Eleven Eleven Mississippi: what do users think?
Brent Punch: The people I picked up said it was okay nothing specialFood: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Khalid Mundwiller: I'm sorry, I'm not sure why everyone is reaching about this place. We went last night and had a gritty, undercooked steak (it literally couldn't melt the terrible butter they put on top) and 4 small raviolis and the worst gooey butter cake I've had in STL (maybe they missed the first word, gooey, because this was just cake). $90 for this. I'm sorry, there are so many better choices in STL. I was REALLY excited to try this place based on all the positive reviews and NOTHING I had was very good (the wild boar ravioli was the best thing and even it was not great at all). I hate giving negative reviews and I probably should have sent the steak back, so that's on me. Server was very nice and we still tipped her accordingly, but the food was not good AT ALL.

Damian De Pietro: The host was not the frendliest, almost like doing you a favor.Food was ok, it looks like there are not to many new dishes voming out. The side dishes change from time to time but that is pretty much it.I go there some what often as it is close to work, and it is easy to meet with customers and vendors. Most likely I'll be looking at another place to meet.

Jorden N: I swear the STL food journalism scene has something against the Hamiltons group, because this was yet another amazing place the journalists don’t bother mentioning.Everything was just so spot on. The only fleck of meh-ness was the Cesar salad, but even then it was like being the dumbest kid in the talented/gifted class- getting an A- when everyone else gets an A+
Carey B: I find it incredibly rude to answer the phone and scream “I CAN’T HEAR YOU” and then hang up when someone is calling to make reservations. I hadn’t even had a chance to talk when I was yelled at and hung up on. I wish I were kidding when I say that this happened with three phone calls made today where the exact same person answered, yelled at me, and hung up.
Aaron Moore: "Great vibe!" That's the term I'll use to describe this place. Eleven Eleven Mississippi is intimate enough for a chill date night, quiet enough for engaging conversation. Yet large enough for a big group to celebrate a birthday with your friends.I had dinner with a friend and we enjoyed the ravioli for a starter which I highly highly recommend. As my entree, I enjoyed the Chicken Diablo Fusilli. Prepared to perfection and just a little bite. I made reservations and was seated right away. The server was attentive, engaged in fun banter, and displayed strong knowledge of the menu. I will go again and again! I recommend you do the same.Parking: Parked right around the corner of the restaurant. There was an adequate amount of parking.
Carmen Perkins: Love the food here. The lunch specials are unusual and very good.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jillian Lemons: Amazing! Everything from the appetizer to salad/soup to entree was delicious! Worth every penny, and the service was fantastic. Can't wait to eat here again.

AddJustin: I couldn't find anything to complain about. It was wonderful. The menu was awesome, everything was good and I can't wait to return. It was clean, plenty of space to travel through and visually interesting to look around. Local celebrity hotspot for sure. Staff was very nice and welcoming. There's an outside section which will be great for the coming summer months!
Gretchen Dobbs: My boyfriend and I have been here several times, sat in the dining area, and have had wonderful experiences so far with the servers, which is the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars. We came in this evening 4/27 and sat at the bar to have some food and drinks but we were completely ignored by the older female bartender with wavy hair- she didn’t even bother to tell us her name. She was blatantly giving us poor service, checking in frequently and having conversation with the patrons directly next to us. She was not busy in the slightest but couldn’t bother to look at us. This went on for over 30 minutes. This made us so upset we decided to leave before ordering our food. Very disappointed and surprised.
Gennie Palmer: The first time I dined at 11/11 Mississippi was with my parents when I was 12 years old. I fell in love with this restaurant. I’ve had my 14th, 18th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, & 29th birthday dinners here with my family and friends, and also for other celebrations over the years. I most recently dined here for fun in March 2023. The cuisine is always delicious, the staff are excellent, timing is always smooth but never rushed, the atmosphere and energy is positive, and I always look forward to the experience. I hope to dine at 11/11 Mississippi for many more years to come.Parking: very easy to find parking or have a drop-off/pick-up by Uber/Lyft

Brasserie by Niche: what do users think?
Jim Thacker: I refuse to believe that people frequent this place on a regular basis. This place is the most over priced, over rated restaurant that I have ever been in. The ambiance was horrible, just a dilapidated old building. I had the braised beef with glazed carrots and potato puree. The braised beef was okay, the carrots consisted of about 1/2 of one carrot diced at different angles. The potato purée is nothing more than watered down mashed potatoes and there might have been two tablespoons of it. The salad that I had was the worst I think I ever had. The desert, the floating island was nothing more than a dollop of whipped cream on a little crème brûlée sauce with some shaved almonds... not even a scoop of ice cream. I’ve had better dinners at Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans. I've eaten at many high end restaurants but I've never been so disappointed. I’ve paid high end prices but was never disappointed like this place. I have no idea how they got so many good reviews. $127.00 for the wife and I with the tip. She had a half chicken. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Sierra Pritchard: Service: 5/5More
Richard Hamilton: Place was great. Food was good and the service was excellent.I had mussels and they weren't the best. I think I'm building a habit of ordering seafood in the Midwest and expecting more than can be reasonably provided. My wife had the burger and our friend had steak. Everything was good to great. We'll be back.

Bob Cymber: We specifically reserved a table for 2 at the Brass Bar, and it was obvious that they forgot and tried to bus a table ready for us. Had to wait a bit for our table, but the food and service was good. However, if you are going to reminisce about the amazing experience from Taste Bar, I think you will be disappointed. I wish Taste Bar was still here 😩

The True Creed: I know it's such a generic thing but I went in there not expecting a fancy restaurant and ended up ordering a burger 😅. The wait staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend had the halibut and she really liked it. I personally recommend the lobster turnovers, the texture and flavors were just wonderful. The first time I've ever enjoyed a fancy restaurant! Had a wonderful time!
Patriotic Wolf: We had not been to Sidney Street in about 8 years and wanted to try it again for my birthday. With all the amazing reviews, we thought it still had it. Unfortunately the dinner fell short of our expectations. We were sat immediately, a lot of open tables for a Friday night but beautiful building and cool atmosphere. We had our waitress go over the appetizers and drink list with us. The cocktail list was underwhelming, wine list was fairly decent and we opted for a bottle of Pinot noir. We then ordered the lobster turnovers and veal dumplings, both which were favorites of mine years ago. Those both were delicious! Our salads were light and refreshing, my husband got a Caesar and he enjoyed it although said it was almost too rich. The beignets were spot on and delicious as usual. Now the entrees… two of us ordered ribeyes. They are big steak eaters so when a steak comes out with a gravy sauce on top of it, they were extremely disappointed. The other fact that it’s not listed as being served with gravy sauce on the menu is extremely misleading. They definitely would’ve asked for it dry or picked a different item. The unfortunately both had about 3 bites and were done.We also got the halibut and beef tenderloin with lobster. Both were well cooked, however the halibut was the tiniest piece of fish I’ve ever seen. I had halibut at another restaurant last week and it was was probably 4 times the size. We also got the rigatoni as a side and it was so Smokey flavored that we could barely eat it. Just pure smoke flavor which we like but it was overpowering. The cauliflower side was inedible to us. It was not cooked enough and the romesco sauce was not great.I really had high hopes for Sidney street for how it use to be about 10 years ago. Unfortunately our dinner was disappointing and we won’t be going back.

Colleen Piel: I miss the food from the "old" Sidney Street. Service and atmosphere were excellent, but the best things on the menu are the original items. The lobster turnovers and beignets are wonderful. I wish they would have kept the wasabi filet in its original form. Jack Reacher: This was a fantastic and delicious dinner! The ambience was amazing which set the mood for an amazing evening. I give the place 5 stars for service, 5 stars for atmosphere, and 5 stars for food quality and taste. The bread (brioche) was delicious, melted in your mouth. For starters we had the lobster turnovers absolutely amazing. When they offer you the opportunity to add a fourth one to the order, I would do it or you will be fighting over the last one. I had the 8oz beef tenderloin, it was cooked perfectly and the quality of the meat was excellent. Desert was awesome and topped off a perfect dinner. My hat off to the staff and owner for a great experience.

Andrew Dillman: We love this place!
Vickie Birkenmeier: Service was excellent. Food not so much. Steak was chewy with strings of fat. Cavatelli was very strong tasting with with the tomatoes 🍅 onion soup was some broth with a alittle shrewdedCheese. The carrot cake was the strangest thing ever and was awful. Especially for 15.00. Disappointed will not return.

ELAIA: what do users think?
Melissa Bear: Several years ago we came and had an outstanding meal. This year we came after seeing the Valentine’s Day meal advertised and had very high expectations. We were disappointed. The meal was more expensive than other similar restaurants in town, and for the price we paid, the size of portions and quality was not what one should expect from such a highly regarded restaurant. Our octopus was over cooked and chewy and the steak was more fat and gristle than meat.
Ross Mandernach: Absolutely amazing food, wine, service and atmosphere. Anyone who has given this place a 1 star review has the palate of a picky toddler and knows nothing about good food. This place is worth every penny
Josh Lorenz: Great dinner, excellent food and friendly staff!
Sherry Pesicka: The portions are extremely small and the prices are very expensive. 2 of us cost $277.00
Scott Howze: The tasting menu and pair pairings were amazing. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I have no complaints.
Parker Gelber: This was the most fun and romantic tasting menu experience we’ve had. The food was unbelievable. Creative and diverse. This staff here was fantastic. By far the best service we have experienced. There knowledge is unparalleled.5 out of 5, one of the best spots in the Midwest!
Brian Grouzos: The food was ok. Like 5 dishes in a row had basil oil on it and most were slightly under seasoned. Service was very good though. Overall, the value for the price wasn't there for me.
Rachel Waterman: After trying many other tasting menus around town - tempus, vicia, bulrush, etc - gotta say this is hands down the least bang for your buck. Food is good, for sure, but you can eat just as well, in a much nicer setting, for a lot less money elsewhere in town.
Jason Yeager: The food, wine, and service was exceptional. It was very expensive, but also a great dining experience.
Nicholas Miller: Expensive but the best. Don’t go here to save money, go here to have a meal you won’t soon forget. Each course was thoughtful, delicious, and beautiful. We went there for our anniversary and very much enjoyed the whole experience.
Eduardo Sequeira: This what everyone must expect about fine dining. Good service, good and very well executed dishes with a good balance of wine pairings that usually is just random, the selection of wines was very accurate with the dishes and it has the right proportion. Bread, caviar, fish, beat tartar, Salmon cooked with broth, the mushroom, the chicken, the beef and dessert were just the right amount of flavorful dishes. I think the space is small for the potential of the cooking 🔪 here. Really worth it to visit if you want to have a good and fine dining experience
David Nold: Absolutely a superb and well designed chefs menu. The cadence of the nine courses and service was excellent. The flavors and creativity of the food ….wonderful. And the wine pairings were perfect…so totally complimentary. The staff and ambiance is an understated elegance, by which I mean professional AND friendly. They change their tasting menu every 2 months or so…..SO….if I’m back in the area this will be again on my list.
Kyle Williams: Have been to OLIO many times and love their food, but our meal at ELAIA was painfully underwhelming. We got the tasting menu with standard wine pairings and after an excellent cheese and bread service were disappointed by every course. The sturgeon in particular was so overcooked and unseasoned it was inedible. The wine was good with each course but everything except the short rib had almost zero flavor. For a total tab of more than $500 this was just such a bad meal. Especially disappointing given that the front of house staff did such a good job. It was just a poor meal on every level.
dhstlmo: We'd not been here for a number of years but just went for a birthday dinner, getting the full tasting menu and premium wine pairings. Elaia had always been good but a bit mixed in the past, and we thought this meal was up to their best from the early days. The wine selections were outstanding and most of the food courses were excellent to truly wonderful, and everything was at least very good. Service was charming, knowledgeable, attentive and well-paced. Be aware of the price tag, which was steep for our choices, and decide if it's likely to be worth it to you. St. Louis tends toward strong and simple flavors, and our meal at Elaia wasn't like that, closer to what you'd find in the bigger cities or in Europe, which isn't to everyone's taste.
Mel: I agree with the other reviewers that the tasting menu is overpriced and lacking both creativity and flavor for what you pay for. The service was great, very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately it seemed like the menu had been created without much thought which does not fly for that price point. There are other restaurants in the area that have amazing tasting menus for a fraction of the price.
Brad Hogenmiller: Wonderful anniversary dinner!
Dana Liu: Overall this was a really disappointing meal that fell short mainly because the price we paid did not justify the food and experience we received. We did 2x Chef Tasting Menus at $135 each, and split the premium wine pairing at $140 for a total of $410 before tax and tip.For this price, we found some issues in the dishes we received (e.g., overcooked sturgeon, beef short rib itself was on the bland side), the ingredients in the dishes didn't justify the price point (most expensive was the small scoop of caviar, then followed by beef short rib, and sturgeon - both of which had small portions as you can see in the photos), the wine pours were fairly restrained over 8 glasses, and the overall experience wasn't up to par with 'fine dining'.As a direct comparison, the last fine dining experience pre-COVID was with a 1 michelin restaurant in Chicago called Temporis. They offer a $165 seasonal tasting menu which was an intimate fine-dining experience from the setup, the service throughout, and the final parting gift of a goodie bag with the tasting menus and a sweet treat from the pastry chef. Their menu also features premium ingredients such as Lobster, Duck, Venison, A5 Wagyu Ribeye, etc. Finally, their comparable 2nd tier wine pairing to Elaia's comes in at $165 over 9 courses. For just $30 more on the tasting menu, and $25 more on the wine tasting, you could've gotten excellent cooking (as recognized by Michelin if that makes a difference to you), premium ingredients, reasonable wine pairings, an extra course (and wine pour!), and a really positive memorable experience. Elaia was certainly memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.I do not recommend Elaia. There's definitely other restaurants in the St Louis area that gets better bang for buck. If you're looking for a guaranteed fine dining experience, I highly recommend making a trip up to Chicago - there's plenty of really great restaurants to explore!
Conrad Gray: Don’t even try it!We thought it would be a cool place because it’s in an old house. Thought maybe a chefs table!Wrong…..We both preordered the chef’s tasting menu when we made the reservation. Bad idea. It’s very hot at our table and they brought us an already opened bottle of what was supposed to be Italian still water but it smelled just like that river in St. Louis.I won’t spend the time telling about the terrible food on every course as I have included some photos.Way too much money for not nearly enough thought and concern for a fine dining experience.Terrible
Gaelen Joseph: owner is incredibly rude and food is not worth the price
Stanley McCaslin: Expensive, but a great food experience, with impeccable service. We had the four-course tasting menu, with wine pairings. I understand this menu changes daily based on what is freshly available that day.

Vicia: what do users think?
Michael Gehman: Beautiful restaurant located in St Louis' Central West End. The food is exquisitely prepared by talented chefs who have a way of turning even seemingly boring vegetables into fabulous entrées and side dishes. Love their focus on local ingredients and huge support of local farms.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Derek Theisen: We did the farmers feast tasting menu. All of the dishes were creative, carefully constructed, and delicious. The fried potato with caramelized onion and the cheesy grits with smoked daikon were real stars of the show. Unique wine menu and great cocktails.Vegetarian options: Only one dish had to be subbed in our tasting for our vegetarian guest and the substitution was just as thoughtful and tasty as the meat option.
Allan Connolly: I hate posting negative reviews, but sometimes you’re left with little choice. I sent the following message directly to the restaurant, but after a month without a reply from Vicia I felt I had little choice.“We had an appalling experience last Saturday while dining at Vicia.  We've eaten at Vicia several times, and enjoyed the prior experiences, but the most recent visit was appalling.   We paid for the elevated wine pairings to go with what we thought would be a tasting menu.Your tasting menu is anything but a menu degustation - it's a three course dinner served family style.  The pairings for the "tasting menu" were a glass of very average white, followed by a very thin Bordeaux, Duc des Nauves.   These are bottles of wine that retail for LESS than $25, and that's retail, not trade.Five of us had the parings, so we had one bottle of white and one bottle of red for the table.  You charged us $250 for wine that you paid well under well under $50.  I get the usual 2x mark up from retail at a restaurant, 3x gets irritating,  but 5x???   That's nothing but insulting - you are exploiting your customers to the point it borders on theft.  I can't begin to imagine what you serve for the base pairing. We raised this issue with your staff, and let's just say they were less than helpful.  Their tone was dismissive, and they repeated over and over again "what do you want us to do?".  First step, don't put this back on the customers. Please understand that we are not serial whiners.  The food was great, but the flagrant price gouging, combined with the poor response from the staff, ruined the experience.”
Michael Snowden: Wow Vicia was a wonderful meal and I am blown away by how affordable it was for 2 people for this quality of food. I’ve been to other places with this level quality and I end up spending over 1000 but not here. Our bartender Tyler was a really nice guy and the wine guy was excellent as well. We did the farmers feast and it was superb. Will definitely be back in the future!

Nidaa Jabbar: Very nice place, staff is nice. When we came to order, they gave us a price of $85 for a Tea three-course meal that they had. When the first course came, one of the entrées was pork, we had told her we are 100% kosher so we can’t have that. So they adjusted my serving to a little arugula salad. Then came second course and they had chorizo inside a sauce and we told them we also can’t have that so they replaced it with two little bit cakes. The only protein we had was two little pieces, upper thigh that was split. Then we got the tab and it was $263 because it was $85 per person. We were never once told it was per person. Well I didn’t want to feel rude or rub my message often anyway, but I did email the restaurant and contacted them through their personal site and they have yet to even respond.

Julie Hong: Premium pairing was not worth it. Meal was okay. Overall I was very disappointed
Bradford Sledge: I don’t even know how to review this restaurant. It is not the type I would normally choose for myself, I went with a group. There’s no menu, you get what they serve. It’s heavily vegetarian but there was a little meat. Some of the options were yummy, some were a miss for me. I wouldn’t go back, especially given the price, but if you lean vegetarian and want something different and interesting, this might be just the place for you.

Hyla L: Really disappointed like everything else in st louis, rich people exploit our health. This used to be a reasonably priced, good for your health restaurant. I am sorry, but 100+ dollars for a 4 course meal I don't want is ridiculous. I was supporting this business from the start when they moved, but now I say go back to Cali
Adam Way: A good middle america fine dining experienceFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Wine Pairing, Chef's Tasting …More
— “‪Muskrat Steve‬” —: This is a bit higher end than I am used to. We did the tasting option and celebrated our engagement. The food was exceptional. We both enjoyed 95% of what was served and what we didn't like was due to palette preferences and not the quality of the food. The wine pairings were perfect. The staff was amazing. I didn't think the dessert was on the same level as the appetizers and main course but it still tasted well. Ultimately, I hope to return again. I need to have more of those turnip tacos.Vegetarian options: Veggie options were very well done.

Rachel Jones: Really disappointed in this most recent time dining in. Had great experiences here in the past, not sure what happened. Waited almost 2 hours to get our food. Wondering if the fried chicken recipe changed because it was overly breaded with lack of flavor. Side salad had like no dressing on it. The burger brought out came out raw in the center. Definitely not worth the price for the quality expected.

Ani Corless: Had the mushrooms, chicken sandwich and collards. All solid choices. Mushrooms were addictive so I wish there was a bit more in the order. Chicken sandy is made with dark meat. I chose spicy but it’s not spicy so don’t be scared. The collards were luxurious
Ivelis Rivera: These people never answer their phones. They also allow you to make reservations 1/2 hour before they close midday & thank god I noticed.
Eydie C.H: Chicken and waffles excellent; portions were better than ok. Try he biscuits were good tried that on my second visit ❗️Staff was very friendly, parking wasn’t bad we got lucky!Recommended dishes Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Sandwich …More

Adair Fuller: I had previously given Juniper 5 stars but dropped it a star after our last visit. The server was abysmal and we heard other people in our area complaining, one saying she could see the server on her phone instead of checking on her tables. We were checked on twice by her during our hour and a half in the restaurant. Thankfully other staff in the restaurant were able to attend to us, even fixing my drink after I ordered an NA cocktail and was brought something else. Our food arrived slightly cold and incorrect. The server messed up my husband's order and when we brought this to her attention, she said the kitchen could fix it but our ticket would go to the back of the line and would be a minimum of 20 minutes. As we were leaving my husband said to me if this was our first visit to Juniper we wouldn't be coming back. Thankfully we know this server is the exception not the rule, but we sincerely hope Sophie is not still a server the next time we visit.
Faybra Jabulani: The dining room is smaller than I thought it would be but the main courses were good. The caviar deviled eggs are too salty. Overall the experience was good and I would definitely eat here again.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Scott Mueller: Brunch at Juniper Restaurant in STL. Matt had Eggs Benedict, April had a hot chicken buscuit with a Great red pepper jelly on it. I had a Chilliquies that was excellent. Great food. I would come back.
Tony Thompson: Was a great Date night pick. The atmosphere was new and vibrant. Well lit and upbeat feel. The food was excellent, large portions at a reasonable price. The service was great for a busy night. Not a long wait once our order was taken. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mashed Potatoes, Juniper Burger, Bread Basket, Family Chicken Dinner …More
Misty Gilbert: Our server was great and the ambiance was wonderfully quirky without a hint of pretentiousness.
Jesse Shepp: I have wanted to eat here for the longest, we finally made reservations and I was disappointed. Like others have said the service was lacking and food was ok. The food is way over priced for the overall experience. It does seem as though their specialty may be the chicken which we did not have. Glad we tried it, however I would not go back.
John: Good food! Unfortunately, had probably the worst experience with a waiter that I've ever had in my life and won't be back. After arriving and being seated, we met our waiter, Liam. At first, Liam was polite and cheery while he walked us through the menu -- until we told him we were ordering fried chicken. At this point, Liam became openly hostile towards us, presumably because the total bill would be lower and thus his tip. For the few times he could be bothered to visit our table after ordering, he was monotone, dismissive and generally unpleasant. Yuck. We won't be back.
Anneka: I had a wonderful time here for my partner's birthday. I emailed ahead, asked for the window seat, we were running late, I called ahead, it was still reserved for us, for that I was v grateful & relieved.Food was great. I had fried chicken, delish, my partner had the grilled catfish, that came with fingerling potatoes. Mine came with mash. I love the bread basket, it has changed over the years from 5 pieces to 3. I miss those 2 other pieces but understand that might be too much for a lot of people. My only issue, is the floor!!! It is so slippy. I've never walked on a floor quite like this. I was wearing stiletto heels & had to take baby steps I was so scared I would slip & fall. I felt stupid walking so weird. My partner commented on it. It was like ice in those shoes... I wondered if it was just my shoes but I spoke to two friends who also had the same problem. One said that she did slip in her heels. So, owners/mgmt if you see this! Maybe you should add something to the floor so we can dress our best when we come over!
Medicare With Roz: Met with friends and were amazed at the quality and amount of food. Nothing was a disappointment. The cocktail drink menu had a lot of unique selections and even had a NA beer option. The fried chicken was flavorful and juicy, the jalapeño poppers and bread plates were delicious, the catfish, pork, ribeye and shrimp were all cooked to perfection. Everything was visually appealing, garnished with micro greens and plated with character. The only issues we had was asking for a set of silverware and not receiving them before the appetizer and then missing the breadcrumbs on the mac and cheese which really wasn’t that impressive. Our server was attentive and our food came out in a timely manner, which was great since we ordered so much. We will be back. Oh and expect to drop over $125 if you’re ordering every course. Thanks for the experience Juniper. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Christopher Webb: We happened upon this place after checking out Ameristar. So glad we found it. Atmosphere was great. Food was amazing. The highlights were the Mac and cheese, brisket ravioli and burger. For my fellow Southerners in town jonesing for sweet tea, this is the place to come. It was delicious, as well. Tim Carey: We tried this place on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Even though they were busy, they seated us right away, had the food brought out with hardly a wait and it was DELICIOUS. This place has the best fries and I cannot wait to have their pulled pork again. We’ll definitely be back.
Daniel Kiwacka: Wings were off the charts and don't miss the creamed corn. The lady soul cocktail is also tasty and dangerousFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

The Rideshare Foodie: Visiting town and enjoyed their ribs at their Hampton location and decided to make a visits here but when trying to place my order (busy street and parking) no one answers the phone! Online was unavailable to order and I walked and was told they were out of ribs and that they had something called trash ribs. I asked were they the same price as the regular which were 14 bucks and was told yes by the manager but then was rung up by the cashier who said it was 27 bucks. I asked was each location different prices and was told that they just updated their priced yesterday so maybe the Hamptons location hasn't updated yet. I don't knso what's going on at this location but something needs to be done. A wasted trip here smh
Hailey Sprague: Yum! The Mac and Cheese may just be the best I've ever had! The seasoning on the meats weren't my favorite, but the brisket was wonderfully tender.
Ajit Kalra: Here’s what you need to know: meat was serviceable but nowhere close to great. Ribs were over smoked, brisket was way too dry and lean, sauces just aren’t good - all 4 of them. Old fashioned was unbelievably sweet - like a dessert. Service was excellent. Price is fair. Overall I would not consider this a destination for myself but it’s serviceable.Smoked chicken wings were better than the Bork and beef which is just nuts because I don’t even like chicken very much. Max n cheese was quu up its good. Greens and tomatoes were served chilled that I really enjoyed. Seasoning was acidic and just ok but it was the right cold acid/salad to cut the rich meats.Overall, I was hoping for so much more as this was the 2nd salt + smoke we had to drive to during our visit to STL after the first one we tried (downtown close to the arch) was sold out of most meat.We sat outside on a beautiful summer day so ambiance was very enjoyable. We paid $120 for a meal for 3 adults with 1 drink each
Zach Parkin: On a whim, after a show we stopped in to grab a bite to eat. Every bite was amazing. Great flavors across the board.
Jaylene Arnett: Over priced and certainly not that great. Very average
Alex Garcini: I hate to say it but I’ve come to expect subpar BBQ from St Louis. S+S doesn’t really break the mold; they’re better than some of the stuff that passes for BBQ around here but nothing special. They have good flavors but the burnt ends especially disappoint
Brandie Sutton: So I had the brisket and the smoked wings. The brisket was amaaaazing! I feel like the wings would've been better if they weren't overcooked. The sides were mid.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kaila: It's been a little bit of a hit or miss recently with this Salt and Smoke. This visit, they nailed it. Especially with the service. Our server (Elena??) brought us refills on drinks several times without us having to ask and was friendly and quick. Pulled pork was moist and rib meat fell off the bone. I like their popovers and creamed corn! The times the food hadn't been great in the past, the ribs were salty or the pulled meats were dry.
Christine O'Neill: The prices are in line with other restaurants. Would have liked more options to choose from. Overall it was very good food, and the waitress was friendly and checked on us several times.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
mariahs: I went here specifically to try St. Louis style ribs while I was in town. The ribs here were dry, dry, dry! Almost like jerky. Very tough. The pit beans were good and the green bean and tomato salad was OK. I would not recommend stopping here.
Tim Davis: Placed a Grub Hub delivery order for one burger at 8:30. It wasn't ready by 10:00 when the kitchen closed so they cancelled my order. I was texting with the GrubHub driver who stood in the restaurant for an hour waiting. By chance, I'll be in the restaurant with a large group tonight reservation tonight. Hopefully I get to eat!

OLIO: what do users think?
Hannele Haapala: Best hummus, best pita, latter homemade and served warm. Delicious beets in creamy sauce.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tess Losada Miner: We are obsessed! Sit on the patio, get all the dips, the egg salad from heaven, and the roasted carrots which are divine - a cold glass of white wine in the sun under a parasol and wow you’re about as close to Europe as you can get in STL. Never change, Olio!!Recommended dishes King of Kings Hummus, Famous Egg Salad, Hummus and Pita …More
Johnson Lancaster: Second visit for me and a dinner guest. The food is amazing. The beverages were spot on.
Jeromy Boze: Great food. Patio is very nice.
Judy Ross: Food delicious, service not so great. We had a 11 am reservation. Several minutes after ordering we were told that they were out of several of their main dishes including the lamb and the chicken. In general we found the staff to be kind of rude. They brought out one entree and then the rest of the table had to wait 20 minutes for their meals. The outdoor seating is lovely— especially for those of us who love to garden.
Peter Maliha: Delicious food! Really hearty and fresh. You walk out feeling really good and satisfied. One of the best daytime spots in STL.
Pedja Maodus: Odlična jagnjeće butkica za rucak u 16h
Jess Watson: Very disappointed. Tock lost our reservation, but the host was kind enough to make it work and seat us outside. (Cold and windy but I don’t blame them for seating us outside, it was the reservation apps fault). Our server seemed mad to serve us and had very few words to say. The only time he was fast to return and check in on us was when we asked for the check. The starters were good but not worth it. Some $10-15 tiny plates are so delicious that you don’t care that it is basically $3/bite. This was not the case here. Shishitos we’re basically flavorless and the pickled veggies were cut so big and were so underwhelming in both flavor and presentation. The warm pita and the caponata was great. The only reason I might try Olio again. We got some cocktails that were average so nothing to say about those. We were so disappointed by our server that we didn’t even bother ordering dinner and we instead just got take out from Tin roof. I hope that the server was just having a bad day because he was unpleasant to interact with. Shame because we went there to celebrate my college graduation and were ready to enjoy some great food and cocktails.
Giancarlo Andreoli: Il cibo era ottimo, peccato che mancassero diverse cose dal menù
rosalind latham: I have been passing by this place for 3 years, so when my girlfriend wanted to go for her birthday dinner, I joined her. The place is so cute with its own herb garden and greenhouses. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. We sat down and ordered drinks, which were excellent. The menu, which is Mediterranean, isn't very big, but we ordered different entrees so we could see what they were. I had the lamb shank since the lamb shoulder with hummus was sold out. It came with 3 sauces and yellow rice and chickpeas. It was cooked just right and was very good. It was supposed to be a plate for two, but I could eat that all by myself. My only complaint is the glasses the drinks came in were smaller than the usual martini glass, and the chairs are auditorium chairs and too hard. We had a great time and will go back again.
Maggie Oliveri: Food was AMAZING!!
Amy Fitzgerald: Highly recommend! Amazing food and drinks and great service. Love the ambiance. Lots of vegan options too!
Adam Levine (Adam Nate Levine): i mean. we’re talking fresh food on a hot st. louis summer day? nothing hits the spot better
Joseph Ensley: Wow!!! The food was DELICIOUS and we could tell attention was paid to the quality of ingredients. Bartender was knowledgeable about various types of alcohol and liqueurs, and the drinks were fantastic! I would highly recommend the hummus with the pine nuts (can't remember the name at the moment), but it was so good we ordered one to go! I wish we lived closer because this would certainly be a regular spot to enjoy!
Sheri Lind: Incredible botanical garden with a gorgeous menu. Service could be improved all around. Disappointed they were out of olives. Perfect place for patio weather!
Devinee Stroud: My husband and I came to Olio for a date night and we had such a great experience! They happened to have a wine tasting happening while we were there and we had a great time enjoying the wines as well as chatting with the featured vineyard owners. The servers were friendly and cheerful. The food was so so delicious. My husband and I split the deluxe hummus, the bruschetta toast and the egg salad toast and it was more than enough for the both of us. I also got the ginger spritz which was really refreshing. We left full and satisfied! Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends next time.
Joshua Spurgeon: Very fun lunch date in a tastefully converted restaurant from a historic automotive shop/garage.Unique small plates of food to share and enjoy.Excellent service and delicious menu items in a memorable dining experience. They have indoor seating, a large outdoor patio area, and a small indoor private room for parties or reservations. My wife and I liked this place very much.
videsh deshmukh: Excellent food. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was very good.
Yigal Y: Wonderful atmosphere.Good service
Jason Hoffarth: Olio was great and the epitome of middle eastern cuisine! The chicken kefta and turkey thigh were both tender and juicy and the flavors were out of this world. You gotta check this place out!
Marzen Baldonado: Awesome Chai!

Shar’ice: I wish there was an option to put no stars because that's exactly what this place needs. Not so much of the establishment but the employees. One in particular.(security) There was a man who walked in without paying and I just started maybe you should have asked security to help you and the employee responds "Do you know who I am"in a very rude way. The comment was very unprofessional and I didn't appreciate that at all.
Black Queen: This is my first time visit in the dark room, and I absolutely loved it. The food was great. The atmosphere was gorgeous and the bands I cannot stop bragging about the band I would recommend it highly.Kid-friendliness: All of the students are seeing playing their instruments they brought me to tears they were really great
Leonard LePool: Ordered nachos not that good. The beef was microwaved. By the time it got to the table the meat started to look burnt & old looking. The bar was a joke. The MC said we would get an experience and he held true to his word. Jose Enrique Ferrer Berraondo: 100/100: Ladies and Gents.. Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse & Bourbon Bar. If you are local and have not been here, or if you are visiting St. Louis, this is a state of the art Steak House you must visit. While visiting St. Louis, we went to Hamilton Steak House and seated at the bar. The service we received from the bartender was exceptional. He went above and beyond to provide us with excellent recommendations and suggestions, not only on the menu but also on the cooking temperatures for our food. The food itself was outstanding, with a perfect taste and cooking timing. The place was also clean, well decorated, and in excellent shape. The lighting and ambiance were spot on, and the drinks were perfect. I especially enjoyed my old fashioned bourbon. I would strongly recommend the Chilled Jumbo Shrimp and the Crab Cakes (Please see Maryland Style Lump Crab Cakes). For Salad Plate we requested The Wedge and Classic Caesar. The Wedge was a delicious choice (Mine, LOL!) and the Classic Caesar wont stay back.My colleague ordered the Ribeye, while I ordered, the Dry Aged Bone-In Ribeye. Add on some butters, Roasted Garlic and Bourbon Peppercorn Sauce. The side were Baked Potato and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes.Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I would highly recommend Hamilton Steak House to anyone visiting St Louis. Cheers!
Matt Winte: The atmosphere, food, drinks and the whole experience is second to none. Service was incredible. Wine selection was diverse and had the perfect wine for the meal. The appetizers were incredible. Get the cauliflower fritters for an appetizer. Make sure to ask about the special. Had a few bites of my girlfriends steak and it was great. I had the venison it was incredible. Had desert cocktails, which were delicious. Come visit this incredible spot for the best vibes in the city.

Jeff Robinson (J-Rob): I'm never the 'send my entree back guy', unless absolutely necessary. I had to have my filet re-fired when a medium temp came out blue rare, rare at best. This is a steakhouse, but I understand that accidents do happen. I felt like any attempts to rectify this mistake lacked sincerity. Wait. What am I even saying? There weren't any attempts at all to rectify the mistake. Only the fakest apology that I've ever been given (waitress), a laughably dismissive "check-in" by what I guess was the manager (who offered absolutely no resolution whatsoever), and a 'deer-in-headlights' look from the 'hostess' - who may have possibly been an owner. Even a complimentary drink? Maybe? Nope. Considering the price of the menu & this restaurant group's experience, I simply expected a classier response. You should too. I will NEVER return. For $200+/couple, SPEND YOUR $$$ ELSEWHERE.
Jorden N: So aggressively underrated. Everything about this place is fantastic every time. Heck, the bartender will come over table side to explain new whiskeys and different awesome new cocktail recommendations.

Lilly Williams: This is the third time I’ve been and the service is always the same.. Average and when you have a problem it just gets worse. The first time (2021) i took my mom who ordered the tomahawk which was literally charred black on the outside. I ordered medium lamb chops which were also inedible because they were so tough& wheni told the waiter he became very defensive and rude. the same happened yesterday to me and my party all of the over priced steaks were over cooked PAST WELL and they were supposed to be medium. The best thing this steakhouse has to me is salmon which says a lot.
Damian De Pietro: Menu does not varies much. I orderd the Salmon and it was ok.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Colbert Ingram: The food was very good. Some things were maybe a tad under seasoned but not so much to where it wasn't edible. The crab cakes were "I'll have some more", excellent. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and the service was really about making sure you had a good experience and getting right . If something was off they made sure they corrected and got it right , right away no hassle. That's always 💯
