Jamie Haruska: Brunch was amazing! There were multiple vegan and vegetarian options, as well as traditional meat choices. The food came out quickly, the vibe was on point, and the staff were friendly. We got the veggie scramble, goat cheese/ mushroom crepe and a half order of the vegetarian biscuits and gravy. All was reasonably priced. We didn’t have cocktails but they looked amazing.

You are sitting in a loft style designed hall, which makes it a bit noisy - so getting there well rested is better. I love the coloring and funny paintings - it must have been pro designing that restaurant. Service is Standard, nothing to remember.

Ben Pavlovits: If you know anything about cooking, you're not going to like this place. Eggs are simultaneously dripping with oil AND overcooked. The avocados were hard/inedible. And in my veggie omelet, I recognized random bits of other misc. omelets, like chorizo and bacon-- which isn't gross by itself, it's just indicative of the fact that they don't clean their pans.This is all made worse by the fact that a tea bag costs $5. For those that don't drink tea: EXPENSIVE tea is like .50c a bag at the grocery store. Everything here is of the lowest possible quality with some of the highest prices in town.

There's a huge u-shaped community table that was surely a bar in a previous life, along with tables and booths. We've noticed that some restaurants here provide glasses and a carafe of water at every table (or every two chairs along a community table), which is especially nice while you're waiting for a server just after being seated.We had breakfast/brunch here two days in a row - it was that good! Between the two of us, we had the biscuit and gravy, the stuffed French toast (the thickest I've ever seen), and we shared the scramble with bacon, goat cheese, arugula, etc. both days. The scramble is, without a doubt, something we will try to replicate at home.

China Johnson: First time visiting, and believe me, it will not be the last! The dishes are super unique and classic, with a refreshing, modern twist! The music was so on point and the atmosphere is very laid back and diverse. Our server, Nick, was so amazing, attentive and knowledgeable. We made our reservation for two, but in the last 30 mins, my cuzn and his companion decided to join us. I called to see if we could get adjusted accommodations, and it wasn't a problem at all. Will be back this weekend!

Hannah Lonsdale: Visiting from out of town and had high hopes for brunch here based on the reviews and the price point. Disappointed.We were seated upstairs, which seems to also serve as an event space. The decor was amateurish, like someone had repurposed a bunch of stuff they had in their grad school apartment. The paintwork is gross, dirty and greasy. I didn't really want to touch the handrail on the way up the stairs. There are loose wires hanging off the ceiling. Service was slow and impersonal. Coffee was overbrewed.The three stars is for the food, which was actually pretty good. The wait staff carry it from downstairs, so it wasn't super hot on arrival, but we enjoyed the chorizo avo benny and osso bucco pork, even if the wine reduction was a little incongruous in flavor for breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were deep-fried, which seems a little lazy for the price point.This place has a lot of potential, but needs work.

We tried the strawberry doughnuts and were disappointed with the plain doughnut holes/ hushpuppies that were served with strawberry syrup. Could totally see someone playing a live acoustic set here or a DJ spinning, lol. Ordered the bloody, it was thick and chunky (not quite how I like it) and no heat. However, I ordered the bacon (real bacon -thick sliced), goat cheese, red onion, arugula, tomato jam and pesto scramble. It was outstanding!! My friend loved her dish and made it clear the food here is always great. We went on a Sunday morning and by the time we left there was a loooong line of people waiting for a table, so plan accordingly in that situation. Heather Mikan: Hands down the best gluten free pancakes I have ever had. When I came the first day, I had the arepa and it was heavenly. It was so good that I came back the next morning to have their pancakes before we left town. The atmosphere was great, the people were amazing and the food was on a whole other level. For gluten free pancakes, I recommend calling ahead, but they have other options and desserts that are good for walk-in.Dietary restrictions: They have a great selection of gluten free options. For pancakes, you may need to call ahead or have a reservation. They are making everything from scratch and so that time means the kitchen can be ready dor something that may not be immediately on hand. The 2nd, most recent time, I had the burger of the month, which was so amazing, it brought tears to my eyes. The flavor profile of the dish was next level. The biscuit was thick and crispy edges and soft on the inside. The gravy was thick with lots of mushrooms and definitely can taste the leeks! The added sausage was another flavor bonus to the dish. I also had the black beauty coffee liquor drink and it was definitely unique and different! The drink wasnt my usual thing but wanted to try something different,it wasnt for me but doesnt mean its not for you! I highly recommend this place! Black owned as well and was a plus for me! In the time since things have greatly improved, which I am so happy to say. The food is still great and they redid the interior of the restaurant to make it look super swanky. The customer service is also really good.

Joss Vince: Upon the new opening of the restaurant, I was blown away with the quality of the food. I ordered the kale and brussel sprout ceasar salad, the wantons and the spring rolls. It was fantastic. Over the past year, I was bitten by a tick and contracted Alpha Gal Syndrome which makes me allergic to all 4 legged animals and any byproduct which apparently is in everything. I can only eat at vegan based restaurants but can eat bird and fish but cross contamination from any typical restaurant results in an allergic reaction. As a person that on occasion eats homemade modified ceaser dressing with anchovies, I have now learned that Lulu's house dressing is so perfect and delightful that I wish I could recreate it at my house as I will now miss this restaurant as I am relocating to Western NY this summer. Lulu's, you have made me jelly that I will now miss your food here in a month. Keep being amazing and I am so happy you reopend!

DeAngeloe Jeffries: My first time eating LuLu's was on Father's Day, and it was worth it. Because of them i love there jackfruit crunch wrap and there nacho tots I recommend the large. Since then ive ate there 2 other times. However ive been trying to order since then, however i just saw as of yesterday that they are temporarily closed. I wish the owner and the staff nothing but the best and i love for them to reopen as soon as possible.

We had a reservation for 6 p.m., and we were able to eat our meal, have dessert and leave by 7 p.m. to get to the theater - only 5 minutes away.The service was impeccable. The food was crazy good. And the location is great for pre-theater. We ate inside, but the patio looked very inviting.We started with the pesto flatbread, which was delicious! The steak was absolutely perfect and the fries were great. To end the meal with the Blueberry Fool was heavenly.My granddaughter claims it was the best restaurant she's ever been to. We definitely will go back to share this experience with more family when we don't have to rush ourselves.Parking: We went at 6 p.m. and had no problem securing a metered parking spot right outside the restaurant. René Saller: Tree House is my favorite restaurant in St. Louis and always my first choice for a special celebratory dinner. The food is delicious and innovative; the atmosphere is comfortably elegant; and the service is exceptional. I love the way the staff is attentive to all the diners in the restaurants--friendly without hovering. The nonalcoholic cocktails are exceptional, too; I'm especially fond of the Mighty Kind CBD seltzers (Orange Dream and Cherry Blossom are both phenomenal). My absolute favorite item at Tree House, though, is the brussels sprout salad--caramelized to perfection, with a deliciously addictive lime-chili dressing that haunts my dreams. David Storey: Tree House is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Their all vegetarian/vegan menu is really helpful to me, since it gets rid of the usual questions about menu items being cooked with chicken stock or bullion. The food is always spiced really well; it adds to the flavor without overpowering it. The service we've had has always been very good, the atmosphere gets a little loud when the dining room is full; the space is tight and has a lot of sound reflecting surfaces. If you're with a party that doesn't mind speaking loudly, not a problem, but if you're looking for a quieter meal, it could be an issue.

Penny Phillips: Poor customer service. Charged me $5 for one (1) little extra piece of cornbread for my meal and gave me resistance about even being able to order it citing they make exactly one (1) piece of cornbread per limited number of jambalaya meals prepped each day and customers are typically not allowed to order a piece of cornbread to accompany any other meal on the menu. It’s just bread… literally the cheapest food to make…. & it’s not like they have any dinner rolls or other bread options… heck seems reasonable someone might want some bread when eating an American comfort food dish and they’ve made it a big deal and over-charged me more than once.
