Susan Brogan: Worst customer service! Don't live in town anymore and wanted to shop at Torrid which is over 2 hours away from my current city. Walked in knowing I was planning on purchasing a lot. Immediately when I walked in there was no greeting. Walked around the store for a long time carrying clothes. Not one time was I asked if I wanted to start a dressing room. Finally asked for one to try on clothes! While in the dressing room no one ever came in to see how I was doing and I had to go get different sizes. Finally decided what I wanted to purchase and made it up to the cash register and that is when I was actually acknowledged. From what I could tell, the boss was more interested in purchasing clothes for herself because she had a whole bunch rung up for her which had to be deleted so my clothes could be purchased!! Please train your staff what it's like to be in customer service!!

Teresa Vohsen: Do you wish you could find clothing your size in store and not told to "order the tall/petite size online and we can ship it to you!"? Same! Now I know where I can find my tall pants in store all the time. The selection of styles and colors is fantastic and everything fits like a dream. From my new skinny jeans to a button up top that closes across my chest, I'm constantly thrilled with these clothes.

Emily Vigoren: Such great ladies at this location but I had to take a star away for selection. Could not find a size 2 in any of the basic tees as well as many other things I wanted. Of course the basic response is "that's our most popular size"....ok so order more lol.
Jesika Croom: Cute clothes but prices are a bit high. Its only mid July and they only had 2 small racks of swimwear. Do love their bra selection though.

Valerie Johnson: The sales team was very helpful. They were pleasant. They assisted with trying to get the items you were looking to purchase. They expressed what the store had to offer as far as sales, online purchases and delivery of any item shipped from the store.
Karen Howard: It was very nice, friendly staff. Easy to getto get too. The staff were helping by putting clothes in dressing room for me, which is very helpful. As I handicap and using a cane. The woman that rang me up, is always very nice, has a great smile, her personally is very cheerful.Some of designs of tops (length of the tops), which is disappointing (designers need to get better).Worth the stop in, you are sure to find.
Danielle Torgersen: Dana was wonderful. I must have tried on 20 bras with 20 requests to leave with 0 bras. This isn’t a Lane Bryant issue, but it just so happened every bra I liked didn’t have my exact size. Overall I had a good experience, though, and Dana was more than helpful.

She was working the room-grabbing one buyer one thing, telling the next how awesome she looked in an outfit, and telling another she has a shirt that would look great on her and that she would bring it to the dressing room . All of the girls working today were wonderful honestly but Autumn was such a ray of sunshine I felt that I had to write this review. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. She is going to do great things in life.

MARLA GIBSON: I walked in and there were 3 associates. One associate was assisting customers while the other 2 sat and talked to each other. I was in the store for 10-15 minutes an no one bothered to say hello or ask if I required assistance. Customer service is a big factor when I shop and I was less than impressed with this location.

Cassie Reid: Let me start with I love the Torrid brand, I have shopped here almost exclusively for ~7 years. However, this store changes everything about why I love Torrid, which is usually the customer service. I am new to the area and have given this store 2 chances. Both times the associates pay little to no attention to customers, discuss private matter infront of customers and every transaction has had errors. Very disappointed in this physical store.

However, the sales reps here are apparently so desperate to sign people up for their Credit card that they will outright lie to customers to get them to sign up.My partner tried to pay with a gift card, and was actively told not to, with TWO sales reps telling her she could use that gift card to pay the credit card, and encouraged her to buy the card. Despite the fact that this sounded obviously incorrect, we were assured this was true. Unsurprisingly, we were correct to be skeptical. I cannot and will not recommend a business that so blatantly lies to their customers for money. You are better off finding a more ethical store.

Aimee Anderson: I shop at Lane Bryant all the time at many locations around KC. This location happens to be the closest to me. I came in the store and the 2 ladies working didn't greet me and continued on with there personal conversation behind the cash register. They didn't tell me the deals of the day, they literally said absolutely nothing to me. I mean not one wordI decided because of this I wouldn't purchase anything. They didn't even say bye when I left or offer any assistance. I am really disappointed because I've never had this type of treatment before at this location or any location around the KC area. It was around 11:30am on March 31, 2023.

She was able to navigate between me and a few other customers all while maintaining her focus on each of us. There was a vast variety of items including plenty of the pajama sets which were the hot item of the day.

We spent all day in a mall looking for something and we're greatly dissatisfied with our options. All the department stores and boutique shops just didn't have anything entertaining. And Victoria's secret was way too cliche and overpriced for the mass produced low quality garments. Refusing to give up. I searched Google for lingerie shops and Sassy's appeared. I was skeptical about it but I'm glad we came here.This quaint little shop is hiding in a little strip mall, but it's full of character and colors on the inside. It has several dressing rooms and requires all garments be tested as they cannot be returned.Donna is very engaged, entertaining and walks you through selecting just the perfect outfit for your lady. She has several cute and entertaining rules of what you can and can't do.

I've been struggling to find clothes I could be confident in, and I was feeling down about myself. Not after I strolled into Torrid. DEF my jam! Their bras are THE thing that will build you back up, girl! Heck Victoria... the items I purchased were very flattering, and well made. I love that they carry Tall IN STORE. as someone who's 6 foot tall, that's music to my ears!

Looks like the CEO and Liz Old Munoz understood that us plus sizers are tired of cold shoulders. They still have plenty of Disney and skull and roses unfortunately.

four eyed nerd: Went last night with my roommate because she needed new bras and we got 0 help. No one greeted us when we walked in, no one asked if we needed help, multiple times roommate said she couldn't find a color in her size and no one offered to look in the back or order it online, no one told us about the sale that was going on till we got to the check out and was finishing up, and no one offered to get her a fitting room when she had a stack of hangers in her hands.There were multiple times when we would walk past the two workers and only once did they ask if we were finding everything ok. One time I made eye contact with one of them and she ran off to fiddle with a clothing rack. When we walked in there was two other girls in the store and they were getting all the customer service, being checked on ect. And when they checked out both workers were doing it instead of one working the floor since it was 7:30 and not a lot of people in the store. They even hanged out behind the counter and chatted with each other and a third person that was either another employee on their day off or a fiend of theirs. What was interesting was two black/brown women walked in a while after us and were ignored till they left but when a white lady and her friend/partner walked in they were greeted. I've been to the store by myself recently and unless someone who I used to work with is there I do not get any kind of customer service. (My roommate and I are black so maybe they don't care to help black customers anymore)The fitting rooms were a mess and the signs on the doors were falling off. It's honestly surprising that corp hadn't done anything to get some things in the store fixed because I remember when I worked there I would get written up if there was a speck of dust on the shelves.I will probably personally only shop online or if I'm in the area of one of the other stores. The quality of the customer service here had dropped dramatically in recent years which is a shame since it used to be the best in the Kansas/Missouri area.

She greeted me as I walked in and informed me of the current discounts and deals, and asked if I already had a Torrid Credit Card or if I would like to apply for one. After shopping around a bit my arms were full, she offered to take my items and set up a dressing room for me with my name on the door. I saw a bra that I liked but it wasn’t my size, and though she told me it was the last of its kind she asked if I’d like her to find me the matching panty in my size and put it in my dressing room. She wasn’t overly helpful though, she didn’t come back and ask if I needed help every 5 minutes and I appreciate that.😅The store was tidy and well organized. Checkout was easy and the other woman at the register folded and bagged my items very neatly.Definitely will be returning to this location.CJ deserves a raise for her excellent attitude and customer service.🖤

Jayne Just: I came in desperately looking for a bra for an upcoming event. I was very surprised to learn that there was a certified fitter on the premises. I carry my measurements with me, but that's no guarantee of finding clothing that fits. The staff was very diligent, and after several different tries, I came out of the fitting room with a properly fitted bra for the dress I needed. The staff helped me order the same item in a different color online for home delivery. I received a lot of time consuming individualized attention, even though the store was full of other equally needy customers on a very busy weekend. At check out the manager reminded me that my purchase was eligible for BOGO half off so per item I was paying less than the going rate of $45. I also want to say that the staff managed to keep the racks neat and the floor clear of fallen product, and each dressing room had it's own fan. The latter is really important when women are trying on clothing and actually influences the decision to make a purchase. I'll be back and highly recommend this location.

MARLA GIBSON: I was less than impressed with the customer I received, or rather the lack ofcustomer service I received. There were two employees and one client at the register (located in the back of the store). One employee was cashier the other employee was standing behind the cash wrap area talking to the cashier and the client . At this point I have been in the store 2 to 3 minutes and no one has said hello or asked me if I required assistance. I continued looking at merchandise for another few minutes and still no one bothered to say a word to me. As a customer and a former retail employee this is not ok! Clients should feel welcomed and comfortable while shopping in your store, not feel ignored and irrelevant. I will not shop at this location again
