Kylie Hays: I could not recommend anyone more than Steve. His films always stood out to me when searching for a videographer, and even beyond his amazing films, he went above and beyond to provide us great service, both before the wedding and after. I have a hard time being impressed with exceptional service as a type A bride and super perfectionist, but from the beginning Steve was so accommodating and made sure everything fit our schedule and needs. Many vendors do a fine job, but not many go out of their way like Steve. Plus, you can watch for yourself that the films are so creative. He made sure to capture all the most important moments, but also added in details and creativity that made the films emotional and so much fun to watch. Both our parents were unsure of the need for a videographer, but in my opinion it was by far the best investment of the day. Everyone says it goes by so fast, but you don’t realize how true that is until you experience it. These films are going to be so treasured to look back on that blur of a day!

When meeting Steve, we were immediately pumped up by his excitement and obvious passion for his work. He has a way of mixing his footage in a way that flows with the music, as though the actions were made to be put to that song. When we made a suggestion for our song choice, Steve may have been more excited than we were-- immediately spit balling ideas for how to use it in the video. It definitely made us even more exciting. On the day of our wedding, he worked seemlessly with the photographer to capture amazing moments. To echo another commenter, he had a sneak peak video edited in LESS than 24 hours!! He kept us up to date on the progress of our films. When our films were complete, we were stunned by their beauty. Steve even went above and beyond with a special request AFTER our final film was complete, which he did not have to do, but showed that, while he is amazing at his craft, he recognizes the important memories and significance of the little moments of the biggest day of your life-- that is exactly who you want filming your day.

He was patient as we decided which vantage point worked best for us, and then used his skill to capture the best image possible from that view.After the event John did a spectacular job editing the video to include images, slide shows and music in such a way that people who were unable to attend the event can experience it in full. John was patient, thoughtful and easy to talk with throughout the editing process. Had we understood ahead of time both the high quality of his work and what a great job John would do of melting into the background at the event, I think we would have hired him to film the reception as well.I would encourage anyone who wants a video of a special life event whether it’s a graduation, wedding, memorial service or some other event special to you, to contact AtoZ and ask for John.
