Breeanna Jackson: My husband and I came here for my birthday and it was amazing! The location was easy to get to with a lot of parking available! The place is beautifully decorated. We purchased the rejuvenate package which included the cryotherapy chamber, infrared sauna, 60 min massage and a steam treatment afterwards! We left feeling so relaxed. I was lucky to find the Laya Center after seeing specialists regarding aches and pains I was having in my elbow and arm. The specialists told me that their was nothing I could do but just rest and give it time to heal. A friend told me about the Laya Center and the whole body cryotherapy. I started trying the cryotherapy and after about 4 sessions, I began to notice significant improvement in the pain in my arm and elbow. I also started notice just an overall better feeling in my whole body after cryotherapy sessions. I am a big believe in cryotherapy and continue to use it often. I would highly recommend the Laya Center.

Aida Baghdasarian: When I first walked in, a sense of calm came over me. It has been a rough first of half of the year. The 2nd half has been taking care of my body and soul. Joe was a great listener and recommended some other treatments to help with my radiation issues that I received in my head area. I did try the HBOT, hyperbaric Oxygen therapy, which I would do again. The first 5 minutes your ears will be hurting, but pain will go away. You can take an actual book in there to read, no phone or tablets. I had a tablet and was told it could ruin my battery, so I took a nice nap in the pod. Then it was followed up with a 20 min infrared sauna. They have a great selection of tea. I am not much of a tea drinker but ordered the one with Tumeric. It was delicious and not your typical tea. And lastly, IF THERE IS PEACH COBBLER, YOU NEED, YOU MUST PURCHASE IT. YES ALL UPPER CASE FOR PEOPLE IN THE BACK TO HEAR.. This peach cobbler was vegan, I'm not, but it was so .... sooooooo delicious! I am planning on signing up to be a member. Happy Day all!

Susie Stika: I had a terrible experience with Dr Ray Brovont. I didn't feel heard as he only ever asked me 2 questions about myself before providing the treatment. He called me by the wrong name on at least two different occasions.I made it clear that I did not like to be touched or hugged and he continued to touch my hand and he forced me to hug him at the end of our session while I tired to pull away. When dealing with people with past trauma its important to listen and practice consent.I left the entire experience feeling violated and unheard.

Olivia Mae: This clinic has changed my life in ways that nobody could possibly understand. I'm only partially through my initial treatment plan and I'm already able to go a week or two without significant pain; which is absolutely incredible. I have permanent, excruciating, life altering nerve damage to my entire lower body from a rare spinal injury treated with a failed laminectomy/discectomy on two different levels. I had no hope for the future and no real motivation to actually LIVE my life. If you're a pain patient I know you understand what it's like feeling like your body is your own personal purgatory. Your days are filled with coping mechanisms and survival. I was initially on the fence between Bloom and another clinic in the metro area and I couldn't be happier with my choice of practitioner and office. My desire to comment on Dr. Brovont and his AMAZING staff's ability to exceed my expectations outweigh my privacy--thus this public comment. Brief background: a couple years ago, I had a great experience with a series of ketamine infusions in a clinic in another state. Very long story short--I became a believer in and advocate for the treatment. Fast forward to late 2022 when I started experiencing the signs of symptoms again. This time, I wasted no time and reached out to Bloom. From the moment I walked through the door to the day of my last treatment, I received a level of care that I have never experienced. Dr. Brovont is compassionate, knowledgeable and must be some kind of administrative genius as evidenced by the staff that he has assembled! I simply don't have the words to describe how awesome they ALL are in terms of providing the greatest possible experience. And, by the way, I understand each person's physiology is different but I underwent the infusions without, then with, the available acupuncture with Stacy. I was skeptical--now I'm sold out on the results! I'd gladly name every other health care provider in the office but I won't as I know I would leave someone out; they all get my highest marks!

Having the option to take your medical care into your own hands along side a doctor who has literally seen and heard it all is priceless! My physical and mental health has changed significantly since being a patient at Bloom! They have changed my life!

Andy Kent: My experience with Bloom Health and Wellness has been the cream of the crop. I've had ketamine treatments with two other facilities and, quite frankly, there isn't a better place in KC to get a treatment. Dr. Brovont's bedside manner is second to none and his staff are attentive and actually listen to what I say. They take a few minutes (or in my case maybe a few more) after each treatment to ask me what I experienced, how I am feeling now that the treatment is complete, and they work diligently to create a plan of care that works for me. I have struggled with severe OCD and major depression for 15 years. I've seen more doctors than I care to remember and tried more medications than I want to count (to be clear, over 25 different meds). With Bloom, I feel like Dr. Brovont and his staff take into account my own expertise on my illness. What works for me, what doesn't. Before and after each treatment, Dr. Brovont meets with you to discuss other things important to mental health like diet, exercise options, gut health, etc. I truly believe he and his staff have my best interest at heart and they will do anything to help me on my mental health journey. We are working out a schedule to help me live my best life supported by their services and I encourage anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, or any other mental illness to contact them right away. I'm telling you, it will change your life. It feels more like a day at the spa than a trip to a Dr's Office. They are always on time and respond quickly to any questions I have. They have a philosophy that the only thing you need to bring is yourself, they have everything else taken care of: blankets (weighted and very soft), noise cancelling headphones with binaural beats, and reclining chairs. This is also the only ketamine clinic I've been to where you can bring your visitor with you in the treatment room. I was leery at first, having only experienced the treatment all alone, but having my significant other with me was a god send. I cannot recommend their services strongly enough.
