Debra Raynal: We normally use the UPS in our area but since we were near The Plaza we stopped there. Big mistake! The customer service rep was extremely rude. I asked him if he could tape the bottom of a box, would take one or two pieces of tape. He says, did you not see the tape gun near the the front door. I said yes, but would you mind putting a piece on there for me. He says, normally we charge for this. They charge for two pieces of tape? I understand if they were busy but no one in there but me. He was very rude about it. Will not go back.
Patrick Rooney: I handed over a stack of items to be postmarked. And I was fobbed off that he would do it later.... Apparently not.
Troy Tils: Was just inside this store. Was in need of assistance with printing off a label from marketplace on Facebook. Asked me if I needed any help I told him yes. Proceeded to tell him of my predicament as he stood there and ignored me he then went on to help another customer and continue to ignore my situation or to give me any further assistance with my problem. Another associate then came up and asked me if he could help and I told him to my predicament also. He was a bit more attention at least but lack the training and knowledge to assist me in my situation either UPS is going to go in with Facebook to do pre-paid shipping labels well then I would think that their people would be trained to do such. Nothing like going in and and being completely overlooked and completely ignored.
Azure Guidry: I called to confirm that a notary was available and I was told yes and to come in. Once I was there the notary/owner was working with another customer. I waited about 10 minutes and then he got up and told me it was going to be another 20 minutes, told his staff to stop telling people to come in for notary services and walked out the store. He exhibited poor behavior and bad customer service.
Rae Scheufler: I drop off packages here frequently. Typically it is one individual supporting multiple customers at the same time to minimize the wait time which I appreciate. They're generally pretty friendly too.

Anna Hoang: Do not trust this place for your packages!!! I had a very expensive package that I requested to be held at this location that I thought I could trust. Even paid extra to have it held at this location, for the package to be “lost”.Whenever I went to this location to pick up my package they stated that the package wasn’t there for me and the representatives at the store wanted to gaslight me and say are you sure that you’re at the right location??When I showed him the screenshot that shows that the package was delivered and ready for pick up at the store location they stated oh sometimes it says delivered when it’s not ready. Even though it showed it was confirmed delivered yesterday. They provided me a “toll free” number that’s invalid.I even got confirmation from UPS with the tracking information and from the sender who sent the package that the package was delivered. And it was delivered the other day, I don’t understand how the package could not be there. Even customer service from UPS stated that the package was delivered YESTERDAY. Now I have to file a claim for a package that’s missing. Never trusting UPS ever again, and don’t expect the employees to be helpful either. I’ve never had problems here until now.

Chris See: Hit and miss. When the younger people are manning the counter it’s a lot of rudeness and not being helpful if you need assistance, like with packing and or taping. I went in and the people from the Waldo store were there and it was a ENTIRELY DIFFERENT experience. So I drive to the Waldo store now to drop packages off and get questions answered.

A couple of days later I went back with the label on package and the guy says you can’t ship in this package you can buy one for $ 1.99. Alex Holsman: GET A DROP OFF RECEIPT OR DON’T COME.Packages 'go missing' from this location.I dropped off a package at this store on May 17th and it was never once scanned. It never even received a preliminary drop-off scan. I handed the package directly to a clerk around 10:30am that morning and it disappeared off the face of the earth. It never received one, single tracking update.Someone at this store, presumably the manager, Chris, or the owner, his brother, Eric, are stealing packages. Either that or they know about it and would rather stonewall you instead of helping. Read the reviews - I am not the only person who has had this happen at this particular store. There is even a review from someone claiming to be a former employee saying they steal packages as well.After waiting patiently for the tracking information to update, I visited the store on May 19th to inquire. Chris told me he would call his brother, Eric, the owner, who was in the store that morning to ‘look into it.' After a few hours, I visited the store that evening and spoke with Chris again. I told him that all I needed was proof of drop off. Because he was ‘unable’ to provide a drop-off receipt, I suggested he look at the security camera footage and show me a still image of me dropping the package off. Again, I explained that all I wanted was proof of drop-off. A still image from security footage would have worked. But he was unwilling. Why would he be unwilling to provide me with an image of me dropping the package off? Unless there was something to hide?Where could my package possibly have gone? If I hand it directly to a clerk and it never once receives a scan, what could have happened to it?On the small chance packages are not being stolen here - they are most certainly negligent in their duties to properly scan and account for packages. Do not test your luck by visiting this location.Beware: Eric and Chris own at least this and the Brookside location (store 4784). Don’t visit them. Do not hand your packages to their negligent or sticky fingers.Save yourself hundreds of dollars and a headache by going elsewhere - The stores in Mission, Prairie Village, and Downtown KC all have different ownership.Written about UPS Store 4249, on the plaza.

Kirsten H: I frequent this UPS location for my business shipping/returns. The staff is always very nice and helpful. However, yesterday the gentleman who helped me was SO LOVELY. He was so patient, so helpful, and one of the most friendly people I think I have ever interacted with. I am so sorry I didn't catch his name but the Emp# on the receipt is 144505. I seriously wish I had a reason to go back to UPS today because this guy was AMAZING.
Nick Cavazos: Walked all the way there by foot and was told at 5.25 pm "we close in half an hour, don't think I can laminate that, we're too busy" I was then told laminating might have to "wait till next week". What a joke. You can do a lamination at fedex in 10 minutes

just chillin: Went to store very flustered because of wrong item sent to me and my printer failed and refused to print return label. So annoyed I could hardly use my phone to give needed information when I got to store. Staff were extraordinarily patient and kind and got return label and package sent. Thanks for making a bad morning better.

He accused me of trying to steal something awhile the other male Hispanic employee seemed a little more helpful was all while overcharging me for black and white copies at .12 a sheet for 11- 12 sheets I was charged over $4I'll update if my mail doesn't reach it's destination timely as this is outrageous behavior for our local community to lease to companies with criminal tendencies employees.i wish I read reviews prior to trusting them with my deliveries, I pray the arrive to their destination. Jewell Renai Taylor: I shipped items from this store to my day in Pennsylvania on September 19,2022. Included in the items was a 32 inch television which the store packed. I paid for insurance. When the television arrived the screen was shattered.I contacted the store immediately to open a claim. I spoke with Dwight several times at the store and he assured me the check would arrive. I kept waiting because I thought they would keep their word. In November I called and spoke with Dwight and explained my frustration at not being contacted about the status of the claim or payment for my damaged property. He claimed the insurance denied my claim because allegedly I packed the television which was a lie, he said he remembered packing it and would resubmit the claim. By November 25th I still had not received payment for my daughter’s television so I bought her a new one on Amazon.As of today I called the store and was told by Dwight my claim was denied because I didn’t elect insurance.That’s a WHOLE lie Late in the process.I’m not sure what they have going on but so far I’m out the cost of insurance, the cost of another television and time trying to give them a chance to do the right thing.Dwight has been nothing less than indifferent, rude and a liar. I requested a call from the store manager, never received one.They operate without integrity and with disregard for the customer service.If I could five them negative stars I would.Do not trust them with your shipment or your money. They changed me for insurance, poorly packed my shipment then lied about the insurance claim for MONTHS!!They are THE WORST KIND of people to do business with.Two thumbs down.
Lorita Brown: I was returning two Amazon items. I chose this location since I had use them to return items before. The customer service was terrible. The first time I use them the female employee was very nice and helpful but on this visit there were two male employees. Let's just say they weren't very helpful. On top of that I don't think they scanned both of my items. My Amazon account showed one as being accepted but not the other. I went back and tried to take care of the manner but they hardly helped. I will not go back to this location ever again. I've received way better service from other locations.

Mahmoudreza Norouzi: Lazy people. Walked in for a notary service, there are no customers in the store, both staff members are free on their cellphone but they say they can’t do it because I need to schedule an appointment online. BSSay I don’t feel like doing it on.

Anna Garrison: Poor service. I dropped a package off this morning and had the shipping paid for by Amazon and was told I owed them an additional 1.65 since they printed the label. I have used this store in the past and have never had to pay an additional amount. I asked for clarification and was basically told I had to pay for the paper and ink on top of the money I was already paying to ship through amazon. I was told all the stores do this which is also not true. If this is the policy for this store it would be nice if this was stated before they printed it off instead of telling me after the fact that I owed more money.

Or should I say the lack of deliveries by USPS. The employees have always been friendly, personable and very helpful. The current management is amazing. I just met Stamps. It can be busy at 5 pm on weekdays.

Ronald Jaegers: This store is ripping people off when returning something to the shipper. You can go to fedex and have something returned for nothing .if you say its a return to sender . Kala C: I've been to UPS twice. Once to return equipment to AT&T. The printer or some sort of equipment wasn't working and they said they couldn't do it that day. Just matter-of-fact with no other guidance.The second time was today at this location. I had a package set to be picked up and it hadn't been by 3pm. It was time sensitive so I took it to the store.I asked the lady if she could cancel the pickup. She looked annoyed she had to get up in the first place to help customers. Then to answer my question, it was "I don't know, we just have packages for the truck to pickup." Didn't ask other staff or offer to find out. Handed over my receipt and said, "here's your receipt." It's like customer service is out the window especially with companies who have or almost have monopolies.Side note, I caught the UPS truck in my neighborhood and asked if I was on his list for pickup. I was. I told him he could cancel my pickup and he was great! Friendly, helpful and wished me a great day. Wish I got his name. Employ more like him!Friendliness and a "thank you" goes really far.

melinda smith: Let me start by saying we have utilized UPS for many years but recently we have encountered such a huge disregard in basic customer service that we no longer will be calling ourselves a customer. UPS recently had lost a package we had shipped and instead of providing us a full reimbursement of the package while we provided them proof of the cost they decided to offer us a partial reimbursement with an advisement to purchase shipping insurance. As a consumer purchasing the services of this carrier service it should not be the expectation of us to have to pay more in case the company screws up .For a company who has seen record growth in the past 2 years with soaring stock prices due to the huge e -commerce demand and an incredible 2023 revenue forecast the hope would be that the end customer would be seeing some of that benefit but unfortunately that was not our experience. And not to mention the increased rates across the board .We pay for UPS to protect and ship our packages safely and when that doesn’t happen as a customer we should get a 100% reimbursement PERIOD. This appears to be the workings of an organization that puts shareholders in front of there customers needs . Moving forward we will be going out of our way to not have to utilize UPS Shipping services .

And the prices are insanely high. When it cost me more to ship then the item in the packaging itself there's a problem I'm sure there's a place of better prices. If I'm going to pay prices like that I would at least like to have some decent customer service.
Nathan Bowman: I find it ridiculous that you do not carry the supplies for the services you offer. The package I want to ship requires an express box which is not available at your location but you are more than will to sell me a standard box out of your inventory. I understand you’re a franchise but it would be like going to McDonalds and trying to get a Big Mac and being told they don’t Cary that product.

I'm usually having to ship my work equipment back and forth from Kansas City, which is bulky and provides challenges for packaging. Those manning the counter have always been incredibly helpful with my awkward requests, and they provide straightforward insight into my inquiries.Prior to my shipping shenanigans, my family also used this store to receive our mail, and they were always friendly and helpful. Even when things were accidentally shipped to the store after we were no longer using their PMB services, we just had to reach out via email or phone and they were willing to hold an item for our pick up.These people work hard, and they have made this aspect of my job a lot easier than they will ever realize! The store itself is also clean and well-stocked with supplies, making the shipping experience as a whole less stressful.

Wes Hercules: We had some documents copied the charge was 15 cents per page then we had them 3 hole punched they charged 50 cents per page so it cost $53 to have 106 pages punched with three holes. We are going back tomorrow when the manager is there. We checked two other stores and on charged nothing to punch and the other charged a penny. There were two kids working and they said we have to collect for the ticket. We plan to see the manager tomorrow as she is only there 9 to 4.

Joseph: Don't waste your time trying to send something fragile. I had to reinstall my graphics card on my PC I'm surprised it still turns on. The lights inside the PC are broken and there are dents along the top. Stay away from these clowns.

Now, according to them , even though I don’t use their computer they charge you an extra dollar because -according to them-no matter what, they have to use the computer for work. Suddenly they are ripping people off by charging extra fees at the Parkville, MO location. If you want to print something that normally costs $0.10, now they will charge you $1.10 for a single copy. They said that their manager gave them that order; receipt is not offered. I requested a receipt because it looked fishy to me that not even a receipt was being provided. I’m now printing at Staples. No hidden fees👌

Michelle Williams: I shipped a package back in December. The vendor never received My package. It was lost by Ups . i enter the store, they told me with my insurance that i would be reimbursed for my package within 10 days. It now march, i have no package nor a reimbursement. The manager Brandy has lied about my claim and is very nasty an incompetent . i have asked serval times to talk to the owner , Brandy assure me he would reach out he has not. And as a small business owner who has frequently supported this Ups i find this terrible. I will be reporting this Ups store to the BBB

Alijo: Don't count on a notary to be here when they say she will. Took off work early because I called and they said she'd be there until 6. Showed up at 4, waited in a line out the door, only to be told the notary is the manager and she was gone.
Colleen: The UPS store that I always go to on Barry Rd & Waukomis is always fast and efficient. They are also always friendly. The line was to the door when I arrived, but I was out in less than 5 min. Can't ask for better than that!

Marcia Rhodes: Do not take your Amazon returns to this store. They disregard Amazon labels that clearly state no box and force you to buy a box to complete the return. Amazon suggested to find another store since matted couldn’t be resolved.
