Mark Crawford: Do not waste your time with them. Incompetent and do not have proper information. Wasted multiple calls, emails and trips on them saying they'd buy a drum set for me to load and bring up and them say they don't have the room.Unprofessional, zero customer service skills and knowledge. Bunch of half-wits.Zero stars if possible.

Ken Eberhart: Guitar Center is a handy place to sell vintage drums. I'm a vintage drum broker & I've been paid decent prices for every item I've presented for a "Street Buy". I do get weary of being "schooled" about vintage drums by the 20 somethings behind the counter who seem oblivious to the possibility that I was playing drums from the era I'm selling, before they were even born. I also hold a Master of Music degree in percussion performance from a well known Conservatory of Music. It's always fun to have someone half my age asking me "Are ya SURE that's a 14 inch drum, cuz looks to me like it might be a 13? Let's measure it with a tape. Uh......... wow. I guess it IS a 14 like you said. Anyway, how's 80 bucks sound?"Sounds great kid (I paid $30 for it at a garage sale, then I wiped it down with Windex).

Robert Hanford: I rarely take the time to write a review, but I just wanted to share with other trombonists the superlative level of craftsmanship taken to tune-up my trombone. Although it was only the standard service, the horn looks and plays like new. Well done!
Russell Morgan (The Morgan8ter): Going here was a dream of mine for many years. I made an appointment with them so we can go through a few trombone options. I didn't want to show up unannounced. This ensured they had several instruments for me to try. B.A.C. assisted me in creating a unique trombone. Also system b to sell my old block 42 K valve on consignment. If you're looking for a unique professional instrument, this is the must to go place.
Jay Swearingen: Bought my daughter an upgraded Trombone. The staff is super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I spent about as little money as I could have spent, but they treated me the same as if I had bought a $2000 instrument.
Chris Elder: Over the past 2 years, Kevin Stiles restored and provided customized finishes on 3 of my horns. The level of detail and customer service exceeded my expectations to my small collection. I highly recommend Kevin and his restoration team if you're looking to restore your horns. Well worth the investment.

Maggie Deigh: This place is awesome! I’ve been here several times, and always pleased with the experience. Staff are knowledgeable and I get the impression that it’s by musicians for musicians. Unlike many other music stores (where “don’t touch” is a common policy) they encourage folks to find an instrument that interests them and try it out! I’ve spent hours playing dozens of different instruments, comparing tones and the feels in the hands.Also, the most incredible assortment of ukuleles that I’ve ever found under one roof!!

C H I C K E N: Waited a literal hour to get my guitar checked out by a staff member just to find out that the guy who was supposed to look into it already left. I sat in a stool waiting for this guy who was supposed to be there according to another staff member and basically left me looking stupid. Wasted my time and my service completely. The staff were extremely unprofessional and it’s ridiculous it took that long. The only help I received before I walked out was from a guy who just got to his shift asked if I wanted to test an amp.
Brian Barth: Non-pushy staff, though when asked for help some are more helpful than others. First guy I asked sent me to the general location where a 2nd sales person looked with me but we couldn't find it. He sent me back to the front desk and pointed out a 3rd person who took the time to check inventory both electronically and visually in the back. He then offered a suggestion of another place I could possibly get what I needed.

Lindsey Chadwell: The warehouse supervisor, Patrick, is a rock star (pun intended). He took the time to call me about my used drum kit purchase that was damaged to make sure I still wanted it. He could have easily sent it to me and I just “got what I got,” but he cared enough to give me a call to check. He offered to refund the purchase and gave me a recommendation for another, affordable new kit. I’m in OKC, but I wish I was in KS so I could go to this Guitar Center regularly. They obviously care about their customers! Best customer service I’ve ever had (Give Patrick a raise!!!)
Brady Brady: Huge selection, of course. I've never had any repairs done here, so I can't comment on that. I have bought and sold equipment at this Guitar Center, and I felt that I got fair deals and offers. I have also tried to sell an acoustic guitar here and the employee pointed out a needed repair and they wouldn't buy the guitar for what it would normally be worth, nor did they try to convince me to have the repairs done there or to lowball an offer--they simply would not buy it. I felt it was honest communication. I say I prefer Mom & Pop businesses, but I keep coming back to Guitar Center.
Mark M (Maxx): I had a question about how to set up a pedal board. I asked the guy behind the counter and he treated me and my question as stupid. I will never spend money here again.

Alex Smith: Giving these guys 2 stars because I did at least get some service from them. First of all, owners of Metro Pawn you’re gonna be seeing a lot more of us down on our luck desperate folks in the next couple years… unfortunately. So slap a smile on and act like you appreciate your customers. As someone who has spent their entire working life working in customer service y’all gotta do better than the service I saw last week. Most of us don’t want to even ask for help let alone sell possessions that we busted our rumps for but to finally find resolve in ourselves and get the courage together to collect our meager possessions and darken your door step…please for the love god smile and say, “hello” or “good morning” or “welcome in”. Something. Please. Don’t look at me like the broke financially and broke spiritually person I’ve become. We’re asking you for financial help. Act like you care. I’d say if you’re in a pinch come see Metro Pawn. If you have time and gas in the car find the time to go out to Independence, MO.

Jet R: The staff here are wonderfully helpful & accommodating. My Fiance' & I had to pawn his Fender Mustang Guitar when we were were having some financial issues. Neither of us were happy about it & after going to 2 different pawn shops we started to get discouraged that we wouldn't be able to get all of the money that we needed. We decided to give it one last shot so we went to Metro Pawn; not only were the owner & staff knowledgeable about the guitar (the other 2 were not, one placed offered only $80 on a Fender Mustang less than a year old) but we were able to get the money we needed. Honesty that is enough to give them 5 stars but what came after this makes me wish I could give them 10 stars. We ended up having to wait until a week before we would have forfeited the guitar when our cat became very ill. We ended up spending over $500 on Emergency Vet bills and then 2 days later we realized that we now didn't have the money to save the guitar, payday was a week after the deadline. I called Metro Pawn and asked if there was anyway we could extend the deadline about 6 days & started to explain what happened, the guy that answered the phone was incredibly nice & said there was no problem. We are now able to get the guitar back & our fur baby is on the mend.If you are in a position where you are going to need to pawn something I would absolutely 100% recommend Metro Pawn.

A Reyes: Place is not really a pawn shop. I took over 1000 dollars of tools to the place and was told the tools were to dusty. For real, the owner told me once a saw gets dust on it, I it's worthless. Would not even loan me 20 bucks. Complete waste of time going to this place .

They dont actually seem to do any pawn loans or buy anything. Alpha pawn on the other hand has given me better deals by far. Never less then 50% better offers in fact and 100% better customer service. Who knows, maybe someone will put a cool street side cafè here one day. Lord knows it would be better for the community.

I bought an engagement ring there, and my wife gets compliments every single day, as well as Joslin's Jewelry swore up, and down I bought the ring from them, until I showed them where i bought it. They congratulated me on my choice, and that Dave knows his stuff when it comes to jewelry. Forever a life saver in my book. Location off State Ave has a lot more jewelry, but they will work with you. All you gotta do is ask.

Aislinn Johnson: I decided on a whim to visit this week. Gold at record highs. I was dressed in PJ’s with no intent of getting out of my car. Went in there, looked all the jewelry over. They never seemed to be annoyed with me or wonder if I was even going to spend any money.We came to a deal on a few pieces, I was thrilled. 1 white female 1 dark skinned man and 1 older maybe Italian man, hard of hearing. All so very nice. I would return business there without a second thought and would recommend anyone who hasn’t been here before but has curiosities: give it a try! They’re reasonable and also very friendly!

So he gave me a price up to 300$ for one the system, no controllers or games. Rude And not good service. Waste of time going there.
Kyle Lawson: They said no to all my things without giving me a reason. I had an almost unused tablet, a nice Kenneth Cole watch, and a Samsung Bluetooth headset. The woman that I first talked to seemed nice enough, but when she had me take my stuff to the larger gentleman who works there, he seemed uninterested in talking to me and was busy working on phones instead of trying to help me. Kim Brown: If I could give zero stars I would! I went in today to see about pawning some diamond jewelry and was completely insulted by the gentleman at the counter. He proceeded to tell me they were junk and that my jeweler is as well. I have documentation from not only my jeweler but a third party appraiser that states they are all VVS diamonds so I was completely taken by surprise that he would refer to it that way. Especially without even looking at the merchandise first. Everyone falls on hard times and needs a little extra every now and then but there is absolutely no way I would EVER do any kind of business with these people. They are worth more sitting in a drawer than his offer. I understand they are out to make money but to insult people because you have the upper hand and have the money they are needing is uncalled for.

Matt Albrecht: Worst company I have ever dealt with! I bought a camera bundle from them online and there are so many problems with the transaction it's hard to even list them all. First of all, the listing was littered with contradicting information and photos. I purchased it based on the photos because that should be the most accurate indicator of what they're selling. The listing said Expedited Shipping and they used the slowest/cheapest method possible. The package would have been at least 20"x12"x12" and 8 lbs. if it included the items in the photo but instead it was 10x10x7 and 3lbs. I've sent 4 messages since the time of purchase and they won't respond to any of them. I tried calling them and the guy on the phone knew absolutely nothing, acted like he didn't even know what the company did. I needed this camera for an event this weekend and they have completely ruined all plans of that. Please save yourself the hassle and don't deal with these clowns!

Jeremiah Johnson: Ordered a $1640 espresso machine off of the through eBay. Represented the item as new in retail condition and arrives without any instruction manuals and in a lightweight non factory cardboard box. Waited 7 days to ship also. I messaged and called them before the item was shipped to confirm it was in the retail package and because it is rather fragile and without those boxes it is prone to damage. Well it was shipped in a completely inappropriate box and ends up arriving destroyed. Contacted seller and was rude and hung up on me.
