BOB GRIFFITH: Made appointment a few weeks ahead of time for a fitting of some new clubs. Showed up and not sure who it was but without any measurements or even looking at my clubs he proceeded with a halfass lesson,I guess that’s what it was. After hitting maybe 10-15 balls with at least 3-4 interruptions I was told the clubs were fine. 40$ Having another reputable shop check the length of clubs they were right at 1 “ to long and shafts were not what a person my age normally uses. Must have interrupted this guys day as he couldn’t get my money fast enough and send me on my way ! Maybe just got the wrong person but found what I needed and this place won’t see my face again. They won’t be in business with people like this much longer !

Lance Gockel: Golf gloves 1/2 the price and last twice as long. Plus the gloves are more comfortable in that the fingers are longer and seams are positioned so they don’t get in terrace between club and your hand.
Travis Dawkins: Great selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the ability to test a wide range of clubs made the buying experience simple and enjoyable.
A Pantoja: I went in to shop around to compare some prices. Small but had so many items.
Galen Staggs: Outstanding service,friendly, professional, knowledgeable. This is the place to go to get fitted for golf clubs.
Charles Moore: I was in the store for 30 minutes, walking around and looking at the merchandise. No one, absolutely no one approached to offer help. I was told to come back again on my way out.
Robert Dillon: Update your hours, store does not open until noon on Sundays.
Daniel Scharf: The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Ask them anything! The turnaround on regripping clubs has been very fast in my experience. Their selection of women’s clubs is limited though but that’s something you’ll find with most shops around here.

andrew turner: Over the last year I have tried a few club fitters to try and dial in my clubs. Luke has been by far the best I have used, we’ve seen some great improvement in every club in bag in the few short months I have been going to Edwin Watts to see Luke. Even if it’s something as small checking the lies, lofts or even swapping grips out, Luke has always been professional and very helpful in explaining what he’s doing and how it will impact the golf game. 10/10 recommend Luke for fittings.

Doesn’t change that it happened but can’t say enough about Gordon and this shop in the way they made up for it. Mistakes happen, it’s how you fix them that makes or breaks a place. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Tyler K: To be honest at first I was very skeptical at getting my first golf fitting. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked through those doors, but my nervousness quickly disappeared once I got to talking to Kent.Kent’s attention to detail and customer satisfaction really made this a great experience for me. You can tell how passionate he is about his craft and really took the time to understand my swing and what clubs worked for me. He paired me to Mizuno JPX-923 forged irons (I absolutely loved them) and I am going back at a later date to finish my woods/driver. I 100% would recommend this to my friends and family. Don’t be shy about going if you are new to golf. Kent and his staff were aware of my monetary limitations and I never felt pressured to do anything I didn’t want to. Overall 5/5 stars, I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Club Champion and Kent for all your help, I am looking forward to finishing the rest of my bag with you guys!

We then went through about 11 shafts to find the one perfect for my mechanations. He doubled the spin rate on my 6 iron while increasing distance and accuracy. This was well worth the time and money. bobbert_63: This was my first fitting I’ve done. I was greeted by Jake the moment I walked in. I am from out of town and have never been inside anything remotely close to a fitting bay. The ambience made me feel that I was at the right place. With the latest equipment lining the walls, Jake promptly sat me down and asked how my golf game was going.Jake was very understanding and knowledgeable. He started with questions that narrowed down where my golf game needed help and offered to lightly go over fittings that were not a focal point. Our short but brief conversation gave me assurance that I was searching for.Soon after we went straight into iron fittings. That was where Jake started to illustrate his golf knowledge. From spin, distance, dynamic loft, attack angle, etc. I’m sure most of us watch tons of videos but having it said on a “ one on one “ session, was amazing. We then moved into drivers and after a few swings, Jake saw I was fatigued and suggested to do the putter fitting.I was surprised that club champion had the latest putters to test such as Evnroll, LAB, and the latest Scottie Cameron’s. To get a putter fitting with any putter that pleased your eyes, that in itself was worth the price of admission. Short but sweet, we went back to finish the driver fitting and even though I was not striking it the best, Jake suggested the best combination of shaft and head for me. Moving to the last part of the full bag fitting. Jake saw that my wedges and long irons produced the the same, if not better, statistics as newer clubs. This is a relief as I didn’t feel pressured to change a club in my bay that didn’t need it.Overall, The fitting process was exceedingly excellent. Jake was just the guy to talk to about golf. He was knowledgeable in every aspect and process in fitting me to better at my golf game. I would definitely be back if ever I was in the area for a refitting. The atmosphere and environment, encourages progression. Great job all !!!Jake…. Take a bow.

Brad Lewis: Kent Clodfelter is amazing. He's great when it comes to fitting clubs, but also just a great human being. He also is very knowledgeable about the game, and really can apply lots of intelligence when selecting proper clubs and shafts.
Scott Snow: I am extremely happy with my purchase so far!! In fact as I was playing recently, I thought to my self, this may be one of the best things I have ever done for my game. I learned a lot and was fitted strictly by the numbers. No bias to brand. Which is what I wanted, no bias. As a result I am hitting more pure shots than I did previously. Tyler did my fitting and Kent gave me some tips that have been very helpful. Highly recommend either of these guys to do your fitting.

Stephen Bergman: Highly recommend the whole bag fitting. Entire experience was awesome. Tyler does a great job. He really listened to what improvements I was after in my game and as we went the tweaks he made to the clubs made those a reality. The trackman provides impressive feedback and if you are serious about lowering scores, there is so much value in this process. You really should get clubs fitted to you versus stock off the shelves.
Daniel Laursen: As soon as the fitting was over and the transaction was completed, Kent seemed to be disinterested in customer service, despite paying a premium. My clubs got in ~8 weeks after the fitting which was expected. However, what was not expected was Kent giving my clubs to the wrong person. He told me to come on down and pick up the clubs, and when I showed up, he said “I gave your clubs to the wrong guy. Can you come back in a few hours?” There was no explanation or apology. 3 hours later he called me to let me know they had arrived. When I picked them up, all he said was “enjoy”. Again, no apology, no explanation, and no attempt to right a wrong. When you get fitted at Club Champion, they offer free loft/lie adjustments. It’s built into the price, but there’s no way I’m going back in to work with Kent after that. I’ll consider it a sunk cost. I wrote an email to club champion about 1 month ago to discuss the poor experience and there has been no reply.There are plenty of places around town where you can get fitted for clubs. I have plenty of friends that have gone to different places and are happy with the outcome. Club champion is a little more expensive and the customer service is essentially non-existent. Go elsewhere.
kyle vestal: I had such a great experience with Kent with my club fitting back in late 2020. I have received my P7MC irons and my whole bag of new clubs. He has helped me so much with my game/swing also! He makes time for me as I live 3 hours away to fit me into his busy schedule, weather open store early for me or whatever it may be he goes above and beyond to make my experience great!! Kent is such a great guy and has helped me so much by allowing me to use trackman to measure distances and again to help with my swing! I give Kent 5 stars for just being a very great guy!! I have a smaller head size and I'm a little picky on some of my gear.I used to have a friend who helped the owner, Bob, run the store. Walking in after not being in KC for the last 6 years.. it was like walking back into a familiar shop you could sit around and talk sports before the wife calls you to get back home.Staff seems a little new, but too be expected with the holiday season coming up. They are still just as friendly as they were in 2015.I tried to beat Bob up over the helmet price. He was very stuck on it. After going back and doing some more research, I came to the conclusion the extra 30 bucks I'd spend with a small business would be worth the comfort of knowing I got a quality product. I found a few cheaper on marketplace, but no one seemed to have any answered when I asked them about condition and use.I actually sent my friend back up to grab the lid for me. Bob helped her find it, made sure she was taken care of and even brightened up her day with a joke.If you haven't been in, make the trip, even if you don't find anything it's worth the time to just relive your past glory.

They provided top notch service and have a large selection at reasonable prices, so I plan to do my future disc shopping there.It is easy to find since it is basically next door to the original Oklahoma Joe's. Quintin Mueller: Went into try out a brand new Titleist 3 wood, had cowboy boots on, asked if I could use the cheapest shoe they sold to hit a few shots, gentleman laughed at us in our face and said “I’d prefer you buy them first.”Good job, lost a $350-$400 club sale, hitting a few shots in a $50 golf shoe!

Jhawker 35: Went in for an iron fitting at the Overland Park store and spent 30 minutes of the 1 hour session waiting for him in the back getting new irons for me to hit. I told him I knew i needed shaft extensions but he never measured me for it, instead he gave me an inch extension and told me that was the one for me. I didn’t get to try any other length. With just 3 swings off some plastic board he was able to determine my lie angle and shaft length. I then asked him if i needed stiff shafts or not. He told me my average club head speed was mid 80’s (which by their sheet 81-90 mph means you need stiff), but was told I need regular shafts. He had no interest in helping me get the right set for me and was only worried about getting the fitting over with. He treated me like I was wasting his time and that he had better things to be doing. I somehow feel like I know even less about what I need than I did going in. I would’ve been better off buying a random set of irons online and hoping for the best. Waste of $100.

When I told him d9 irons were not a box set he told me l would have better luck at Walmart. If I was playing low endClubs like that this wasn't the store for me.I agreed put the balls I was going to buy up and left. Wont be in there again c

Ryan Sexton: Place has to be the worse. If you don’t look like you got money and ask to hit something they going to look at you crazy and not let you hit. So I went ahead and bought my stealth 2 plus driver from golf md. Never going back to galaxy. Worse customer service known to man.

Kyle Henson: Went in for a scheduled fitting. Club fitter was running late and then proceeded to rush me through my swings to make up time. Would not answer any of my questions related to the fitting and was more interested in preaching golf ideology at me than getting me set up with the right equipment.

David Nelson: Disappointed in the staff at the Overland Park Golf Galaxy. Similar to Dick’s Sporting Goods they have sale items marked by colored dots. I picked out a pair of shoes marked with a pink dot which the signs in the store said take an extra 40% off but the staff wouldn’t honor it. I was told shoes aren’t apparel even though they had them marked.
Steve Nordquist: It's a 5.11 clothing shop now instead of a Golf Galaxy. Lots of black gray dark green and pumpkin colors, trigger discipline vibe, sales roll from product type to type.

la lechusa: Ordered a driver that locally has been hard to get. Staff helped me order and it was in my hands in less than 2 days! Only problem was the shipping store left the security tag on the shaft. Dan and staff at the Overland Park store quickly helped remedy the situation. So thank you very much. I will come back to this store for future needs.

J. Ryan Landry: Scheduled a fitting. 2 hours, 2 fittings for irons and clubs. Went to reschedule from 4 pm to an earlier time. Lady said “just come in” at noon. Next day- at noon, completely booked. Had to buy clubs somewhere else.
Ken Halford: Had a putter fitting, then purchased a putter. They take the price of the fitting off if you buy a putter. Really glad I bought this way, as I got a putter specific to my stroke.
