and traveled a far distance looking forward to staying at the hotel. The hotel was unprofessional and also has a history of guaranteeing requests to customers and upon arrival not honoring their word. This was the worst experience I have ever experienced from any hotel in my entire life not only that but later came across a video on tiktok from another guest that stayed at the Angad arts hotel and in the video she showed a book that's included in the rooms from the hotel that showed weird pictures of naked children. Overall the hotel gave me a dark eery vibe and the location doesn't seem the best as the area appeared ghetto where people may feel uncomfortable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid!!!!

The Cheshire: what do users think?
Matt Bollinger: Family and I Just shared a holiday weekend with Folks at the Cheshire. We were in town for wedding and our stay could not have been better. Hotel clean, People super friendly, rooms so cool. Each one named after famous English Author or character. Fox and Hounds on site bar makes you feel like your lost in an old English novel a hundred years ago. By all means, it will be the only place I stay when in STL.Food & drinks: Fox and Hounds... super cool bar
Sean Ingle: Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be disappointed.Very nice place to stay, all the staff we encountered were just fantastic, friendly, helpful and a delight to speak with. They even have an adult and kids scavenger hunt which we did. If you like or are into British poets authors or playwrights or just like that atmosphere definitely a cool place to stay. We'll be back for sure
Steve Hobick: Our previous stays at the Cheshire have been good. This time began bad when I asked for new towels and cleaning the trash. I was told they couldn’t do it that day, but would do it tomorrow. The next day no one came. Then my wife called the front desk. The man that answered was unprofessional and clueless. My wife asked for towels and cleaning the trash. He brought two towels and trash bags. After pulling the bag from the bathroom trash, it smelled like urine. He mentioned the help wasn’t very good. I had a thought, if not why doesn’t management fix it. New ownership or management doesn’t seem to care. As for our family, we will NOT go back to the Cheshire.Noteworthy details: First three stays greatThis one was badWont be back
roland boguszewski: Called the front desk on our 2nd day as we set our used towels next to the room door in the hallway that morning. Housekeeping never gave us new towels or even picked up the dirty ones. The guy at the front desk didn't answer the phone, so I walked to the front myself only to find him standing at the desk, ignoring the phone ringing while I watched. My wife got physically sick after eating the fish at the motel pub.If you have difficulty walking, don't park in the downstairs parking garag. There is no elevator until you are on the 1st floor. So unload your luggage at the front entrance.
Andrew Bobrowiecki: Had to change rooms because the bath tub was dirty. Doors were busted and scraped. Staff was great, but for the price ($300/night) would not stay here again.
MsStingFan: Very close to where I needed to be. Excellent service in boutique hotelRooms: Very clean and quaint with book themeFood & drinks: Fox and Hound charming Lond pub style place. Dark booths but can play games.
Jonathan Kraft: Didn't stay here but went to pick up some family who were staying here. What I loved about walking into this place was all the unique names and decor, and the location close to Concordia Seminary. That part was great for older family members who needed to be somewhere close.

Nysha Nelson: The Cheshire is a really unique property with loads of charm and character. Direct out of an sweeping English Drama the rich woods, antiques and eclectic accessories fulfill the fantasy. The staff was kind and helpful. The restaurant, The Fox and Hound had a limited menu but our choices of Bangers and Mash along with Shepherd’s Pie (actually cottage pie made with beef as opposed to lamb.) was tasty.Breakfast was carb laden — not great for anyone gluten sensitive but there were berries and some apples and bananas. As for the room — this is where the accommodations start to fall short. The room was nice enough. Kept refreshed for a property that is sixty some years old. The bathroom has been updated recently. Though why the light switch was across the room from the door under a towel seems an oversight. Not even an illuminated switch to help one find it.The mattress was decent. The pillows however were more the size of a lumbar pillow rather than a bed pillow. The headboard was attractive but uncomfortable to lean against. There was a gap between the headboard and mattress that eat the pillows. The base of the bed is much larger than the mattress and bruised a shin bad enough for an ice pack to be needed for the evening.Nice enough and interesting yet the next time I am heading to St. Louis I will go elsewhere.
Lu Ann Flechsig: We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Great coffee, fresh fruit, eggs and sausage, plus hashed browns (not every day with the hashed browns. Muffins, toast, bagels and pastries. Croissants one of those days. Only thing was that one of the days, instead of separate scrambled eggs and sausage, they mixed them, which left vegetarians with essentially nothing warm to eat. Room was decent, but the bed posts were killing us. We both managed to bang them several times, and I see in other posts that it wasn't just us. I think they need to pad them.:-) The downside was that there wasn't a microwave or fridge in the room. You could request a fridge (I wish they would have mentioned that more clearly when we booked) but they are limited in number and when we asked, none were available. The restaurant right next door was convenient. Public is seated one floor down, so no windows, and quite dark. The main floor is for events I believe. Reminded me of Cheers with the big center bar, but I would have preferred a little bit more light. I think they used gas lighting/lamps. Food was good. It's literally a block from the freeway entrance and exit so it was very convenient for us. There was a gas station on the other side of the restaurant and a little Chinese takeout restaurant that we tried. It was ok. Very old school Chinese food. Where we live there are many great Chinese restaurants so it was just ok. Very nice owners.
dustin harms: Pretty neat. Only negative is the common food area could be cleanerRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Al Di: There's a few really nice employees working there but there's one manager or I don't know who she is that constantly is scowling at you, she gave me a dirty look two times I ask for something. My nephew is in the ICU would have been nice to be treated nicely and kindly my family was going through a lot and to be given dirty looks each time i left and spent 700 dollars for 4 days stay. I also think it needs a good cleaning its really dusty and dirty the girl wiped our breakfast table crumbs onto out chairs it was strange the pillows are flat like pancakes for the prices you would think they could afford new pillows. I got one last eye roll for the road ya I saw it when I walked out the door. We didn't do anything to be treated so badly we didn't ask for a room cleaning nothing so why is it they think its ok to treat us poorly because they think we can't see it? Get out of the hospitality business
Phil Cook: The entrance, the hallways and the common areas are really neat to see. The rooms are like a knock off 1970s motel. The mattress was very comfy but the room left a lot to be desired. Water damage in the ceiling, carpet was threadbare and dirty, the top sheet had 2 huge (like 4 inch) holes in it. I wouldn't stay again. We chose this hotel only for its close location to the hospital and wish we had stayed a little farther away.
Heather Scott: I expected so much more from a locale claiming to be a "boutique hotel." The room was filthy (see photos) especially the bathroom. There is no way the floor had been swept in weeks. Did not realize until the next morning we were given 2 sets of bath linens for a room that sleeps 4. The only thing we enjoyed was the Fox & Hounds pub, although that was a little misleading because their website claims there is a cigar smoking bar with spirits as if it's a speakeasy in a different location. When I asked the bartender at Fox & Hounds, he said we were actually in it, that they pull a bookcase in front of the door in Feb & remove it in March, making it appear like there's a secret pub there for 1 month of the year. Apparently there is in fact, only the 1 bar in the hotel. The entire building & furnishings are outdated, & in dire need of a remodel. Our room was $399 before taxes & fees. I've had chain hotels for more than half the price, be so much nicer than this. Very disappointed. I was given $100 off without question when I showed photos of the dirty room. It was too late in the evening to go elsewhere so I opted to stay, but would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Terry Yarham: Overnight stay for an event onsite at The Boundary. Nice boutique hotel, with each room or suite named after an English writer or poet.Room was good sized and clean, with a lot more character than you would get in a big chain. The people were friendly, and although we didn't eat any of the complementary continental breakfast, it looked good.I would recommend it to friends, and next time I look forward to eating at the onsite Italian restaurant or English Pub.

Cinder House and Bar: what do users think?
Evia Hodge: Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Shane: Cinder was a nice experience because of the location on the rooftop of the Four Seasons. It has a great vibe but doesn't quite deliver on the service and food end because your expectations are quite high going in. If you go in with that in mind, you won't be too disappointed because sometimes we just overpay for an experience and/or it's convenient. Service was slow. We had steak and scallops and they were cooked well etc but I was done eating my 4 scallops (entire meal) in 2 minutes on a stretch. No sides, nothing. When you pay these prices, you shouldn't leave hungry.
Faith Davis: Amazing place and food. Our server, Glenn, was outstanding the entire time and made my husband and I feel so welcome. The food was beyond anything. The scallops and steak were to die for. The drinks and dessert were amazing as well with a spectacular view! Everything and everyone there was fantastic. The prices were well worth the quality we got.
Norma Arnold: If I could give this establishment 6 stars, I would! Everything we tried was amazing. From drinks, to appetizer, to entree, nothing disappointed! They’re located on the 8th floor of the Four Seasons hotel. Once you know that part, finding the restaurant is easy. The views of the Arch and city from the outdoor seating area are fantastic. I had the PIRI PIRI CHICKEN-Grilled Half Chicken, Manioc Polenta, Preserved Lemon, Sweet Pepper. It was an elevated buffalo chicken dish that left me wanting more even after I had stuffed myself. Absolutely delicious. My Partner had the BUTTERNUT SQUASH RISOTTO- Cashew Cheese, Ginger Mushroom Chimichurri, Toasted Cashews. All good feedback but the Piri Piri Chicken was truly hard to beat! We will definitely find our way back here!
Steve: Incredible! Everything was exquisite! Gotta get the lamb chops. OMGoodnessWheelchair accessibility: Free valet parking if going to the restaurant. Once in the building everything is wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms are accessible, surprisingly they just don't have an automatic door opener.
TR3NDY OFFICIAL: My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who immediately made us feel at home. The positive energy of the people there really added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. We were seated promptly and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Not only did he make great recommendations from the menu, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. The food itself was fantastic - every dish was beautifully presented and delicious, and it was clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into each plate.Overall, we had an amazing time at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience. The combination of good staff, warm welcoming, and positive people truly made our anniversary celebration even more special. We can't wait to come back again!

There were 2 fingerling potatoes cut up and a lot of chilies. My two brunch mates were not impressed with their eggs Benedict either. The continental portion was very smalland lacked much choice. The waitstaff was spectacularFor $40 per person plus drinks, I expected better than this.

David McBee: Fantastic atmosphere, food and service. Everything was wonderful.
Benjamin Powell: I really wanted to love this place, and while the food was good, it just wasn’t quite what it promised to be. Our lead server tried to sell us a bottle of champagne or wine four times throughout the meal, even when we indicated we were only interested in one cocktail (on a Wednesday.)The Brazilian cheese balls were a delight - the best bite of the night. Everything else was well executed, it just felt like the entire staff was joyless in their roles, and phoning it in. I want to go back for brunch to take in the downtown views, but probably won’t come back for dinner.

The food was incredibly pleasurable not just from a taste perspective but also aesthetically. Sommelier Ayesha was top notch and delightfully attentive (she even remembered what we ate the night before!?!?!). The hen of the woods mushrooms are insane, the manioc goat cheese polenta may have stolen the show and the gem salad so fresh and crisp. The blue corn grits with veggies is pretty great too. Oh and the Brigadeiro for dessert felt authentic as I had been in Brazil the week before. The spirit menu is very robust which is not common especially if you like fancy scotches.
Brien Bednara: Expensive but delicious. Excellent service and an incredible atmosphere. Need an exceptional experience for a special occasion, have dinner at Cinder House.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Dia's Cheese Bread, Lamb Ribs …More
