Roads that my GPS was telling me to take were closed. Drove around several times.This mall is not your typical mall. Get a map and parking validated from customer service.

Austin craft: It was crowded because of the festival going on this weekend but overall everything was great. Took the family to sea life and afterwards had lunch at Curry in a Hurry. Which was the highlight of my trip.

Frecky Lewis: I had to update my review after visiting Crown Center again last weekend with my family. I'm not sure if the owners of the mall know this, but in order to sell things your stores have to be OPEN. The stores in this mall all close at 6:00 pm on Saturday. We had just finished our dinner at Fritz's in the mall, and at 5:45 we walked over to their special "Fairytale" exhibit that was advertised as being open until 6:00. We found the door locked and couldn't get in. When another family came out through the door we poked our heads in and were told by the desk attendant "It's closed." I asked if the signs were wrong and pointed out that they said the exhibit was open until 6, and she said "No, the signs are right, but we stop letting people in before that." She had no hint of friendliness or sympathy for our two obviously very disappointed children. To the mall management: If you close your exhibit at 5:40, don't advertise that it is open until 6 -- or at least, advertise that fact clearly. Knowing the stores would be closing in 15 minutes, we wandered up to the toy store on the top floor and were told even before entering the store "Just so you know, we close soon." I assured them that we wouldn't take up any of their time by spending money there. We made a few quick passes down the aisle at 5:50 and it was clear that the employees had no interest in anything but shooing everyone out. Perhaps they could have said "We close shortly, but is there anything we can help you find quickly?" Nope. No interest in making sales. Amazingly, there were countless other families wandering around the mall and surrounding area at 6:15 looking for something to do, and I guarantee many of them would have spent money in these stores. People say retail is dying; after visiting Crown Center, I can attest that retail isn't just dying, it is committing suicide.

Norma Patterson: Crown Center is the perfect place to do your shopping. The selection of stores is great, the prices are competitive. Plus, the atmosphere is always welcoming.

Told her the computer tech said there upfront and she acted like I was stupid. We guess what they are upfront. She couldn't say sorry or have a nice day. Bestbuy has lost its touch with consumers. Diane Yzar: Fun place for the entire family. We arrived soon after a thunderstorm. Many rides were shut down for about an hour. Many people were kept away due to recent rains. That kept lines short and more enjoyable for us.

Riley Lyons: Wow.... What a terrible amusement park. Cedar Fair really just takes your money and doesn't care if you have fun or if the rides are safe. Some of the rides are incrediblely rough and ride operators barley check safety belts and lap bars. My wife's seat belt wasn't checked on the timberwolf. A ride that killed someone in the 90's. Also the Mamba was so rough on the return it hurt my back. Bad enough I'm still dealing with pain almost two weeks later.This park has multiple world themes much like Epcot but a rinky dink version. Theming was sparse and only visual employees were just there to take money and push buttons. Several rides were down throughout the day. The food was chicken fingers and burgers at every vendor. Or you can pay 4x the regular price for panda Express or the parks version of Chipotle. Overall I'm never returning to this park.Price for entry: $65.00

Tara Tirrell: If you are a smoker? DON'T GO HERE !!!!!! You will end up spending more time walking out of the park and not having fun at all. The hours of operation got cut down along with half of their food vendors. No more turkey legs, nachos, or churros. Basically chicken strips or pizza are your choices. ☹️ Half of their rides and water features are closed as well. No more aqua obsticale course or Monsoon either. One good thing to note is they added a killer pot roast to the menu at sand dune diner.

Elena McNickle: I’ve lived in KC for 2 years and I’ve been to worlds of fun 6 times. It’s super fun every time!! However the lines are really long on weekends, I made it a point to always go on a week day when I had a chance because then I was able to ride pretty much everything in the park. The only gripe I would say I had is that EVERY SINGLE TIME I went, the Mamba was under maintenance for at least 2 hours. And the last time I went, I visited both Worlds and Oceans of fun on opening weekend, and more than half of the ride at Oceans of Fun were down for maintenance and it was very disappointing. But other than that, it was a great experience with great staff!

We always take one battery in exchange for purchases (When you buy one, we price the battery based upon having the old one with you!) but if you have extra batteries you'd like to sell, we'd love to PURCHASE THEM from you! We purchase the same type of batteries we sell! If you have less than 10 batteries to sell us, we will pay you individually by each one. However, if you have more than 10, we weigh them on our scale and usually, you will receive a couple extra dollars depending on how many you have! The types of batteries we do NOT sell, we will not pay to recycle either."There is no caveat on the website stating that cash payments for old batteries requires purchase of a new / refurbished battery from Best Batteries. I went to the back to move the first one to the front of the store and they kindly said it was fine to leave it there. That was it. Wait... that was it? What about paying for my old batteries?I went back to the front of the store to clarify whether they were going to give me cash for the batteries and I was asked if I had purchased a battery from them. While having this conversation, the gal moved to the cash register, opened it and gave me a $10 bill. For both batteries. No clarification was given. My batteries were not weighed to determine payment. "Core" store credit at O'Reilly and Autozone pays about $20 per battery (I assume Best Batteries does the same if you purchase from them and have an old battery to recycle). But I was getting $5 cash for each?At that point, I was so confused by this all that I just took the $10 and left.This experience left me feeling very uncomfortable and confused. Policies, cash payouts, etc. should be clearly stated AND then followed through in person.I'm all for supporting small businesses. Therefore, I'm even happy to take less than I would get at a large retailer like O'Reilly or Autozone. But this all felt felt really sketchy.There are a lot of good reviews for Best Batteries, so I'm sure this is an honest, reputable business. I'm posting this, however, to educate others on cash-for-battery / recycle transactions they may consider with Best Batteries. At this point, I'd rather have taken store credit at Autozone and O'Reilly (~$44) vs. the cash I was given by Best Batteries ($10).Owners - if there is something obvious I've missed in all of this that is clearly stated somewhere - please let me know and I'll be happy to update this review. The Egyptian, Asian and American Indian exhibits were really great. They have a couple tombs as well as several huge statues from Hindu and Buddhist cultures. The staff is very helpful and includes free coat check with several different areas that’s kid friendly.

H Flowers: The cultural icon of Kansas City. Their collections are incredible. You can go in for free and be there for hours.If you can, I recommend getting a membership since you get access to some of their special exhibits and free parking that you can use not only for museum events but for a lot of other things going on around it.
