Cecelia Harris: I found this gem on a recent trip to Kansas City. Zoolee has an amazing amount of knit fabrics in her store, along with some modern quilting cottons and scads of completed garments hanging about. Zoolee's store is in the basement of her home, but don't let that keep you away. Zoolee is a gracious host who gave me lots of time to peruse her wares without any hovering. I can't wait to return after I sew up the stack of fabrics I brought home with me this time!

Beth Gasimalla: Kansas City Sewing Academy was amazing! My daughters soccer team had a team building party to make door signs for an upcoming tournament and everything was so organized and fun for the girls! The signs were adorable and the girls had a great time.

Megan Brown: My 9 year old daughter LOVES Mindy’s class and I love that she is learning a lifelong skill. The atmosphere is so fun and inviting! She knew nothing about sewing, and is now creating things with her sewing machine all of the time. I would definitely recommend Kansas City Sewing Academy to anyone looking for a fun, creative outlet for their kiddos.

Cortney Olsen: We love Kansas City Sewing Academy! Quality sewing lessons. Small group setting for plenty of one on one instruction. Both my girls started a few months ago and they have already made night gowns, character pillows, stuffed animals, and starting on new projects. They follow a sewing curriculum with projects they get excited to make. Love the instructor as well. Very personable and cares so much for the kids and the art of sewing.

Penny Richley: Wanted to enroll in the 30 week program and was told its is now 52 weeks long. Nothing shows the increase! Would be told classes were full when they weren't.
