Tamara Smith-Hinchey: went to the Kansas City Store at Country Club Plaza with my biracial daughter. The staff was very disrespectful and staring at her, and following her through the store. They were whispering and looking at her with disgust. My daughter brought it to my attention and I looked up at the ladies. They both stared at me rudely and I looked back with a questioning look. They again looked at my 21 year old with disdain. I loudly stated. “ I guess they do not need our money in here Olivia!” I said this while looking straight at them. We walked to the door and as we were exiting someone asked if they could help us. I replied, “no”. This happened today at approximately 125pm to 130pm. It is very unfortunate to experience this kind of micro-aggression and to be made to feel less than, in one of my most favorite stores that I enjoy. Unfortunately, I was not able to try on the dresses I was eyeing because of racism.Horrible, disappointing experience.

Zeal Zillner: They are very conservative.. 25 yrs ago I absolutely loved their clothing... I did a lot of catalog ordering back then so this the first time I ever went into their store...wasn't impressed at... I wanted something in a loafer and They had nothing... How weird is that. They had some shorts and pants out front of the cash register and I couldn't tell if they were women's or men's clothing... What does that say.. And the dark colored ladies pants that were in the women's section looked men's... Ulgy looking... I love their leather loafers without the tassel.. I get it.. Its summer time...but still they didn't even have summer loafers... This store has changed a lot from back in the day when I ordered from their catalog... I wasn't impressed with one thing I saw in there.. Which is sad because I use to absolutely love their clothes...not so much now😭

Staci Hopkins: I had the same experience that Mickey L had. I went in there on Mothers Day 2017. Not one person said anything to me. The lady that choose to not say anything greeted the woman that came in after me. This irritates me because I work in the plaza part time at Sur La Table and I make sure I greet everyone even if I'm with someone. Saying "Hi" goes a long way. I dont like to go places I'm not wanted. HUGE coaching opportunity.

Adriana Miranda: I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and I am very disappointed on the service I received today.I had a return, it had been a couple weeks over the 30 day new policy and the associate told me that because of the time the items were not returnable, I asked to speak to a manager, when she showed up, (Chika is her name), she did not introduced herself and simply said "The items are not returnable because is been more than 30 days", she turned around and offer help to somebody else and left me there, didn't look at me or wait for a response, like I was invisible, I had to go around where she was to ask for the store manager's name, she said the name is "bolgena" I asked her to please write down for me, she said "We are not allowed to do that", I grabbed a piece of paper and asked her to spell the name for me, she said "The name is bolgena". and turned around to help the other customer, I was about to loose it so I left and went to another counter to get the store manager's name. Julie at the jewelry counter was amazing, she could tell I was upset and offer to help, she stated they can do a one time exception on the new policy and she did the return for me. Thank you Julie!I want to say, the main reason why I am so upset is not because I could not return the items, it is because how I was treated by CHIKA. She should not be in a manager position if she is unable to show respect for customers, needles to say, to provide customer service.
Jessica Collins: Been going to this Macy's since it opened in 1979 and so happy it is still open! I miss the old indoor Mall days but when I visit this Macy's it brings back great memories! Parking is way sufficient, and the clerks I interacted with were very helpful and friendly! I will continue to hang out at this Macy's, it is convenient and usually has what I am looking for!

Both times, the store was very clean and organized.Unfortunately, they are not properly staffed at times. Made a special trip on 4/30 to get a Fossil watch band resized and nobody could help me. And yes, I bought it from Macy's.

Leah Lambart: The store is still pretty nice if a little outdated. We stopped on a Saturday evening and it was almost empty. They had all kinds of internet returns that were marked down. They also had lots of sale items marked down quite a bit. They have very nice products and it was well laid out. They still have furniture and mattress upstairs as well. Nice to try the purple mattress in person.
Shannon Meyer: This store used to be awesome, now it's just another dying department store. The floor inventory is less than half of what it used to be. Still very clean, but the bare shelves and displays, low selection in anything but the junior department (WHY?). The older shoppers like myself, that have been diehard Macy's patrons for 40+ years have little selection to choose from.

I was helped a month or so ago by Memory and I meant to share my experience then. I was again reminded of how awesome Memory was as I witnessed her go over and beyond for another customer as I was waiting in line. I’ve always had great customer service at this Dillards in Zona Rosa. I just wanted to give her a shout out so she knows her efforts are appreciated. Oh and give that Lady a raise.

She first helped me a year ago with finding a great suit for an event, where she was enthusiastic, intelligent with her recommendations, and was so genuine that I left in a better mood.As I finished holiday shopping one year later (now), she helped me check out my items. She immediately remembered me and the conversations we had a year prior. She shows true kindness and compassion, and is a great employee that I am happy to return to.

Teal Hoover (Remmy): I went to this location with a friend to return a bra she had bought but did not fit, they told her that she could not return it even though she had the tags and the receipt in the bad with the item and she had only tried it on once in there store. The entire time we were there the lady that was helping us was giving me some not so nice looks. We had called another location to see if we could return it there and they said that it would be no problem to return it the way it is.
Selene Allison: Went to go return a bra because i didn't like how it felt. And they told me they couldn't return it due to sanitary reasons and the tags weren't on it. But the tags recipient and bra were all in the bag. And they let me try it on in the dressing room. Along with other ones. Which the reason I wanted to return it is because of the fact that I grabbed the wrong one that day.
Amanda Gazaway: I kept telling my dad, hey can you get me and Mom some perfume like you got us last year for Christmas? He said he didn't know what I was talking about, because Mom was the one who picked them out and wrapped them from him... Lol so we decided to go shop for Christmas gifts for ourselves, from him.. I found mines ! Fun day. I love how this perfume looks, so cute and little different ones. But can't use them till I unwrap it on Christmas ❄️

Carmen Kerr: Here visiting from Bakersfield, Ca. I saw my mother today at a skilled nursing facility in North Kansas City. I decided to stop at Dillard's in Zona Rosa. Looking for some shoes, I noticed three sales clerks in the shoe depart while in the store. I thought 1 out of 3 would have asked me if I needed assistance. So I waited for 20 mins, still no service. Finally, I asked for a store manager Jeff Russell. The only thing he did was apologize. Can you imagine how this makes me feel? Dillards at ZR!!!! like I wasn't good enough to ask if I needed service. Being a VIP credit card holder!!!. I will being emailing corporate about this matter. Dillard's in Zona Rosa you missed a $425.00 sale!!! Thank you Overland Park Dillards for you hospitality!!!!!! Your service was on point!!!!!

The deals are extraordinary especially considering the Express 💸 that I earn! I have purchased a $95 dress for $5.25.

I didn’t like the treatment at all when another lady came in with heels on she was greeted and treated differently. I was wearing a casual outfit with tennis shoes and i never imagined my clothes would make a difference. Horrible service

Dan Neill: Enjoy going to this Anthropologie compared to the others around the KC area. Clothing choices they have are better fit for the younger adult crowd and the staff are excited about all their clothing. Always seem to find a nice gift while I'm there.

The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, and they helped me find the right size and color for me. They also offered to tailor and press my clothes for free, which was a nice bonus. Men's Wearhouse has a huge selection of men's clothing for any occasion, and their clearance section is a hidden gem. I highly recommend Men's Wearhouse in Zona Rosa for anyone who wants to look sharp and save money!

cal lec: Joe was great! He listened, and managed to snag things right off the shelf for an interview I have in just a few days. People complaining about the wait time: they are trying. Be patient and wait to be seen, it's worth it! Remember, when you shop here, half of the cost of the clothing is the benefit of having someone else make the decisions for you.

I even forgot a few cufflink sets and Steve and team at Zona Rosa went above and beyond to ensure that my bridal party members would be taken care of if charged late fees. He even provided us additional cufflink and stud sets to make sure that all our wedding party looked uniform and handsome on our special day! 10/10 recommend working with the team at Zona Rosa for any rental or purchasing needs.

Inhale Exhale: Steve gave us the absolute worst experience you could possibly have. I felt immediately he was upset and trash talking customers. He spoke of wanting to “slap” mothers he’s worked with, and spoke even further and more inappropriately of my groomsmen. Any question we asked was answered very rudely and I would say he came off angry and very hostile. I felt extremely uncomfortable when talking to him for less than 10 minutes. Because of Steve we will not ever be back. However, the other staff, for example David, was fantastic and I feel bad that they have to deal with someone so negative.

Amber Pittman: I always park in the garage and enter through Nordstroms.While I'm zooming to the Nordstrom coffee shop, I check out all the designer goods along the way.
Helen Novak: After groceries and utilities rising prices. No way could afford to purchase a thing.
Laken Beaty: Store was nice, tidy, clean, and organized. Staff was kind of scarce but helpful once you found someone.
Peter W: We used to love Nordstrom and their amazing merchandise/customer service. I recently learned a hard lesson on their core values via an experience we had making a return. After purchasing several formal wear items from their online store, I kept the pieces I needed for my tux and created an online return and shipped back the unneeded items via THEIR return label. I physically took the box to USPS and using Nordstrom's return label, i shipped the box fully trusting their return process. Needless to say, $1500 worth of merchandise has now shown "in transit" since early November 2022. We contacted Nordstroms and they declined to help us or process the return even though we used their return label. So essentially, we are out $1500 after fully trusting they would stand behind their return mailing process and any mishaps that happen once the package is handed off to USPS. I feel somewhat certain either an employee from Nordstrom or USPS stole the box and therefore it was never processed for return. All in all, we found out the hard way that Nordstrom customer service isn't actually all that great when it's truly needed for a situation like this. They are nice on the phone but when it comes down to what matters, we didn't get the refund and are out $1500. I would stick with finding the items on Amazon, if you can, because Amazon has stood behind their return process, and I have never had an issue with them "losing" a return.

Jeffrey Parrish: This is an upscale casual clothing store. It is rather new or looks it at least. The store is well laid out with solid nautical theming and a good variety of nice casual clothing. The staff was friendly, helpful, professional and personal.To be sure, everything here has a significantly higher cost than you will find at an ordinary clothing store, but they don't offer ordinary clothing.Sometimes it is worthwhile to pay for quality.

Anthony Haug: This store is fantastic, I've been here a few times and am always shocked when the really nice manager with the glasses remembers me and my husband. They always offer us bottled water and help us find any sizes needed. They are also super polite and knowledgeable about the brand and what's going on. I've only had 1 issue with something that I ordered and it came in and was tight when it shouldn't have been. They quickly resolved it and there was no fuss. I love this store.
Brandon Hopson: This is a great store. The people that work here are always there to help you if you need it. The quality of the clothing is definitely worth the price. The only problem I have is that it is kinda small and they might not always have the clothes you want, but they are always able to order it online and have it to your house with 2-day shipping for free. Other than that this place is great.

Rachel Pesce: I didn’t realize this store closed at 7. I was shopping last minute before leaving for my vacation tomorrow morning. Aiden was super helpful and told me I could still browse even though they closed. I only took a couple more minutes to find my boyfriend a pair of shorts and didn’t feel pressured at all. Thank you!

The tall, light skin guy just seems to be standing around and not contributing to work whatsoever. I was eventually helped by another female associate. I went to the store on Sunday, and they couldn’t accept the shirt because I didn’t have the tag… (the girl in the store try to make me exchange that one for a new one, but changed her mind later because the shirt was “stained”, like who cares? if it was already with the threads hanging) I understand the tag part, but you guys also need to take care the quality of your product, I have clothes from cheaper stores, that will last more than that shirt.
