Jordan “JG” Gallant: The Power & Light Apartments are great & have nice amenities. Most importantly, their security is top of the line, mainly for one reason… & his name is Ralph. Ralph is tactical & always has the place secured. He keeps his head on a swivel & stays focused, unlike other security guards we’ve seen at other apartment buildings where they do nothing! You can ask any resident at Power & Light & they will tell you Ralph is good at his job & I agree!
Adnan Islam: This place is awesome to live. The staff is easy to contact and very helpful. The location and amenities are great. What made it for us was that the inside of the apartments is nicer compared to other similar complexes nearby.
Kenna Alber: Please note the website is miss leading. There is no hot tub. It was filled in with cement. The pool is broken a lot and often leaks into the garage so make sure to not have parking under the pool. Also the north building has fire alarms go off numerous times a month in the middle of the night due to glitching. Lastly the elevators in the main building are EXTREMELY unreliable and break down often. I personally have been stuck in them twice and once the elevator slipped down a few floors when it stopped. If you have a pet this building won’t be for you. You never know how long it could be just to get your dog outside. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Worst apartment living experience ever. After the elevators broke due to the people working not knowing how to shut the emergency water off and causing the building to flood and have long term issues that have been short termed fix but caused long term issues for the building and the shortcuts cause daily issues for residents.
Sarah Sipple: We're so happy to be here. Nowhere else has felt more like home! The staff is responsive and helpful (though rarely ever needed), the community is quiet, and the amenities are fabulous! The location is one of the best features, too- a very short walk to a grocery store, the streetcar, restaurants, movie theater, and more. It feels like luxury, but at a similar price point as other downtown spots with less to offer.

The apartments are spacious and modern and the complex has great amenities. The common spaces are very well kept and the pool is perfect in the summer. The staff is wonderful, very fast to respond with any questions, issues or inquiries. Great place to live!

Sarah Montoya: Absolutely WORST experience at an apartment EVER!!!!! They have a security guard on staff who is completely unhinged. I felt extremely unsafe there with this security guard and he even laid hands on a friend of mine. When I told the apartment about this they said they were aware of this and other complaints about this security guard. I live in another apartment complex run by the same parent company and I have zero complaints. I thought moving to Power & Light would be the same but it was an absolute nightmare.
kevinmaster5000: Most google reviews are due to building management asking you to review as soon as you move in, thus overall positive. Building has both structural and management issues, making it overpriced because same service is provided at lower tier buildings.

There are a few things that could be better addressed such as the unfixable leak from the pool, or the smell in the Bridge hallway from time to time that comes from the carpet, or the trash pickup inconsistencies. These are things that should not be issues considering the amount one pays to live here. But those aside the building is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and kind.

But hands down, Ralph their security guard is awesome!! He helped me move back in Aug 2020. Ralph was personable and easy going but did his job to the T. The pricing was fair especially w/ all the amenities that are included such as 15 spots guest parking. I compared to the other luxurious apartments in KCMO and P&L Apartments offers way more: sq ft: pricing, personal garage pickup at your door, dog park, pool, hottub, sauna, pet of the month, varies events for residents monthly, media room, study room, and gym. Now that I have moved to Minneapolis, I miss the treatment from P&L Apartments. The apartments are very nice and well kept. I stayed in the north building on 6th floor. I had super tall ceilings, the place was ventilated appropriately. My neighbors were great. Honestly at times I felt like I lived in the apartment complex alone b/c I never heard a sole, the walls are thick. I referred a friend to this apartment complex, she lives in the tower building but she loves it too. In the Tower they usually have elevator issues but P&L Apartments are prompt to fix these issues. I did not really experience elevator issues in the North building. Overall I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you plan on living downtown Kansas City, MO!

Every time we went somewhere, we kept comparing everything to Power & Light.The apartment has top of the line appliances and fixtures. The amenities are beautiful and elegant. The building has a "Gatsby" feel to it. The 31st floor beacon lounge you can reserve for baby showers, birthday parties, or just for whatever has the best views of the city.The location of the Power & Light apartments is perfect. One block for the grocery store and streetcar. Two blocks from KC Live where we have watched many Chiefs games.Katie and her staff are top notch. Security and the Maintenance team are on top of all your needs.We love it here!!

Under new mgmt effective in early 2022, everything has been amazing and all of the issues have been fixed! The people in the office (Scott, Carla, Brandon) are amazing to work with and maintenance requests are completed timely (within a day). We have secure parcel lockers for packages now which are super cool. The terraces are awesome to hang out and grill with friends, neighbors, and all the dogs. There is a washer/dryer in the apartment and a free full-size washer/dryer for the big stuff. You don't even have to go outside to use the gym or the stationary bikes (so no excuses not to bring sexy back after Covid). You simply cannot beat this location!!! You can walk to the plaza in minutes for shopping, restaurants, and special events like the Plaza Art Fair. There is a bar (called The Bar) right across the street that has amazing food and is a great vibe, there is a huge dog park a few blocks away, and it's within walking distance of Westwood Park and Loose Park, which my puppers love! You don't have to worry about parking because you have an assigned space, and any guests can easily find a parking spot on the street. Do yourself a favor and tour this community today! I love my apartment, my neighbors, and the staff here!

I have lived in other apartments before, but have never had anyone nearly as responsive and accommodating as Shelbie and the rest of management here. They're more like friends than anything. Maintenance requests are answered the same day, packages are delivered straight to our doorstep, and they don't try to charge us for random hidden fees like a lot of the other complexes I've lived in. Seriously couldn't have asked for a better home!!!
Hollyn Rezac: I love living at West Hill! Management is always available to communicate and service us.... our needs are always met promptly and effectively (as if we were the only tenants)! We are taken care of extremely well. This apartment is comfortable and welcoming. The facilities are always accessible and I love the private parking lot!!! Not having to worry about my cars safety is a big plus. My roommate and I are happy we've made it our home.

Tonya Whiteside (D'vyne Fai'vr): For them to charge so much for rent and you still have to pay for parking. Where's the dog park oh in front of the building !! Where's the nearest homeless shelter oh the parking garage! Stairwell smelled like dog urine all the time. Not to mention the after hour's across the street until 4 am of loud car music and crowds. Guess everything that glitters ISN'T GOLD !!
Syd: Honestly, living with Mac has been kind of a headache to say the least. Yes the apartment building itself is nice, but management is pretty terrible. We have had countless cars get broken into, damaged, and even stolen. We all asked for cameras to be installed in our lots and Mac still hasn’t. Our elevator was broken down for about 3 months. It was only back operational again once we all complained and asked for rent money back. It is operational again, however it has had a shattered panel and been scheduled for maintenance since before even I moved in (which was July). They simply turned it back on and placed a sign saying “Please be gentle, the elevator is scheduled for maintenance”. It has been up for over 4 months now. I don’t even think it’s currently safe to use, and I would honestly be surprised if the call button for emergencies even works. Residents allow their animals to use the restroom on the stairs and elevators, and will also leave trash and old food in the lobby. Mac does nothing to reprimand this behaviour, since the only single camera is in the lobby and they don’t even monitor it. No cameras in the stairwell or hallways. Not the safest area either, I do not feel comfortable going to my car at night when it’s dark out. Also, if you get locked out of your unit with the janky ‘sometime’ automatic locking doors, be prepared to sit in your hallway for over 3 hours since their maintenance man is MIA and they would rather make you wait then send anyone else with a key fob. Lastly, don’t bother paying for a membership for the pool/gym, since it was closed majority of last summer again and again by the health department. Yuck! Living here hasn’t been the worst experience of my life, but it also hasn’t been that enjoyable either. Rent here is high and they’ll charge you for everything they can… it’s best to spend your money elsewhere.

Promises were made to fix it that Friday but never delivered. The trash chute has been broken on 2 occasions. Stay away from this complex.

Rio Tysk: Cambria Luxury Rentals (CLR) is AMAZING. I lived here for two years and would’ve stayed many more if I didn’t move states. I have nothing but positive things to say from my experience living here.The staff at CLR incredible - specifically Heather in the leasing office. Heather always has a smile on her face and gives tenants a warm welcome and goodbye whenever we cross paths. She also responds in a timely fashion to all emails and effectively communicates with tenants so we are up-to-date on all maintenance, community events, and pertinent information. Heather frequently coordinates fun events for tenants to mingle and share drinks or food. She genuinely cares about the tenants experience at CLR and it shows!In addition, the maintenance team typically responds in 24hrs to requests made. I submitted a few requests and they were fulfilled and completed in less than a few days.The appliances in the units are top-notch and quality. The apartment building is also kept in a clean condition. There is an excellent coffee machine in the lobby that I used everyday.You cannot get a better view of the Plaza than at CLR. It has a beautiful view overlooking the plaza and is a quiet neighborhood at night. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance and the community and streets are clean. There are a few health clubs withing walking distance that make up for no gym area in the building.There is also a good demographic of tenants at CLR. Tenants are respectful, nice, quiet, and keep their door spaces clean and neat. The range of ages is anywhere from young professionals to successful, older professionals that makes for an inclusive and enjoyable community.I would recommend CLR to anyone that is looking for 1) a luxury living experience with a fair price 2) belong to a diverse community of respectful and successful adults 3) live in an area with a wide selection of restaurants and shopping that is busy during the day and quiet at night 4) a good view of the Plaza 5) a building with an excellent management staff!

Biggest cons would be the lack of amenities in the building and, more recently, the lack of security for package deliveries. On the whole, I would strongly recommend living in Cambria!
JT: We were told a few weeks ago that the office in our apartment building would be staffed daily. With this, the packages would no longer be stored in the secured office. There is no one in the office! Our packages are placed in the open common area for anyone to take and there is no organization of them. Also, you cannot have dry cleaning pickup and return services unless you carry it over to the sister complex office which is fully staffed. While we have great views and great apartments, we have no customer services available to us. Very disappointing for the prices we pay to live here. I keep hearing from those that have been here longer than me, we are the "step child". I'm starting to believe it. Thanks,

They are not willing to negotiate at all, even though we have paid every month, on time, and she caused absolutely no problems while she lived there. Very very disappointed...

Jasmine Abou-Kassem: I have been living at Cambria for at least 5 years and have always loved the location and my unit, as well as their maintenance care. Most recently, I reached out to their management office regarding replacement of carpet. The manager, Savannah Gochenour, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very attentive to my communications, timely scheduled coming to my place and checking out my request, then scheduled the carpet replacement really quickly. They came in, got it done, and I am so happy with the results. I can tell Savannah really values the tenants, which is rare these days for any multi-tenant complex. Way to go Cambria! I would highly recommend living at Cambria to anyone!!
Vince Vaughan: I have lived here for almost 2 years and it is best apartment experience of my life. After living up north for most of my life, I decided to give "city" living a try. As soon as I walked into my apartment, I fell in love with the view and moved in a week later. The management group is top notch. They are always running events, and in Covid times, they ensure that people feel safe and are safe when they attend. The maintenance people are so kind and very thorough and attentive. I love living at Cambria (where I have the best view of the plaza anywhere)
Ashley Dawn Schulte: Best apartment complex I've ever rented from! I absolutely loved the location on the Plaza. My move-in was a breeze and so was my move-out. I cannot tell you how helpful their staff and management was throughout my two leases. When I re-upped my lease I requested a fresh coat of paint on the walls -- Cambria had painters out within the week. The other residents that live there are very friendly and the cost of rent is very reasonable for the area. Also, the parking is very convenient. I lived in a studio and it was beyond spacious especially compared to other shoe box studios I've seen -- lots of storage space. Take away -- rent from these folks because the staff is respectful and goes above and beyond.
Maya Burtin: Cambria is such a wonderful place to live. The staff are friendly, kind, and very responsive when there are concerns or issues. The location is wonderful and the views are amazing. If you have a chance, definitely check out this wonderful apartment and location. I have seen several negative reviews on other apartments because staff are unresponsive when there’s an issue. I have NEVER had that issue. No matter how many times I email the office or tell them about an issue I am having, they are very very responsive and quick to fix any issues (i.e, maintenance, etc.). Definitely check them out!
Qiyang Lian: This might be the only place where you can overlook the entire Plaza and have direct sunlight in your rooms. It is professionally maintained. The management team is beyond helpful. I requested servicing three times in the past. All problems were fixed the next business day. The only reason I would move out is me getting a house. Cambria is perfect.
Katie Swetala: I have been a resident at Cambria Luxury Rentals for over 7 years and I have zero complaints. The community of residents are friendly, quiet and respectful. The location of the building is perfect for Plaza dining and shopping, trips to nearby Brookside/Westport/Crown Center/Crossroads and jogs to Loose Park. The floor plan of my unit (1-bedroom/1-bathroom) is spacious and well-planned - highlights for me include an in-unit washer/dryer, private balcony access and an abundance of cabinetry and storage. The Management team is professional, transparent and responsive - any maintenance issues I have ever had were addressed and corrected in a very timely manner. Finally, the safety measures in place (assigned parking, coded building/elevator access, COVID-response, etc.) have helped me always feel safe as a single woman coming and going from the building in the early morning or late evening hours. This community is home!

Balcony is great, full size washer/dryer, dishwasher and refrigerator make for easy daily living. Electronic entry to parking, building and elevators is easy and secure. Assigned parking is a big plus in this area of town!

Dat Le: Beautiful, spacious, modern, fantastic location, marvelous staff. We love leaving at Cambria Luxury Rentals. I and my friends have been leaving here for almost a year. Our experience are awesome. The interior of each apartment have a unique design but the most interesting things that impress me the most is the view to the plaza at dawn is like I am lost in a romance story. The leasing staff are amazing. They went over and beyond what I expected. They love their residence and they care for each of us and in time when we needed them. They usually come up with some fun event in the building to make people stay at the place feel fun and comfortable like they are at home. The place located above the Country Club Plaza I just only need to take a few steps and I am already in the plaza. Well taken care. Extremely happy with my choice of this Cambria Apartment and i truly recommended and thanks the staff.
Victor Lee: Been here for more than 2yrs now, overall couldn't be happier with our experience. Best location you can find in KC, right on the Plaza. Felicia (property mgr) is very responsive, professional, and friendly. She throws a lot of events and happy hours for the tenants. Unit is clean, well maintained, and cozy. Rent is relatively affordable compared to the location as the apartment doesn't have fancy amenities. That was perfectly fine for us as we went to Woodside (healthclub nearby) but could be a Con for some folks. Lastly, make sure you get the Plaza view, you're missing out a lot without the view.
Shannon Niernberger: I lived here for about 8 months. It's a good place to live, location wise. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who is new to the city and looking to make friends, though. There are no amenities and the only events hosted are happy hours at 3-4pm on weekdays, so it's difficult to meet people aside from the elevator. On top of that, this building shares its employees with its sister site, so no one is in the front office until around 1pm daily. That makes it hard to reach an employee when someone is needed. There's a lot of potential here, and again, AWESOME location, but the staff really needs to do more. This place never felt like home to me.

bhavana purighalla: One Light has been an amazing home for the past two years! AD has been an amazing and wonderful life style coordinator and has always had great events. Some of my favorites so far have been the holiday party the derby day party and just the pool activities every weekend. Another great story from my time at one light was when I got sick and my friends helped me through the two months I was sick..they helped me through it and had a party for me when I was off meds! I love my one light family and I’m grateful for my one light family :)

So many breakfasts and cool events, we even had an orchestra and aerialists accompanied by champagne and desserts. Definitely recommend this place.

Randy: The maintenance group truly knows their work. Fast service, very knowledgeable, very analytical in solving my problem. In my case, the solution was not obvious. It took a lot of rationale thinking to drill down and determine the root cause. And they stuck with it discovering some hidden defects and resolved those issues as well. Excellent service and I was impressed! Nice work!Had a chance to experience this group again. They are excellent. Got to me right away and resolved the problem. Great team!These guys don’t walk, they run all day getting things done. What a great group!Always impressed with their work and commitment to getting repairs made quickly!

There are resident events which include music, bars, restaurants, game nights, pool movie nights, sip and paint, wine or tequila tasting, pool parties and a One Light Perks Card to get discounts at local stores. The Genesis gym is included for free.The market store is downstairs and can be acessed without goingoutside when weather is bad.There is a green roof park on top of the garage ,that our dog loves to play at. The maintenance team is amazing and our dog (Dobby) loves seeing them.The house keeping department keeps the place clean and beautiful. We have lived in downtown for about 5 years now. There is not anything like this place! Your only limitation is how social you want to be!

My dog walker wasn’t coming until 11:15am, and I couldn’t find anyone else sooner, or to stay with my pup, so I reached out to Danica Gall who to leased me (a seamless transition btw) to see if she could recommend anyone, and she offered to go up herself and check on my baby!! The staff are amazing and attentive to any requests, the amenities are top tier (with possibly the best pool in downtown KCMO), and the location is perfect! With a grocery store on the first floor, complimentary access to Genesis Gym on the second floor, and the KC Street Car that services from union station to the Rivermarket... I don't drive during the weekend.The community here is wonderful, I have made new friends in a very short period of time. The complex has multiple events per month for the tenets of the building and makes it fun and inclusive for all.I face the west side of the city and have an amazing view. I have very minimal issue with noise, however, this may be different depending on the apartment view you have.There is 24/7 security/door service that monitors the entry areas.I have really enjoyed my time in OneLight and would recommend this complex to anyone.

Pickwick Plaza Apartments: what do users think?
Wan Kuzac: Lived at Pickwick from February 2021 - December 2022. When I first moved in, it was a completely different leasing company and the building was not in great shape, especially with the amenities. Chose the apartment due to price and location.Once OneCityKC took over the building, they started renovating all of the amenity spaces, hallways, and apartments of each floor. Was a little annoying to live there during that time with all of the construction that was going on, but it paid off because it restored life back into the building.Overall, enjoyed my time and had no real issues. Biggest complaints are that the walls are really thin and you could hear your neighbor, even if they are speaking at a normal level as well as the ventilation in the building not being the best since you can’t open windows.
Sarah T: Pros and Cons.Cons-1.) There is an issue with the ventilation in the apartments and insulation in the windows. There is terrible condensation in the windows for half the year. This caused mold and bacteria to grow on the windows (see image). The condensation also warped the wood floors. Management instructed us to stuff towels in the windows. It’s was a lot of work changing the towels daily and things still not damaged. They said don’t worry because they will paint over it when we move out.2.) Two bikes stolen from the garage. During our tour they showed us a bike storage room. It never got finished, so we had to store them in the garage.3.) Multiple car windows smashed in my partners car. We knew management wasn’t too concerned about it, but we at least wanted the footage. We asked several times and they never followed through.4.) TONS of fire alarms. We even had to evacuate in the middle of the night in the freezing cold. Never has there been an actual fire. At least 5 false alarms. My cat low key has PTSDPros:1.) Nice gym and good downtown location! Sauna is cool.They are running a promotion for their residents where if we write a review we get a bottle of Prosecco! That’s why I am writing the review. No hard feelings guys :)
Joseph Valenti: Terrible management. Avoid if you like heat or AC. Worst 2021-2022 Winter ever, they (Tanya & Tyler) never cared that I was freezing, their answer was more space heaters which drove up the Evergy bill. They ignored my letter asking to pay my Evergy bill, they refused to help at all. So glad to be done with Pickwick, this complex is a mess, avoid this pit and move on.

Unfortunately the larger units at the property were out of my budget but I love the OneCityKC company so much I stayed within their system! I love their focus on renovating already existing, beautiful buildings!! Working with them from move in to move out has been a breeze. The amenities at Pickwick plaza are UNBEATABLE and UNMATCHED in the KC area. You’ll live above wonderful small businesses, an amazing coffee shop (best in KC imo), and even a UPS. The parking garage is very convenient and on the lower end of price point for parking downtown. The units are not the largest so keep that in mind if space is important but they make the small space as efficient as possible. Overall loved living here and highly recommend.

Got offered a studio, so I figured I’d make my drive time worth and check it out. Was really disappointed in the quality the apartments portrayed.Got a text following my exit asking how my experience was and let them know about this and there response was “ ok. Thanks for your time”.Lack of professionalism and communication.Hope your experience isn’t as bad as mine.
Gage Katzer: Me and my friend were out looking for units and Pickwick Plaza was the last stop of the day! We walked in and we were instantly greeted by Aubrey who leaded our tour around the property. She showed us two units and answered all of our questions without even having to ask. We were extremely pleased with the luxe amount of amenities for the price. Again Aubrey was just amazing, by far the best tour we recived out of the 4 we viewed today!

Cody Powell: We have lived at Piper for two years and the experience has been great! The rooms are spacious and the north side apartments have a great view of the KC skyline. The roof top pool also has one of the best views in the city! The property management team is very easy to work with and is always quick to respond even after hours via text. Unlike other apts in the area, this building has good bones and things work properly and feel safe and secure.Management is awesome. They are responsive to maintenance requests and resident needs, and always put on promotional events or free breakfasts or food trucks for their residents.

Melissa Klaassen: In my almost year there, I have only had negative interactions with the property manager, Tiffany. When you move in, they tell you that they do quarterly apartment checks, which is understandable. Then they will proceed to enter your apartment at least once a month even though COVID is still prevalent. The parking garage is awful since so many people choose to take up two spots every day, limiting the amount of useable spots. The basement parking is a joke; I wouldn't even park down there for free. The pool is small, so it quickly becomes too crowded with non-residents. The valet trash pickup is nice, except multiple residents just leave their trashcan outside of their doors at all time. The heating and cooling is a mess because of the windows, but this was slightly expected. When you do have an issue, management is slow to actually respond to you and then even slower to do anything about it. The apartments are pretty and the views are nice, but you can get much nicer places in downtown for a better price. I'll be moving to a location that is almost the same price, but is much higher quality.

Rebecca Schaefer: Piper Lofts has a good location in crossroads, and is quick to respond if you are trying to move into an apartment fast. We overall had a decent experience living there, but did hit some road bumps along the way.The amenities at Piper Lofts are nice, with a roof top and pool. The gym isn't very large, but is well-kept and also has a nice view of the city. The maintenance staff is friendly and quick to fix things.Our complaint regarding amenities was strict rules for the roof top, where you are allowed two guests at a time. We would of liked more flexibility to better enjoy these amenities, and felt communication was unprofessional at times regarding these rules.Upon moving out of the apartment, we never received our security deposit in the mail. For an unknown reason, the check bounced back and was sent to the treasurers office, but we never received notification that this had occurred. Piper Lofts recognized that this was frustrating and claimed to be working on fixing this for future residents.

Roaster's Block Apartments: what do users think?
Julia Sprouse: The best Management and Maintenance team ever. They are so helpful, passionate about their careers at Roaster’s Block and making the experience all the better. Ben, Brandon, Josh and Traci will go above and beyond and even get to know your pets. If you have a maintenance request someone will be there to fix it that day. They have a fabulous tea and espresso/latte bar with Messenger coffee beans. The apartment’s common areas are always clean and never crowded. The pool, gym, grills, patio, coffee bar, beautiful apartment units and event space and easy location to streetcar and highway are 10/10.
Brooke Dubin: I love living here. The units are beautiful and I always get compliments about the building when I have company over. It's so unique and there's cool history to the building which makes it different. Not to mention the staff is quick to care of things and makes you feel right at home. I've renewed my lease once and will be doing it again!

In my 7 years of renting, Roasters Block by far, has been the absolute best experience and it’s not even close. The staff is very friendly and takes time to get to know you, they genuinely care and want you to have a great experience. The units are obviously very nice, I really enjoy the coffee station, the convenience self check out for late night snacks, and the outdoor patio is an awesome vibe. The workout room is super nice as well. My favorite part is Ben and staff still strive to make the experience better and always seek feedback. I will miss living here but great experience.
Shannon Greene: The management/maintenance team at Roaster's Block is unbeatable. Ben, Josh, and Brandon especially!! They treat all residents with respect and respond to inquiries and concerns so quickly. They've made Roaster's Block feel like a home and really get to know their residents personally. I don't think we've ever had to wait over 24 hours for a maintenance request to be taken care of. Ben manages with such poise and is we've always felt taken care of by each one of these guys. We've been residents for 2 years now and don't plan on leaving any time soon, much thanks to these guys.
Julia Pohar: I have lived here since August of 2021 and have loved it. The management team is great - extremely helpful and responsive when needed. The apartments have high ceilings and are large in size. My apartment has beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows which bring in lots of natural light. The apartment was clean when I moved in, and Ben, the manager, was able to get all of the carpeting in the bedrooms replaced before move in, which was much appreciated.Location is incredible. You are close enough to all of the fun areas of downtown KC, without as much of the noise as other areas. The area is safe and comfortable, many people walk their dogs around the buildings.The amenities here are top notch. If you love coffee, this complex is a must. There is an espresso machine and there are always fresh pots of coffee and a variety of milks (dairy & non-dairy) and syrups for latte making. The pool is open in the summers, and the hot tub is open all year. There is also a gym that features a yoga area.10/10 would recommend living here!

Syd Hendin: Such a great place to live! All the amenities are so nice and the staff is incredible. If I needed anything fix the maintenance staff did it within 2-3 days after submitting the request! During the winter months, they even shoveled the sidewalks, pool area & more pathways for the residents. Quiet neighborhood yet a fun area, walking distance to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops & more. I would definitely recommend this building to anyone who is looking!

We love our spacious loft & location!We have looked around downtown at similar apartments and can’t find anything that is close to what we have for the amenities that are offered. The fantastic coffee bar, salt water pool, jacuzzi, gym & spacious social lounge with full kitchen are amazing! The outdoor space with two gas grills, multiple seating opportunities and two outdoor gas fire pits create a relaxing environment. The location is perfect to catch the Streetcar to Union Station or Crown Center and offers a short walk to the River Market area, Power & Light District & Cosentino’s Grocery Store.
Eric Minton: If you’re looking to live in downtown Kansas City then look no further! I absolutely feel at home at RBA. The staff are great, the amenities are great, and the people that live here are nice and personable. There are many great places for night life as well as cuisine all within walking distance.
Connie Barbosa: You can't beat this location if you are searching for downtown living! The apartments are really nice and offer a luxurious appeal but the easy highway access and ability to get to all the major highways is the biggest benefit for me. It may not be in the heart of downtown but it has all great elements of city living.
Joshua Willis: The maintenance crew is here is stellar! We had a small leak coming from our ceiling late at night. We called the emergency line provided by them, they were here in less than 10 minutes, and got the problem fixed asap. They're always attentive and super friendly.
Thomas Montagnino: I've spent the majority of my adult life in white glove NYC apartments, Roasters Block is far superior to any of them. My apartment is very large with modern appliances and while I'm sure I have neighbors I never hear them. The best part of the building is the staff, both the management and maintenance. I've had two service requests, I believe I may have had a combined 3 minute wait time between hitting enter and maintenance showing up. Keep up the fantastic work!
Morgan Robinett: I stayed in Roaster's Block for 1 1/2 years, and it was an exceptional place to live. The management and maintenance team were highly professional, prompt, friendly, and always went above and beyond to ensure an excellent resident experience. The free espresso machine, beautiful pool and patio area, and gorgeous interior lounge were added perks to our stay. In addition, the location is great - close to the River Market, restaurants, bars, and a few blocks from the street car. It truly was the best apartment that I ever lived in. Highly recommend!
Bethany Moody: The facility is beautiful and at such a great location downtown. The staff and management (Ben Barlow specifically) will truly make the entire process smooth, easy, and stress-free. He is genuine, compassionate, kind, and very hospitable. It is evident that the entire management is just as attentive to residents' needs and requests due to his leadership. As for the buildings, there are two to choose from. Everything is updated and looks really nice. Lots of natural light in certain units! The coffee bar is also to die for.
Chrissi: Since I have lived here I have enjoyed the downtown city life the apartment has to offer. As well as the many amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, coffee bar and gym. Not to leave out that the apartments are beautiful!
MaKayla Medlen: Wow! Where to start?! All the staff are so personable and professional. Josh and Brandon are your guys when it comes to any maintenance issues and they’re on it quick! You can tell Ben the property manager really cares about his team. The property itself, equally as amazing. Open concept spaces, vaulted ceilings, spectacular views of downtown Kansas City. I love the amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, free coffee/espresso bar, gym and yoga studio, private parking. Great location in walking distance to the River Market area and a quick Bird ride to PNL. All of the other residents are so kind and considerate of one another. I would 10 out of 10 recommend living here. I would definitely consider myself a proud member of the Roaster’s Block community.
Cecily Miniaci: This will be my 4th year living at Roasters Block and to put it simply, I love living here. I have lived in many different states and apartments, and this is by far my favorite apartment community. From the apartments & features, amenities, to the office and maintenance staff - Roaster Block has the best of the best. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure this is a wonderful place to live. I am so glad that I toured this place almost four years ago - I never want to leave! Thanks for making this a wonderful community!
Alexis Cook: I lived at roaster’s block for 4 and a half years and absolutely loved it! The amenities are spectacular, far better than most other properties I’ve seen at a similar price point. And I couldn’t say enough great things about the management! Since Maxus took over, the management and maintenance have been friendly, helpful, quick to respond to any issues or maintenance requests. It’s clear that they truly care about the property and the residents experience!
Alex Estorga: Viewed two different one bedrooms - the Americano and the Brasília but preferred the Americano with the wood flooring and minimal carpet versus carpet throughout in the Brasilia. Everything just feels more modern and open with the wood flooring. Newer appliances and spacious layouts. Definitely a top consideration for the downtown market!
