Upcycle Piano Craft: what do users think?
wendolyn dixon mills: Wonderful.
Dorothy Robinson: Great evening of Good Music, friendly , liked minded people, beautiful setting among world class Pianos! Will certainly add it to my schedule. Thanks
Jerry Nevins: Went in on a Sunday with the kids and they were in heaven. Owners were fabulous and very kind and patient as my son and daughter found the piano that worked best for them. Highly recommend checking them out. Wide range of prices and terms to help most budgets.
Tan Nguyen: What a gem. Loved the new setup and atmosphere. So many unique pianos to choose from. We’ve used multiple services over the years. They host an uplifting event monthly as well.
Jacqueline Chyr: Wonderful selection of pianos, extremely friendly staff!! 10/10!
Thomas Burk: Bought an Electric Piano here and couldn’t be happier. They took my budget and needs into account and didn’t try to sell me more than I needed. Also an excellent selection of books to learn from, with the ability to order others when I’ve needed.
Kristine Overman: Absolutely worst experience of my life. I have been a professional musician for over 10 years and a piano owner for longer, and have never had such horrible service. If you live anywhere other than a house with a designated first floor it seems they will refuse you service even after the contracts are signed and the money given!! Elitist practice if you ask me. Worth buying a new piano with an actual gallery who will know how to move them and not discriminate against apartment dwellers.
Allison Oates: Upcycle Piano Craft is amazing! The people are professional, friendly, helpful, and excellent to work with. I can't speak highly enough of them!
Stephanie Petersen: Located at Westport road and Main, This brick front piano store is absolutely beautiful. Dozens of pianos, accessories, benches, and they also do tuning. It is best to come up behind the store at 3942 Walnut, as there is ample safe parking and an entrance from the back.I was looking for a piano bench to match my 1968 upright Baldwin, and Anna and Stephen we're absolutely wonderful in finding multiple choices for me to look at. I was able to call them ahead of time and send them photos so they could look through their back inventory of abandoned benches and pull some for me.This place is so much fun, lots of amazing pianos and great ambience. I can't wait to bring my son back here so that he can explore and chat with the owners. This is the best piano shop I've ever been to - And I am dying to have a bathroom vanity made out of a piano now.
Victoria Weiss: The service was AMAZING!!! The pianos where in great shape and nicely priced!
Brant Jester: Upcycle moved my piano and they we’re fantastic! Upcycle was quick to set me up for a moving time, very affordable, and very careful and diligent in the moving process. I trust Upcycle for any piano purchase, tuning, repair, or moving needs. Go check out their store if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed!
Lisa Gotfredson: I recently purchased a piano from Upcycle Piano Craft and I had a great experience. They really cared about making sure that I had the right piano for my needs and they went out of their way to locate the piano I wanted. They're extremely knowledgeable about the pianos they sell and they're professional and prompt in the transactions and delivery. Thanks Ann, Steve, and the rest of the crew. I love my new piano!
James Arts: What a great experience having Steve take care of the issue we were having with our Yamaha Enspire piano. A professional and a gentleman. We highly recommend Upcycle, you will not be disappointed.
Reni Karanevich: I am very happy with my piano purchase from Upcycle Piano Craft. Anne and Steve arranged for a special delivery ahead of a storm this weekend. Piano arrived safe and sound. Superb customer service. 5 stars!!
ashlea black: The team at Upcycle Piano was wonderful to work with! They have a great selection of brands, types and price points and have only the best quality! Their delivery was quick and they took great care of the instrument and my home! I couldn't be happier with my experience or piano!
Mark Schmidtberger: These guys are great! Steve, the technician, was extremely knowledgeable regarding our Disklavier piano. Their staff did a great job setting up appointments and follow up. The disklavier player was broken for over ten years because no one knew how to fix it. Steve was able to fix and upgrade our player - it works great!!!! So glad we found these guys!
Green Lady Live: Excellent!
Alex: We had a wonderful experience here at Upcycle. Steve and Ann were so knowledgeable and friendly. Very generous folk who love music. Anyone with a passion for playing has a place here.
Michael Nigro: It is impossible to overstate what a great partner the team at Upcycle Piano Craft can be for you. Steve is extremely knowledgable and can not only move and tune your piano, but can bring his years of expertise as a technician to help you get the most out of your instrument. At the same time, Ann does a great job scheduling appointments and doing some of the fine work in making the pianos look their best. It's a great place with great people, and I can't say enough about Upcycle Piano Craft!
Nancy Mulford: Professional, courteous and kind, they delivered my Steinway grand piano with the utmost care in a warm and friendly manner at a very reasonable rate. I will use them again.
Steve Mulford: Awesome company to work with. Fairly priced and efficient. Consumer friendly. Use these folks. You'll be glad you did.

All Keyed Up Piano Shop: what do users think?
Liyi F: We were just browsing during First Fridays and enjoyed our little visit. It was wonderful seeing all the pianos and we even got to hear one of the player pianos.
Iamme Me: I called here in hopes of repairing a key that was sticking. Steve was wonderful! He was so quick to help me and was very efficient with my repair. He’s super friendly and very clearly explains issues and what he will for repairs. His prices are extremely reasonable and I’ll definitely be using his services again, I had a great experience and am very happy with my repair.
Cecilia Weigel: This shop helped us get a piano nicer than I ever dreamed I could have. It looks and sounds like a dream. Everyone was friendly and supportive. I definitely recommend All Keyed Up.
Monica Rush: Steve came highly recommended for piano tuning and repair work. Long story short, after the heartbreak of finding my piano not worth the repairs needed (cracked harp etc) I found myself in need of a replacement. After I told Steve my needs, wants and budget he showed me what he had. I didn't find one I loved right away. He said his inventory changes and something would come available. There was NO pressure from him or his staff! They all chided the same thing: be patient and you will find just what you're looking for. I did and I didn't have to wait long!! My awesome piano exceeds my expectations! Thank you so much Steve for your patience!!
Gretchen Meitler: What a find!!! We have been looking and talking about buying a piano for our children for a little over a year. We wanted to be sure they were vested prior to investing. Steve and his team had the best reviews and a variety of pianos to choose from.Extremely knowledgeable, laid back, no pressure experience. We will return! Keep your eyes open when arriving as they are on the 3rd floor of the old central bag building! Park wherever you can find a spot and be prepared for an experience you would never expect! If you need a piano of any kind, you have to check out All Keyed Up!!Thank you again and until the next time.
Amber Cairns: The selection of pianos was amazing. Steve was extremely helpful. We were able to find a great piano, plus Steve offered to help us load it ourselves so we could save money! I would highly recommend this shop!
Max Groove: Outstanding place to shop and get a great piano, organ....
Monica Freeborn: Bob was so awesome and looked up the serial number for the pianos we were looking at to tell us the age, gave us the history on the specific piano company, explained how you know if they keys are real ivory, and showed our daughter an amazing old nickel piano with a built in snare drum & tambourine! We ended up picking a 100 year old piano and can’t wait to make memories!
David Olsen: Location was easy to find. They had a lot of piano options in all sizes and price ranges. Steve was very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a great place to buy a piano if you are looking for a used piano.
Drew Templeton: Steve and the boys at All Keyed Up hooked me up with a Wurlitzer fallboard that slides out and covers the keys of our spinet so the cat can't jump on it and play us an original tune at 3am. Mine originally had the keys always exposed but Steve went to his boneyard of pianos-for-parts and found a functional sliding fallboard in an identical color.I am a general contractor with a garage full of tools which was definitely required for modifying the new fallboard and piano enough to make them work together, but after a few rounds of trial and error its working great! Can't thank Steve enough for finding this for me mere days after the request, letting me pick it up without him there, and then venmo him later for the balance. I highly recommend this shop!
Kara Babb: All Keyed Up is definitely a Labor of Love! The available merchandise is unbelievable from new to antique. I felt comfortable putting my piano on consignment, which needed some repair and TLC.Steve Waters went above and beyond and was able to sell quickly. Great guy and fabulous service! Highly recommend!
Josh & Mone' Taylor: Our experience buying a piano with All Keyed Up was actually very fun and informative! We spent several hours with Mr. Stout learning about the player pianos he had. We got both historical lessons and instructional lessons on the pianos. He is so knowledgeable about the history and mechanics behind them. I honestly could have spent another day listening to all his wisdom. Mr. Waters made the transaction easy and both have checked up on us to make sure our piano was delivered and all is well. I would for sure recommend this place to anyone interested in buying a piano! They have a huge selection to choose from!
Stephanie Muttschall: I really loved this shop! They have pianos galore and you can play them all! They have them in all different price ranges and for all levels of skill. I really enjoyed how all of the pianos were unique and already had established character and a story to tell. The staff fully answered all of our questions and provided recommendations for insured piano movers as well as guaranteeing that any pianos sold would be fully serviceable.
Liam McCarroll: Steve is the best piano technician I know, and all of his students are also exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. This is also the perfect place if you're looking to purchase; the selection and prices are incomparable, and the technicians can help you to understand exactly what you're getting with each instrument.
Paul Theobald: Mick and Steve are very helpful and accommodating. Loved their passion and All Keyed Ups mission. Highly recommend if you are in the Kc area looking for a reliable piano with character and a story.AKU does not move pianos themselves(at the time of my purchase) but they have a great recommendation list that saved me a lot of time looking for reliable movers.
John Hiram Fargo: Service by Steve Waters was swift and excellent. Thanks, Steve!
cara: We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with All Keyed Up Piano Shop. At first Nate was readily willing to research how to fix an old and improperly functioning organ that had been out of service for years. He was the first one in town I had found willing to do that. He also was very patient waiting for me to get him the necessary info to conduct his research. While he was waiting, he came upon an organ that was in full working order, that he simply donated to us for my son. Music is an incredible outlet for my son, who had been begging me for a very long time to get the old organ fixed. So the gift of the new-to-us organ, in top-notch condition, even better than the old one we were trying to fix, and including the bench, was a quality that far surpassed anything we could have dreamed of providing for our son. When the truck pulled up to deliver the organ, my son said “I’m so excited, my shoes flew off!“We are amazed at the attentiveness and excellent customer service we have received from start to finish, from a business that we have never actually even been in or met the people face-to-face. Nate always answered the phone when I called. We are absolutely blown away by the thoughtfulness of a business that would provide such high customer service, and not even receive a single dime from us.That’s good people, and good business.
Jim Boydston: Thank you for your help on this. These square grand flanges are perfect replacements for me. This was my replacements on them.
Our Stories Video: Great customer service from Steve! He was able to give our almost 100 year old piano a new life! So pleased! Would highly recommend!
Adam Purdon: The 3rd floor of this West Bottoms building is one of my favorite rooms in all of Kansas City. I get excited about pianos and when you put dozens and dozens of them of all kinds in a big open room it makes for a truly wonderful experience. Each one of them is a rescue and has its own story to have finally ended up here. I recently purchased a console piano shortly after the start of quarantine in March. Steve helped me pick one that suited my needs for the space I had, my skill level, and the aesthetic that was important for me. The price was very reasonable and worth every hour I have spent on it over the past several months. This is certainly not the last piano I will be purchasing from All Keyed Up.
ben eisiminger: As a Professional Pianist and Technician I can’t recommend this place enough. Quality instruments in every price range and the staff is as good as it gets! No typical salesman tactics and I felt comfortable browsing as long as I wanted testing their large selection of makes and models.

Kawai Piano Gallery Kansas City: what do users think?
Graeme Cruickshank: Got a great deal on a GS30. Great staff, good prices.
WEI-KE LAHMEYER: If you're in the market for a new Kawai piano, give Kawai Piano Gallery Kansas City a stop, they have a large selection for every price range and every size. I had the pleasure of meeting Jacob, very knowledgeable with great customer service! I am thrilled now to have a beautiful piano at home! I'd highly recommend this business!
Priyanka Luthra: I'm a beginner piano student and I came to kawai gallery looking for guidance on what piano would best suit my needs , and I couldn't have asked for anyone more helpful and informative as Lee Crouse. He was very encouraging and demoed the piano beautifully and helped me pick the right piano for me. He also helped us with moving the heavy piano to my car! He provided me with information on where I could learn to play, I'm absolutely loving to learn and appreciate music and I am so glad there was a kawai gallery close to where I am with such helpful staff.
P. Wilkerson: Lee Crouse met me the day I decided to purchase a piano. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, opened the piano I selected and explained the quality that was built into it. He sat down and played beautifully. It was clear to me that Lee believes in the joy that the music from a fine instrument gives it's listener.
Daniel Wortman: Nice place. Great place to shop for pianos. They have nice products and a very friendly staff. Very clean and very professional.
Robby Lund: We bought an ES 110 digital piano, had a great experience and are happy with our purchase.
Jeff Arnall: Went in to buy an ES110 but Lee Crouse showed me a KDP120 that was on sale which came with built in stand and seat, but an even better sound than the ES110. All told, only cost an extra $300 when taking into consideration that I would have to buy a separate stand and seat with the ES110.Great deal, and very pleased with the service and advice from Lee. Also lots of beautiful acoustic pianos in the store too.
Shawn Morkert: We inherited a very precious family Baby Grand piano. It needed several repairs and love. This piano Gallery referred us to Dylan who came into our home and spent several several hours going over the piano, literally one key at a time. It has never looked so good or been in this kind of condition. He restored her beauty and brought her back to life. Thank you all for your professionalism and care!
Rahsaan “Butchy” Foster: Inviting. The customer service experience I am of those individuals that have embraced a skill and the passing on of those traditions that set the industry and the standards, really high. Thanks Gentlemen.
AK GHZT - WRHYDTAR: People were showing theyre skill in there
Vonda Powell: Not only does Kawai craft an exquisite piano, but their new gallery in Kansas is breathtaking! From the moment you enter the doors, you're swept into the beauty of music, transcending words. If you are a lover of music or curious about owning a piano, I cannot recommend them enough! Spend some time with Lee Crouse. Personable, kind and knowledgeable. Enjoy this new incredible landmark in the KC Metro! ❤🎶❤

Meyer Music: what do users think?
Sheryl Matteson: very professional and works well with young people
Jeff Julian: Graham was very helpful. Wonderful place!
Brenda: Quick and Helpful Staff!!!
Jennifer Silvey: I popped in just after 10:00am, I was the only customer in the store, and there were two staff members at the counter. Both of the staff members were on telephone calls when I walked in. I didn’t want to intrude and went ahead in picking out the book my kiddo needed for band. Both phone calls were wrapping up as I made my way to the counter and had concluded within a few moments of my reaching the register. Neither staff member acknowledged me when I walked in (I can forgive that since they were on the phone), and neither acknowledged me at the counter while I stood waiting to have them ring up the sale. A minute or two later one of the two staff members rang up the book, she still never said a word to me except to tell me the total amount due. As I was getting my money out of my wallet, I asked a question about the best way to get my youngest started with the snare drum because that is what she wants to play. The staff member said “I’m not sure what you mean-we don’t sell snare drums and I’d suggest you go with the hand bells.” The staff member then repeated the total due.I really put an honest effort into buying local and supporting local businesses. I will not give Meyer Music anymore of my business. The staff came across as curt and frankly made me feel as though it was vexing for her to have to ring up my purchase. The staff here weren’t inviting, seemed to lack in customer service skills, and made me feel less than welcome.I purchased the rest of the items my kiddo needed from Amazon.
B. W: Had issues with scheduling of our lessons and the customer service level with the women at this store. Were told when we signed up if we had an issue with the scheduled time we would be worked with to reschedule the lessons we paid for. Well, things happen and despite letting them know in advance (even when our son was extremely ill) she refused to even try and allow us to reschedule and not lose money. Essentially were (rudely/with and attitude) told we would just have to cancel/forfeit because they were too busy - so if your kid get COVID better take them anyhow! We have opted to remove him and go elsewhere for lessons.
Traci: I am super upset and disappointed with this establishment!! We have bought one violin from here, and went in to buy another one today. The lady working the desk was rude as heck. I asked to talked to the manager, she wouldn’t get up from behind her desk, because she had to finish her meeting. I am totally fine with taking our business somewhere else.
delta sriracha: Clean and organized, with a lot of lesson books, but not very many piano books besides. Very limited selection of classical music (especially above the modified “simple piano” level.)
Joshua Fillingham: Solid shop and a friendly staff.
Firooz Basri: We love going to Meyer Music. My 10 year old son is learning piano and even though he is a kid who prefers video games, he told me “I really like going to piano lessons.” That made my heart happy. Meyer is very affordable and convenient and my son loves his instructor. We were even able to do a few of the classes virtual when he was sick and I didn’t want to take him in. I highly recommend taking your child there!!!
Hazel Miller: Kyle was very helpful with my order today.
Tate Fisher: Kyle was incredibly friendly and helpful!
Aaron Rearick: Meyer music has great customer service! They know how to deal with your situation when you describe it to them!
Maria Acosta: Great teachers and staff.
Anna: I took lessons here for a few years. It’s a very dull place and it feels like no one is excited to be there. The instructors are not personable (I took lessons for multiple instruments) and hard to talk to. Customer service is ok. They do try to sell you overpriced items but I guess that’s typical for any store these days. I wouldn’t recommend this place to take lessons for any instrument.
Kathy Williams: I buy all my religious piano music through Meyer Music. If they dont hVe it they will order it.HVe Lways been pleasant and profeasional. Recommend? Of coutse! A big yes!
Jennifer Koch: Great customer service. Teachers take the time to personalize music instruction for each of my kids.
Joe Lysaght: Professional, courteous, & extremely efficient! Even though I live an hour away, I will most definitely return for all of my music needs. Thank you!!!
Jodi Dunfield: We have been coming to Meyer Music for piano lessons for five years now, and we are very happy with our teachers and our results! I am an adult student who started in my late 40's, and my son started at age 16, and we both are very excited with our progress and depth of knowledge we have gained! We purchased a Yamaha studio piano, led by the expertise and guidance of the Meyer employees and the voice and beauty of the piano is wonderful. They also helped another family member purchase a Yamaha digital piano that was affordable and came with the stand and bench. Lastly, we have purchased a lot of different kinds of piano sheet music to add to our personal library and Meyer has been able to locate and provide individual sheet music as our needs and interests changed. We are super happy and highly recommend Meyer Music!
Bethani Lukens: Super friendly staff!
Brandy Wheeler: My son took lessons for several years l..we were very pleased with our experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The lesson prices were very affordable.
Margaret Vaughn: I have taken clarinet lessons at Meyer Music for six years. My instructor while caring and compassionate strives for perfection. She is an accomplished musician. The employees at the Kansas City North location are always helpful and accommodating. Look no farther than Meyer Music for private music lessons.

BAC Music Center of Kansas City: what do users think?
Robert Hanford: I rarely take the time to write a review, but I just wanted to share with other trombonists the superlative level of craftsmanship taken to tune-up my trombone. Although it was only the standard service, the horn looks and plays like new. Well done!
Russell Morgan (The Morgan8ter): Going here was a dream of mine for many years. I made an appointment with them so we can go through a few trombone options. I didn't want to show up unannounced. This ensured they had several instruments for me to try. B.A.C. assisted me in creating a unique trombone. Also system b to sell my old block 42 K valve on consignment. If you're looking for a unique professional instrument, this is the must to go place.
Jay Swearingen: Bought my daughter an upgraded Trombone. The staff is super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I spent about as little money as I could have spent, but they treated me the same as if I had bought a $2000 instrument.
Chris Elder: Over the past 2 years, Kevin Stiles restored and provided customized finishes on 3 of my horns. The level of detail and customer service exceeded my expectations to my small collection. I highly recommend Kevin and his restoration team if you're looking to restore your horns. Well worth the investment.
Jim Gibson: Very nice, everyone very smart about there instruments
Katherine Frandsen: Just an amazing experience. I took my 18 year old grandson in to select a new trombone because he's leaving for college. We went down to the factory store near the Paseo. The staff was so professional. Assisted him with his selection. Allowed him to play lots of varied instruments. Wanted him to have a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough great things about our experience!
Triggers & Trumpets: I love the staff and the selection! Great people to deal with, with some of the best prices I have ever seen for a music store! I especially recommend for trumpet and trombone players because of the range from beginner to handmade BAC instruments! My next trumpet will definitely be from this store!!!!🎺
Tracey Loewe: Incredibly nice employees! It's been 40+ years since I've played a horn, they set me up and serviced my horn without making me feel dumb with my questions.
Chandra S Ganne: Nice and friendly people. The staff is very good and they do repairs only when needed and not like other stores. I buy my stuff here and rent here. The best store in Overland Park.
Todd Schott: Broken instrument...they can fix it.
Danny Lovell: If you are a pro/student who needs quality repairs or modifications, this place is for you. Mike and his team are THE BEST! If you are someone who just needs a convenient place to buy supplies, you may be able to find them online cheaper. Worth a stop either way.
Tina Anguish: I brought in our Grandfather's flute and piccolo for researching the heirloom pieces. Staff were so helpful and knowledgeable and even played them; it was as if Grandpa was there. What a delightful group of people. They gave me information regarding the pieces which was very useful as I had no documentation. Thank you!! Truly a Gem of a Place!
Paulzer B: These guys definitely know what they're doing, and the proof is in their trombones!
Marcos Roa: Muy buena atención te ayudan mucho
Patrick Morgester: Amazing service amazing prices(15$ 2nd hand clarinet mouthpiece brand new condition)
Grant Lisec: We worked with Chacko in the store when we were shopping for bass trombones. I can’t say enough good about the staff, selection, and experience I had. Wish I could give 6 stars
Rachel Dickensheets: Very professional. Helped me with a problem with my son's saxophone. Got a real answer.
Noey: good place i like it
Patrick Beesley: I brought in a bass trombone that was in sorry shape and they gave it new life. Super helpful staff, reasonable rates and competent workmanship keep me coming back.
Steve Galimi: I just wanted to say how great BAC is. Especially Kevin Stiles. He took a 40 year old trombone slide and made it new. He took care time with his craftsmanship to revive my horn. I would Recommend BAC for any musical repairs. I was also was told by others their instruments are top Quality. Thank you Kevin for caring.
A Hurley: Great service and prices.

It features a magnificent 9-foot Steinway piano, which is maintained to the highest standards and provides a remarkable experience for the listener. The hall also serves as a fitting venue for music competitions, with the Steinway piano sponsorship adding to the allure of the competition.During my visit, Jonathan provided exemplary customer service, going beyond expectations to ensure my experience was enjoyable and informative. Their passion and expertise in music were apparent, and they took the time to understand our needs and preferences, providing me with excellent guidance in selecting the perfect piano.Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Steinway Gallery Kansas City to anyone looking for a piano. The quality of the instruments and the exceptional customer service provided by Jonathan and the rest of the team make it an unrivaled destination for musical instruments. Thank you for providing us with an unforgettable experience.
Michael Brown: Our high school was gifted a grand piano, and Jonathan Dickinson helped us navigate the process of choosing the right piano for our facility. He made the process enjoyable, was available to answer any questions I had, and was patient with our school. I will continue to use Steinway KC for our piano needs in the future.
TV Xyooj: We went in about 15 minutes before they closed and meet the kind owner Gordon McNelly. He was so gracious with us and let us play on pianos way outside of our price point. The Steinway Spiro Gordon showed was a beautiful model. I told him we couldn’t afford it but he showed us the amazing Spiro by showcasing Lang Lang performance via the iPad television connection. This store definitely deserves a visit if you love pianos. Thank you Gordon.
Tim East: I cannot fully express how wonderful the owners have been during my search to find the right piano for me and my family. We worked mainly with Jonathan and found him to be fabulous to work with. I had countless questions which he answered completely never making me feel awkward or uncomfortable. One of my adult daughters accompanied me on our first visit to the gallery. She is a piano teacher and brought a lot of music. During the visit Jonathan played a lovely piece my daughter did not have but really loved. Jonathan provided a copy of the music during the visit. On our second visit, my youngest daughter came and was put at ease as we narrowed our selection. We were very blessed to be able to find a pre-owned upright Steinway which I had always thought would be a dream that would remain unrealized. Thanks so much for one of the best customer experiences I have ever encountered. I know I will love the new to me Steinway.Tim
Allyson Adrian: My experience was quite positive. We came to play pianos and felt no pressure to do anything other than enjoy ourselves as we played a variety of grands and uprights. The piano we selected has the most beautiful sound in all registers. Jonathan was very helpful and a delight to work with. I appreciated the professionalism of the movers and that our purchase includes tuning once the piano is in our home. I was happy with our chosen instrument in the store, but it is even better now at home. And I can't say enough about the service. Very glad we came into the store.
Rahsaan “Butchy” Foster: The Gallery is a Professional Gallery and it's for the love and prideful. Thank you Gentlemen for a wonderful service in our community.
Susan Merdinger: Great Selection of the World's Best Piano! The new Steinway Spirio technology is cutting-edge and unbelievable- you have to see it and hear it to believe it. More importantly, this store is headed up by the two nicest people! Gordon McNelly has been with Steinway Pianos for years and years and is hands down the most knowledgable Steinway piano salesperson you will ever meet, because he actually worked in the Steinway factory in Queens! The Steinway Model D Concert Grand in their showroom is gorgeous- I only dream of playing on a piano like this every day of my life! I already own three Steinway pianos and am a Steinway Artist, so I know what I am talking about!
Aaron Van Noy: Good selection of mid to high-end pianos. The focus was on grand pianos, but there was a smattering of “budget” upright pianos as well. They have a lovely grand piano for a sticker price of $180,000.00. We are not the correct demographic but we were greeted, but overall ignored.

Luyben Music: what do users think?
Marie Chapdelaine: AWDOME!! Called for a question and she missed it and she called me back! Never have I ever had a store call me back super nice couldn't help me with my question but suggested a few places that could help me.
Arthur Embry: This is an open by appointment music store. Wasn't what I was looking for but that was googles fault. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction
Steve Plowman: Great place. They have a good selection of nice guitars and gear.
Sarah Meyer: Called to order a piece of sheet music. Was greeted in friendly manner and transferred to appropriate department. Gentleman answered promptly, quickly confirmed availability of the piece, and courteously took my mailing & billing information. I received the music in good condition - no bends, folds or tears - within the week.Good customer service, will order from again.
Cassandra: This is the place to go for sheet music. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Know that most of the piano music is behind the desk, so best to have an idea of what you are looking for before going. They were extremely helpful in making suggestions and I got exactly what I needed. :)
Phillip Pyatt: Luyben is great. The staff go out of their way to make recommendation and helo with selections.
Pepper: The parking is in the rear of the building and the drive back ghere is pretty rough. Then, the doorway to the place is on the side of the building...which means you walk on that rough driveway. Once inside its a tiny little place with very little to offer. The proprietor wasn't rude, but he was condescending. I won't go bsck.
Brady Wolff: Amazing store, owners are super helpful!
Jennifer Wolff: They are amazing and very helpful. If they don't have it in stock they can get it for you.
Michael Dubreuil: Helpful staff
Michael Gordon: This is a fantastic local music shop. Go buy things from them! They have EVERYTHING.
Charles Pridgen: There are few stores left like Luyben Music in the US. A place loaded with sheet music and music knowledge. Annette Luyben and Rich Coble have a long history in the music scene of Kansas City and and cheerful and ready to help. If there is a piece of music you are looking for this is the place to go.
Grace Kohan: I wish the owner would fix the driveway for his customers. It would encourage me to go there more often.Soon there won't be a need for a music store as everything is changing to online including lessons.
Rita Young: Always helps me find what I need.
Kevin Vanwicklin: Mean people. Overpriced.
Margreta Forster: They really don't sell instruments but they do sell old records and cds etc.
marcus v: This is the kind of music store we used to have in my town... And I've been looking for one like it for so long! I got there right before close but i could have spent hours just going through the stacks!! They have music for all levels and all occasions... Instructional, easy piano, classics, classical, jazz, easy listening, oldies, pop... Just everything i could have wanted!! Highly recommend! And I'll definitely be back there next time I'm in KC!! Thank you Luyben music!
David G: The place for piano sheet music.
Julie Weaver: Lots and lots of music to explore!
Leslie White: If you need some sheet music quick, even if it may be one that’s hard to find elsewhere, chances are good that you’ll find it at Luyben Music! We love this place :)
Greg Wright: They are the best. Shop there for years. Since high school 1974
