Aubrey Anderson: Ulta is the one-stop-shop for beauty, self-care and haircare products. The prices are higher on the drugstore items by a smidgen, but there usually is a coupon available, AND there is the option to buy 2 products get one free *most* occasions. I even came here for a few years for my haircuts until my stylist left (in 2018, lol.)If you are not a member of the rewards program, you should sign up. It is free! You accumulate points as you make purchases. The more you spend, the better perks you get as you advance through the tiered system. Regardless of your status in the program, you will always have a birthday freebie!I love Ulta because it carries so many cruelty free brands and luxury haircare tools including the Dyson airwrap, the DryBar one step blow dryer, etc. I have learned a lot about skincare over the years so I've had a great time testing products out that I see for sale at Ulta.I really appreciate how I don't feel judged when I come shop in sweats, a messy bun and glasses. There is always someone willing to help. The order pickup is effortless - make sure you have your ID on you.

A Johnson: Sales clerk double charged me for one of my items. Didn't notice till I had walked out and looked at receipt. I wasn't angry, as this is a simple mistake to correct. I walked back in store at 3 minutes til closing and two of the three employees standing behind the register looked my way with startling annoyed look ...(as I'm sure they were ready to close). I smiled as I approached the counter and said, "I think I was overcharged." The clerk who assisted me continued with her stink face look, processed the refund, BUT NEVER APOLOGIZED. I mean, had the gal not acted so inconvenienced by my presence, the lack of apology maybe wouldn't have bothered me. However, considering this was HER error, I expect better customer service. In my work, even if I make a silly trivial mistake with a client, I profusely apologize. Perhaps she needs some additional training or a permanent vacation because Ulta typically has the friendliest most helpful staff.

Asia E.: My daughter made an online appointment to get her eyebrows waxed. Upon our arrival we were told there was noone available to perform the service. Then the lady backtracked and said there was someone there to perform the service. 🤦🏽‍♀️ We sat down and waited, and waited, and waited without anyone saying anything. Finally, a lady came over and apologized and walked us up to the brow bar. She then began to look very flustered and walked away saying she'd be back. When she returned she told us she didn't have the proper supplies to perform the service. This was a HUGE disappointment and waste of our time. Needless, to say although the cosmetologist was very nice when she did come to get my daughter 25 - 30 minutes after her appointment time, we definitely will NOT be returning.

I recently visited Ulta Beauty and had the absolute pleasure of receiving assistance from Claire. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for her exceptional service and expert advice. She went above and beyond to help me pick out new makeup.Claire's warm and welcoming demeanor instantly put me at ease. I'm not a fan of stores like this and usually feel overwhelmed and pressured into buying makeup I ultimately regret purchasing. She took the time to listen attentively to my preferences, concerns, and desired look, showing genuine interest in helping me find the perfect products. Her extensive knowledge of makeup brands, shades, and application techniques was truly impressive. Emily: Cindy is arrogant, condescending, and lost the store $300+. I had a return that I was going to redeem for store credit and turn around and spend in surplus. I’ve never had any type of issue with a return before until I met Cindy at the Plaza. I had a box of exfoliating wipes that I used over half, deciding that the results aren’t worth the $60 for the product. After giving it a good go, I came to the Plaza location for the first time in years. I was denied a refund for different reasons, with the reasons changing every time. All these brand new “policies” I’ve never heard before. First I was told since it was over 30 days (5 weeks) they can’t do anything. I said that was fine cause I wanted a store credit anyway, and they said I’m beyond timeframe for store credit too. Then I was told it’s because they have a “75% policy” where the product can’t be over 75% used. I showed that the product was not over 75% used, and the supposed policy changed to “actually it has to be 75% full to return.” So, the product can only be 25% used to return? I have never heard that before and I’ve shopped at Sephora for 10+ years and spend thousands every year. As I was trying to understand, Cindy was very rude and condescending, seeming to enjoy what “power” she felt she had to deny me this. Maybe she felt she was saving her store money from the refund, but she lost $300+ in purchases I was about to make. I went ahead and drove to OP to do my return and purchase and the ladies there were so sweet and didn’t even ask any questions. It’s people like Cindy who should not be in customer service, and should not represent the store. I will not be spending my money at this location, and I hope somebody takes according action because Cindy is a very poor employee and does the store and company more harm than good.

It would appear that your associates pick and choose who to inconvenience when asking for additional I.D. verification based off appearance. I generally pick up my orders after work dressed professionally, the only time I have ever been asked for I.D. is when I'm wearing jeans a T shirt with tattoos exposed. I asked the cashier today what the policy was and explained my grievance after being asked for I.D. she was unable to tell me the policy and said sometimes they check. Sometimes they don't.

I hope I get the names right, Nathaniel was very nice when I called with questions before coming in and made sure my questions were answered. Another blond haired girl on the floor was very nice and took my heavy item to the front register for me while I shopped. And BIG shoutout to Panthiea who rang me out and signed me up for the credit card, so kind and professional. Would drive out of my way to return to this Ulta any time!

I was pleasantly surprised how eager everyone was to help and am so grateful for each of them taking time to make sure I found what I was looking for. I could feel a genuine sense of care and positive energy from the employees at this Ulta which I’m sure speaks volumes about their manager as well. She kept it real instead of just mindless talk which I love. At the end, I was a little disappointed it wasn't as light as normal but she explained what was going on with the gloss and why it's necessary for hair thats often colored. Also explained it would lighten up with some washes. I really appreciated that! She also pointed out some banding in my hair that was done from a previous stylist which I appreciated so I didn't think it was her. She also made me feel better by assuring me its not noticeable and just mentioned because shes a professional. Which I appreciated because now I know what to look for. She also explained how I can get it out. After a day, I'm loving the color more and more! She also gave me some deep conditioning advice that I intend to take! I feel much better now. Thanks Lacey.

There was another girl back there doing hair at the same time. She seemed super nice, as did all the lovely ladies walking around helping. I can’t remember who checked me out but I got a handful of items wanted to use my birthday coupon get my birthday gift and use some of my points- and she was so helpful and never bothered to do any of it. They were out of the birthday items (on the 12th if the month already) but she did say they should have more later in the week. All in all, this store is a great one!

Li Lo: I always have amazing hair after being treated by Katrina. She really knows her craft and is very great at doing blonde in particular. 10/10 recommend Katrina at the Salon.
Jessica McLaughlin: Elizabeth at OP's 95th & Quivira location is a God send. I went in the day before our family photos, as I was having some skin issues, and she took the time to show me new ways to apply my makeup and was very diligent and thoughtful. I left feeling much more confident. She's extremely passionate about what she does and it shows!
A King: Love, love this store. Friendliest staff, always helpful, treat all customers like old friends, can't say enough good things about Ulta! Parking lot is a nightmare, but not Ulta's fault.
Logan Stelting: Always have a great experiences here. Staff is super helpful and sweet. When I went in for new face wash Ashley and Angie helped talk me through different benefits of the options, and Victoria was super helpful at checkout. Went to the salon here and had the best experience with Katrina. She's so sweet and Nailed what I was looking for with my hair. Best Ulta in the area!

Sarah Allee: They had enough time to help everyone around me. They had enough time to constantly watch me as I searched for what I needed. However, didn't have enough to help me find what what I was looking for and when they asked me at the register if I found everything ok and I said NO, they offered to order something instead of asking me what I might have been looking for... The customer service here has really gone down hill. I'll be going 119th from now on. Sorry if my red face and gym clothes made me unapproachable and suspect enough to stare me down and watch me without offering assistance.

Yvette Mayes: My daughter and I went in to browse. After 30 mins of both of us cluelessly trying to take in the cosmetics and facial care not 1 associate offered to help us. My daughter commented that she felt like we were not the proper age group for anyone to bother helping us. She felt like if we were ages 18-25 vs 30 & 55 someone would have helped us out. I'm not sure I can talk her into returning for a scheduled consultation to try some of the products and application techniques that she wants to learn about.

Tonya Gullino: This Ulta has the greatest, most knowledgeable, and patient employees. You can ask a million questions and they will answer them all without making you feel stupid or out of place. They never act hurried and to busy to help you. I really appreciate that they are not pushy to upsell you something you don't need or wouldn't work for you. They always give me their honest opinions on products even if it cost them a sell or causes me to buy a cheaper but more appropriate item for my needs. This is so rare in the retail world. It makes me as a feel respected and appreciated. Thank you!

wild yoongi: I called the store and asked if they had any coach tote bag left ($65+ fragrance sale) and they said they did. I asked if they could hold one for me and they said they can hold one until the end of the day. I drove 30 minutes to the store and checked upfront and they said they still had it on hold. I said "Great, i'm just going to go find a perfume and i'll be back". It took me 15 minutes to find a perfume I liked and when I went up front to purchase, the cashier said they are out of the tote bag... I said "never mind" and put the product back. No apologies were said to me. Overall, I wasted an hour worth of my life and gas. Sure it's just a tote bag, but damnnn... that was disrespectful and had my hopes up for nothing.
