Carina Devera: If you have a stroller or handicap this place does not comply with regulations. I visited the store two days ago, and on the first level the elevator does not work. My partner had to carry the stroller done the first set of stairs. Second level elevator does work. But I can’t imagine someone who was in a wheelchair being able to shop due to this issue. Please fix it, the neglect is not a good look on the store .

Laura Fromm: I received a gift over the holidays that came in a different color than advertised. I returned it, marking that I would like a gift card in return. I was planning to simply rebuy the comforter in a different color. Urban received the package and never processed the return, so I called a few weeks later and they noticed this error and said it would process, then Urban mistakenly returned it in the form of credit to the original purchaser. This was a gift to me, so now the person who gifted it awkwardly contacted me asking why it was returned. I called urban outfitters back and they said they would not give me a gift card as they cannot reverse this payment. Seeing as the error is on them I would’ve expected better customer service and that they would still either resend the original item or give me a gift card. if I’ve ever had an error with another company they have always made it right… figure I would share this experience as if I would’ve known I would’ve selected an item from a different store. It’s been frustrating to say the least

Asia: Is this location closing or something? I came in to look for a jewellery dish which you'd usually find on the lower level...that level was dang near empty! Some of their items had dust on them as if they'd been sitting for awhile. I know the pandemic might've played a part in the place looking like it did but I think it's time for some new merchandise. Not to mention, there were no associates around to help.
Kathy Nguyen: I think it’s important to have the dressing rooms available anytime you go into a clothing store. Understandably with COVID-19 I can understand why some clothing stores do have their dressing rooms closed however the urban outfitters website specifically says that the dressing rooms are open. This is my second time wasting 40 minutes to drive to urban outfitters only for them to tell me that their dressing rooms are closed. I tried to call ahead, probably 20 times, with no response before driving there. To my surprise the sales associate told me that the dressing rooms are closed today because they didn’t have enough people working. She also proceeded to tell me that the phones weren’t answered because they were on their lunch break. Oh for 2 hours??? Ok. Maybe have a social media account that posts whether certain services are open or not. Sales associate was lazy and in empathetic. The only positive thing I have to say about this store is that Kelsey is a good worker.

Sonya Kreger: So I used to love this store but recently it’s absolutely gone down hill. I went in for shoes I found online I called the store and spoke with CJ and he said it was in stock but I couldn’t put them on hold. So, I rushed over to buy it and when I asked where the shoes were in the store they told me they do not carry it. When I told them I had spoken to CJ they told me he would come up and talk to me. He came up and told me when I called he assumed I wouldn’t come in for the shoes when I heard I couldn’t put it on hold. I really wish he would have told me they weren’t in store when I called. I literally drove 30 minutes to get them. He didn’t have to be so blatantly rude to me I thanked him for trying but he kept pushing me to buy other shoes similar that weren’t what I wanted. I didn’t appreciate being followed around the store I felt harassed. I just wanted shoes and I called ahead o be sure I don’t understand how things went so wrong.

Anna: Aggressive employee & very unhelpful. At first, we were impressed by the quality of the shoes compared to the nearby Nike outlet. We tried some on, and I noticed a man in a white shirt who had been staring at customers, watching us. I looked at him and determined he was an employee (versus someone scouting for pickpocketing). I told my friend part of the reason I felt so uncomfortable in stores these today was because of the lack of customer service… which seems to be replaced by employees attempting to intimidate potential customers. I noticed immediately after I had made eye contact with him that he then went to the back of the store and remarked that I hated being stared at instead of helped, and that I was aalready uncomfortable. While my friend went to put back the shoes he had tried on, I walked around to get a second look at the clearance shoes. That guy followed me, and I’m assuming since I was alone and without my male friend anymore, decided to try intimidate me. There’s a difference between actually helping, and asking if someone needs help in an aggressive tone. I bet his behavior was caught on camera, and his employers should know he is doing the opposite of customer service, which is the appropriate way to actually prevent loss of revenue. If he actually wanted to help and not intimidate customers,he would have started with asking if I needed help, instead of staring at me from behind shelves and then getting angry he got caught staring. Instead, I left shaken and without buying anything. While I still think their shoes are higher quality than Nike’s, I can’t imagine spending money at a store where I’m being informally accused of being a potential shoplifter by an annoyed employee, when I was an actual potential customer. Very disappointed in that guy’s behavior today.

They literally let people drop off prescriptions in the drive through and then wait 15-30 minutes while those are filled rather than asking them to pull out of the lane and wait somewhere else. I can’t go in the store right now, I just need to pickup a prescription. Inside is always dirty. I don’t come to this store unless absolutely necessary. If I go to hell it will be this store.Edit; it’s worse than ever. I’m literally stepping around junkies on the way in.The inside of this store positively stinks like unwashed humans. It’s filthy. The parking lot is atrocious. They closed the good one on Troost and left us with this dump.

I came at 3:30 and they told me it will not be done for another hour. So then I left and went back around 730. I finally get to the window at 8:10 just for the woman to say that there isn’t even a prescription in their system. So how did the previous woman give me information about when my prescription will be done? It doesn’t make sense. And then they take extremely long every single time. The woman seemed super confused like she didn’t know what she was doing. I even have a text message from when my prescription got sent in. I just don’t understand where the disconnect could be.

And I was browsing other things throughout the store because it was right before Christmas. But , when I went to checkout the cashier accused me of stealing. I had a 20 oz Dr pepper bottle that I had put water in before I left my house and the man says "is that pop in your bag yours?" So I took it out to show him. I told him if he thought I stole something he could look through my purse, I even started rifling through my purse so he could see everything in it. I turned my pockets inside out. I was perfectly nice about the whole thing. I said "it's ok, I understand, I have a big purse and there is a lot of stuff in it." He never even tried to apologize or anything. So rude

I see fast food restaurants paying more than what Walgreens is paying their cashiers and pharmacy techs. I overheard a pharm tech say that Walgreens accidentally gave her a dollar raise and then took it back. This location is constantly understaffed and has poor customer service sometimes because it doesn’t pay well. Management can fix this problem.

Emily: Cindy is arrogant, condescending, and lost the store $300+. I had a return that I was going to redeem for store credit and turn around and spend in surplus. I’ve never had any type of issue with a return before until I met Cindy at the Plaza. I had a box of exfoliating wipes that I used over half, deciding that the results aren’t worth the $60 for the product. After giving it a good go, I came to the Plaza location for the first time in years. I was denied a refund for different reasons, with the reasons changing every time. All these brand new “policies” I’ve never heard before. First I was told since it was over 30 days (5 weeks) they can’t do anything. I said that was fine cause I wanted a store credit anyway, and they said I’m beyond timeframe for store credit too. Then I was told it’s because they have a “75% policy” where the product can’t be over 75% used. I showed that the product was not over 75% used, and the supposed policy changed to “actually it has to be 75% full to return.” So, the product can only be 25% used to return? I have never heard that before and I’ve shopped at Sephora for 10+ years and spend thousands every year. As I was trying to understand, Cindy was very rude and condescending, seeming to enjoy what “power” she felt she had to deny me this. Maybe she felt she was saving her store money from the refund, but she lost $300+ in purchases I was about to make. I went ahead and drove to OP to do my return and purchase and the ladies there were so sweet and didn’t even ask any questions. It’s people like Cindy who should not be in customer service, and should not represent the store. I will not be spending my money at this location, and I hope somebody takes according action because Cindy is a very poor employee and does the store and company more harm than good.

Gary Rowlen: Went in to get a shingles vaccination. My insurance card was not recognized by the store computer, which was going to cause me a very high bill. In the few minutes it took me to contact my carrier to confirm that the vaccine was indeed covered, the pharmacy window closed for lunch break and I had to wait about 40 minutes for a pharmacist to return and administer my shot. The actual procedure was then done quickly and without incident.

Tilong who is one the managers, is very courteous. I've observed him talking to his employees and he knows how to talk to them. And the customers. I believe that they should all get a raise at this WALGREENS. THEY DESERVE MORE THAN FIVE STARS.!!!!

Mireya & Sergio Camarillo: Went to pick Rx, walked in, the pharmacy counter was closed, got in the drive thru line, waited 1 hour and 37 MINUTES!! I get to the window and one of the Rx is over the counter and it was too much to ask to have it added to my Rx order to pay together. I walked back in to the store and waited 19 minutes to get help since the meds were locked up and then I was told they were out of stock. AWFUL!!! So done with this store!
Deborah Warren: I WILL NOT USE THIS WALGREENS LOCATION!!! I needed to pick up a prescription for my 90 year mom who had surgery. You are NOT allowed to go into the store to get the prescription only drive thru pick ups. My mom & sister went through the line in the day and were told to come back 3 hours for pick up not to take mom back out, who could not be left alone, I went to pickup the meds. I got in the line at 535pm, the pharmacy closes at 7pm. I wasted my gas, had to deal with fumes from the running car in front of me and after patiently waiting it was 702p when the person in front of me got her prescription. Before that person could drive away they put up the closed sign and walk away!! There were at least 7 cars behind me and they had all been there 30+ minutes. I could have appreciated it more if the pharmacist would have taken the time to tell those that waited sorry they were not able to help and make sure no one was waiting on meds that was life threatening. I was willing to have the prescription transferred to a store that the pharmacy closed at 10pm. I went in the store and explained my situation to the manager and he said I'm sorry corporate knows but there's nothing we can do. At a minimum, I believe they should have had someone monitor the line starting at 6pm not allow others to get in line but serves those there at an early time! It's not like I drive up 15 minutes before closing! As a retired military dependent with Tricare benefits and Walgreens is where they send our prescriptions and as a 20 year employee of a well known hospital, I will continually share this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and the LACK of concern and sensitivity to serve the community this store is located in. I hope others will follow my lead and use another option if possible and let the Linwood/Prospect location know they can't mistreat their customers!!!!!!

They both were extremely polite and went above and beyond to provide the excellent customer service I would come to find out I needed. Diana R: I had a prescription transferred over to this store being told it would be ready at 4pm yesterday. I arrive at the store to find that out was drive thru only (after walking in). Waited in a line for approx 40 min to be told that they were out of stock on the medicine. Like I couldn't receive the courtesy of a phone call to notify me of this??? Very incompetent and unprofessional in my opinion... Waited on the phone for approx an hour tonight to get my prescription transferred to another location and find out the pharmacy was closed the whole damn time!!! How can this be allowed to happen??? Again, inconsiderate and unprofessional!!! Never again!!! No more Walgreens for me!!!
Valerie Rose (Lala): DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS STORE! The staff in the pharmacy are the worst. The pharmacy manager wouldn't even take a minute to understand the overwhelming situation that he and his staff put me in. He was prejudice against me because of my disability and refused me service. I pray the corporate office will read this and take action so no other seniors like me have to suffer the mental and physical anguish at his hands.In the past, I tried to talk to the store manager, Dan, he has no sense of customer service. . Because of him, I had limited myself to only using the pharmacy at this location. Please see other reviews about Dan.Background: When I call to fill a prescription, I cannot count on them to actually fill it. This has happened to me multiple times. They waste the customer's time by not having it ready. Then I have to ask it to be filled again and guess what...last time I tried to pick up one in particular (for the 3rd time) they had a sign stating the pharmacy will be closed the rest of the day, again wasting their clients time. The fourth time I tried to get this particular prescription filled they told me they were out of stock now, I'll have to check back in a few days, like they don't understand how their inventory works. There's a particularly a hateful woman in the Linwood store that could not care less about a disabled, senior customer who really needs her medications. She doesn't care and the manager doesn't care that I've attempted four times to my prescription and that three times it was Walgreens fault. According to the manager I'm not allowed to get upset about this outrageous incompetence or demand better service. In fact, he made it clear that he doesn't intend on assisting me in any way.

Breanna Ransburg: I am a Shipt shopper(like Instacart). This was my first time coming to this location for an order. I picked up all the items and when I came to the register, the associate standing there took 2 minutes to greet me because she was busy talking to her coworker and finishing her story. She finally got to me and when I told her this was a Shipt order, she looked at me like I was crazy. I then said it was taxed exempt and she yelled, "Aw naw, we can't do this unless you have your paperwork and show ID!" Calmly, I said, "Okay ma'am, I've never had to shower paperwork before." So I stepped out of the line and called customer service. The rep helping me was very nice and told me to ask for a store manager. I did. The store manager, Dan, came to the register and refused to help me, even with customer service on the phone and walking him through what he needed to do. They stated, "Per Missouri law, I have to provide my tax exemption paperwork or a Tax ID." The customer service rep provided them with a tax ID, but because it was not the exact one in the computer, they still would not let me make the purchase. I had to cancel the order and ended up wasting an hour of my time in the store. Dan, the manager,, was very rude as well and I honestly have never experienced such poor customer service at a Walgreens before. I will NEVER step foot in that store again.
Erica Whittington: I’ve been going to the pharmacy here for years. I do have to call ahead to have my prescription filled. Sometimes it’s not in stock. Otherwise, everything is great. They have to deal with quite a bit at this location. I’m grateful they’re still open. I saw something in the neighborhood flyer about wanting them to “make it nicer.” We simply can’t have nice things around here. If I were them, I’d only fill prescriptions and only offer pickup orders for things in the store. I haven’t been inside for many years. Due to the customers, not the staff or conditions of the store. I had been in there many times before deciding to stop going in.

Morgan List: This pharmacy is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to and I don't say that lightly. First of all, they have terrible customer service and are never helpful; I don't usually care about customer service, but these people make me feel bad for asking simple questions and requests. Also, I have gotten wrong information from them on multiple occasions, that I found out later was for a fact wrong. Sometimes this location isn't even open when they claim to be open. It is super hard to get on the phone with these people unless you wait 20+ minutes. In addition, they hardly ever have medicine in stock. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone and will be switching pharmacies.
tiffany anderson: Unprofessional pharmacists!! They said they cannot have my prescription transferred. I know that the policy is that it can be transferred one time. I just called my original walgreens and the pharmacist there said THAT IT CAN be transferred and all they need is my name and DOB. FYI, this Walgreens on Roe is also known to close down at times due to staffing shortages. And they're lying bc they don't want to do their job. Unbeleiveable.***UPDATE I have found another pharmacy to refill the script, and all he needed was my name and DOB and is filling it with no problem. So this rule she made up over the phone is just a lie. She even said she asked her boss... Well he lied too then. I really wish that people would not be lazy and just do their jobs.

Marcy Erb: My husband and I had appointments scheduled for the COVID-19 booster vaccination at 6:30pm and 6:40pm. We arrived 15 mins early as instructed and brought all of the required information with us. We waited in line for over 20 mins which wasn’t that big of a deal but the space is small and not conducive to social distancing. Once it was finally our turn to check in it took over 10 mins for the pharmacy tech to get our information correct within the system. When the pharmacist finally arrived he didn’t provide any safety information or go over possible side effects. He also did not inject the vaccine intramuscularly due to the angle of injection. If you are looking for a vaccination location I would suggest the HyVee Pharmacy or CVS Pharmacy.
