The London Tea Room: what do users think?

Karen Sage: Just a phenomenal experience - our server was so informed and pleasant and spent lots of time with us talking about the different teas - we elected to let her choose for us and each choice was excellent - highly recommendKid-friendliness: Lovely to see so many moms with their little ladies
DL Thomas: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cucumber Sandwiches Chicken Salad on Croissant Scones Desserts, Filled Croissants, PastriesMore
L Campbell: This was my first experience at the new location, and I was disappointed. Even though I had a reservation, it took almost an hour for our table of two to be served our tray. Other groups were seated after us and were served right away. When the tray did arrive, our server just dropped it and left without describing the items. The savoury items were phenomenal, but the sweet items were actually terrible. So bad, in fact, that I would recommend just getting the high tea (which is all savoury) and buying yourself a treat on the way home.
Bethany Spitzmiller: I debated between 3 or 4 or 5 stars for this review. If I'm being completely honest, the special event we went to wasn't really worth the additional cost. We went to the special Mother's Day afternoon tea event, and I think the standard afternoon tea downstairs would have been better. The food was a fun experience and the tea was some of the best I've had, but a glass of champagne and a string trio that played less than half the time we were there wasn't worth the additional cost that bumped the price up to $100 a ticket. I appreciated that mothers also received a small bag of tea, but I really think it's wrong to charge the same price for every ticket and only include that add on for mothers, especially since not all women can have children and men were guests too. If you only want to give an item to a certain group, it would be better to have it as an add-on item for the ticket rather than going around the room picking certain people to get them. Especially for Mother's day, when a lot of moms say "Oh, you can have mine," when they see someone else is going without. Service/atmosphere also brought down my rating. The musicians weren't great. They seemed to have long breaks, one literally yawned like they were SO bored at least four times, and they seemed to skip quite a few measures in certain songs and were very repetitive in the songs they did play. My mom saw one server drinking champagne in the back. The order people were served didn't match the order they sat down, and there seemed to be some confusion with seating. That felt a little disorganized. Also the chairs were very uncomfortable, hard wood, not great. I'd visit again to try the standard experience, but I don't think I'd book another special event without some changes.

jenna Fisher: Lovely place to have a special afternoon tea! The vegan menu was great!Vegetarian options: The bottom plate on my afternoon tea was a tomato hummus sandwich, a bowl of chickpea salad and a tiny avocado toast with balsamic vinegar. Then a scone w jam and 4 deserts that were lovely.

Carl Mitchell: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Karyn Vilbig: Great atmosphere, great tea, great food, great service. Excellent for a celebration, a friend date or a date date. Will definitely be coming back.
James Dancho: Walked in to the new location for the first time. We arrived 43 minutes before they close. Not looking to sit in, just grab something to go. Not food, just tea. Immediately, before we uttered a word, the host, told us no dine in service 45 minutes before they close. We told her, we just wanted tea to go. She informed us no to go service either. My wife was also interested in buying merchandise, but maybe the could not ring things out 43 minutes before they close too. Pretty poor customer service. My wife has been to the old location an innumerable amount of times. Recommended folks to this business. Bought gifts from here. This should be made aware to management or, at the very least, notate it on your website. Though I find it hard to believe this is the actual case.
Lisa Moll: I enjoyed high tea at the London Tea Room on a busy Saturday. There are only two menu options: high tea and afternoon tea. I chose high tea for its savory selections. My friend chose afternoon tea, which has many sweet offerings and costs a bit more. The hot teas were outstanding, and all of the items were tasty. The acoustics make it noisy, and conversation can be difficult. It's located in the city, not far from the City Museum. We felt safe going there on a Saturday morning.
W. Robert: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
kiersten schellhammer: So far I have been here twice and the experience both times has been great! The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, the tea is just excellent quality, the seasonal blends are delightful, and the food is complemented wonderfully by the teas!Vegetarian options: My friend is vegetarian and they had different options each time. She particularly liked the chickpea salad on a croissant.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and vegan options.
Paula Chor: Excellent new venue. Service, atmosphere and food are outstanding. Love the selection of teas...always hit the retail store.Vegetarian options: Available
Jules King-Aia: Second time I've come in to grab scones and clotted cream to take to my British mother, and third time they've been out of everything except tea. (Once at 11am, once at 2pm.) They were very kind, and the new location is certainly posh, but if you run out of stock early on a specific day, maybe the kitchen needs better management/planning.
Juliana Nine: This place is absolutely enchanting! It's like visiting England without having to pay for the plane ticket! The food is great and the tea is AH-MAZ-ING!!! Nikole: I'm a long term fan of the London tea room, I went to the old location many times and always reccomended it to friends so it's very disheartening to have to write this review. Our reservation for two people was at 1pm on a Saturday. We arrived at 12:50 and joined the long line of several parties who were waiting on the MIA hostess. Once she showed up it was relatively fast to seat all the waiting parties. We sat down at about 1:05 but didn't get any food until 2:40pm.Yes, we didn't get served food for an hour and thirty five minutes after sitting down. Our last dessert came at 3pm and we didn't finish our second pot of tea because at 3:30 we had been there too long and just wanted to leave. Our server was amazing and this in no way his fault. He was amazing. For a place with three dining rooms I could only count 4 servers who were running between the rooms. This was absolutely a management problem and it's very disappointing to see. I hope whatever is happening back of house to result in so few servers is fixed because I would hate to see this be the new norm for a once great place to visit.
Renae Cole: Nice place but not wowed by the food. Scones were more like biscuits and overdone. Nice tea selection. Nice presentation. But not worth the nearly $100 we spent for 2 people. Lita Lopez: I just tried to go have a hookah. It's friday night and I arrived at 9:10pm. I checked google before I left to see how much time I would have. Google says they close at 10. Perfect I thought. When I arrived, the man at the front told me that he couldn't make me a hookah because they close at 9:30. I told him that google stated they closed at 10. He said that the kitchen and hookah closed at 9:30 and that he could not make me one. I assumed it was 9:30 the way he was so adamant about not serving me. I stepped back outside and looked at my phone an it was only 9:10! Basically, it seems as though they close whenever they feel like it and serve whoever they feel like it. Don't get your hopes up and come here looking to be served during advertised business hours.

Cody Cummings: My wife comes from a Lebanese family so we were excited to try Taste of Lebanon. We grabbed some kibbeh, stuffed grape leaves and falafel to split. The food was priced really well, and we got our food pretty fast. We make a lot of the dishes at home, so I know what goes into making a lot of these dishes, and it’s a labor of love. It’s easy to walk to and parking is usually pretty available along the street.
محمد محسن النحلاؤي: The shewarma and hummus are AMAZING I swear it’s so good I KNOW he got his mother back their!only Arab mothers shawarma can taste that good!! The fries r good too! I’ve yet to try their other food and I can’t wait! Thanks Mom I know ur back there :)

Mustafa Hussain: Terrible food, terrible service. Also overcharged us. The beef was so dry I couldn't even put my PLASTIC fork through it. Honestly don't know how this place has good ratings at all. The waiter even argued with my friend about the steak being as dry and hard as it was.
Denis Zubovic: Quite a few issues from my first visit few weeks ago, from least to most important:Menu - appetizers are listed under both entrees and appetizers sections, making menu confusingFood: Chicken kafta was mediocre. Side of tabouleh was bad and tasteless, probably more than few days old. Side of spicy potatoes was good but not enough to save the dish.Experience: There were no adults working in the dining room. Two children who looked about age 10 were taking orders and serving food (hot food served in rather thin paper plates) I felt a bit uncomfortable with it. Not that I am against teaching kids value of work but they seemed too young to work at a restaurant.
Aisha R.: Ordered the vegan and meat platters for a family get together along with a few other dishes. Everybody loved it and planned to go back again.

Reo has a great staff, music and vibe for a good time.We were helped with great detail and have been going back ever since. My favorites are the peach/mango with oat milk and decaf tea and the strawberry/mango with oat milk and protein. The quesadillas are super good.Top 2 at the crib and 2 ✌🏾

We go all the time and we’re always greeted with a warm welcome. They have an excellent selection on teas and smoothies for everyone. (and when I say for everyone I mean for everyone!! You’re guarantee to find a tea or smoothie you enjoy!) They also have some lunch options and have a good amount of vegetarian options!

Dwight Ong: Lovely tea room and Amazing ExperienceI would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to get great tea and a great experience from the staff. There is a wide range of tea selections you can choose from that fits any taste palette. The feeling and care from the owner can definitely be seen in the store as well as the choices in tea selection. I would say this is definitely one of the many hidden gems in STL. I can personally recommend the milky oolong tea as it has a lovely milky nutty notes and will impress even those who do not care for sweeter teas. Again, such a wonderful place with a kind staff and I highly recommend you stop by!
conner hildenbrand: one of my favorite gems in Saint Louis. The staff is so kind and will help you order if you’re looking to try something new. they also have vibrant local art on the walls that you can buy. highly recommend!
Derek Barisas: This place is a gem. I am so mad that I slept on it for so long. The tea is great; the vibes are right; and the owner is a sweetheart. If tea isn't your thing, there is food and smoothies on offer. There is also a deceptively large backroom with study and chilling space. The kicker is that it is a Black owned business on one of the hippest streets in STL. Don't make the same mistake I did, start enjoying this place now.
Laura Rose: Green dream smoothie and a chicken quesadilla. Sooooo good!!
Austin: Teatopia is a warm, welcoming place that presents you with a wide variety of tea, smoothies, food, even some espresso drinks. You can stay for a pot of tea, get a cup to go, or take home some loose leaf tea. And if you're feeling lost or overwhelmed by the selection, you can count on someone behind the counter to steer you in the right direction. I've been visiting for a few years now and am still discovering new teas.

Rachana Baghel: We ordered a mix grill and lamb chops. The grilled items were too dry and the lamb chops were completely burnt on the edges. They were not edible at all. The salad did taste fresh as well. After raising this concern, the server did nothing and just left. We ordered a lentil soup to push the dry rice and some of grilled items in as we were so hungry. Food doesnt look like anything in the pictures. We were fooled. We paid them plus a tip and left. Hope they learn to treat customers better.Surely we will never go back to this place and will never recommend anybody!
Ron M: Vacationing and needed vegetarian food, which I can usually get at a Mediterranean place. It was about 5 pm and the place was empty, not a great sign. However, my wife and I really enjoyed our food, it was quite good. Don't expect stelar service. Warning: getting out of the parking lot can be hazardous.

Ria Rahaman: Wouldn't order again. The 4-piece lamb and rice came as 3-piece and was burnt to a crisp, no discernable meat flavor whatsoever, the rice was horrible. The 8-piece grape leaves were tiny. The falafel tabbouleh and kibbe were good.
Maria Jose Moya: 100% recomendado se convirtió en mi lugar favorito. Muy deliciosa comida.
Sukanto Mondal: It was a nice medterian resturents. I like their food. The leg of lamb was fantastic. I found everything good. But the i ttink briyani rice could have been better, but this might be in comparison to indian briyani flavour. There is free parking available.
Evan Cooney: My family has gotten take-out here several times and it has always been a treat. The hummus and pitas here are so good, and I can never stop eating them. All the dishes that I've tried have been spectacular. I had this tomato and okra soup with rice once, it was tasted pretty strange to me at first, but it was still great. I recommend anyone who wants to expand their taste horizons to give it a try. The inside is charming and very comfortable. The staff are always wonderful too. Thank you everyone at Majeed for creating such a great restaurant.Vegetarian options: The tomato soup that I had was spectacular, and the hummus and baba ganoush could be a meal on its own. I could eat it with a spoon and be perfectly happy, it's so good.Parking: The parking is on Gravois, it's nothing special, just a lot. There's always plenty of space. Probably about 15 spots.Wheelchair accessibility: You don't need to walk up any stairs to get to the door, so I think it should be wheelchair accessible. I don't use a wheelchair, though, so I'm not really sure.Dietary restrictions: Everything here is halal, so Muslims can eat it.
Rachel S: This place is very authentic and has delicious food (plus, it smells great and the atmosphere is cozy). The chicken curry flavor is amazing, and the falafel is among the best I’ve tasted! 🍛They served bottled water immediately - if anything, the inability to get refills was a downside, but it wasn’t a problem and I didn’t ask for more.

Karebear: If I could give no stars I would. First time customer here and I love middle eastern cuisine so I wanted to give this place a try. I placed an order for the Fatoush Salad with Chicken, Cheese Fatayer and Shish Tawuk Sandwich. First off I would like to say that the atmosphere was nice and it was a pretty large space. Great for large groups and there was outside sitting. I ordered carry out and still had to wait 45mins for my food to be done upon arrival. Upon receiving my food and finally getting home to eat, I can officially say that I will not be returning. The food was inedible and was not fresh. Totally wasn’t even worth the wait! The Fatoush Salad had soggy pita bread and the added chicken smelled old. The 4pc. Cheese Fatayer seemed to be a pastry right out of the freezer, the outside pale and not crispy or brown. Finally the Shish Tawuk Sandwich….broke it open to see what I was dealing with and it had barely any garlic paste, three small pieces of chicken, peppers which shouldn’t of been on there, lots of cilantro, and the pickle was soggy not crisp. Threw my food into the trash. Do not recommend this place. Not wasting another dime at this establishment. Will travel elsewhere.
Lejla Rahmanovic: Great portion sizes for the price! Friendly environment!! Will be back many more times

Lord Rev. Shaun Boswell: Well. Came in was told to sit where we liked. Was brought menus. There was only two other people there. Interior was fairly basic. Wood walls blue false skylights, and some cowboy movie playing on TV. Music was appropriate. Two water bottles were brought to our table, these you will be charged 1$ for, so do not assume they are free. The Syrian chicken and potatoes was good. Mixed plate meats were very dry, the yogurt helped but not much. The kibbeh came with a small salad mix and were extremely hot, and came after the entrees were brought to us. Food meh, service meh. Overall meh.

Cornflower Coffee & Tea: what do users think?
Tara: I really hope this place opens back up!
Brian Jennrich: Good chai latte and a very nice barista
John Loza: Omg so arty
Aaron McIntosh: Art supplies and coffee and books. And a clean bathroom. Need I say more?
Destiny Woods: Womderful tea selection!
PainfullyAware: A really nice place with friendly staff and good coffee; haven't tried the food, yet. The place is small, but comfortable.
E S: Coffee was good. But one person behind the counter making food and coffee causing 20 min wait just for some caffeine is annoying.
Day June: Great atmosphere.
Alex Wiley: Great little spot inside an art supply store. Lots of tea options.
Katie Lorentz: I love this place. I only rated them short a star because sometimes service is kind of slow because they generally only have one or two employees working the cafe. The staff are absolute sweethearts though. Drinks and food are great (love the classic quiche). Atmosphere is lovely (sometimes a tad loud). The art shop is adorable and will tempt you to spend all your money.
Nate Johnson: Great place. Enjoyed a nice Green Tea Latte in a comfortable environment. Connected the art supply shop, just in case I had inspiration!
John Esposito: This place rules. The shop is spacious, comfortable, gets a lot of daylight, plays good music - it's a great place to post up and read or get some work done. The staff are unfailingly friendly. The food is good - go for the apple and cheese or the cheese and jam sandwich. The teas are delicious and all priced at under $5 a pot. I'd love to see them expand the tea list a little, but the selections they have are all good and cover all the bases (black, green, and white teas and one (peppermint) herbal tea.)tl;dr: stop in here for tea and a sandwich on a day where you need some time in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing World Of Foctor Fho: Amazing coffee and pastries!
Thomas Hickey: Kind staff and calm vibes. Attached to the art supply store, this cafe offers more than just lattes and espressos. The collection of books and art supplies are delightful to browse.
Charles Coonce: If you are in the area, you absolutely must go. Their teas are fantastic—some of the best we’ve had. Their coffee is also stunning. The coffeehouse/art supply venue works wonderfully, and the quality of their stock is great. If you need high-quality paper craft, art supplies, and enjoy quality food and drink, you honestly have no excuse not to come here.Staff was pleasant and helpful, and that is hard to beat!
Benjamin Powell: This is a perfect cafe for those times when you need to be surrounded by creativity. Great coffee, interesting specialty drinks, and delish bites. When’s the last time you had an egg salad sandwich? Because it’s probably been too long, and you should just make it happen here.
M E: Amazing coffee by como coffee
mike bellamy: 16 ounce cold brew hit the spot. Check out Bowood across the street.
Matthew Sims: Excellent coffee and tea. Coffee beans are supplied by Coma who are offering some of the best in the Midwest. Plenty of comfortable seating and having instant access to St. Louis Art Supply (which is connected to Cornflower Coffee in the same building is great).
Charity Holland: Interesting space with tasty food and drinks
Scot Hawkins: Terrific bookstore/art supply store/coffee shop. Fun vibe, nice lunch menu.

Rekyks: So we have been coming here off and on for a couple of years. It is one of my favorite restaurants around. The food is so freaking good. The service is such a hit or miss thing. We went there, the day of me getting released from the hospital on a Tuesday at noon. It was busy as hell, and there was guy attending and he was swamped. So I do not hold the service against them, it just seems they may be understaffed.Otherwise it's order at the counter, and food is brought up front and you can then sit where you want to eat. It's a pretty no frill place. You get what you are ordered and it comes quickly! Will continue to hit this Gem in St. Louis
TraaaaGiiiiKz: Beyond terrible experience. Ordered a gluten free salmon entree with rice for take out. When I got around to eating my food, I noticed that the fish was raw. Called the restaurant & the employee that I spoke with said to come in for a replacement meal. Next day I go in to give it another try, because everybody makes honest mistakes, right? Wrong, at least in this case. When my food was handed to me, that same employee in a very sarcastic tone said "don't worry... I promise that it won't be raw this time". Again, I get home to eat my food, and it indeed was NOT raw. Not only was the fish completely burnt, but it had vermicelli noodles (not a gluten free ingredient) on it as well. As mentioned above, I truly find it hard to believe that this was an accident. Seems like something done out of spite, which could've ended very badly for the restaurant if I had consumed the gluten that I'm very allergic to. Gave the restaurant yet another call, spoke to the same employee, and it seemed as if he had anticipated the phone call. Acknowledged what I said and offered for me to come get a 3rd replacement meal. No thank you! It's not about replacing the meal, it's about taking certain situations more seriously. R Cusick: Now this is a restaurant. Tons of seating. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Great service. Clean bathrooms that went along with the Mediterranean theme. And best of all, absolutely stellar food! We'd had takeout from The Vine, but never eaten there. But we stopped in and I ordered the Lebanese Nachos and falafel. The nachos are INCREDIBLE and the falafel made for too much food, but...get the falafel. So good, reheats perfectly. The nachos are pita chips with hummus, cabbage, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, parsley, and green onion, with a dollop of what I believe was sour cream, maybe yogurt. The falafel comes with pickles, pickled beets (?), pepperoncini, and tomatoes, plus one entree or the other came with fresh pitas. We both had leftovers.I'm going back for those nachos the minute I'm hungry again. Seriously, my favorite dish I've tried in ages. And it's vegetarian, likely vegan without the sour cream.Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options! The menu is probably 50/50.

MaryTodd Cannon: Our family’s go-to place when we order out. The falafel is outstanding. The hummus is great. Can’t go wrong with The Vine
John K: We dined there and I ordered the mixed Shawarma, chicken and beef, hummus and the Mango Mania smoothie. Great flavor and the chicken was very tender. The beef was chewy so I recommend sticking with just chicken. The hummus was served in a plastic container and my reaction was this wasn’t made on premise. My daughter’s take was the restaurant was geared for mostly take out. The pita served with the hummus was not warmed. This made it a bit chewy. The smoothie was Delicious. I would order it again. This is a very casual restaurant and it’s family friendly. No parking lot so you’ll park on the street. You go to the counter to order then they’ll call your name when your food is ready.
Jamie Bronder: BEST FOOD IN TOWN! Could not ask for more flavorful dishes. Ari and his team are hardworking, considerate, and most importantly great chefs! Thank you to everyone at the Vine for making our wedding day so special. Every guest raved about how wonderful the food was. The Vine will forever be my favorite STL restaurant!
Brett Wahle: We asked the Vine to cater our wedding. Not only was the food absolutely incredible, but Ari and the team did everything they could to work for us (which I cannot say for every vendor). We asked to have food ready the day before, and the day of, we asked for them to use our catering pans, and several calls and amendments to the order etc. And while this was obviously more burdensome for them, they accepted these requests with out hesitation. You can tell that they have lots of experience catering to large groups. On the food: the meat is flavorful and moist, and all of the other dishes are rich, and satisfying (everything you would expect from them). The price is unbelievably fair - I do not know where to find food of this quality for this price. It was a great break from the traditional wedding catering. We cannot thank Ari and Team enough for making our wedding unforgettable.
Matthew Kamper: Great falafel and chicken shawarma! Fries were really great as well! Reminded me of my time in the west bank!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Hummus and Pita, Falafel, Side of French Fries …More

Usman Zia: We have been dining here for the last 13 years, but after Covid, their price has gone up (understandable) and the portion size drastically reduced. Unfortunate, we will not be coming here next time.
Karsten H Kessler: Atmosphere is in keeping with any middle eastern fast food establishment. The quality of the food is excellent. Especially the freshly done fruit and vegetable juices. The carrot smoothie is definitely a winner.Vegetarian choices such as Falafel are available and better than average.Parking is a bit ridiculous, but that just the location, not their fault.Parking: Find your parking on a side streetWheelchair accessibility: Front door is pretty old style but otherwise not much hindrance to get in.
DL Williams: The food was good. Portions were huge. The chick pea soup was outstanding. Confusion on access to the rest rooms for paying customers was my only issue.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Angel M: Friendly service, good coffe and great bakery items
Tariq Hassan: Very nice seating area, fast service. very tasty pizza and snacks. Excellent Arabian coffee. Great middle eastern pastries and ice cream . Reasonable prices. i encourage every one to support this family owned business.
Jaime Odom: This place is amazing. I've been wanting to come here for the longest time. My children, grandchildren and I were leaving a restaurant after eating lunch and we all wanted something sweet but didn't want anything from the restaurant. Then I remembered this place. Let me tell you, all of the baklava is so good, so many different flavors. We also tried the different espresso coffees and those were perfect. My son wanted ice cream, and he thought it was really good. The young gentleman who helped us with everything was so nice, very patient and efficient. The atmosphere was foreign, but divine. We will absolutely be coming back here!
William Vallellanes: Great place! Had hot and iced coffee both very well made and tasty. We tried the chocolate pecan baklava and it was delicious! Great atmosphere will be back to try the various ice cream flavors!
Doris E. Lugo Ramírez: Good place with a awesome services.
Mariah Davis: Amazing Atmosphere and great baklava!
Misty Nelson: Good ice cream
Carol Boss (CarolBossArt): Love the coffee and baklava. My son hits the ice cream pretty hard and husband likes the gummy thingies i can't remember the name of. They are always kind and courteous.
Jacob Smith: Awesome Ice Cream & Unique Pastries. Very friendly staff!
Leon Thomas: Did not know I loved Baklava so much until coming here. Shout out to Salim for the excellent customer service and the amazing americano!
Nig Ikwon: Nasty everything takes like play dough.
Janis Huckaba: Best assortment of fresh baklava in St. Louis. Service is friendly.
Todd Guzdial: Placed a large order here and everything was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!
Nathan Powers: I have to admit the ice cream is what caught our eye after going to Mike's Italian beef next door. Well we did get the ice cream. We also walked away with a number of traditional Middle East desserts. All of the desserts we got were delicious, including the baklava and the harissa cake. I also got some kind of Iraqi bird nest that involved filo dough and a big pile of pistachios. The only thing I wish is that they had the price is posted of what you were choosing but rest assured nothing is overly expensive. I think the most I paid was $3 for one thing.Pick out anything from the counter and surely you will enjoy it. Be adventurous. You can never go wrong with baklava.Edit: went back here again for the first time after 9 months and it is still amazing. They also posted papers with descriptions of the desserts.
Samantha Eastman: The Turkish delights are to die for. Also, the staff are some of the nicest people you’ll meet.
Gordon House: Me and my lady went there to try the place and the dining room was full accept the last booth, when we went to sit there the employees had their computer stuff all over the table so we couldn’t eat there, the guy said there is seating outside, I said in 90s weather ? I told my lady, let’s go they don’t want our business or they wouldn’t have hogged up the last booth with their employee stuff. Counter guy gave us a dumb look so we left, won’t be going there again.
Gilbert Walker: Sedara’s selection of Middle Eastern pastries is the best in St. Louis. The staff is always friendly and the pastries are exquisite.
Irish Racion: I love all the baklava! The place is elegant and clean. Would definitely come back again.

Traveling Tea: what do users think?
Adam Sickels: Good teas. I would place a bigger sign up on the awning saying Teas to promote the place.
Cindy La: Cute tea shop! They have a ton of variety. I just wish there was seating, even just a couple of chairs. There's a park nearby with benches though.
Jean-Michel Paquet: Amazing taste, Friendly staff! Recommended!
Sarah Al-Zahrani: Best local tea place you could ask for! They also have an online ordering service. I've loved the tea I've bought from them, I'm also glad they carry teas suitable for gongfu!
Jen West: I've found so many great quality teas here. I love the shop owners knowledge of tea, her selection, and stories about traveling around to find them. Last time I tried the mystery sample pack in addition to my usuals and it was a surprising and fun way to try teas I wouldn't normally pick.
Ashley Glenn: Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they had no issues answering all of my questions! I will definitely be back!
Tony Bonsignore: I like this place a lot, and I am looking forward to trying more of their teas!
Daniel Teasley: Best place for quality tea I’ve found in St. Louis. Selection great and service is outstanding.
Michael G: Fantastic teas but the owner and staff are even more fantastic. They are always willing to help you get the right tea!
Roy Ogle: Very good tea with conscientious owners
Kris Johnson: An amazing local business that provides quality, thoughtfully sourced tea! Katerie and Bill are very knowledgeable if you have any questions and even during the pandemic, they have looked for ways to accommodate customers, while still acknowledging their own needs and the needs of the environment (being aware of waste, sustainability, etc.). I'm a semi-daily tea drinker and have been getting tea here for years and have never had a bad experience (with shopping there or the tea). Also doesn't hurt that Strange Donuts is next door too 😁
Adam Herberg: They had exactly what I was looking for, and seemed to know it before I asked!
Michael Kilfoy: If you like tea, any kind, this is your place. Don't let the small shop fool you, hey have a huge selection of wonderful tea. Their staff is smart and super friendly. I definitely recommend going.
Caleb Woods: Good tea but very small inside
Julie Meglan: Really cute local tea shop. Most of their teas are loose leaf. The quality of the tea is great so it is worth the slightly higher prices than what you would buy at the grocery store. They have samples of the loose tea out so that you can smell them before purchasing.
Terry Woods: Small shop. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Martin Michael: Nice selection of teas. Friendly and helpful service. Not overpriced.
Tim Dusek: Nice place to shop for orangic tea. Clerk very helpful in answering our questions.
HonestlyAnna: Sample teas that have low prices and taste teariffic!
Donna Hughes: Very nice people. Have as nice selection of teas.

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea The Grove: what do users think?
Rebecca Douglas: The coffee is literally inedible. It tastes like chemicals. They gave me the completely wrong melt, they gave me the one that was “unavailable online” I ordered the turkey and did not receive it. The one that I did get is also disgusting. They were out of parfaits at 7 am when it was available online. and when I tried to call to get a refund you literally cannot call them because their voicemail is full. Don’t waste your time here. Every time I’ve been here it has been disappointing and the staff is insanely rude and lazy every time. When I walked in today they were both on their phones, barely even looked up to tell me they didn’t have the parfait.
Arnette Kerr: Star who? This place is the best.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Coffee & Pastries …More
Rachelle N: Needed to grab a quick breakfast and coffee on the way to the office. Parked right out front no waiting once inside. I ordered a caramel crème and a turkey on bagel. I enjoyed both. Inside is cool. All the windows make it a great spot for people watching. Love the big plants!!
Robert Abraham: Meh. Nothing special here.Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Abrielle McLemore: I am a coffee fiend that always likes to try new things. Anytime I come in, the staff at Sweewaters is always so helpful when I need a recommendation. I’ve had both their coffee and tea as well as some of their baked items, and every single thing I’ve tried has been delicious. Whether you dine in, order togo or delivery you won’t be disappointed!
Ellen Bailey: Arrived 40 minutes before closing time and barista said they couldn’t serve coffee because they shut down everything thirty minutes to an hour before closing each night. As a business owner myself I can’t imagine turning away customers 30 to 60 minutes before the cafe is even closed. I’ve been a sweetwaters customer for a few years, but I won’t be back unless this was a fluke and the owner or manager corrects this mishap.
Stella O'Hara: Pretty good, the food was kinda bland but the drinks were awesome. I got a matcha that wasn't to sweet, for sure recommend. 💕
Dave D: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Coffee & Pastries, Latte CoffeeMore
Tierra Perkins: Literally in the building now. Had to stop for my review. I was referred to this place, so I came by same day. Entered, no greeting. As a brand new customer, was not sure how the drinks worked, or meals , since meals are not listed on the menu. Staff had no patience or kindness. Placed order right around me instead of being of any assistance. She spoke with me with a irritated tone, like I did something to her.The male appeared kind to another customer, but he just followed the lead of the female which was disappointing. I will not be coming back. I wanted to come out of character so badly, but I would have been the only one seen as doing anything wrong. Never coming back. I was disgusted by the service I just threw my 6$ drink in the trash. People like this make you want to escalate physically with them just for the blatant disrespect. In days where people are having it hard enough, you never when you will be someones final straw. Glad Im in my right mind.
Jennifer Nolen: This was just okay for us. It's a great option for people who like Starbucks, but don't want to go to yet another Starbucks. Lots of fun and froofy drinks as well as the old standbys. I don't know if it's always like this, but when we visited 90% of the other people were there on their laptops and it was very quiet. Like, library quiet. We felt awkward having a conversation.Friendly service, great location.Street parking available or free parking in a lot on Sarah.
Kat Thomas: My drink, the Dreamy, was delightful. They were out of several things: I initially wanted the French Vietnamese au lait. Out. I heard another couple come in and they were told they were out of breakfast sandwiches. Only 2 maple pecan pastries in the case. However the service was very good..The bathrooms were out of toilet tissue. They would not take cash. I will not be back.Parking: Limited parking area.
Penney Kols: Bland, tasteless coffee! Or, was it the barista who yelled at me relentlessly about how NO ONE accepts cash anymore (warning, make sure you have your Daddy's credit card when placing an order). Tasteless and classless!
Megan Clontz: Too expensive for the quality. Also out of most ingredients.
PROGRESS ALL DAY: The drinks aren't the best in town but for it to be right next to Chroma apartment I guess its descent. My only advice to the owners is ensure everyone behind your counter speaks and welcomes the customer in. I don't always get a greeting when i come into Sweet Waters....not by all the staff (which is only usually 2 people) that should be an easy task for them.
Kate B: Delicious hot chocolate and nice place to chill. I have no idea if there's parking typically available, I parked on Choteau (not Manchester).Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Maxwell Werner: I had the mocha ice dragon after talking over what I like with the barista for a few seconds. They were very helpful on drink reccomendations, and in the end I picked out the perfect treat. They are sit in as well, and I was able to enjoy my drink and play on my phone! Thank you so much for the wonderful service!Parking: You're gonna need to parallel park or park at a nearby business lot that will allow it.
Kenny KTL57 Lucas: Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Christopher: Very friendly and great selection
