We did not receive several hundred dollars worth of merchandise in the package delivered and was told there was nothing they could do since the weight of the package matched the weight of the merchandise coming out of the warehouse.So incredibly disappointed being liable as a customer for theft prior to it being delivered to my door step.The lack of effort in helping me throughout this situation was so saddening. Just a quick “sorry” was all they had to offer before letting me know there was nothing they could do.I’m never one to write reviews but this is a situation I simply can’t get past.

Peter W: We used to love Nordstrom and their amazing merchandise/customer service. I recently learned a hard lesson on their core values via an experience we had making a return. After purchasing several formal wear items from their online store, I kept the pieces I needed for my tux and created an online return and shipped back the unneeded items via THEIR return label. I physically took the box to USPS and using Nordstrom's return label, i shipped the box fully trusting their return process. Needless to say, $1500 worth of merchandise has now shown "in transit" since early November 2022. We contacted Nordstroms and they declined to help us or process the return even though we used their return label. So essentially, we are out $1500 after fully trusting they would stand behind their return mailing process and any mishaps that happen once the package is handed off to USPS. I feel somewhat certain either an employee from Nordstrom or USPS stole the box and therefore it was never processed for return. All in all, we found out the hard way that Nordstrom customer service isn't actually all that great when it's truly needed for a situation like this. They are nice on the phone but when it comes down to what matters, we didn't get the refund and are out $1500. I would stick with finding the items on Amazon, if you can, because Amazon has stood behind their return process, and I have never had an issue with them "losing" a return.

Ambreen Villanova: I’m a big fan of DSW. I decided to go in to see if they have anything nice for the summer and picked up a pair of shoes I liked. My little one was with and she picked up a toy. We get to the register and the cashier greets us , she’s being super nice until I ask her for a plastic shopping bag. The cashier rang up the items and just stood there not bagging the items. I asked for a bag and she said we are going bagless. I was confused and said well maybe you should put up a sign so customers are aware. She eventually gives me a bag and says you have been warned for next time ! I almost burst out laughing ! I just rolled my eyes , said have a good day and went about my way. Just FYI everyone apparently DSW is going bagless.

Easton: I ordered a pair of shoes online that came scuffed up with no tissue in the shoes or box and dirty/worn on the bottom. I have ordered shoes from DSW dozens of times in the past and have never experienced this. I took them in to the DSW at Zona Rosa and was shocked at the lack of quality customer service. I explained to the employee at the register the state that the shoes were in when I received them and she called for a manager. I don't know if she thought my story was suspicious, but she never asked any questions or explained why she was calling for the manager. The manager came up and did not make eye contact with me, only said "this is how you received them?" while looking at the shoes and then told the employee to damage them out. There wasn't an apology offered by anyone for the state of the shoes, which is the very least they could have done.

They didn't know where or when the electronics person would be back. I tried to call the department with no one answering the phone for 30 minutes. I then tried to call guest services with similar results. I guess don't try to buy anything in the cases after 5:30!

Gail Sawrie: DSW has an extensive selection, especially of women's shoes. They are a bit more pricey than other bulk shoe stores, but they seem to have more variety.

Vanessa Meriwether: Can someone please explain to me why I was just chastised by the cashier for not wanting to give her my home address? Can we not just pay and leave? I visited this store to find a pair of shoes for an event that night. At checkout, the cashier asked if we found what we were looking for. I said no but I can make these work. She didn’t ask what I was looking for or offer to find what I wanted at another location. She just asked for my phone number, which I gave to her. Then she asked for my address. I explained that I was in a hurry and would rather just pay. I asked if there would be any additional discount for completing a profile. She gave a speech about the benefits of setting up a profile. Again, I asked to just check out and even thanked her for trying to help sign me up for coupons but I needed to get going. She was literally exasperated! She told me I was really missing out and so on. I just wanted a pair of shoes and they didn’t even have what I was looking for. At least just let me pay in peace for what scrounged up.

The pick up goes smoothly as do returns done curbside as well. I have had a few instances where shoes I ordered at the same time have been split into different orders and orders that stay"in process" for more than a week. Recently a notification arrived that one pair I ordered was ready for pickup and when I picked it up it wasn't the same pair that was on the notification and the paperwork didn't match either -it was for the other shoe in the same order. Otherwise my DSW curbside orders and pickups have gone very smoothly.Update: Indoor shopping has resumed and masks are optional. A big thumbs up to both employees working at DSW tonight. They both were very helpful trying to help us find what we were looking for. They were very welcoming and approachable too. A+ for DSW customer service!

It is a public health and safety issue for anyone who shops after dark I will not go there if I could be there after dark. I would think the City of Lenexa would have something to say about all the light poles in the lot that are NOT turned on. DSW should make a big deal to their landlord that they are missing business because the parking lot is pitch black. Not safe!

She said, “I’m not sure what you’re talking about, and she led me to the hand lotions? She then proceeded to act like she was facing the small hand lotions and just walked away!! As I was walking around the store getting my items I came there for, there were several teenagers being loud throughout the store and two middle school boys running around the store! Now do you think anyone of Target staff addressed these issues?!? Not a single one! Let’s make it a point to focus on the person that is actually doing shopping, but taking their time while doing it! Makes sense to me!? NOT! Talk about having your safety priorities backwards! I’m all about quality control if I’m I were the type of person to do that, but I’m not!! Let’s get it together TARGET and train your staff better!!

The remodel of the customer service desk was completed with a beautifully crafted "Exchanges and Returns" sign as you can see in this photo I took; however I was told today.... "we don't do exchanges; our policy has changed".... so after a million dollar remodel with a sign that includes your policy..... its now something different. Twighlight ZONE. Seriously.

After the 3rd or 4th time of going in to see that they just blatantly lied about their stock online, I've come to the conclusion that it's much easier to just go from the online store. Ridiculous!

Nameless Mannequin: Used to shop here all the time but recently the management has allowed the store to run straight into the gutter. Shelves look unorganized, none of the prices match what are rang up. I asked an employee what had happened and they said they follow management's "priority" for the day. Absolutely horrendous, Walmart looks 10x better than this store.

I asked the lady that was just standing up front checking out someone with some Gatorade and she informed me that she was the only one there. I know this wasn't the case as I saw other employees just standing around chatting. I have no desire to check myself out. I do not work there and then I had to wait 15 minutes for her to come over to say yes I am over 21 so I could purchase some alcohol.

Mya Ezzell: I just tried calling customer service twice and both times after no answer and about 20 rings it hung up on me! No customer service.
Allie Stella: I live right near this Target and have come quite a few times.No matter when I come whether it's early on a weekday, late, or a weekend there is always a huge line. There is one person sometimes no person actually at a check out ringing up people. You have to wait in a huge line and oftentimes check out your items.Most of my experiences though with staff have been pretty pleasant
Finn B: The people in the electronics department on 06/06/23 at around 3 were the most unhelpful and rude employees I’ve ever encountered at a target. They were teens that didn’t want to help and were just talking eating lunch in the electronic section. Myself and two other people were looking for other employees and one of the girls finally asked if we needed help only to press the call button. No one was coming so I asked her if she could press it again and she laughed with her friend and said they’ll be there. Once I was finally helped, the girl who came gave me what I needed as I stood at the checkout lane. She then proceeded to help someone else instead of check me out and I had to ask if I could take my product to the front because it was locked in a case and I didn’t want it to beep or anything. Overall this target is okay, but staff has never done anything above and beyond for the customer that me or anyone I know have witnessed or experienced. :( I normally don’t write these kinds of reviews but I was made very uncomfortable and embarrassed.

TAMMY M: PEOPLE SHARE THIS! Supposedly this Target throws away all return pre-packaged sealed food. That means that if you return a box of cereal, sealed oreo cookies, canned goods, cake mix... it gets TRASHED.I returned some pre packed SEALED cake mix, marshmallows and other baking items that I knew that I would not get around to making or using and the lady at the Guest Services counter decided to pretty much shame me in front of other guests by telling me that food items that I was returning would be thrown away. I was like, these are unopened boxes of cake mix and cereal! I dont know any other stores that throw items like this away. I even asked a local grocery store right down the street from Target if they did that and they said NO. They used to during COVID, but not anymore. I mean if that is the case, cant Target donate the items to a local food pantry? I even asked that and she said NO, that there are too many risks doing that. Well, dont food pantries take risks every single day by taking food donations from food drives and people cleaning out their pantries or from people who just want to help out? That is where the food comes from on most occasions, so why not give the returned food items to them?I was there on December 22 at around 7pm. Yes the store was bombarded because we just had 2 days of bad weather, Christmas was right around the corner and there were 100's of people waiting in cars to pickup orders. I get that it was busy, but this woman at the "Guests Services" counter was less than pleasant. She was RUDE beyond words and shouldnt be working Guest Services if she doesnt want to be pleasant and helpful. I am not saying that she should lose her job, I am just saying that she needs to be in a position where she isnt speaking to or helping people as she obviously doesnt like to.
