Stephen Koesterer: I recently bought a house and the previous owner used this company to put in a new bathtub. When we used the bathtub there was always water leaking into our garage. A plumber told us that the bathtub had been fitted incorrectly and was causing the issue. Malcolm was scheduled to come out and look at it in February but was a no call no show. After having to call everyday for a while I was finally told that Malcolm recently bought the company in April and they were not going to honor the previous owners contract. They wanted me to pay half the initial price for them to come out and fix their mistake. Very unprofessional, would not recommend.

Heather Hansen: I called Best Refinishers of KC to look at getting my bathtub repaired not knowing what to expect, a customer service rep took the time to explain how the process worked. When the sales rep came, Mike, suggested taking the bathtub out and putting a shower in which in all honesty I really wanted but knew it wasn't in my budget. I only had to put a little bit of a deposit down and they financed me!There was a bit of delay in the start date but it wasn't their fault, you can't control shipping especially now days. The sales rep warned me about it to begin with and they kept me informed of project start date even if it did delay!Malcolm, Hector and Antoine came to install the shower and it is beautiful! My son doesn't have an opinion on a lot of work I have done but he was amazed as well! I will say the only downside is that the water wouldn't drain from the shower pan after I used the shower the first day, and Antoine came out not even 24 hours later to fix the plumbing issue.I saw lots of good reviews and there are always a few bad apples in the reviews but personally I don't have anything bad to say. Communication was awesome from the start and I have to have good communication! Everybody has been Professional, excellent customer service and listened to my concerns. Tara Warner: We started a project in January 2022 with enthusiasm. The original salesperson who visited our home after we requested a quote was friendly and very reassuring about the work we were having done. Moving forward to when the work was being done is when we encountered the first customer service issues. The tech they assigned was very unprofessional. He stretched a two day job into a three day job by only taping on the first day, which we found odd. We have taped spaces before on our own and it should not have taken that long. He failed to communicate, blaming it on the his ear buds. He left each day without letting us know he had left, following up with a text after my husband had to text him first to ask if he was complete. The last day he left the job incomplete and very unsatisfactory due to a family emergency. We had sympathy for his situation. When calling to take care of the issue my husband was encountered by Tamra, the office contact we had been dealing with during the process. Her friendly demeanor during the quote process quickly turned defensive and argumentative. When we let her know about the customer service issues, she continued to talk over my husband and defend the actions of the tech based on his family emergency. We informed her that most of the issues occurred before the emergency, but regardless of his personal situation it was their job as the employer to take care of our issues. After lots of going back and forth, she agreed to send out their “best tech Malcolm” who she did not reveal is the actual owner of the company. Malcolm came to our home a few days later to look at our issues, which included unfinished glazing and damage to our fixtures and walls because the product was applied sloppily. He assured us he would take care of it. Most issues were fixed -- not all, our fixture was scratched and there was still bleeding of the product on the downstairs bathroom wall. We were offered through Tamra $100 for our issues, which was unsatisfactory based on the cost of the brand-new fixture that was scratched, and the time and materials that would be needed to fix the wall. When we complained to “best tech Malcolm”, in reality the owner, he stated he had no control but would discuss it with “the owner Angela”, who we later found out to be his wife. After continual aggressive communication with Tamra, we decided to let it be hard lesson learned and pay the balance to be done with this horrible situation. We paid the balance only to find out the next day we were also charged an additional $790.00 on top of our balance. This all happened around January 20th. Fast forward to today, March 20th. My husband and I awoke to a transaction of $1425.69 in our account from the company. This is now the SECOND instance where we have been affected by a fraudulent charge from the company. We advised the that they needed to immediately stop taking automatic payments from our bank account and we permanently revoked authorization. They replied shortly after to state that it was a mistake, but it is very very hard to believe. Even if it was a mistake, which like I said is hard to believe, it is very concerning that they continually have such huge payment issues where a former customer is charged out the blue 2 months later after having former issues with a fraudulent charge. The work they did only two months ago is already chipping in some areas. It is under warranty by the company, but due to their unethical practices and poor customer service I would rather not have to deal with them anymore. Maggie Naylor: I hired Best Refinishers in December to refinish my cast iron tub. They sent a very professional sales man (Mike) out to give me the initial quote. He seemed trustworthy, was helpful and gave me a fair price on the project.Then, when the refinisher was scheduled to come complete the project, this was delayed several times. No weather issues, just simply did not show up during the scheduled time (which as you can imagine, is very frustrating for someone who had to take off work in order to meet him at my home). We rescheduled a few times, they finally completed the project and things looked good.2 days later, to my surprise, there was a large leak through the ceiling below the tub (right into the entry way of my home). I called the company to report this immediately, they sent someone out to look at the leak and tub fixtures (which had been removed for refinishing and put back on my the initial worker). They noted that the faucet and overflow drain were not properly reattached, so there was a large gap allowing water to get through and eventually into walls/ceiling. The man who came out this time put the fixtures on correctly and sealed them with silicone to prevent further leaking. Have had no issues since... but there is still a large blister/crack in my ceiling from the initial shotty work.I received an invoice for the project last week (8 weeks late) and reached out to the company for either a discount on the project or to have them come fix the ceiling. The first woman I talked to (Angela) was helpful and said she would speak to the owner. I called back after not hearing back from them and the second female I spoke to told me there was absolutely no way that their work could have caused the leak (which is entirely untrue as there was no issue prior to them removing fixtures). She told me she could not offer any repair or discount and that she would talk to "Malcolm" and call me back the next morning. It has been 1 week. I have called and left 2 messages. Have not heard back.At this point, I would not recommend this company to anyone as this was a very simple project and has lead to a large headache. I am so happy I did not hire them for a larger project, I can only imagine what kind of issues I would have had.
Raymond Bradshaw: Booked job 2 weeks out. Work was scheduled to begin 9 AM on 1/31 and was scheduled for two days (complete on 2/1). Received a call with “good news” the Friday prior at 5pm that they would only need one day and would only require them to be here on 2/1. The confirmation email arrived on 1/31 and the start time was now 11AM. I was curious how my job that was sold to me as a two day job had now be shortened to one day with a late start, but I had to believe this was normal (and I had already paid a 30% deposit).I received a call around 9 AM on the morning they were to arrive at 11 AM to tell me that they’d now need to be arriving at 1 PM due to another job running over. I expressed my displeasure at the poor communication and how I had arranged my schedule for the work to be done as discussed. They did they’d try to get someone out earlier and they’d call me with follow up.They seemed to attempt to adjust and sent someone out to start the job (who told me it wasn’t on his schedule for the day but they told him he had to come out by 11). This gentleman worked very hard but clearly wasn’t prepared. He said he was mostly on prep duty and the other tech should arrive soon, so he spent 4 hours masking one of the areas and scraping the surface with hand tools. His parter (the main tech Hector) arrived shortly after 3 pm. He had all of the necessary tools prep the areas efficiently, but they were so far behind they didn’t finish stripping/prepping until 7 PM so they’d have to return the next day. We asked they not come back that day (2/2) as there was a snow storm arriving and we didn’t want them here while we were trapped in. I asked their office contact me to schedule. No one called.I waited until 9 AM 2/3 and called the office to schedule for an idea when we could schedule and they agreed to return the next day 2/4 around 9 AM (I told them they could arrive earlier as I was eager to have the project completed, and was told they’d arrive between 8:30-9).Hector arrived around 9:15 and began working. He worked very hard and it appears he did good work. Cleanup was rushed and we are still working on that.I still have not heard from their management team and to this point haven’t received any follow up, but I have gotten a bill. I’d say that this company is definitely more concerned with the transaction rather than delivering a quality experience to build a relationship. Just a disappointing experience overall.

Lori Barngrover: Terrible customer service and treatment of customers. We have used them before to refinish the showers in our rental properties and have been happy. The one we just finished was a terrible experience. The communication was bad, they scheduled times to met at the property then didn't show and didn't call to cancel. It took them several trips to complete the work. They got paint in the plumbing that we then had to pay a plumber to come out and remove the paint. Then after only having the final invoice for one week, they started threating us for non payment. We are out time, rent, and cost of the plumber. Will not be using them again.
Olivia Scheuler: We hired Best Refinishers - KC to refinish our old bathtub. We were doing a whole bathroom remodel - took everything down to the studs EXCEPT the bathtub. When we received a quote from Best Refinishers they asked us to finish everything in the remodel (minus the caulking around the tub) prior to them coming to refinish the tub for us. We followed directions and we regret it. While the tub looks ok, overspray now shows on all of our brand new countertops and fixtures. We called Best Refinishers to fix this. They were no-shows twice for this scheduled clean-up time and when we finally got someone to the house, he was equipped with some acetone and a roll of paper towels. The guy was here for 1.5 hours before leaving but was only able to get about 50% of the overspray off of our fixtures. Now we have a bathroom that should have brand new fixtures but overspray makes them look constantly dirty. Since then we've had no success getting Best Refinishers to either discount our invoice (to pay for the price of the brand new fixtures) or come properly clean. Would have been satisfied with the price & service if their customer service was better.

Deanna Goll: Weber Flooring/Joe's Carpet has a large variety of carpets as well as pricing. We had looked elsewhere but the quality was not as good and we wanted this to last. Store personnel are easy to work with and our installations have been flawless.
George Patterson: We went with Weber because of their name. Unfortunately, they used horribly inexperienced sub-contractors who proceeded to mess up absolutely everything they touched. :( Beware.Update: I had not wanted to go into any detail in hopes that Weber would reach out like a normal business and ask for a conversation, but alas... no. Rather than address the actual issue of horrible subcontractor work and asking for us to contact them with our concerns (which we tried doing in real life back when the work was done), they chose to go on the offense with their reply, laughably and bizarrely blaming their competition. The customer is always wrong I guess? So again: Beware. If you must go with Weber, watch the contractors like a hawk. Get photos and videos of their work. We made the mistake of trusting them while we were away mist of the time and documenting nothing, so we've had to live with the bad job because we can't afford to have it all redone. Hindsight is 20/20.

When we complained, they denied claim saying there was no way.1. They came wrapped from their manufacturer2. They were in my parents heated, dry garage sitting on a carpet3. You couldn't tell until you unwrapped the roll....WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH JOE'S CARPET/ WEBER CARPET AGAIN...

They came out and measured our carpet, we went in and got a bid for almost 7K, took samples home and then get a call from Pat 2 days later saying that because we have 4 dogs he can't find anyone that wants to tear out/install the carpet and that we would have to find our own installer. Another bad thing with Weber's is they require full payment before any work is completed. I went to Wilson's in Platte City and was treated way better.

M Jordan: TileMasters helped us with two projects.The first project was a kitchen backsplash of a mosaic consisting of small squares of tile, glass and aluminum. Alex was very on top of planning and execution throughout the project and James installed the tile very nicely.The second project was included tiling shower walls and a Jacuzzi tub surround, installing new plumbing for the shower and the tub, and installing two glass walls and a frameless glass door and an Onyx shower pan in the shower. We were very happy with the entire project. Alex repeatedly measured planned and coordinated with vendors for the glass and the Onyx shower pan to ensure everything would go together just right. We are very happy with the appearance of everything (the tile, the glass, and the plumbing fixtures). Gustavo did a great job on the tile. We were very happy with his attention to detail. Everyone was considerate—protecting our hardwood floors and cleaning up every day—and they were very pleasant to have in our home.If you need some tile work done, we would highly recommend Tile Masters!!Thank you Tile Masters for your beautiful work!
Ryan Gray: We had a crack in our kitchen sink and it had to be replaced. I had put the job off for sometime because I was nervous about pulling it out and not damaging our granite countertops.Eventually, we hired a large local plumbing company to come out and get the job done. When they came to start the job, they quoted me an astronomical amount, and an hour later stopped the job as they were unable to get the sink out. They suggested finding a company that specializes in granite countertops.My wife stumped upon Tile Masters from Google and that made all the difference!At first, they were booked the week we needed the job done, but they CALLED BACK and was able to fit us in! Alex came out that next day to evaluate the job and provided a reasonable quote.The day of the job, Alex came back out with his team to make sure they understood the details of the job, and they got it completed without any trouble. No damage to the countertops - and a quality job - where they actually cleaned up after!It's so refreshing to see a company that not only does QUALITY work but centers itself around customer SERVICE! We plan on using Tile Masters again for larger jobs (remodel bathroom/kitchen) and will certainly be recommending them! Great job guys, thank you all so much! A+++!

Brianna Dean: Kenny’s flooring made my home beautiful again! After a drunk driver hit our home, we had to have the floors ripped up to have the foundation fixed. Kenny’s was able to tear the hardwood up, replace it, and refinish it without being able to tell that the floor was pieces back together. The men who did all the work were very kind and hard workers.
