Nate's Swap Shop 63rd Street Drive-In: what do users think?
Guy Kohler: Great deals and lots of vendors.
Patti Smith: This is the best place to go to walk through garage sale items and plus stuff. People from everywhere come in to sell things everything under the sun is there and every week there's something different even if you go on a Saturday and again the next day you can find more things it's a lot of fun in my opinion if you enjoy garage sales anyways so check it out some weekend it's usually the only days that they are open unless a holiday they are open for some holidays. This swap n shop has been there for a long time it's outlasted drive in movies which is what this place used to be in business for.
a. fiascoinkc: Great deals, get there early
Ross Dalton: Any and every thing under the sun some one has it.
v. joann Gillespie: Okay I'm not trying to be ungrateful or mean. But I think nates need some TLC and clean up. I remember years back it was a really clean place and tons of vendors. Sunday was barely anything worth looking at. Not in less you were hungry there was plenty of food vendors. Clothing vendors not really worth going anymore. Please clean up the flea market and maybe it will have better results and vendors once again. Vendors should take their belongings back with them and not tarp them for the next week.
Craig Burnham: I am a vendor at Nate's Swap N Shop on 63rd and I would like for more people to come out and support along with experiencing the diversity of the swap and shop.
Matthew Proctor: Only thing I dislike is that people drive down the aisles instead of walking its just dangerous for kids and animals get place and great people
Julio Mireles: Variety of things you may be surprised what they have
chrystaldavidb: Large selection of deals to be had
Mitchell Cole: technically... I rate 3.75 stars in specific... fun experience as both seller or buyer.. I enjoy the laid back but hustle bustle....they need invest some pavetop improvements though... broken, jagged, & much of the area prone to sitting ponds of water after rainfall...
Daniel Rockefeller: Cool stuff to see and fun to haggle
Elena Aldana: Love this place except there bathrooms are nasty
Cecil Gibbs: Great deals
Karly Taylor: So much fun hunting for good deals.
Elliott Dean: Nowhere near as good as kck’s swap meet at the boulevard drive in.
Steven Hitch: Not the cleanest nor are the staff very friendly... Miss the OLD Nate's.
Mansel Swaney: Lots of great deals laundry soap so cheap
Zach Becker: You can find some good deals here. There are lots of vendors and the quality of the products varies greatly. Some sell brand new overstock items and others just set up a pile of junk you can dig through.
Robert Beitzinger: Raised admission to $1.50. enjoy walking around & looking what venders bring to sell. Son & wife won't go back with me because an employee scolded my son for bringing his husky puppy. It was on a leash & very good mannered & loves people. There was several people with dogs of all sizes there & my son told him so. He didn't care, just seen young boy to rip. I was on another isle & didn't know what happened till we were leaving.
AWAKE 2DALITE: Good exercise walking
michelobjohn1: A shell of what it used to be, not very many vendors, the lot was run down with a bunch of mud and water puddles. Several items over priced.

Wannetta Hoskins: Lots to see I like it all .

The man himself Terry Sanchez is one of the kindest, caring person I'll ever know! Terry is an original eclectic person, you're sure to find what you're looking for. Weird Stuff Antiques Kansas City MO!!!!
Justen Grindstaff: Neat place
Denise Morgan-Irish: Owner super friendly and helpful, crazy variety of stuff, definitely an enjoyable excursion into everything from A to Z, and the vibe wayyy more fun imo than the uptight antique vendors in the main West Bottoms area! Will soooo be back here next time in KC!!
Liz Martinson: Stopped in based on the reviews and I couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Felt more like a junkyard and completely disorganized. Who wants to buy items that are ripped, stained or broken? There is a difference between antiques and junk…
Kelly Crooks: It's been quite a few years since I have visited, but this place is spectacular. They possibly have everything you have always wanted!!
Russell Primeaux: Totally weird!
Trenton Singleton: Got some really unique items for really cheap very friendly staff I recommend a stop by if you're in the area!
Dave Barnhart: Pretty rad place, I’ll come here again when In the area
Shane Dang: Best place ever the coolest people you will ever meet in kc.
Rob O'Hara: My wife and I stopped by during a road trip and were not disappointed! From signage to lunchboxes, vintage electronics, and lots of toys, this place has a little bit of everything. I can't think of another store where you can find a vintage skateboard, an old coin-op helicopter ride, a gumball machine, an oversized telephone and a Halloween skull painted with gold sparkles. If you like vintage treasures and enjoy digging, this is your place. PS: Don't look too hard for the golden skull, it came home with me.
Donna Ashe: Lots of stuff, so much fun to meander through. Very nice staff.
Tim Tracy: Phone treasures everywhere I looked brought a few home too if you're looking for something unique you're probably find it there I must see if you're in Kansas City

River Market Antiques: what do users think?
Nick L: Incredibly rude staff, overpriced garbage, tourist trap for rubes. To the shop owners: go ahead and post another snarky reply to this review like you do the rest, show everyone who you are.
nakiea boetger: This place is MASSIVE. Chock full of all the greatest hits from your 70s-90s childhoods at absorbent prices. Grandmas Tupperware, check. TMNT figures, check. Melamine plates, check. Floral mug sets, check! We didn’t make it all the way through, but this place literally has it all. And it’s not all insanely priced. If you know what to expect, it’s not so bad. But, prepare for flashbacks.Staff is friendly and helpful, organization is well done in most booths, and the sheer size is a treat!Put your bags in the locker! There are tight quarters and you’ll knock something over.Watch your step! If you’re walking down memory lane, you’re probably too old for a minor misstep without the consequences of back pain.
Julie Vaughn: Large, nice antique shop. Many, many booths. Well organized.
Kaiulani Prado: very very helpful employees! i found a scarf that i loved and it didn’t have a price, and they happily called the seller and got it for me! i was also greeted very nicely at the door, wonderful customer service here!
Gabriel Gonzalez: I love antique shops and consignment stores and this is one of my favorites. Four floors of all kinds of great finds and treasures. My only complaint is that some of the staff is not the friendliest. Also, I have been bringing my parents to this place for the past 8 years. Since then my elderly father has been through some health and aging issues. He has a heart condition and several old back and leg injuries. He now walks with a cane and has great difficulty with stairs. On our last visit this past Saturday 5/6/2023 my dad was able to make it from the main level to the next level up but had a very hard time. I asked a young man who was working and monitoring the second floor by the freight elevator. I asked if they could take my dad up to the next level in the elevator. He said he could not because it was not allowed. I was disappointed given the situation and my dad’s disability. I wish they would make exceptions to their rules for the elderly and disabled.
Maya Nivarthi: This is the best antique store I’ve ever been to. They have everything you could imagine and the store is really well organized, and has multiple floors. It’s a really interesting place to stop by whether you’re looking for something specific or just want a fun experience.
Rude: Tons of stuff but MASSIVELY OVERPRICED
Dani McPeek: We loved exploring in here! There’s just something magical about an antique store. We didn’t get through all of it but we will be back for more treasures ☺️
Adam Schneider: This store provided a valuable lesson, so I’m almost tempted to add another star on account of that. Overall though, the entire experience was rather creepy - for one thing, the employees were extremely in your face, and also not wearing any name tags or identification (so random people would come up to you and talk to you/follow you). There were cameras everywhere, including a sign that suggested they might even be in the bathroom. Creepy! The lesson, of course, is this: if I want to buy antiques, I’m lucky enough to be able to afford a place that caters to honest clientele like me with the ability to pay for nice things and good service. That is, a place that assumes when you walk in that you’re there to buy and not steal their overpriced junk. Those are the places I should be visiting at this point in my life. Instead, I went to this one, which is organized around setting up a panopticon to stop customers (whom they inherently distrust and seem to dislike) from stealing cheap stuff. Wouldn’t have learned that had I not stopped in!**Update: I'm actually under 40. I just have taste and self-esteem, so regardless of age I won't go to places that sell junk and/or assume I'm primarily there to steal said junk.
Tara West: Love this place!!! They are really awesome. I love that you can make offers on items.. did not know that when I went and that makes this place even better in my eyes. Can’t wait to get back there and see what new treasures I can find.
Brad Horne: Find what you are looking for! This place is huge and many things to search through. My daughter had a great time, and I was able to share stories from my childhood with her from things we stumbled upon inside.
Christina Stanley: So many floors and so many different types of collections and pieces with so many vendors
Ron Wilhelmi: This place is a pretty neat. If you haven't been there you need to check it out especially if you like antiques
Vince Wenger: Friendly experience....
Mckenzie Breedlove: One of the coolest antique stores I’ve ever been to!
Robert Lewis: It's very nice to meet now people.
Amber Clark: Love this place brings back memories when I was younger
Kemp Underwood: A whole day event... and I love it!
David Sonderberg: Just because it's old doesn't mean it's antique. Most of the stuff here is just garbage sold by spivs.
Khadijah Daniels: Loved the amount of soda advertising. Literally amazed to see the amount jam packed in there. Only disappointing factor is most of the items were more than double the price of the going market value. Last I checked River Market Antiques isn’t Mecum auctions.
L Cotton: The staff is super friendly.
