Traci Solomon: Had seen some designer sunglasses while traveling overseas but didn’t purchase. Decided to pop into Sunglass Hut on the Plaza in KC to see what they had to offer and to see what style & frame shape looked best on my face. One of the store associates, Craig, helped me tremendously. I felt he was honest and even stepped outside with me to try 2 pairs out in the sunlight. He didn’t pressure me whatsoever to purchase anything but encouraged me to take my time browsing & trying pairs on. He was very patient while I sent pics of my favorites to my daughter (the fashionista) so I could get her opinion as well. In the end, I purchased a pair of sunglasses that were a blend of butterfly/cat eye that I hadn’t really seen anywhere else. They were very flattering, stylish & offered UV protection. I also interacted with some of the other associates who were so friendly and down to earth. I would go back to this store even though there are others closer to me!

The eye exam I received was very thorough and in a very nice facility. The optometrist was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to discuss some aspects of my eye health. natalee albertson: I am unfortunately very unhappy with the service I have received from this location. I made an appt a month ago and made them very aware that I was leaving the country for 11 days. They would not let me order contacts only the trial pair and I once again let them know how long I was going to be gone for and was assured that it would be okay. Well my trial pair just came in the store this week and only received 5 pair. The staff at this store will not do one thing to assist me in this situation so now I have to go out of the country for 11 days with only 5 pair of daily contacts. Warby parker should have never added contact service if they could not meet the needs of their customers.
KCFlyer2: After going on Medicare and losing vision insurance, I was looking for a more affordable solution. I went to the Plaza store for an eye exam, which was the most thorough exam I've ever had. And I got my glasses and the prescription was perfect. I have a bit of a complicated prescription, but my glasses, lenses and exam were less than half of what I could get from my old optometrist. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Warby Parker.

Chris Bryant: They claim to have reasonably priced glasses. That’s their schtik. I purchased a pair of reading glasses for $145 and they were easily scratched (easier than a cheap pair I own). They were unwilling to replace the lenses at a reasonable rate. As far as I can see, their mission is a farce.

ET: I enjoy visiting this store, even though it’s out of my price range. They are always really friendly, treating everyone the same. They seem to love showing you around and sharing with you the history of the company. I learned about their trench coat and how they it’s design was made for US soldiers in WW1 to keep them warm and dry. Very fascinating. They have beautiful bags and clothing.
