John Kimmel: I have been a patient of Dr Ledford ever since his predecessor, Dr Trussel, retired. He is an excellent dentist. He and his assistants always explain what they are doing, and why it is necessary. I have never been a fan of needles, but when its necessary his method is outstanding. I am never concerned or anxious about that in his clinic. He and his team are definitely a five star operation.
Jason McCall: Folks at Blue Stream are professional, courteous and always great at what they do. They take time to solve all issues and are great at easing anxiety around any procedures.
MeeMee Heart: He's a perfectionists. Shelby is my hygienist, they care about your hygiene. Great staff! 10 stars of possible.

Steve Roberts: I walked into the office of Dr. Ledford unannounced, without an appointment, because I had a chipped tooth. Within the hour Doc was able to get me into a chair, look at it, then fix it and send me on my way. It was a very rewarding experience. It was economical and it provided me some serious relief. Carolyn B: I’ve been going to the dentist here since 1990. First I saw Dr. Trussel, and upon his retirement, I became a patient of Dr. Ledford. I give the medical team 5 stars, but parking no stars. There are no parking places for a van with a wheelchair ramp. I drove around the lot for 30 minutes until two regular spaces became available. Then I had to park over the line to guarantee I could get back in my vehicle. As much as I like the dental team, I may have to find another dentist with accessible parking. 😭

I had ask one of the ladies if she would write it down on my previous visit and forgot to take it with me. He's had plenty of time to time to think about it and do the right thing, and I dropped off a copy of the sheet the Lady filled out for me.I plan to file a complaint with the MO Attorney General's Office, the BBB and a MO Dental Association if applicable.

Deaira Royé: The pain I was was so unbearable, I was crying searching for a dental office that would help me ,everyone was high even with my insurance. I received a call from Shonda at Smile Palace ! She was like a gift from Heaven, I was so thankful she scheduled me an appointment that day! I went into the office where I was examined by Essence(Dental Assistant)… Essence was very professional with everything .. I was told I had to get a tooth extraction , which was very discouraging for me being only 30yrs old.. But they made sure everything was took care of and even offered a line of credit to help pay for the replacement …Shout out to Dr Lee for the extraction I’m so thankful Smile Palace !!!

skyler hull: Yesterday I felt some pain and swelling so I needed to get into a dentist quickly. I called Smile Palace and they were able to get me in quickly which I was happy about! More importantly though, I was greeted by a friendly front desk person and a smile. I met a couple of the other ladies there I initially who were very attentive, and also very friendly. They made sure I was comfortable and they understood what brought me in. Then I met DR. Shaw, who did a wonderful job! The whole time she made sure I didn't feel any pain and that I remained comfortable! Also, I saw them interact with another new patient who was a little boy. They came into the lobby, spoke to him on his level and immediately made happy to be at the dentist. I also have a little boy and am excited to have found a dentist I can take my family to. We live in Olathe, but will happily make the drive to continue going to this office!

Jordan went above and beyond the scope of duty. As i was in tears over payment she took the time to assure me it was alright. Life is pretty rough (its 2020) but this person helped me through an incredibly anxious experience. Props to the Dentist, Dr Shah ( i believe ) for being accommodating as well. I have intense respect for this place. They are ALWAYS friendly and communicative, they always let me know how much a procedure will cost before I have the work done, they return calls promptly and I never have a long wait for an appointment if I have an emergency. Dr Jackson (and all of the procedure staff) are so amazing. Theyre SO gentle and ALWAYS make sure that I am comfortable. I can LITERALLY take a nap while Dr Jackson is working! Ive never had a bad dental experience but I've seen enough people who have where going the dentist is an anxiety trigger and I feel very lucky to have found an office that is professional, convenient and does wonderful work.

Grace Ninesling: I’ve lived in 5 major cities in the US and this is the best dentist office I have ever been to, hands down! They are kind, respectful and honest, and make the cleaning quick and easy. They do not push unnecessary treatments or procedures and are super knowledgeable.
Allison Crecelius: Barb is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had! So knowledgeable and gives great advice. Dr. Brent is very sweet and welcoming. The entire staff is amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Sierra Becker: Although my dentist and assistant were so fantastic and kind, I did not have a good experience here. I hadn’t been to the dentist is a long time, so I was aware that I was going to have lengthy dental issues. My issue was the lack of proper patient education given. My bill was never properly explained to me so I was shocked at the amount when it was all done, there was no education on what I could or could not do after the procedure (what I could eat/shouldn’t eat), and billing ended up being a nightmare for me. My bill was over 5,000 after insurance and I was paying in increments (which they accommodated) as I am a struggling nursing school student. Then, I got a call today saying that my bill was going to the debt collectors. I was told that they had left several messages and talked to me over the phone and via text. This never happened. I had never been in contact with any one from KC Family Dental since my last appointment. I checked my phone call and text message receipts and this was the first message I had received. I felt the blame was being put on me for pure lack of communication. If you’re someone who doesn’t have tons to spend on the dentist, maybe consider going elsewhere.

A beautiful modern and comfortable facility and excellent care with none of the “upsell” pressure I experienced at a previous dentist. But the best thing about Kc Family Dental is the patient care and friendliness of Dr. Brent, Melissa, and the staff. I have spent my life dreading dentist trips (as a candy fiend with frequent cavities) but they are always easygoing, professional, communicate clearly and are just very warm and kind people. Haven’t had a cavity since I started going two years ago. (Hooray!) I highly recommend them.
Elisa Walls: First off, can I just say that I have never been in any kind of doctors office that is so accommodating and professional. The front office staff are kind and always on top of everything. They even asked me how I was doing after my grandmother passed away a couple of weeks back. My hygienist Jamie (I think that’s how you spell it 😊) was so kind and made me feel comfortable throughout my time there. She greeted me with a smile and It was almost like I was just hanging out with her while I was in the chair. We talked about food and giggled at what was on TV. She was very thorough in my cleaning and extremely gentle when flossing, simply because I hate flossing 😊. The new doctor Dr. Alivia was great too! I didn’t get to speak much with her as she didn’t need to stay with me that long, but she greeted me with a smile and was kind while she checked out my teeth.Keep up the hard work KC Family Dental! You all rock!
