The Running Well Store - Barry Road: what do users think?
Zach Graves: Let me the first to say, THANK YOUUUU!!! to the awesome team over at the The Running Well Store for being the nicest most trustworthy team i have ever met!! I had lost my wallet when going through training over in Missouri and hadnt found it since i had come back to Texas. After about 2 months i received a package from TRWS and wouldnt you guess it was my wallet, with the $40 i had left in it as well, the package also came with a note from the team hoping i received my wallet and if i had any questions to speak with Tara, Tara is the sweetest person ive had the pleasure of talking to over the phone and i want to apologize on the late thank you review that has been a little overdue. To anyone going through Kansas City Missouri please stop by The Running Well Store for all your snacks, drinks and gas needs, there team will surely set you right!!

Getting ready to run my first marathon, I wanted to take some time to get this right, and I wasn't rushed at all. They encouraged me to jump on the treadmill to test them out and try on as many pairs as I needed. It was a great experience and I'll be returning for all of my future running shoe/gear/accessory purchases.

Swope Park Mountain Bike Trail: what do users think?
Yvon Hi: Nice steep and narrow trails
Jeromey Bell: It's a good workout, but (and maybe this is just me), it's easy to get lost, so more trail markers would be helpful.Recommended activities Walking, Hiking, Running, Biking …More
Terry Windholz: Great place to ride and relax..
Valerie Smith: Beautiful even in winter, the trails were a bit muddy and very rocky, wear good shoes for hiking and watch your step. Will definitely be going back when it gets warmer.
J Barce: Nice little outdoorsy spot close to home. Our dogs like going here for a quick splash.
Andrew Wong: Quiet, peaceful and close-to-home trails. Some good spots to relax and listen to the sounds of nature despite being in the middle of the suburbs. Mostly shorter, narrow but well-kept trails. Don’t expect to spend more than 20-30 minutes in these but would definitely walk through again.
Efren Gonzalez: Nice trail to bring your dog
Megan McBride: Great trails, beautiful scenery in the forest.
Josh Anderson: My car didn't get broken into!
Sherie Grafton: Really cool trails, great rock formations. Trails aren't marked well, but they are all loops. Hidden gems in Camp of the Woods in Swope Park near the Zoo...
Grant Woodward: Amazing trails in the heart of KC. Great mix of tech and flow. I believe there are 20+ miles of trail now. Check Urban Trail Co website for trail status before riding/hiking and please do not use when trails are closed.
Logan Honors: Very good for hiking and mountain biking. Not too difficult of a hike while still having decent change in elevation. Lots of good bouldering spots.
Marvin Glaze: Nice park
Thewoodsmanphotographer (The Woodsman Photographer): It's a nice place for a walk.
Walter G: Some of the facilities look old and unkept.
Emanuel Blando: A wild ride! Fun jumps!
Melissa Ball: Pretty much similar to other reviews...multi faceted trails..different abilities.. good training ground. I about ate it a few times but it was a blast! I would suggest decent suspension or plan on sticking to the roads and side trails. Some deep jumps and razorbacks. It's a good family or vacay spot on your travels. Trails all over. Guys (and girls I'm sure) with "one wheels" were riding all over the place.. serious sport. 🔥
Jagarlamudi pavan kumar: Good place for hiking around 5miles. Moderate. Slippery during wet conditions.
Javier Cruz: Cool
Zach Thropp: Can't wait for some warm weather. These trails look sweet.
Eric Glock: So majik to get out deep in the woods and nature. Be sure to bring a fully charged iphone or android with google maps and s compass! It's very easy to get lost.

Garry Gribble's Running Sports - Kansas City: what do users think?
Eric Geis: Outstanding service, recommendations, and technology for running!
Rebekka Swan: Garret was helpful! Really took the time to go above and beyond giving me information. Amazing!
Anthony Cifuentes: Caden was a big help for picking out a pair of running shoes
W Brown: I normally shop here for my running shoes but not too long ago took up biking & been meaning purchase some shoes that grip the pedals more & just overall stability. Instead going to a cycling store I decided to go to Fleet Feet because it was familiar & I needed something fast. Although they don’t sell biking shoes,Cason helped me narrow down shoes options that I describe what I was looking for. I got some tips on jogging Kansas City’s hills because I told him that I’m originally from a flatter land Midwest city. Great customer service.
Robin Runnels: Fleet feet is an amazing place to get proper shoes for your feet!
Stacy Higgins: Well informed employees that can genuinely help you find a shoe to fit your needs.
Amanda McGannon: I’ve been buying the same model shoe for over 10 years and am still glad I came in the shop for the technical knowledge and support from Cason. Now I understand why the shoe works for me. What a great guy! Have fun at Grandma’s in Duluth!
Mark Mauer: Great folks who know feet and your unique walking style work here. They make great recommendations. I travel 30 minutes to come to this store.
Kenzie Wilcoxson: Great customer service and friendly, professional interaction. We visited the Ward Parkway store on State Line Road. We were greeted by Jamie, who took great care of us. She sized our feet and made sure we tried on shoes appropriate for our needs. After trying on several Hokas, New Balance, Brooks and ASICS, she encouraged us to walk the track to make sure we were comfortable in our final selection. I absolutely love the Nimbus pair I chose because they are like walking on a cloud! Cason made the exchange quickly and easily.
Kathryn Brockenberry: Oh the guy that helped us they didn't have anxiety shoes that we were looking for but I surely would return
Eric: I've gone in the ward parkway location 3 times now. I've stood there for a while and was never ask if I wanted to see a shoe or needed help until walking out. I lve seem two other people of color not being helped and exiting the store as well!!
Joel Snyder: I was in the Fleet Feet with a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago and the staff members were helpful. Two of them were navigating the store. If/when you visit the Ward Parkway Shopping Mall east of State-Line Road in Missouri.
Jake Gillette: I'm out of town won a gift certificate for $50 at a marathon race had to drive 9 hours to get home. Called store seeing if they could work with me. Nope. Worst fleet feet store...my local fleet feet store in Indiana way better.
Matt Stromer: They take the time and effort to make sure you have a quality running shoe that fits your needs and budget
Al Risden: My visit was to register for the Patriot Run but while there, I noticed a wide selection on display so I intend to return when buying my next pair of Hoka shoes.
Alexis Smith: If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had a terrible experience with returning shoes here. I was not informed of their policy of “not being allowed to wear the shoes outside” and I was denied the return. Apparently they changed the policy AFTER I bought the shoes, but since I was returning them after the policy changed they would not respect the old policy and refused my return. No idea how I am supposed to see if shoes work for me by wearing them inside my carpeted apartment for a couple hours, versus real life walking on concrete floors of a hospital all day. I spent almost $200 on shoes that I can’t wear due to a foot condition, and now I am tasked with trying to sell them online and not getting the amount I paid for them. Never going back here.
Molly Dillon: Good service, they have a good system for fitting that is fast and customized, and the salesperson gave me good insight on how to narrow my selection down. It felt like they wanted me to have a shoe I liked / made sense vs having the most expensive running shoe.
Eric Journagan: Staff is very knowledgeable and dedicated to finding your best fit.
Brent Berkley: Love this store. Received amazing service and was surprised at how reasonable their prices were.Update: I still absolutely love this store. Happy to support my local running store!
Carol Raymond: We went to this store for help for my husband. He needed a pair of shoes to work with his brace he wears for balance issues. Wow I had no idea of the technology that goes into making tennis shoes. Brett was outstanding in helping us. He went above and beyond to help us find the perfect fit and perfect shoes to meet my husband’s needs. What an exceptional associate and great attitude. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for your help Brett.
Mark Huffhines: Lots of athletic shoes with knowledgeable and friendly employees.

Keith Jones: Went the Mission location and got a Bondi well recently and the people there are great. Thank you 👍🏽☺️
Adam: Ordered a pair of Janji pants on clearance - great price and fast shipping. Will shop with RWS again.
Steve Franklin: My feet are alive again
W Gregor: First time visiting this store based on Google reviews and it didn't disappoint. I desperately needed new shoes for walking/working out. The young salesman greeted me right after I walked in. He recommended a solid pair of On Running shoes based on the support I need when I'm exercising etc. There is a 30 day return policy if I end up not liking the shoes. You can get store credit or a different pair of shoes. You also get a $10 reward in your birthday month. 10/10 recommend this store if you want high quality shoes.
G Money: If you need any shoes...talk to Scott. From the second I walked into the door I was treated like family. He went above and beyond to make sure I walked out of there taken care of. I will definitely be back when I need my next pair of shoes.
Timothy McKay: Helpful staff, knowledgeable, and quality merchandise.
juanita fuentes: I found some shoes that I really love.......thank you so much!
Boynhood: Very nice people that work here
Kristian Wood: Great experience finding new shoes!
Mindy Haas: I love shopping local even if the price is a little higher. The customer service was great. They took the time to go over features & listened to my needs. Plus they have a treadmill to try before you buy. These shoes are only 2 weeks old & have obviously had plenty of use! Glad I found them. Customer for life.
Pat Guest: My most recent trip to The Running Well Store was on a day they were having a Sidewalk Sale. They were very busy, but I was quickly served by an associate who listened to my needs, measured my feet and came up with several options. The first pair was exactly what I needed! They will continue to be my Go-To store for athletic footwear.
Bracken Rourke: Great service. Needed new insoles for hiking.
Katie Callis: Just moved to the area and needed new running shoes. Scott helped me and was very patient and knowledgeable. The store was clean. Good selection to choose from. Will return and hope to join some of the runs. Thanks Scott!
Jaree Basgall: Great experience shopping for running shoes! The customer service was phenomenal. The 2 individuals who were working were incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend this store if you are looking for some new exercise shoes.
Jeni Schooley: We were referred here by my son’s high school for shoes for cross country and they were so awesome! I ended going back and getting me a pair as well. Different employees helped each time and they were both equally great. Hard to find this kind of service!!
Ahmed Fouad: First I wanna to thank Ken for all the hard work with me to find the right 👟 thank you for your patience he stayed with me almost 45 min tell i found the the comfy shoes and he gave me a lot of advices👌🏽👌🏽 I really appreciate ur healp Ken!The place very recommended!!Very professional!!They have very good deals 👌🏽🔥
Sonya Ulrich: I always support local but won’t be back to TRW Mission location. I spent 150.00 on a pair of HOKA’S and they looked worn to which the salesman replied no. Had to get back to work and after closer inspection were dirty with sand and rocks stuck to the bottom.I returned later that evening and asked for another pair which of course looked completely different… Just saying careful with their exchange only policy!
Amy Beazley: very helpful and attentive! prices were higher than buying online, but still ended up purchasing a great pair of shoes from here because the service was fantastic!
Ginny Morgan: My first experience shopping at the Running Well Store was great. I have foot issues and Cole was patient and listened and fit me with a very comfortable shoe. He even called the other store location and had the color I wanted delivered to the Mission store. Great experience and I like to shop local. —GM
David Conner: Could not of had a better experience, they have become my go to shoe store…
Nikolas Stoebick: My favorite running store I've been to. A lot of running stores /groups have an elitist attitude that's very unpleasant, but that's not the case here. I'll support them as long as they are around!

Michael Squires: Went driving around swope park seeing the natural beauty of the park.
Peter Catalano: Trails are excellent. Trail signs and markers are almost non-existent. Need to work on that.
Raymar Yapmoreno: I enjoyed hiking the trails with friends.Recommended activities Hiking …More
riley hitz: Recommended activities Walking, Hiking, Running, Biking Parking space Plenty of parkingMore
Goldensunset: Nice
Kelly: Make sure you plan enough time to get out before dark. Do not go when it's just rained. Great workout!
James Circle (Acorn): I hiked the whole 7 mile trail. It was pretty nice, some of the autumn colors were showing which was amazing. There's not that many views really, so I suggest not doing the full route if you're sightseeing.Dog-friendliness: Must be on a leash apparently
Veronica Bobadilla: Very hard but a good workout. Rocky and a little muddy. Slipped a few times. Highly recommend trail shoes.
Chris Jensen: A challenging trail with easy access.
MrSoup6029: Great MTB and hiking trails!!
Sherie Grafton: Challenging hike in a beautiful area.
Billye Hipsher: Path was great. Our dog loved it, but with bikers coming thru, little room to get off path.
Trent Ness: This trail is very pleasant. Perfect for a nice moderate hike of about three hours. Some reviews mention traffic noise but most of the trail is quiet. Even on a Sunday morning in spring there was little foot or bike traffic
Laura Beach: Beautiful 😍
Elias Henderson: Very pretty and great light hiking trails
Lindsey Jackson: If you're walking know your limit. Very beautiful no matter the time of year.
Cindy Simms: Love it
John Groner: Very scenic especially since a lot of leaves had fallen so we could see all around us. It was perfect weather causing it to be a pretty busy trail but never bothers me to see people in nature rather than in front of their electronics. I'm sure I'll be back multiple times.
Brian Lewis: The Light show in Swope Park is amazing Check it out before the Season is over
Mary M: The trails were fun. Diverse terrain and we were able to get a good distance in (9 miles). The fall is great because the foliage is sparse so no worry about ticks. But we did get our catalytic converter stolen while on the hike. Unfortunate for the area that this is a common occurrence here.
R Lowe: Nice trails and setting

The Running Well Store - Lee's Summit: what do users think?
Kenzie Comer: Went in wanting a new pair of shoes to help with my new job where I stand a lot on concrete. I explained that to Robert the salesman and he recommended a few pairs and helped explain how things work to know more what I’ll need more. I got a Hoka pair and feel very good about my purchase. I highly recommend this store for the wealth of knowledge the employees have. Will be going back whenever I need another pair!
Stephen Losey: This is THE running store for Eastern Jackson County. Don't waste your time on big box stores. If you are serious about running shoes or wanting to learn about running or walking shoes this is the place.
Todd Welsh: The best shoes, customer service is great!
Jody Acord: The best place to get shoes in the area! The staff is always very friendly and patient. After having plantar faciitis and a shot in my foot, I have to be very careful of the shoes I wear for those long 12 - 13 hour shifts.
Gregg Wolf: Always friendly and helpful
Kayla Brown: Love this place. Awesome customer service! The goto place to get my Oofos slippers! A must have for the summer. They also have some cute workout clothes for women. Not a huge variety but what they have is great.
Kevin & Konner Hall: They always provide great customer service and are very friendly.
Kristi Rasnic: An amazing experience! They know how shoes SHOULD fit your feet! Very knowledgeable about how the different shoes will help for different reasons. I am glad my work sent me to them!
Phyllis Watt: Service was excellent. The staff knows how to find the right shoe for you. Friendly. Great selection of shoes. Jimmy was so friendly and helpful-he was awesome!
Holly Scarborough: The young man who helped us was very knowledgeable. He took the time to check my fiancés stride, and get the proper fit and style of shoe so he won't get injured because of the wrong shoe.
Dylan White: Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had a blast and had a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend over and over again.
Flower Girl: Very knowledgeable and friendly! A great pair of shoes is worth the money. Your feet will thank you. I tell everyone about this store.
karen hill: Our daughter is a paramedic and these are the only shoes she wears Thank you for getting them so fast
Stephanie Hutson: The worst shoe store I have ever been to. The guy that helped me said they only had mens that would be best. I'm sorry but I have never bought a mens shoes and will not start now. Also would not let me try any brand on but brooks, when I asked to try Hoka he said none of them would work for me. So I will never be back to this store and will tell my doctors office to stop referring them also.
Julie Jimerson: Amazing example of how to turn around a negative experience, offer a kind listening ear, and resolve the situation. Not about being right or wrong- about getting it right. Had a terrible experience with employee on Sunday who said the stride analysis was a ‘dog and pony show’ but could do it if we wanted. But since not a runner, didn’t need it. I complained on the Facebook page and was contacted early the very next day. Explained to me that this store is for all, not just runners, that experience wasn’t representative of their why, and asked for opportunity to make it right. Went in this evening and had a phenomenal experience- in line with what we had always enjoyed and saw that superior customer service we came to expect. Only reason keeping from 5 stars is the unfortunate disrespect on Sunday. But, we are human, aren’t always at our best, and when given space to be heard, are open to talking and second chances. Thanks for all you do.
Nathan Kubicek: Awesome service! friendly experts
Les Mengel: Angela is the best! She has helped me find the favorite shoesthat are so comfortable (Asics Gel Nimbus 24) that I bought twopair for myself and two pair for my brother. He only had to wear them for 10 seconds to say he wanted them! (same as me)I'm about to buy another pair. I'm not into shopping so Angela, has taken care of me over the phone every time! She's a delight and is knowledgebleLes MengelPS I'm sure I'm not alone in saying climbing concrete stairs for exercise is boring. But once a week all summer, I climbed 250 flights of stairs. (one and a half hours) which is equivalent to starting at the trailhead of Mt. Bierstadt and climbing up the Colorado fourteener - without the altitude sickness. I'm a Missourian, who trains for Colorado climbing. This could not not have been possible in any other shoes! I have not taken them on the trail yet but, it would have to be easier on the joints than on concrete steps.
Ann O: Excellent knowledgable staff who provided great service. They will be my go to store!!
Sara K. Johns: Great store! They helped me find two pairs of running shoes and the right socks! Highly recommend.
John Crumley: Excellent selection. If they don't have my size they will get it within hours or a day. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Jennifer Krause: After trying on several shoes with the assistance of staff. I purchased a very expensive pair of shoes from this store. They did not have the shoe in stock and had to have it brought over from another store. I went ahead and paid for them and when they arrived I picked them up. When I got them home and tried them on, they did not fit. So I took them back to return them, only to learn this store does not accept returns. So the conversation went pretty much like this: No problem, can we just order this shoe in the right size.Nope! You have to pick another shoe.I tried all the shoes on before and didn’t like the fit.Too bad! That is your only choice.Extremely frustrating! I will not shop this store again and will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

Hidden Valley Park: what do users think?
kelly lange: Love this park. The trail makes you feel like your not even in the city. Takes about a 1.5 hrs to walk at a slow to moderate pace and about 30-45 min to mountain bike it depending on your comfort level.
Darryl Coker: Not a place to play any kind of sports like football or soccer
Zachary Wagner: Nice trail area with small lake
Haley Edgerton: Large accessible park with nice paved walking paths on one half and a great nature trail system on the other half. Had one port-a-potty which I didn't inspect, swings (both traditional and accessible) and other playground equipment, and a large shelter house available to reserve - I think through KC Parks website. Left off a star because while it's a great place for dog-walking, there are no dog waste bins available on even the paved paths (wouldn't expect it on the trails but it would be nice), and I wish they'd put a crosswalk with lights at the street crossing to get to the trail from the parking lot since it's between two hills.
The Boss Babe: This is a beautiful park with many options. Near the parking, you will find an open field with paved walking trail and frisbee golf. Picnic area, porta-potty, and play area. This large field is great for flying kites or enjoying the fresh air. Wintertime, this is a go to sledding area.On the south side, you will find three dirt hiking trails. The main trail is about 3.5 miles round trip. There are two smaller paths off the primary trail. This is an easy to medium trail with a few steep hills, but it is not strenuous. On a busy day, you may find mountain bikes, possibly a horse rider or two, forager’s, and dog lovers on the trail. It is easy to follow. Shaded. And takes about an hour at a steady pace.Dog-friendliness: There is a lot of open air space for the four legged friends to run.
Matthew Sebel: Really neat hiking trail loop at just about 3 miles. Beautiful oak, hickory, and sycamore trees and a lot of it is not overgrown with honeysuckle which is a rare treat these days. Want to try it on a mountain bike as well. Definitely planning to return.
Emily Curry: Park pleasant enough, if basic (no actual restrooms, only ever a porta-potty and that only sometimes), but always unsavory lurkers hanging about. Keep aware of your surroundings - the trail is worth the hiking - but for the park experience itself, you might want to go somewhere else. 😕
Felicia Mclean: Very nice clean park. It is very peaceful and beautiful. Great place to bring your family and animals.Restrooms: During the winter months they don't have a bathroom but during the summer they do.
Sarah Hemme: Hidden Valley Park is home to one of our favorite Kansas City trail systems! The terrain is smooth, but undulating with lots of elevation change. It’s a great spot for mountain biking, hiking, trail running, foraging for edibles and finding peace in the company of some really big, really old trees.A forest of red and white oak, sugar maple, basswood and shagbark hickory gives way to a steep, rugged valley in the middle. The slopes are home to native ferns, delicate spring wildflowers, paw paw and persimmon trees. Thanks to KCMO Parks, Bridging the Gap, Missouri Sierra Club and MO Dept of Conservation for protecting this remnant forest for all to enjoy.
Andrew Hill: Amazing fun mtb trails
Sondra Evanoff: So private, enjoy the deer, and the peacefulness of area & knowing no one will bother you.Playground: Newer equipment, nice entertaining, even the teens seem to enjoy this parkRestrooms: Port A Potty, no real physical restroom.
Vanessa Christopher: Fantastic and fun 3 mile trail. My dog and I LOVED it!Dog-friendliness: I have an Italian Greyhound who is my adventure buddy for everything we try! She really enjoys this trail because she can be off leash safely most days while we are on the trail. It has so many enriching smells and gives her a great, longer, varied terrain, non-concrete walk in an enticing environment. She becomes visibly excited when we pull up to the trail head now. She is observably happy during the hikes, and she seems to get very satisfying restorative sleep afterward. If she's happy, then I'm happy!
Ryan Wheale: Beautiful wide open park, dog friendly, disc golf, paved (accessible) pathway, playground, and a covered picnic area. We stopped here on a road trip to let our dog out and we spent an hour hanging out. There are no bathrooms though!
Crystal Lewis: Very nice hike! The biggest loop is around 3.5 miles!Dog-friendliness: On-leash dogs are welcome!
Camille Thompson (Cammie): There were all adults there when I was there and a couple with there dog and a few walkers on the trail
Transport King: It's a nice clean Park with a beautiful walking trail, however the thugs that come to this park don't abide by the leash laws and pitbulls roam free to attack other dogs and people, the police never patrols this park like most parks, due to vicious dogs everywhere I now open carry, if a pit bull attacks me or my dogs it will be its last time.
Justice Bernal: Amazing trails you can actually experience the "hidden valley" along the way. Praise Jesus
walfrido pratts: Everything good
Mohammad Albahr: Stick to the trail map
Vlad: Great bike trail
Daniel Clayton: Park was dirty for real and the parking lot had a couple used syringes that were obviously just thrown out . Not a safe environment for kids .

Rozarks Nature Trail: what do users think?
Danielle Wong: This was a really nice natural trail. It is not super maintained, but in most places the path is clear. It is shaded and the terrain is varied. There were a few spots where the trails ended abruptly or we ended up on trails that weren’t on the map, which led to a longer hike than expected, but overall it was very nice.
Matthew Vanberg: Pretty good trail for downtown KC
Jamie: Trail isn’t well marked. The official trail map shows a break in between these trails and the ones closer to Fisher Park but there’s not a clear distinction on the trails so I was concerned I may have been trespassing. This trail was a little too urban for me, it was not comforting to see junk like abandoned mattress and rusted pipes along the trail, as well as litter and pieces of broken glass throughout. I did see an owl which was super cool!!!
Jackie Kendall: Not well marked, I had to pull the map up online a few times to check where I was. At the end, you either come back on same trails or walk down the road, which is what I did. Took about an hour to do all of it. You can hear cars and you are near houses at some points.
Buster Fix: Awesome place
Jeffery Wells: Pleasant trail and nice that volunteers are keeping it up. Shame that there is so much trash and glass on the trail.
Weaver L Forest: Nice sunset
cameron chase: Beautiful views at sunrise. Super safe hike.
Trista Gorrell: The best view of the best city."And I keep singing the same old song - I'm going back to Kansas City" (Look up that song if you wanna hear magic. Kansas City by Marcus Mumford and Bob Dylan. "The New Basement Tapes")
Randy K: Beautiful oasis in the middle of town. Looking forward to going back in the Spring.
Kati Perik: Surprisingly lovely trails
Mist Passiert: The trails are very rough, so be sure you have the right shoes! It's not a lazy stroll in the park. There is very little signage, so you will want to have GPS or Google maps handy in case you get turned around. On a nice day, it's a very relaxing place for a walk!
Leslie Cimino: A hidden gem in KC. Cool trails and great views of downtown.
Ashlee Kriegel-Newburn: The trail itself is really interesting and a great hike but the abundance of discarded tires and broken glass take away from the natural beauty of the trail. Its a pity because it could be a really amazing little hiking spot on the edge of the city. I gave it three stars just because I loved that there were so many little mini routes that you could take.
Jeremy Jahn: It's a nice trail area, but just fyi the paths can be very narrow and steep at times. Also a lot of bugs, so be sure to wear bug spray 😀
Carrie Nicole: Nice small trail within the city. Good City view. Nice memorial.
K. S. (WannaBGourmande): What a fantastic trail! So this is clearly a hiking trail but a lot of folks seem to use it for mountain biking. There's even a trail loop down near the bottom of the hill for mountain biking/parkour. I had such a great time there with my friend! I will absolutely be back. To say that I'm embarrassed that I didn't know about this park until just yesterday is an understatement!
Bill H: Awful mountain bike trail. Very little maintenance. Half the trail no longer exists due to construction. So many better choices
SJ Anderson: It had a nice view but tons of garbage near the memorial - I was afraid I might find a used syringe and glad I didn’t. Looks like a someone decided to have an ad lib campfire near the memorial as well. Woods around were scary too and (from a female perspective dangerous). Busy roads surrounding the park. The trails were unkempt and trash strewn around the trails. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY.
Erin Myers: Quiet
Darin Shreves: A small but fun network of trails tucked into a city neighborhood.

KC Running Company: what do users think?
B K: The shoe that I bought was on sale and tight in the toe box. Unworn, I went back to exchange the running shoe on what could fit 2 weeks later. I was told the the register cannot process the transaction for the exchange and that all sales are final. My fault, I should have read the sale/clearance sign. The rub in all of this? The sale price was $35 - $40.00 higher than online stores with reasonable exchange policies. So much for supporting local business. Henceforth, will buy online.
Josh Cauthon: One of the best places to find running equipment in Kansas City. The staff is always helpful and will take their time to find you exactly what you need.
Amanda Hunt: I didn't get her name but the girl that helped me today was so friendly and helpful! I really appreciate the time she took with me today!
John Bell: Clean store, young man today was very knowledgeable and helpful
Christine Bofenkamp: You never know if you hit someone on an off day... maybe it was. But people skills is important when selling $180 shoes.
Emily LaRue: Great group for support, and they host great group runs
Sarah Pino: Great experience! They had me try on several pairs of running shoes based on how I ran on their treadmill. The shoes & inserts I purchased are great quality and fixed the pain I was having with my feet. Will definitely be a return customer.
Matt Harris: Great selection of anything you need as a runner (e.g. clothes, shoes, tech, etc.). Make sure to visit when you have some extra time to check out the plethora of memorabilia.
Danielle Fleming: Great fun and food!
Joe Conlon: I signed up for a half marathon put on by KC Running company. Hefty signup fee. They canceled the event and refused my multiple requests for a refund. KC Running felt they were entitled to keep my money because I was “one of the few runners who requested a refund.” Told me I could have a t-shirt though, as if that made it even. I was forced to sue them to recover my entry fee. The court awarded me costs as well. Do not do business with this unprofessional company that tried to use the pandemic as an excuse to rip off consumers.
Carla Butler: 😃😃😄 my shoe purchase and visit was truly amazing.
Patrick Grogan: Awesome experience with Kayla. She knew her stuff and helped my son with his heel pain issue with her recommendations of heel cups. Who knew!? Thanks Kayla! NGreatly appreciated.
Samantha Nicolle: KC running company hosts the best running races in town! The medals are always top notch, & the races are well organized. & then if you need new shoes, the staff is knowledgeable and can help you you find the right fit.
Jason Henderson: Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Will put you in the right shoe.
aaron dittemore: Great staff with horrible ownership. Run by people who don’t run and put profit over everything else. I shop anywhere but here for ethical reasons.
Kathy Lesmeister: Great service. Friendly
Billy Munger: In and out. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this place. I'll be Back!
Tim Bosler: Great place and helpful staff
Vira V: Knowledgeable, kind and took the time to get me the right shoe!
Amanda Hardesty: Just stopped by after browsing all the local running stores for some new treads and what a sigh of relief!!!!!! Finally, excellent selection and even better customer service. Mackenzie was helping my mom and I out and she was insanely knowledgeable and patient after spending 2 hours with us in the store. Look no further this is hands down the go to for your feet’s running needs.
w bruce haydon: Knowledgeable about running in KC. A bit expensive.
