schweerfamily: I am a 47 year olf mom of 3 and recently lost over 100 lbs. My breasts changed dramatically. They were still large, but they looked like sad little deflated balloons sitting inside my bras and i couldnt find a solution despite trying on dozens at so many different store. Thankfully a great friend took me to Birdies and I will be a customer for life. With 5 mins they had me in a bar that worked PERFECTLY. I was preparing for a date night with my hubby and had a super low cut dress I wanted to wear. They found me the perfect bra! By the time we left i had 3 newbras plus other goodies and couldnt have been happier. Do youraelf a favor and just go!! You wont be disappointed!!
Mackenzie Morrison: Do you want to feel special? Do you want to feel beautiful? Sexy? Like nothing can stop you? Then go to Birdies. Hands down amazing customer service, incredible luxury pieces, and free self confidence. Size inclusive! As a L/XL person that’s usually the last size a store might carry and somehow they still don’t feel true to size and feel small. Not at Birdies. That’s middle range of their sizes and a Large fits a Large. It’s amazing how such a small footprint can house such a big change for someone. You will leave with more than just well made unique lingerie, you will leave with a greater sense of worth, a connection to a community you didn’t know you needed, and a craving to come back and experience it again. Stop in for something special and realize you deserve to feel this way year round.

Moreover, everything I've ever purchased at Birdies has stood the test of time, fashion, and quality. Being in the shop trying on absolutely stunning garments makes me feel like a supermodel exhibiting haute couture. Every penny is well spent is a worthy investment. Brian Marsh: Guys, if you need help finding something entertaining for your lady, you definitely need to consider Sassy's Lingerie. We spent all day in a mall looking for something and we're greatly dissatisfied with our options. All the department stores and boutique shops just didn't have anything entertaining. And Victoria's secret was way too cliche and overpriced for the mass produced low quality garments. Refusing to give up. I searched Google for lingerie shops and Sassy's appeared. I was skeptical about it but I'm glad we came here.This quaint little shop is hiding in a little strip mall, but it's full of character and colors on the inside. It has several dressing rooms and requires all garments be tested as they cannot be returned.Donna is very engaged, entertaining and walks you through selecting just the perfect outfit for your lady. She has several cute and entertaining rules of what you can and can't do.

I chatted and was told I had to again package it all back up and ship it back and wait for the items to arrive for my replacements or a refund. I have had enough! I will never buy from Soma again. The declining quality of their products and this repeated process of incorrect items being sent is too much!

Cyndy Detlefson: Visited Soma on Black Friday and it was a wonderful experience. Janelle a sales associate was incredibly patient and so helpful as I tried on countless bras. She was able to navigate between me and a few other customers all while maintaining her focus on each of us. There was a vast variety of items including plenty of the pajama sets which were the hot item of the day.

The quality is great (have had it since February and it washes/dries without issue at home) and feels like butter to put on. Would love to see a longer length version, but the black bamboo robe I bought is super versatile, comfortable, and packs well for travel (a luxury!). The owner was very helpful in-store and even asked feedback on some of the things I tried on for fit. Love supporting a business that supports our community.

You get what you pay for and I never leave that place with anything but the feeling of graciousness.(A good friend of mine passed from cancer last year - she was also a good friend to the owner and other folks associated with the company. She had modeled for them and still shines on their website/branding. They shut down their store in honor of her during her funeral and plastered their windows with her photos. If that is not the epitome of good, I don't know what is).They have backyard music events. I have yet to join in on these but excited to attend when the weather warms up!!Visit their shop (or website)!! You will NOT be disappointed.I also live in their robes. Get one. Do it. There was a bit of a hiccup in my order where an item was out of stock, but they were so great at communicating with me, and got it all sorted out. I have zero complaints. MADI Apparel fit both objectives perfectly.On the former objective, as soon as MADI released their new bed sheets, recently, we knew we had to try them (especially after the quality that we had observed in their apparel). I don’t usually get excited by things like bed sheets, but they are AMAZING! I literally didn’t realize sheets could be this soft. As soon as we experienced a couple of nights on the first set of sheets, we ordered a second set! Now we’re talking about adding a third set to keep a solid rotation going! Tiffany D: This is one of my favorite shops for multiple reasons. The owner is amazing for so many reasons. She takes a genuine interest in her clients and she is helping women across the globe by providing essential clothing to those who many not have access. She also keeps sustainability in mind, which is very important to me. All her fabric is biodegradable and sourced responsibly. Not only that, but all the clothing is made and dyed here in Kansas City so I know the money I’m spending is going towards the local economy. Lastly, the clothing is so incredibly comfy. The green joggers are my favorite pants EVER. I also have a sleep set that I have to keep myself from wearing every single night. I love the new everyday shirts that can be casual or more upscale. I just honestly love this store! I’m so proud that Kansas City has something so unique, important, and valuable.

Cassie Reid: Let me start with I love the Torrid brand, I have shopped here almost exclusively for ~7 years. However, this store changes everything about why I love Torrid, which is usually the customer service. I am new to the area and have given this store 2 chances. Both times the associates pay little to no attention to customers, discuss private matter infront of customers and every transaction has had errors. Very disappointed in this physical store.

However, the sales reps here are apparently so desperate to sign people up for their Credit card that they will outright lie to customers to get them to sign up.My partner tried to pay with a gift card, and was actively told not to, with TWO sales reps telling her she could use that gift card to pay the credit card, and encouraged her to buy the card. Despite the fact that this sounded obviously incorrect, we were assured this was true. Unsurprisingly, we were correct to be skeptical. I cannot and will not recommend a business that so blatantly lies to their customers for money. You are better off finding a more ethical store.

Brittany Thornton: As a former VS employee and long time VS reward member and cardholder it pains me to write this review. After my experience today at the Zona Rosa Victoria secret, I don’t see myself shopping at Victoria Secret anymore. I can not count how many purchases I’ve made over the years at VS. I bought a bra on my VS card and did not like the fit. I couldn’t find the receipt with all the holiday craziness, but figured I’d be fine because all the tags where attached and it was clearly never worn, plus I purchased it on my VS card.I was very wrong. The lady at the counter helping me was nice at the beginning and very quickly turned condescending and kept calling me “honey” over and over. When the manager came she was in sweats and didn’t even look like an employee. When I started to ask if she was the manager she immediately cut me off.I completely understand that they’ve had policy changes. As of OCT 1, you are NOT able to return without a receipt. You can only exchange for a different color or size. You can not get a different bra or other items.I can see why retail is dying. Not just Victoria Secret store front closing down all over, it is brands across the country. It is so much easier buying and returning online. I don’t want to ever have another interaction like that again. I’m not sure if it’s the holidays craziness or the stress of the store not doing well, but the customer service was at an all time low and would have never been handled that way years ago.I’m going to be cutting up my VS card and continuing the new adventure of buying more affordable just as great bras online!

I finally decided to go find someone only to find out a temporary register had been set up in the front of the store. I suggested that they put a sign on the regular registers saying checkout in front. The girl said , why, are you in a hurry... followed by, she would see if she could get to it. But when she was done with me she just stood there looking completely lost. That was rude and this is usually one of the nicest most polite place to shop. Young kids are clueless when it comes to customer service!
phuong: The woman who rang us up was so pleasant! She was chatting with us and just made the experience better. There was a good sale that day and so many women were crowded around the underwear section and just pushing people out of the way. There isn't much structure in the way they display items so it is very cramped. I was annoyed that I couldn't get much because I got tired of trying to just look at items without other women's hands just blocking everything, and she just chatted and it definitely left a good impression for me.

After that, nothing happened, the store employees said it happens all of the time. Looking through the drawers, they were out of nearly everything. The drawers were empty. Only a few odd sizes of bras left on hangers. It was really a sad experience. I feel like I need to drive all the way to VS in overland park if I need a decent bra. Its unfortunate.

I went in there with my best friend who's blind, and because she relies on me talking to her, it's an incredibly stressful situation for her to go shopping because the music is always so loud that I have to yell. But Haley understood our situation and not only turned the music OFF, but she cleared the dressing room hall of obstacles and helped my best friend find the BEST bra and panty set!! Jalissa also helped and the girls were SO helpful! My friend left in tears because it was the first time she was EVER able to go shopping without stress. Haley and Jalissa have set the standard for customer service and we will be back!
