A week later still no response. I’ve called and emailed with no response. I’ve now wasted 3 weeks of time waiting when I could of been looking for an accountant that actually wanted my business instead of being blown off.

No one contacted me for a whole year. They had my phone number, address, email address and the only way I found out was when I went back to file my taxes for this year. When I asked him about the penalties and interest they told me that they wouldn't cover it because somebody reached out to contact me but no one did. She basically told me it was her word against mine. Needless to say I won't be going back and I suggest you don't either.

Insight Ind. LP.: The worst tax Accountant Agency in town. I came to her office on 08/20/2019 for services and assistance with providing direction for my business. My appointment was at 10:00. I came on time. I’ve consulted with other Accountants and they never made you pay a consult fee, however, they did. I came on time and the first thing I was asked for was my consultant fee ($250). I paid the fee, was a little taken back due to having to pay before you even see the accountant, however, I paid. I waited, it was 10:20 when I asked the the secretary when I would see the account at which time she advised me that she was not actually in the office and was running late from a previous appointment and would be coming soon. The accountant came at 10:30 or so, for a 10:00 appointment. I was very upset and wanted to leave, however I stayed at the request of my partner.My partner and I go into her office to discuss the best option for our business structure and she tells us that she would start the new corporation and file the required paperwork. I requested that this be completed in December so that I could be ready to get everything we needed so that we could be in place on January 1, 2020. At this time we paid her an additional $405.December comes around and I received no call and no information. I call the office and her secretary answers and proceeds to ask questions about the type of filing, when it was supposed to be filed etc all, information that should be known if they kept appropriate record. All this and my $605 has been cashed and no real work done.At this time I’m very upset. Marquita gives me a call back several days later stating she understood that she was to start the filing of the business in January. I tell her, specifically and explicitly, that was not the conversation and she becomes indignant. She tells me she may need to contact me when I’ve calmed down. I explain I don’t need her services and would like a refund of my money. She states she would return my money in the form that she received it. I say great and move on.Now, she did send the money certified mail and I was not able to pick it it. I don’t really pay it much attention until I realize she owes me.I call the office on May 4 to ask for my refund. The secretary states she will have Marquita call me. Two days later Marquita calls me back stating she would look into it. A week later, after receiving no follow up call I call back. Once again the secretary takes a message stating she would have her return my call. A day later I call and the secretary stated Marquita has looked into it and has the check info, but due to COVID-19 the banks are closed and when the reopen she will contact me to verify!At this point, I explicitly tell the secretary you must think I am a stupid. All banks are open and still doing business. At this point the Secretary becomes indigent and hangs up.This is the worst excuse for a business I’ve seen in a while. Use them at your own risk. If and when you do, be prepared for her to be late, collect money up front and always have a miscommunication to resolve.Additionally, my business partner sends her an email requesting payment in full by May 21. She writes a return email stating she only wants to communicate via email due to the way I spoke with her office personnel. She continued on to state she was attempting to let me know that she could not meet with her bank manager and was waiting on an appointment with them to see where the cashiers check was.I explained I contacted her bank via their tele banking services where there was a Client Services Personnel to assist M-F 7a-8p and Sat 8a-4p, whom stated could assist with finding out if the check had been cashed and further communication would be with my attorney or courts requesting full refund. I’d like to mention this email was at 5:30 pm. At 7:10 she instant messages my business partner stating “the branch manger had the original check, I just got back from the bank” (Banks don’t keep cashiers checks)Sorry, there is no bank open after 5:00pm.

Garryl Tee: I found this firm on youtube so I decided to give them a call for a quote. I am very displeased with their service! I did a consultation over the phone since I live out of state, and was charged $175.00. Just for a consultation. Mind you, the consultation was 1 hour , and I'm not sure what I was paying for but it was definitely not worth it. She just explained the tax laws and the ways I could go about filling for 2019. Very basic stuff to say the least (again, not worth $175.00). I needed someone specifically with expertise in the area of barbering/cosmetology/small business, so I decided to give them a shot anyway (silly me of me). After a few email exchanges, days later, as well as a few bank statements that i forwarded to her admin named Naomi, I was not given a reply. I feel like they took my consultation money and didn't bother to reply back, EVEN though I was willing to pay for their accounting service going forward. At least have the courtesy to respond to your potential clients who paid for a consultation! Do not waste your time or money! Horrible experience.
