Syd Hendin: What a fun & unique small business! It’s 3 floors full of a bit of new, old & in between. Love all the little shops throughout the store too. It’s the perfect place to buy a gift for ANYTHING (Father’s Day, Bachelor/Bachelorette gift, baby shower, etc.). The staff was very nice & helpful as well. I can’t wait to see what they have for the holidays!

Lynette Darby: STOP BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE! They have an "all sales final" policy and will not accept returns. I am stuck with a $200 upholstered, brand new, ottoman that doesn't work in my living room and will now be forever in my basement. If I had known of the "all sales final" policy, I would never have purchased because I am decorating my main living area and seeing what works and what doesn't. Charmed House needs to redo their "all sales final" signage so that it's less aesthetically pleasing and WAY MORE PRONOUNCED. My parents ran their own furniture store for 30 years, and believe me, people could and did return items all the time after testing them in their home. In our day and time, when the standard is that items can be returned in mint condition and within a reasonable timeframe, then customers don't go to the checkout counter expecting this type of policy. Bad for business. I will not be shopping here again.

David Bass: It's been a go to store for several seasonal decorations. Store seems to have lost some of its decor style since its changed names. A good store to visit in the West Bottoms.

Dale MacKinney: Very cool store! Stuffed to the brim, bit in a way that makes it look like it was designed in a magazine. Colors put together with themes and random items that you wouldn't think go together, but it works! It's a bit overwhelming, but in a Disneyland like way. So much to see, but you just want to keep wandering through to see what other treasures are around the corner. The prices are a bit higher here, but that's to be expected with the area you find it in the clientele they cater to.

Evan Mitchell: Tell your associates to stop bypassing the email receipt option when checking out. Several of them try to hit the bypass option as fast as they can. E-receipts are much easier to categorize over pictures of a receipt.
Bullseye Bullman: Usually have the items you need. Downfall is there is almost always a pretty good wait in most of the lines.
Melanin Poppin: The location on Linwood Blvd is the ABSOLUTE BEST out of ALL the chains in Kansas City. The Linwood Location has Super Friendly, Helpful, Professional, Welcoming Staff members.I have been as far as 154th in Olathe and ALL the other Stores act as though Certain People of a Melanin Complexion have some sort of time limit as to how long they can be in the store. They act as if People of a Melanin Complexion are not Allowed to Browse. They want you In and Immediately Out. I see in the reviews at other Locations customers of a NON Melanin complexion saying they could not find help on the floors. This is because there will LITERALLY be 5-6 employees, in a Row, following the People of a Melanin Complexion around Asking a Million times if THEY need help when THEY aren't even Asking or even Looking as if they desire assistance. It's like security sees the Melanin Complexion people on camera and Instantly put staff on THEM, Way in Corner Aisle 44. Hmmmmmmm !!

Garrett Smith: The taco shop inside is way overpriced. Carne asada grande burrito is just a normal sized burrito with no flavor the "carne asada" is just steamed beef. Got a side of fries for +3 dollars and I only got a handful of soggy greasy fries. Total was 16$ with a 2 dollar coffee. Don't waste your money here.

Chuong Doan: This place blows. Good luck getting any help here. Employees in orange aprons walk past you and avoid eye contact so that you can't ask them any questions. And when you do get a hold of someone to try to find something in the store, they have to get out their phone and Google the location. Wth?!??? The self checkout system sucks. Bring back cashiers please. I really hate going to this store even though it's close to me. I usually drive further to the Westlake or strassers because the service is much better.

Dane Dahlstrom: This place use to have a 5 star rating but with the high turn over, horrible customer service and apparent lack empathy one should pot be surprised. They are usually out of what I need and since stores are not connected they are limited to be able to track more paint down. You end up having to call each store. Go Spectrum!

Pu1951ford: I was just at this store to pick up a few supplies and ask for help with an issue I’ve had (how to remove dried paint & Kilz that dripped on wood. Water, used for clean up for both, was not doing the job.) When I asked the guy waiting on me the best way to take care of this, he actually said to me, “I don’t know. You’d have to ask a painter.” 😳 I commented that given this was a paint store, it seems that they should be able to help me. He answered me with a blank stare. I then inquired whether anybody else could possibly help me, and he said, “They all just work here like me.” UNBELIEVABLE!! 😡 The reason that I gave them 3 stars instead of just 1 is that I approached another worker and he was very kind and helpful. (It should be noted that when I complained about the first guy, the helpful dude said that the guy was part time as if this excused it all. It seems that perhaps Sherwin-Williams should do a better job of either training their people—or certainly help them understand what [decent] customer service is all about. It’s certainly OK to not know an answer…but may be ask a coworker? )

KayakFishingUnlimitedTV: Worst staff! Have no clue how to color match stain. Place 3 stains sampled on a board and said they couldn't match the stain color I provided them. Asked if they tried mixing any stain colors together and they said no we didn't want to mix colors together… what!? Are you serious?? Said they’d have a color for me in 24-48 hrs. 5 days later, never heard from them. Complete waste of time! Staff had no clue what they were doing
I: Sherwin Williams is a terrific company! I had a problem with their paint several years ago on a project, and it would have bankrupted me to fix it, but Sherwin Williams researched it, admitted it was a fluke issue with their product and paid to take care of it! what large corporation does that? I was SO grateful. their integrity was an answer to prayer. I only buy Sherwin Williams whenever possible.

Nancy Marcy: The man I hired to remodel my bathroom told me to select the paint. I asked him if there was a brand that he preferred (or one to steer clear of). He told me to go to Sherwin Williams. I had been picking up color samples at several stores, and was completely overwhelmed with the choices. No one in the "big box stores" came to me to ask if I needed any help. As soon as I walked into the SW store I knew that I would get the attention and help that I needed. I was correct. A charming young woman who knew her stuff immediately gave me guidance and advice. I'm very happy and will go back when it's time to select the paint(s) for my kitchen!
Dan Brown: Got my order wrong even though I confirmed three times, with simple notes on their paint samples I had the clerk repeat it back to me. When I asked for the order to be corrected the "manager" gave me attitude and tried to blame another location which I never placed the order with.Overpriced and rude.Never again.

Callyn Kurhe: I had a lot of touch ups I needed to get done before an inspection. I had 4 different rusty paint cans sitting in my basement. I wasn't sure if they were still good since they had been down there for many years. I came to the store expecting to have to pay for all 4 new gallons, but Corey and Mike were able to revive what I had. They took all the cans and stirred and then strained them into new cans. They put all new labels on as well as putting a sample of paint on top of the can. I'm so happy!!!

Corey, Mike and Emmie helped us pick out the right paint for the room (eggshell, satin- what??) and got us set up with all the right stuff (rollers, etc.. ) to help us get it done as painlessly as possibly. Then made me go thru my receipt one by one and made me late for my appt. Also made me feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Not coming back!

But I was so hungry on impulse I opened and indulged just to find my funds had not been applied to my pay card as expected. Terrifyingly and as ashamed as I was I bought what I could, and didn't get thrown out, or in jail so I'm relieved that it ended good. Walmart employees and their grace here is as attractive as their prices and products placement. It's always clean and stocked and I am just blessed that compassion is also in the forefront with all their wonderful selections during my poor judgement in consumer relations. AT THIS LOCATION!

They were buy one get one free! I spent $5 dollars and got 2 decent glaze brushes. The quality is better than other cheap brushes I have used.
Stacey Marie: The selection at this store was marvelous. It did seem that they are always running a 40% off special of some sort, considering the seasonal decor is overpriced. For the most part, the store was well organized. The bathrooms were not cleaned, but it was a Sunday and they were clearly short staffed with a very packed house. I do not recommend going on the weekend. There was 2 checkouts going...about a half hour in line. They do offer online ordering and in store pick up for 25% off. I will go back on a less busy day.
playalots: I’ve been going to this JoAnn location for years and there’s always this wonderful Hispanic gentleman that helps us out all the time. No matter of how busy or hectic it is the store, he is always pleasant and has a smile on his face.He lets us know of any good deals and coupons that are available and is very knowledgeable about the products. Besides the broad fabric selection, he’s the reason I keep coming back. We need more workers like him.

Kyle Lawson: Even though I disagree politically with the companies policies, they do provide good knick knacks and framing for the home. The only downside is that the checking out process is slow. There are no bar codes, so the cashiers have to type in the item number to ring it up. This really backs up the lines.
