Evan Mitchell: Tell your associates to stop bypassing the email receipt option when checking out. Several of them try to hit the bypass option as fast as they can. E-receipts are much easier to categorize over pictures of a receipt.
Bullseye Bullman: Usually have the items you need. Downfall is there is almost always a pretty good wait in most of the lines.
Melanin Poppin: The location on Linwood Blvd is the ABSOLUTE BEST out of ALL the chains in Kansas City. The Linwood Location has Super Friendly, Helpful, Professional, Welcoming Staff members.I have been as far as 154th in Olathe and ALL the other Stores act as though Certain People of a Melanin Complexion have some sort of time limit as to how long they can be in the store. They act as if People of a Melanin Complexion are not Allowed to Browse. They want you In and Immediately Out. I see in the reviews at other Locations customers of a NON Melanin complexion saying they could not find help on the floors. This is because there will LITERALLY be 5-6 employees, in a Row, following the People of a Melanin Complexion around Asking a Million times if THEY need help when THEY aren't even Asking or even Looking as if they desire assistance. It's like security sees the Melanin Complexion people on camera and Instantly put staff on THEM, Way in Corner Aisle 44. Hmmmmmmm !!

Garrett Smith: The taco shop inside is way overpriced. Carne asada grande burrito is just a normal sized burrito with no flavor the "carne asada" is just steamed beef. Got a side of fries for +3 dollars and I only got a handful of soggy greasy fries. Total was 16$ with a 2 dollar coffee. Don't waste your money here.

Chuong Doan: This place blows. Good luck getting any help here. Employees in orange aprons walk past you and avoid eye contact so that you can't ask them any questions. And when you do get a hold of someone to try to find something in the store, they have to get out their phone and Google the location. Wth?!??? The self checkout system sucks. Bring back cashiers please. I really hate going to this store even though it's close to me. I usually drive further to the Westlake or strassers because the service is much better.

Od P: EDIT: All my mom wanted, was an apology and for them to file a claim so that this doesn't happen in the future with another customer. No one came to her, she had to walk to the front. They didn't give her an apology, told her it was her fault for wearing sandals, and refused to file a claim. Telling me to contact your national customer support number, to go through the motions of hearing an apology, is not enough to get us to be customer's again. The lack of empathy from any single worker/manager at that store is frustrating and me calling a number is generic. Do better. If you're on the fence of going to Lowe's over any other home improvement store, just go to the other one. At least you won't get injured there.--------------------------------------I am writing this for my mom, who doesn’t want to pursue any legal action unless she requires surgery. I am fuming because she is a first generation immigrant who has lived in America for decades, and the treatment she has received is NOT okay for any single person to have received. She is also on blood thinners and anytime she bleeds, it is SCARY and life threatening.Earlier today, she went to Lowe’s. She was near the floor trim aisle. There are TWO layers, so the photos I’m sending isn’t justice. She was not touching these floor trims, but even if she was, they should not be falling so easily on customers. She was shopping around, and the floor trim fell on her foot, and she screamed because it hurt so badly. A floor associate asked what was happening, my mom explained what happened and then asked to speak to a manager. The associate then left and for several minutes my mom waited for no one to come to her. She then asked another associate and they TOLD her to go to the front desk to speak to a manager when she is in pain. She then painfully went to the front desk and the manager REFUSED to write an accident report, and told her she shouldn’t wear sandals. No apology or anything. She is a customer…..there are no rules for customers that state you must wear closed toed shoes.I am frustrated because this is a corporate store and no claim is being filed. This is NOT okay and we will never be shopping here again. Please, go to Home Depot.

Nightlistic: The Kansas City Lowes Delivery Service are dishonest, lairs, and deceitful. I was to have a dyer delivered today only to be left a message claiming they showed up at my house when they didn't. I called and was told that the time frame they gave me which was 5-9pm was a mistake, and they can't deliver past 8pm. I waited all day for them to show up. Now they tell me I have to wait another 7 days for my delivery because they lied about coming to my house. The worst customer service I've experienced in forty years. My recommendation is go to another place to buy something that doesn't use lying deceitful delivery services. I have reported them to the BBB of Greater Kansas City, and KCTV5. I've also filed a formal complaint with Corp. Lowes. I don't expect any results but if it helps hold them accountable it was worth a try.
FatKat MOTO: Update. 5/31/23This Memorial Day sales I seen Home Depot has a propane 3 burner for $99. Then I seen academy sports different brand for $99. I thought, let's check out Lowe's because that's where I go!.. yet no sale. Disappointed. Iv been also wanting patio furniture and seen home Depot had a bench for $40. Lowe's has one for $140.. maybe I should start going to home Depot 😕____________I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot. Sure they don't have Milwaukee tools. But I'm not a fan boy. So that's ok.. Also easier to get a credit card here then Home Depot. 🤷

Caezar L: There is a lady in painting that she took a peak at the sticker of paint that I was trying to reorder and she memorized the whole number and even while talking with another customer, she entered the numbers to get the paint I needed, at one point I thought this is impossible she will come back to look at it again but she didn't. I had to acknowledge that and let her know how good she is.

That is long way for a handicap person.▪︎They do have several handicap parking spots out from of the store, which is a nice change for alot if stores.

He was obviously busy but upon seeing me asked if I needed help. This young man exceeded my expectations of the usual careless employees I often encounter when shopping other stores. He cut my blinds to size and showed me how to install them to which I had no idea.The management needs to know "Kevin" is an excellent employee and is a step above most others. Asher Brown: Well, here I am, posting my first ever negative online review. What can I say, this store brings out the worst in me.I went here Saturday evening to buy a tool battery for a project I was starting and needed immediately. Since it was Saturday night, there were very few customers in the store, and at least 5 red coat employees walking around on their own, not helping other people. I asked three different people if someone could unlock the battery case so I could get the battery and get out of there.The last person blankly said "no" when I asked if she had keys to unlock it. I then asked if she could call someone and she said "I mean I guess I could call the manager on duty..."Three people. Four overhead pages. Nobody ever came. I stood in tools by myself for a solid 20 minutes while multiple workers were walking around. Everyone ignored the pages. The manager on duty who was specifically paged twice never came. I pushed the "help" button in the tools aisle. It wasn't even hooked up.I'm an aging millennial who has nothing but empathy for customer service workers, and yet this was bad enough that I'm now that person complaining online.This was pathetic.I will obviously never go to this location again. The Shawnee Lowe's though? They're fantastic. Head there if you want to actually buy the things you need. If you want to stand helplessly next to the thing you want to buy while everyone who could open it for you ignores you and walks by, then this is the spot for you.TLDR: 0/10. Had a better time at the DMV.

Nick Kratz: Consistently the worst customer service of any lowes I go to. Every employee at this location seems to be in reverse. They are beyond slow, unresponsive, don’t know where anything is or how to be efficient when checking people out—especially at the Pro desk. Those employees seem to be less capable than the others which seems backwards. Always a long wait for simple things to be done, never anyone helpful around and absolutely no hustle whatsoever. Super frustrating, but it’s a necessary evil for proximity when a project is very close to this location—that may need to change.

Kylie: This home depot actively, willingly and consciously kills animals and birds in cruel ways.In the garden center, they have netting along the ceiling to prevent birds from nesting. The birds can get inside this netting, but cannot get out. I have witnessed a bird starving to death up there and panicking for a way out. This is extremely upsetting for me and others to witness, not to mention needlessly cruel.There was also a nest of baby birds that were sitting in a Shrub outside and our team of vendors set it aside and kept an eye on it, making sure it wasn't taken or sold. The next day the nest was gone. I believe someone in the home depot team took the nest and killed them while we were gone.I don't know what it is with this home depots management, but how are you going to have a garden center and then get upset when something that is apart of nature comes along? I would much rather see happy, chirping birds than starving and dying birds in a garden center, and i'm sure most others would agree.Your handling of this is extremely cruel and upsetting. Every single life is sacred.

They left the cabinets open and the box every where on the floor.

When they arrived they were super professional and they were nice enough to tell me that the fridge I ordered would not fit in my kitchen properly and they were able to take it back for me. I appreciated their honesty rather than they just setting it up and leaving!!

Collin Smith: Audrey helped me load a lot of soil and mulch tonight, she was very helpful and friendly even though it was close to closing time. I appreciate how she did it all, and I would give her a raise, she's worth keeping around. Also the girl at customer service, I didn't catch her name, but she was very kind and even said she'd help load it herself if she could leave her register. 10/10, I will be back, and if I was in charge I'd give both of these kids a raise. They helped me above and beyond what I'd expected or hoped for especially an hour before close. Both of them went above and beyond, if you want to keep them working for you, I'd be giving them raises. I don't work for your company, I don't know what you can do, but PLEASE do the best you can for those girls. Their kindness and help made a world of difference to me, and I hope you use it as grounds to make a difference for them.

Jeff Downing: Always frequent this location and enjoy coming to this location. I typically always find what I am looking for and more. I don't understand why a drivers license is needed for returns, but I do not return a lot of items. I also despise having to ever scan my drivers license for anything, I wish you would stop this requirement to then use the instore credit. I also wish you would match Menards 11% when they have the promotion active.
lynda toncray: We had a difficult experience w/the third part delivery system. However, we were MORE than pleased w/the help from Paulie..he patiently handled a VERY frustrated lady & hung in there w/me until we finally took delivery 8 days after the promised date. The dryer could not be connected b/c the soft vent included in the delivery pkg was WAY too short!! I want to especially praise Shane. He went above & beyond to see that our delivery & installation were completed . He explained what he was doing as he went along & double checked the installation to see there would be no more glitches. Although it was not his current position, he did all of that AFTER his shift while maintaining a very pleasant, professional attitude! Kudos, Shane…

Sydney Furth: We ordered a dishwasher and had the worst experience. We received absolutely 0 updates, when I called to ask for updates I was told that someone would call me back and they never did, and they were no help when it came to getting in contact with the third party who does their installation. If you want a horrible experience, order from this store. Otherwise I’d take your business elsewhere.

Marissa Holmes: The pot holes at this location are ridiculous. I was outside walking to my car with a shopping cart. The cart got stuck in a pot, hit both my legs, cut my pants and broke skin. The other leg bruised. A kind gentleman in the parking lot was gathering carts and asked me if I was okay. I went back inside the store to customer service and asked Sunny if I could speak to a manager. She paged a manager, but no one ever came. She said the manager is in the back. Keep in mind blood is running down my leg. It’s absolutely unacceptable the lack of attention and maintenance this store has. The manager and corporation should be embarrassed. I’m in my 30’s. I can’t help but think of older people or senior citizens that have already experienced or will experience what I encountered this morning. The pain is awful.
