Adriana Miranda: I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and I am very disappointed on the service I received today.I had a return, it had been a couple weeks over the 30 day new policy and the associate told me that because of the time the items were not returnable, I asked to speak to a manager, when she showed up, (Chika is her name), she did not introduced herself and simply said "The items are not returnable because is been more than 30 days", she turned around and offer help to somebody else and left me there, didn't look at me or wait for a response, like I was invisible, I had to go around where she was to ask for the store manager's name, she said the name is "bolgena" I asked her to please write down for me, she said "We are not allowed to do that", I grabbed a piece of paper and asked her to spell the name for me, she said "The name is bolgena". and turned around to help the other customer, I was about to loose it so I left and went to another counter to get the store manager's name. Julie at the jewelry counter was amazing, she could tell I was upset and offer to help, she stated they can do a one time exception on the new policy and she did the return for me. Thank you Julie!I want to say, the main reason why I am so upset is not because I could not return the items, it is because how I was treated by CHIKA. She should not be in a manager position if she is unable to show respect for customers, needles to say, to provide customer service.
Jessica Collins: Been going to this Macy's since it opened in 1979 and so happy it is still open! I miss the old indoor Mall days but when I visit this Macy's it brings back great memories! Parking is way sufficient, and the clerks I interacted with were very helpful and friendly! I will continue to hang out at this Macy's, it is convenient and usually has what I am looking for!

They also had lots of sale items marked down quite a bit. They have very nice products and it was well laid out. They still have furniture and mattress upstairs as well. Nice to try the purple mattress in person.

Still very clean, but the bare shelves and displays, low selection in anything but the junior department (WHY?). I will definitely be contacting someone higher to have a conversation about this, since it seems not to be the first issue someone has had at this location, and I’m guessing it is the same person. We deserve respect and a better customer service employees!

I recently ordered online 4 big kids jackets that cost around $115 each . On the website beware that if you order a size and you return it to the website it will take 3 weeks from the time they receive your return to exchange or get a refund. This is not stated on their website . It does state you can take it into a North face store to exchange, but if you live 80 miles from the closest store that is pointless. I love product , hate the process and service. There are other competitor's out there. I guess it is time to move on . Now I wait 3 weeks for a refund of $400.00.. WOW ..

I walked in and was no where near greeted the same way the other lady was, who was dressed in heels and a nicer outfit. I was asking for help and was brushed off multiple times. Steven McAllister: Experience left a lot to be desired. Tried to return an item purchased a few days ago and wasn't able to. Dozens of other retailers can look up receipts based on 1) your account or 2) the card you paid with. They couldn't do either. Receipt wasn't emailed or text to me when the purchase was made. I'll stick to online ordering going forward.

Marilyn Solsky: This is the second time I have had a bad experience with a return at this store. The first time was several years ago; I had not worn the item, but there was a powder transfer from trying it on and the sales clerk would not accept the item for return. I took it to the Overland Park store and returned it without a problem.Today I had a horrible experience in the store. There were only a few people in the store, but the people ahead of me had a huge order. The clerk, who was new, was doing his absolute best. He deferred a couple of time to his store manager who was only aligning shoes on a shelf; one time he asked her if an employee who was no longer working there could still use her employee discount. The manager came over, engaged the person in conversation, as if she were an old friend, saw that I was waiting and went back to rearranging shoes. The second time she came over I asked if she could help me, but she waited long enough that the kind clerk was finally able to help me. I was incensed by her lack of customer service and after thinking about it, decided I would return the item right then. Because I called her out on her poor customer service she said I had disrespected her, she refused to take back the item and said she would call security. I am not sure she was the one who was disrespected. I admire H and M for trying to recycle clothing, but not enough to tolerate poor customer service or nonresponsive managers.
Tasanee Dumas: will not be coming here & I am a plaza resident.Was talked down by a cashier & manager (associate number:556647) tonight after paying $100 cash.. shopping with my boyfriend.I got some pink shoes for my birthday dinner, we had our dog with us so I had to help my boyfriend with his wallet so I was the main one in this transaction handling money.I gave him the $100 bill with a $38.83 total, he gives me back $21. He then calls the manager to open the drawer and says “wrong change.” , she walks away. (i do not understand why she did not handle the transaction after this point as a retail manager).After she walks away, he tries giving me back $40 and a $1 bill is all I had after he took the $20 from me. I told him, no this is incorrect.My boyfriend steps in, mind you he is deaf so sound is not apparent to him. Tells him he doesnt trust him with the money, please get the manager.The manager steps in and goes “are we yelling?.” I go “no one is yelling.”, her response “please don’t yell at my sales associates.” , mind you- no one was yelling & my boyfriend is deaf holding a dog.I then explain to her what happened, she interrupted me to say “let me talk to my sales associate first.” which then that associate tried to say he gave me the money ($61 which I never got) and then tries to play it like we were trying to get more money when we never got the correct change to begin with.We left with the correct change and a sad place it my heart because I will no longer be shopping here as a plaza resident.I would give 0 stars if I could, this used to be the best place to shop since I was younger. Now it’s gone down hill, need new managers who assist & employees who know how to count accurately + have customer service.

Peter W: We used to love Nordstrom and their amazing merchandise/customer service. I recently learned a hard lesson on their core values via an experience we had making a return. After purchasing several formal wear items from their online store, I kept the pieces I needed for my tux and created an online return and shipped back the unneeded items via THEIR return label. I physically took the box to USPS and using Nordstrom's return label, i shipped the box fully trusting their return process. Needless to say, $1500 worth of merchandise has now shown "in transit" since early November 2022. We contacted Nordstroms and they declined to help us or process the return even though we used their return label. So essentially, we are out $1500 after fully trusting they would stand behind their return mailing process and any mishaps that happen once the package is handed off to USPS. I feel somewhat certain either an employee from Nordstrom or USPS stole the box and therefore it was never processed for return. All in all, we found out the hard way that Nordstrom customer service isn't actually all that great when it's truly needed for a situation like this. They are nice on the phone but when it comes down to what matters, we didn't get the refund and are out $1500. I would stick with finding the items on Amazon, if you can, because Amazon has stood behind their return process, and I have never had an issue with them "losing" a return.

The entire time we were there the lady that was helping us was giving me some not so nice looks. We had called another location to see if we could return it there and they said that it would be no problem to return it the way it is.

Slow Sweeper: After 25 years I canceled my jcpenny card and say goodbye. I liked penny's because they have sizes and styles different from other places. I have tried to exchange or get refund on 2 pants I purchased in wrong size, and they say there is nothing they can do because of the way the were rung up at the register. I didn't go Karen I just said ok and left. I went to another location, was going to exchange but couldn't. These are regular stock dress pants, not clearance or no longer stocked items. I have had several small issues over the year, but not like this. So I won't go back. Maybe you will have better results.

They don’t have a huge selection for him, but it’s bigger than most stores in the same price range. He was able to find some shorts and swimming trunks that he liked and that fit him.

Michael Schilling: Everyone in Kansas City is so nice, but the employees here are extremely rude. My wife, kids and I came here for a mini vacation and went shopping during our down time. When my wife needed another size dress, the dressing room attendant told us that they don’t do that there and we can get it ourselves. We brushed it off as we thought maybe she was just having a bad day. And then when leaving, holding a pile of things we were going to buy, a different employee told us we needed to walk back down to get the dress that didn’t fit, so they wouldn’t have to. They were so rude and sarcastic for absolutely no reason and, last I checked, h&m isn’t paying us to do their job. Needless to say, we dropped the rest of the pile too and walked out. Terrible customer service. Do better, H&M.

LInda Hancock: I live 20 miles away and had to make extra trips to straighten out mistakes. First time it rang up full price even thought it was on sale. Second time clerk scanned the same item twice so when I tried to return the item that wasn’t scanned, there wasn’t a record of it.
D: I have shopped here off and on for years. Today's experience was my worst. The quality of customer service changed the moment I declined the application process for a JCP card. When I asked the associate at the end if my rewards account information would be entered, she informed me that the purchase has already been made and that I the customer should have volunteered my phone number during the transaction. They proceeded to tell me I can call a 1800 number that she couldn't provide me to retrieve my reward points. This has not been a standard practice. Typically, an associate will ask if I have a rewards account. Customer service shouldn't dwindle just because a customer refuses to apply for a credit card.
