caleb mccormick: I called up asking if my laptop could be repaired it being a decent gaming device and unfortunately he could not repair it due to the parts not available through his vendors and how the manufacturer didn’t let the parts out, so i called back right before close and we talked for about 25 minutes and he went above and beyond to show me some comparable options i could buy within my budget and what specs i needed to keep gaming. i’ve been out in the westport area since 2013 and this business is still running strong he is very friendly and professional and no BS. I highly recommend them to anyone with any computer needs!

suncityinc: Describe my Experience.......... Well where do I begin. I have been working with Computers to Go since 1 year after they opened, So since 1987. This business has changed over the years. It is a small owner operated business that cares for it's customers. I run a small business and I have to admit it is hard to make everyone happy but I try and I know that Scott the owner of Computers tries to make his customers happy as well. He is not killing it by any means like big chain stores he is just making it happen and living day to day like most of us. You can tell this when you walk into his store. It's unique and he has everything from the junk bin to new computers. This business can fix your old computer or sell you a new one. The thing I like about computers to go is the way each computer sale or repair is catered to the individuals needs. I have purchased or had repaired over 24 computers over the last 29 years and Scott has always been straight forward with what needed to be done. 24 computers may sound like a lot but I have 7 of them running right now. When they break they get fixed or when out of date replaced fast. I always leave my old computer with him so he can sell for scrap or fix it up for someone who could use it knowing everyone has different needs. I usually am upgrading to make my computer as fast as it can be. I would name my experiences but there are too many to list so let me say that any thing and everything that can be fixed on a computer has been repaired at computers to go and if it could not be they were honest and gave me my options so I could decide for myself on what I should do. So I guess you could say I would Highly recommend Computers to Go!
Nancy Nguyen: BAD BUSINESS. The person who works here is a fraud. He will scam you and say that he can't fix your computer and then will go behind your back and fix it THEN try to sell it for a profit once he "thinks" you're not coming back to pick it up. Don't go here. You will be disappointed and waste your time and money.

Lewis Thompson: They did a FABULOUS “Same Day” repair job on my Apple iPhone.I came in with a Cracked Glass & Mohammed noticed that the Start Button needed to be changed as well.He changed that also.I got out of there, with my “Like New” iPhone 6Plus, for less than half of what another repair shop (in OP) had quoted me.* Even though this Shop is located in the River Market Section of KCMO, it has lots of free parking 🚗 right next to it.

Andy stood behind the sale and made things right - even though this was a manufacturer closeout and there was no warranty on the TV. Mansoor Mansi: We had an initial agreement of $60 for a diagnostic which I paid in cash upfront. He diagnosed the issue and tried to sell me an outdated piece of equipment as a replacement part. When I told him I found my own replacement part which was newer he demanded I pay an additional $30 before I could take my computer because he “needed money to eat”. I paid the additional $30 which was never agreed upon so I could get my computer back. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere for repairs as he might try to scam you aswell.

Ginger: On around the 25th or 26th of February I called Ntech because my laptop Was giving me a cooling fan error message that the system had detected… So, he comes and picks it up has it for about a week, was supposed to put a new fan in it but felt it wasn’t worth it so he sent it back to get his money back. All right so let’s fast forward to the following week, I pick up my laptop from him get home and try to power it up because I had some schoolwork to do well it didn’t turn on.... He did not tell me it wasn’t turning on. The only thing that worked was the power button was glowing. According to him it was a motherboard issue which OK if that’s the problem then why didn’t you further investigate And do all in your power to fix it and to let me know what the issue was that it wasn’t turning on so I could’ve let you know if I wanted you to continue working on it. I put my trust in this company to fix my laptop not give it back in inoperable condition but was turning on when I gave it to him.All of his reviews are so good. I don’t know if he’s discriminating because I’m disabled and don’t make tons of money but whatever the case may be it’s not cool at all that my laptop was turning on (granite with an error message) then I get it back and it won’t turn on . He can’t provide a diagnostic reading that tells what exactly happened... I’m not happy! I have classes that are strictly done online. So I had to scrounge up enough money from family to buy a new laptop so I can finish classes!!! Next time I have a computer issue I’m taking it to my dad! At least I know he knows what he’s doing and Well actually try to fix my computer not give it back to me in operable.

Vanilla Rice: Took my all in one desktop to have repaired because it wouldn't boot. I tried to repair it on my own, but couldn't figure it out. I had the hard drive replaced and windows 10 reinstalled. The repair was fast and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend these guys.

I bounce back and forth working from the office and working from home, so I was looking for 3 matching computer monitors so that I could have the same set up at home as I have at the office. Sure I could buy 3 brand new monitors and I knew that buying used I would not necessarily get the latest and greatest technology, but there are so many good used monitors out there that just need a good home, plus it was way more cost effective. There were 2 gentlemen working and they took great care of me. I told them exactly what I was looking for and they gave me just that and didn't try to oversell me something I didn't want. I ended up getting a great deal on 3 matching gently used 22" wide screen monitors and they also had the video cable connection adapters I needed. All 3 monitors came with their video cable and power cord which was included at no additional cost. They even hooked them up to show me that they work perfectly fine. I already have the monitors set up at home and ready to go. I got 3 monitors and connection adapters for the cost of what just 1 brand new monitor would have cost me. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I went to a lot of other used computer shops, but it was obvious most of their computers were simply reformatted and put up for sale.When I visited LaptopsKC I found that most of the computers I looked at had some sort of upgrade, whether it was more memory or an SSD instead of a traditional spinning hard drive.I found the perfect laptop for my needs here. For $175 I purchased a Dell laptop with a 4th generation i5, 8GB of memory, and an SSD, gigabit ethernet, and an extended battery. I have used this computer daily for the last 3 months and have had no problems.Finally, when purchasing this computer I was told that if any issues arise I should reach out to the shop first thing. It was a good feeling to know that I was buying a computer at a very fair price, and that if I did have problems I could simply contact the shop to find out what they recommend.
