Liv G.: I delivered food, lunch today, to one of your employees with Doordash. Doordash drivers pay for their own gas, cars, car insurance and time... And your employee gave me $0 for a tip. This means I paid for the gasoline, auto insurance and paid for my time working to deliver lunch to an employee of yours that I don't even know. This is horrible! We each must pay our own way in the world and not take advantage of other people! What are the values of your employees??

We then found out about all of the rest of the great projects that they work on, like multi-family and commercial.When The Bristol Groupe, our company, decided to build our first multi-family project we wanted to put together the best team possible. Without question we were going to NSPJ. Now that the project is well on its way, one of the greatest things I have learned about what makes them so great to work with is that the team at NSPJ listens.The way our commercial and now residential properties look and feel is important to us and we take a hands on approach to design. Tim Homburg has done an amazing job of presenting his and the teams ideas, incorporating ours and merging the two together. Ron Langstaff: NSPJ -- more particularly Katie Martinovic and Brad Hus -- recently designed our patio (where none had been before) and related landscaping.Although our job was relatively small, they treated it like it was to us – critically important, not only for the value and appearance of our home, but also for the need to resolve associated drainage issues (e.g., an abrupt slope between our two back doors, and only a slight slope away from the house).NSPJ provided creative designs and detailed plans; always kept our budgetary constraints in mind; readily listened to and helped to guide our thoughts; addressed both aesthetics and structural requirements (special footings, rebar interlocking each of the patio components, etc.); recommended contractors (particularly helpful); helped obtain construction permits and solicit bids; and periodically visited the jobsite during construction. Through it all, they were gracious and enjoyable.We could not be more pleased with the end result: a two-tiered patio of brick and concrete, with a retaining wall and gently-sloping stairs, all set within a cocoon of beautiful plantings.

George Koloroutis: Contacted them in October 2016 and spoke with Rick Jones. He told me at that time they were swamped and that they could not start until after the first of the year. I said that's ok, I will call you in March if that works. He said it did. I called him yesterday, March 13th 2017, and he told me they are still swamped and won't be able to help to me until next year. I was shocked since I had taken him at his word that we could get going in the first quarter of 2017. I expressed my disappointment and frustration. There was no apology. No attempt to fix it. He repeatedly uttered, "I don't know what else to tell you. We just don't have time." This level of treatment from a firm that came highly recommended to me was a let down to say the least. I've heard that NSPJ does good work. And I have seen some of it firsthand. But I remain baffled by the less than professional behavior and communication. There seems to be an intrinsic disregard for the client's well being. Maybe this will work out better in the end as I will find another provider. A provider that values my patronage.

John Reed: Great staff with wonderful services.
Lazlo Hollyfeld: Absolutely shoddy, ill-conceived and unprofessional architecture and design principles. I wouldn't trust them to design an outhouse, let alone a professional sports stadium. Just witnessed a game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ, a Populous designed stadium. In that stadium, there's absolutely no way to get from Section 455 to section 401, despite the fact that they're immediately adjacent and only 200 feet apart. Because of the way the foot traffic flows into the Stadium, if you enter in the "wrong" entrance or go up the "wrong" escalator, instead of merely walking 200 feet to your seats, you must circumnavigate over 340 degrees of the entire Stadium, instead of the 20 degrees that go directly to your seats. Same issue in the 300 level seats. Same issue in the 200 (e.g. Section 201 to 248). The city of Glendale, AZ should sue Populous for design malpractice.

Allera B: We thought the layout and the design of our house was great and we trusted KEM Studio to deliver a great product. We didn’t realize until later that some aspects of the design were not functional or erroneous. We have a guest bedroom right next to HVAC unit and a condenser unit above the room. Imagine the noise they make when they turn on. Didn’t realize that until our guests told us that it was hard to sleep in that room because it was noisy/loud.
