We trust the vet and staff here. To be honest, bill is higher compared to other locations but because of the location is in midtown near by Plaza and rent must be higher compared to other locations. Besides, Max always gets the best service of care here. The vet explained things with detail and clear guidance. They do explain the cost with us before we proceed with any test or products. I like this place. Thanks for taking care of Max.

Had no problem taking over $2000 for less than 12hrs of care and a link to buy specialized food of their choice. My pet ended up in a hospital and surgery. That didn't cost as much as I paid here for a common, simple obstruction that wasn't diagnosed or discussed with us.

Dennis Howell: Several years ago Mary Mountain sold the business to a new group. Sadly they do not give the loving care that Mary did. I was a customer of Plaza Animal even before Merry mountain came to that location. The newest group seems to want to run every test to run up your bill as much as possible. I left the organization a year ago and I found new care but I was moved to make this review after reading an article on Nextdoor, there was comment after comment after comment in the article about how many unhappy clients have left Plaza Animal, I think this needs to be heard .

They helped take great care of my elderly dog's conditions with several different treatments up help make his last year or so as comfortable for him as possible. And when it was time to put him down, they were amazing at helping us through it. Now they're taking care of our new pups and continue to be great with them too. They legitimately love the animals they see. If you're in the midtown area, Union Hill is a fantastic vet option for you.

Celeste Ortiz: My first experience here with Dr. Matthew Silvius was great and he did very well with my pet and made my dog feel comfortable throughout the visit - being I had such a great experience the first time I decided to bring my pet back to Eagle, but it was an emergency situation and I didn't get to see the same Dr as before. The vet my dog was able to see this time around was clearly scared of my dog and was throwing multiple treats at him, like that was supposed to make him comfortable with her? The procedure that was being done was not explained nor was the price communicated so I was bit shocked when I went to pay for our visit. I also noticed my animal was marked as "aggressive" when he didn't show any signs of aggression to the vet or anyone else, he barked back at a dog while we were in the lobby and she said that is why aggressive was written on his paper. Very disappointed in my recent visit here.

Corrie Guthmiller: We took our puppy to Eagle for our very first visit and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and we were seen right away. Dr. Martin was very nice and took good care of our pup for his vaccines and educated us about other vacs that would protect him. She even helped us talk to our doggy day care when we had issues with a misunderstanding they had about some required vaccines. Looking forward to using Eagle for all of our pups needs. They are also conveniently located about five minutes from our home, which will work great if we have any emergencies. Thanks Dr. Martin and Eagle staff!

I had the opportunity to visit recently with bottle baby fosters who needed a health certificate and the staff was just plain great to work with! The facility is gorgeous. Darren Blosser: First, I want to say that the vets at Eagle have always been incredibly compassionate and friendly and that's why we went there for 6 or 7 years with multiple cats and dogs. I understand that veterinary care is expensive so I cannot complain about that.Today, however, the service I received was subpar at best. I did a walk-in for 2 vaccinations for Stella. There were zero people in the waiting room. And I understand that does not reflect how busy they are, but it also means there are no other walk-ins waiting. I checked in and then was not spoken to again for nearly 2 hours. I was never told sorry for the wait. Or why the wait was so long. If they cannot handle having walk-ins every day, then they should post that. Or at least acknowledge when someone has waited so long. I would normally try to get an appointment, but that's rarely doable when we've called in the past.Again, I've loved the vets at Eagle, but the front desk staff has been rude at best and with that wait time, that is unacceptable.Unfortunately, we will be changing to a new vet office and will recommend people avoid Eagle.

This establishment, which I had initially trusted with the care of my beloved mobile disabled dog, has demonstrated a shocking level of negligence, leading to repeated harm and injury to my pet.First and foremost, it is essential to note that I take the utmost care to provide a hind leg sling for my dog, explicitly instructing the staff to use it during his boarding period. This sling is crucial for his mobility, as his hind legs tend to knuckle, causing his paws to drag on the ground. Unfortunately, despite my explicit instructions, the staff consistently neglected to use the sling, leading to disastrous consequences.On three separate occasions, I have collected my dog from the boarding facility only to find him suffering from horrific road rash wounds on his hind legs. These injuries are a direct result of his legs dragging on the concrete during their walks to relieve themselves. It is absolutely unforgivable that such a simple request to use the hind leg sling was repeatedly ignored, resulting in significant pain and distress for my pet.The complete lack of attention and disregard for my dog's well-being has left me utterly appalled. As a veterinary clinic and dog boarding service, it is their fundamental responsibility to prioritize the safety and comfort of the animals under their care. Instead, they have demonstrated an alarming lack of professionalism and compassion, causing my dog unnecessary pain and putting his overall health at risk.Furthermore, the fact that this has happened on three separate occasions is absolutely inexcusable. I had hoped that after the first incident, the staff would be more vigilant and attentive. Regrettably, it seems that they have not learned from their mistakes or taken any measures to prevent further harm to my pet.I entrusted this establishment with the well-being of my beloved companion, and their negligence has left me deeply disappointed and concerned for his safety. I would strongly advise against using this veterinary clinic and dog boarding service if you care about the welfare of your pets. Their blatant disregard for the specific needs and instructions of their clients is a clear indication of their unprofessionalism and lack of empathy.I will be actively seeking alternative options for my dog's care in the future and sincerely hope that others take this review into consideration before entrusting their pets to this establishment. Rave' Cleaver: I've tried a few vets for my Leopard Gecko and this has been the best thus far. Dr. Exline is very helpful. Also Kris was excellent with helping me with special needs boarding for my Leo who has to be syringe fed for now.

Andrew Barr: The vets do seem to care about the animals, so there is that. Whoever sets prices is out of their mind though. They want $1000 just to CLEAN a cats teeth, not to pull them, just for the cleaning. That is insane.

Don't forget to bring a stool sample to make the analysis easier!

Angela Buckingham: I came home from my mother’s funeral to find her beloved cat in distress. I called this clinic where she had taken her animals for decades. TOO BAD, SO SAD, GO TO THE EMERGENCY CLINIC OF YOU REALLY THINK THAT'S A BIG ENOUGH PROBLEM was the flippant, dismissive response that I got from the girl on the phone. This was after I was put on hold for 45 minutes and told they would call me back. When I called back a second time, I had to wait for the girl to get done giggling so she could dismiss me after wasting precious hours at the end of the day. She never bothered to talk to the vet about my concerns or forward the medical records for the animal whose health I knew nothing about to the hospital. I was left spending the rest of the afternoon (after burying my mother) desperately calling random vets trying to find one who would take patients during covid because the wait at blue pearl was 12 hours. The loyal pet who comforted my mother at the end of her life died in agony from a blockage because a girl at the front desk decided our pet didn’t matter. Do yourself a favor and take your animals someplace else where employees have compassion. Having a monthly plan won’t do you any good when your pet is actually sick and needs care.

Maggie Rittermeyer: I want to say thank you to everyone here. Today I said goodbye to my little girl George. For almost 14 years they have taken care of her and such a wonderful job they did. Some of the doctors and staff came back, said goodbye, loved on her and that was so special. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this office.

Chris Carpenter: I have nothing but praise for Animal Medical Center. The two DVM's who treated our dog Carl were skilled, compassionate, and took the time at each visit to thoroughly examine him, to thoughtfully diagnose a serious issue, and (of enormous value) to explain and talk through some difficult issues with us. I also had occasion to board Carl there for a week, and that experience, too, was extraordinarily positive. As Carl's end neared, the DVM's made themselves available at all hours for advice and compassionate counsel. It meant so much, and aided us immeasurably in his fnal days.The staff, to a person, were also quite wonderful. And, their charges are more than reasonable. I give an unqualified and whole-hearted endorsement of Animal Medical Center.

Isabelle Ulloa: I’ve taken my pets to a lot of different clinics over the years but I can honestly say I’ve never trusted a clinic more than Animal Medical Center KC. Top tier care for both of my pets; they’re always on time, organized, and attentive. We’ve seen every Dr. at the clinic and each one is just as patient and knowledgable as the other. I can tell the entire staff really cares about their patients and clients too.. they always seem so excited to see & spend time with your pets. I recently moved further from the clinic but just can’t bring myself to look for a new one closer to home - they are worth the drive!

Crissy Peters: This is the best vet I have ever been to. I walked in, was greeted, and promptly sent to an exam room to wait for the vet tech and vet. Within 15 minutes the vet had tested a sample and got a diagnosis for my dogs ear infection and gave us options for treatment. We are enrolled in one of their annual plans and the price cannot be beat! I would recommend this vet 10/10!!!This vet also did my dogs dental cleaning, and the price and value of their dental annual plan is great! Scheduling is easy, staff is great!

Patrick Flaherty: Schedule a wellness check up for my pup a few days beforehand, we’re able to get us in without any issues. Exam went quick, showed compassion and concern for my dogs well bringing, and offered options for treatment.

Trin: I called just to get a price check and the guy was unbelievable. I said that I wanted to get a check up on a stray while I try to find her owner. has a tight belly and diarrhea. no other symptoms. he pretty much scoffed at me and said, "We don't have time for that." Then proceeds to say that it's probably Feline infectious peritonitis and that more than likely she will die and that I'm putting my cat at risk. And I'm saying that in a much much nicer way than he did. He was horrible and doesn't have the slightest bit of compassion.

mc fresh: Took my English Bulldog in for an ear emergency walk in. They did an examination and explained everything to me plainly. We left with a care plan and the cost was ⅐ what Wolf Creek charged for the exact same ear infection. I wanted quality care for my pet without financially crippling myself to provide it. He's doing much, much better and I'm truly grateful for the service they provided.

Leslie Kennedy: Our dog tore one of his dew claws late in the morning on a Saturday. Our vet couldn't get him in and had recommended after hours animal hospitals. I didn't want to wait 4 hours to get seen, so I googled for other places. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic and they squeezed us into their schedule. They didn't over treat the problem and all of the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend giving them a call!

Jerah White: I've found Northland in my veterinary search for titters testing and holistic medicine. They are fairly hard to beat across the board in my experience of several vets in the northland. I believe my previous vet might be cheaper but they don't offer all the services and honestly I didn't trust the knowledge base like I do with Dr Roberts. That being said, price is still very good comparatively speaking to vets in the area. I have an allergy specialist that has completely disagreed with my previous vet and totally approved of the medication this vet has given my allergy boy. The bedside manors are solid. Over all, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better vet in the area.
