Daphne Lin: Efficient, incredibly kind staff and very thorough care. I have visited them twice now. The second time, they gave me a courtesy call 7 days later to discuss my results, made sure my symptoms had gone away and that I was okay. The online health system is also very easy to use once you create it — I was able to view all my test results very quickly (I would get notified when one was ready to view), so really this entire experience was super easy and efficient.Just to give a heads up — There is no parking lot but there’s a parking garage right across the street from the T-Mobile Center and the clinic will validate your parking ticket. (I think I parked at the Park St. one or whatever it’s called?) You will also have to go through a brief security check when you enter the T-Mobile Center, so make sure you leave anything that might be confiscated (i.e. my pepper spray attached to my keys) in your car before coming in!

Madi Miller: Quickest urgent care visit I’ve ever had! Also I would like Stacy, the manager, to know about her amazing front desk lady who helped check me in today. I was confused on the entrance of this urgent care and she ran outside to find me - she was on it! Friendly faces all around. I’ll be establishing my PCP due to my experience!

Tasha Hall: I was in Kanas city from out of town and wasn’t feeling well. I had a hard time finding the building and the Receptionist was so patient with me as I had to call a few times in order to find out where to go. I got checked in by the nice receptionist, the nurse was prompt. Dr.Lyes was so nice and helpful. I even had issues at the pharmacy because of living out of town/ insurance issues; she was quick to call me back to try and help! All around I was just impressed and thankful for all the staff!

Alexis St. Clair: It's a nice facility and the people I spoke to were kind, but they didn't listen to me and I ended up in the hospital because of it.I went in and explained that I had symptoms of a kidney infection, but was sent away with only a round of antibiotics for a UTI and told to follow up in 2 weeks if I didn't feel better. Two days later I was in the ER with a 104 degree fever and a kidney infection that had turned into sepsis.I still haven't been able to get ahold of anyone about this, but maybe they read their Google reviews?

Papa Mark's Honey Farm: Wonderful caring staff! A great facility and well equipped. Didnt have to wait long either.I would gladdly give it a 5 if they could post on the website how to find the front door!! All the doors on the website pictures are locked. But, off to TO THE LEFT OF THE DOORS on the picture, there is a side door that takes you to the clinic.BUT! That is my one and only complaint.I would also make a note that I am from out of town and never been here before. Maybe that accounts some for my difficulty in finding out how to get in.

Celeste Merryman: From previous, recent experience (this past year), I've had my reservations about seeking care because of how I've been treated at other places. After meeting with Allison Lyles, APRN, the first visit, I decided to establish care when I needed to be seen again. After today's visit I know I made the right choice in care providers. I've found a lot of providers don't listen - and then it took half a year to be diagnosed while I sat in pain being referred to others month after month. All of the staff here that I've interacted with thus far has shown they care about my healthcare needs. I don't feel like you see a lot of that anymore. For some it's what pays the bills, but this staff seems like they are passionate about their careers in helping others.

Kaya Artrese: Currently here...I decided to give this place a try because of the reviews about how fast and courteous they were. I came as soon as they opened around 8 am. There was only one other person that arrived at the same time as I did. I completed the paper work and waited. In the time I was in the waiting room, I saw about 4 medical staff members in the back (not sure of what their position was). I waited for about 45 minutes then my name was called to go to the back. The nurse took my vitals and let me know that the doctor would be in as soon as he could. I am currently at 30 minutes and the dr still hasn’t come in. (Time: 9:15) The automatic lights have went out on me and I feel like they forgot about me. The staff are definitely nice and courteous but I would expect the same wait time as other urgent clinics.Update: I left at 9:45am

Paula Munro: I'm a volunteer interpreter for this free clinic open three evening a week beginning at around 4:30. Monday and Wednesday are open clinic. Each patient is triaged and treated or referred depending on the capacity of the clinic. Tuesdays are alternating specialty nights for diabetes maintenance and women's health. The clinic shares space with Southwest Family Care. A safety net clinic serving the community for decades. Jay doc is a lifesaver for the medically underserved.

Steven Finell: My wife just completed a 30-day "stay" at KU's Strawberry Hill mental "health" facility. Last night, with freezing rain, they gave her a taxi voucher and discharged her, without a "safe" place to go. Despite the fact her trauma stems from childhood trauma resulting from growing up with an angry and abusive drunk father, that's where they pushed her to go, without any pre-arrangement. She ended her cab ride at his house. He wasn't home or he chose to not answer the door.Despite an Order of Protection keeping her away from our house and family, she believed she had no place else to go.With no money and no working phone, she walked 11.5 miles from Merriam to Western Shawnee, in the freezing rain.She walked in the door hypothermic and with bleeding blisters on her feet. Coming home was not an option and her "case manager" at KU Strawberry Hill was well-aware.I patched her up, let her sleep on the couch and took her to the ER of a real hospital.KU Strawberry Hill kicked my wife, the mother of our children, to the curb - without any regard for her safety.My children are traumatized, to say the least. Any progress achieved over the last 30 days of her hospitalization has been entirely eviscerated. She's actually more suicidal since she was kicked out yesterday. She just uses different words to express that.Her "case manager" at Strawberry Hill, Stephanie Mayberry, said she tried placing her in a long-term mental health nursing facility however, was unsuccessful as she doesn't seem to be familiar with the necessary steps to qualify such an inpatient arrangement and get it done. She told my wife she had a place lined up only to explain there was a "miscommunication."KU Strawberry Hill and her treatment team is incompetent and seemingly incapable of addressing serious mental health concerns such as my wife experiences. This was her third "stay" there.Despite having a DPOA for my wife, I was left almost entirely out of her discharge planning (no meeting, just a phone call threatening to discharge my wife "to the street" if I didn't pick her up). They were acutely aware of the Order of Protection, as her "case manager" was present on the video call court appearance. The "case manager" told the judge she had a transfer working and anticipated it would take a week for the transfer.KU Strawberry Hill's, and their staff's, willful negligence has traumatized my entire family and left my wife more unstable than she was when she was admitted.Their actions are unconscionable and reprehensible.

40 Hwy Auto Plaza: I had to visit this 1 time and I got some things out of it I just think they rush you to get out of there to fast if you can change mental health in 5 to 14 days then everyone should be fix it's impossible to fix anyone that quickly it takes 21 days to break a habit.and that's a none fact.

Rainor Shine: Unfortunately I CHOSE to go to Strawberry Hill over returning to another facility. This was one of the worst decisions I’ve made. The staff always seem annoyed , they talk badly about the patients, they’re lazy and they mix dangerous people with those who aren’t. And it’s dirty!! How can your mental health get better when you’re feeling afraid, intimidated and threatened by violent people?

The check in process and appointment waiting time was shockingly short and sweet with these days is unfortunately no longer the norm.From there it nosedived quickly. The X-Tay tech was bossy, rude and 100% uncaring rolled into one awkward 10 minute visit. Not sure why some people choose these types of jobs when they clearly don’t enjoy what they are doing. Her condescending manner throughout the X ray should showed a border line most unfriendly person I had seen in awhile-until Dr. Halloran came in! The doc literally looked at my feet and said to me “I’ve seen worse”. I was stunned. My jaw hit the floor. I was unaware it was a contest and have zero interest in what he’s seen before I walked into his office. I was there for MY issues to be addressed and not anyone else’s issue he had has dealt with. I should have replied { YES, And Ive seen a lot better of sir. I wonder how much more of my quality of life should crumble away before I would be considered for a reevaluation? I won’t be returning so I guess I’ll never know. I cannot speak for many other doctors in this practice, but I suggest avoiding this guy unless you enjoy being ridiculed and made to feel completely defeated before you’ve even been given a chance to speak.

Dennis Shrewsbury: My visit with Dr Halloran was first rate. However, the part of the visit excluding him was not good.We agreed that I needed to get an MRI on my ankle. Took 2 weeks to get an appointment. After the MRI I heard nothing for 8 days. I left 2 messages with his nurse before she called only to say he would like to see me in yet another week. The 2 stars have nothing to do with Dr. Halloran, but no big deal attitude I experienced.
