Atlanta Nicole: I haven’t been by in a long time but every time I come I end up finding exactly what I’m looking for. This is the best store out of all the metaphysical stores that’s I’ve been to. It doesn’t just solely focus on the basics and is great for more in-depth work.

The pricing is very good as well. I was able to get everything I needed, and a lot of stuff I didn't, and didn't spend all that much. Crystals, figure candles, a specific raccoon bone, earrings (with crystals!), chicken feet, etc. They had everything we needed! I live in Springfield but will definitely make this drive every few months to get what I need because it is 100% worth the 2+ hour trip each way.

I've been wanting to find a prettier ring but not from just any lame corporation so when we found the one in the picture I added here, I was so ecstatic that not only was it beautiful but it came from a place that is close to my partners and her family's heart! This store has encouraged me to try and better understand crystals and other precious rocks. There were so many to choose from but I will be better prepared to pick a couple out next time we go by. This is in the top 3 metaphysical stores IN THE COUNTRY!!!

However if you're looking for a place that will offer you assistance, I would not recommend here. The young man that was working today seemed in a very bad mood, did not even acknowledge me until I came up to the counter to pay, and even cussed in front of me after hanging up the phone with another customer. Great products just a horrible representation of what the store is all about.

Lover of Light: Placed a phone call and received a kind recording announce they can't come to the phone because they may be with a customer. So, we drove 30 minutes to downtown to shop there. We drove by and a big orange sign on their door reads, " Yes, we're open!!!" We find parking a few blocks away and walk to the store and the door is locked because they are CLOSED!! Really, with so many way to communicate the shop could have just reported they were closed and saved their customers a lot of time and hassle.

No one answered the phone number. And I even used the door knocker. No answer. Very disappointed today...

Marcy The Diesel Gypsy: I use to love going in here to buy Crystal's but lately the sales staff seems disconnected (except to their phone), there's never anything new, when they run out of a particular crystal, they just replace it with something random. It's ok to visit once or twice, but boring as a steady supply. Wish they were more involved. They expect their merchandise to sell itself, I guess. That's a good thing, if it's changed up now and then. Will probably just start buying online.

Shawn Lynn-Bequette: My family and I recently shopped at this store. We where looking for crystals and jewelry. My mother purchased 3 rings for the women in the family. I was told by the sales person that my ring was aquamarine in a 925 silver setting. It's not. In fact none of the rings are real. All glass with plated silver. I will never buy anything here again!Your reputation as a metaphysical store selling fake jewelry is not a wise choice!!!

Austin craft: It was crowded because of the festival going on this weekend but overall everything was great. Took the family to sea life and afterwards had lunch at Curry in a Hurry. Which was the highlight of my trip.

Frecky Lewis: I had to update my review after visiting Crown Center again last weekend with my family. I'm not sure if the owners of the mall know this, but in order to sell things your stores have to be OPEN. The stores in this mall all close at 6:00 pm on Saturday. We had just finished our dinner at Fritz's in the mall, and at 5:45 we walked over to their special "Fairytale" exhibit that was advertised as being open until 6:00. We found the door locked and couldn't get in. When another family came out through the door we poked our heads in and were told by the desk attendant "It's closed." I asked if the signs were wrong and pointed out that they said the exhibit was open until 6, and she said "No, the signs are right, but we stop letting people in before that." She had no hint of friendliness or sympathy for our two obviously very disappointed children. To the mall management: If you close your exhibit at 5:40, don't advertise that it is open until 6 -- or at least, advertise that fact clearly. Knowing the stores would be closing in 15 minutes, we wandered up to the toy store on the top floor and were told even before entering the store "Just so you know, we close soon." I assured them that we wouldn't take up any of their time by spending money there. We made a few quick passes down the aisle at 5:50 and it was clear that the employees had no interest in anything but shooing everyone out. Perhaps they could have said "We close shortly, but is there anything we can help you find quickly?" Nope. No interest in making sales. Amazingly, there were countless other families wandering around the mall and surrounding area at 6:15 looking for something to do, and I guarantee many of them would have spent money in these stores. People say retail is dying; after visiting Crown Center, I can attest that retail isn't just dying, it is committing suicide.

Absolute shame that they knocked down a classic part of Plaza architecture for someone who has decided to pull out. That's going to be a hard recovery and I suspect that the soul of the plaza is going to continue to get sucked out of the place by developers. Update: sure enough. Plaza lighting really sucked this year.

Les Bro: It is always nice to get to the Plaza. It's a great date night place. I love it in the summertime in the evenings. The fountains are beautiful and romantic.There are lots of restaurants and stores to stroll through during the day. If you are visiting Kansas City, the Plaza is a great place to go. You will see all types of people, especially in the summertime. It is a great place to people watch.Unattended teens have a 9:00 pm, police enforced curfew.

Carter Taylor: It’s a known issue that the restroom accommodations are a huge issue and that the lack of publicly accessible facilities is a major failure of planning, a barrier to those who have disabilities and discriminatory against women. It does not matter if it’s you or your small child, they will not let you use the restrooms in many stores and even restaurants. They’ll send you down the street and you have to hope that the one place that lets others use the bathroom will be open, have no line, and not be out of order like they often are when handling that volume of people. These policies may have been put in place to prevent the unhoused from being in the area, but they majorly impact other groups as well.

Colby Muller: I’ve been using Spanky’s ever since I got into Magic: The Gathering about a year ago. Their website is always very reflective of what they have in store, even if it’s a $.10 card. Ordering online is easy, the store has a huge selection of cards, boxes, mats, dice, pokemon, and anything else you could think of! I’ve been meaning to write my review for a while, but today I placed an online order for about 240 cards (!!) and went to the store today for the pickup. I totally forgot that the Phyrexia release was the same day. When I got there they weren’t able to fill my order but were very nice about it. The guy at the counter (sorry I didn’t catch your name) made it a clear point that they wanted to accommodate ME! We got my order setup to ship whenever they got it filled, which I’m sure isn’t a fun task to deal with during a set release.Long winded, but this store is clean, awesome, and cares about its audience. I highly recommend them and plan to use Spanky’s Card Shop for all my Magic needs for years to come!

Nathan Duvall: We are from Oklahoma and are glad we stopped in! This is one of the nicest looking card shops I have walked into. It was clean and esthetically pleasing. The artwork on the wall is beautiful. They are stocked with all Trading cards but their Magic the Gathering and Pokemon section were stocked with old items. I enjoy seeing older sealed products but they are hard to come by in stores. I picked up a few duel decks and packs. This is a great place to shop for singles or sealed product. They have the most product I have seen in one shop. If this was my LGS I would spend a lot of time in here.

Brycen Palmer: Best card shop in KC. Clean, great atmosphere, chill player base, good prices. Not docking a star but could use some more space, it does get crowded at times.

Plant Jesus: the prices are reasonable at best but the people noticed when I wanted to ask a question when they were talking with each other and all of the gems are really pretty and smooth 10/10 would spend my birthday money here

Cavin Bardi: My wife introduced me to this place! They have quite a few new age type items, great selection of Tarot Cards, crystals, stones, incense, etc. Great prices and they even have a meditation room. If you're into that kinda stuff, it's definitely a place I'd go. (For me personally it's more of an interest than anything else, but it was a great experience!)

Tre'Ana Brown: In case you don’t read until the end. I am a black woman for reference.I went in and the selection was incredible compared to my usual spot which is why I visited after seeing pictures online, the customer service was absolutely terrible.I received an awkward greeting and was not asked if I needed help with anything or made to feel welcome at all. They almost seemed disturbed I was there interrupting their private conversation.There were 3 women present and all the vibes were off. If they would’ve even half tried, I was prepared to spend a pretty penny as I do consistently at my usual shop and could’ve turned into a potential regular customer for them.They physically had exactly what I was looking for and more.Regular customers came in after me and I walked right out after I saw the way that they were treated in comparison to me. The regular customers were two Caucasian men and I am a black female. That’s all I’m saying on that. Very weird vibes. I will never be back and I don’t recommend.

Robin Morey: It’s a wonderful shop, they have an abundance of Tarot and oracle cards available, many different crystals and an inviting mediation room. The shop had a great energy and smells wonderful too!

Becca Brien: Literally the best selection of tarot/oracle cards I have ever seen in my entire life. They have SO MANY decks. If you can think of it, they probably have it. The prices aren't too bad on them either. There is also a super neat and peaceful area in the back where they display a lot of statues and crystals. The crystal prices are fair as well. They also have a lot of neat odds and ends. I would 100% visit again just for the tarot/oracle selection alone. I was in pagan heaven.

Katt Rogue: Visited the shop with my friend and it was my first time there. The shop is huge they have TONS of variety in tarot/oracle decks. A big selection of candles. Huge variety of crystals also. Ladies were super nice and i got some super cool flourite and bloodstone. I definitely plan on going back and getting more stuff 3 45/10 would definitely reccomend
