RevolveKC Community Bike Shop: what do users think?
Conor Lewis: Got a flat tire riding over some broken glass (who knew) and took my bike to revolve. Easy, quick, fair price.
Khan: I went to the shop for buying a bicycle. I found the staff hostile, uninterested to sell me a bicycle.
Caitlin Kading: Super helpful staff and I love how they reuse everything.
Aaron Worthan: Very cool bike shop! These folks know they're stuff!
Kevin Carter: Helpful and friendly. Super nice guy that helped me. I would recommend this place for your bike needs.
Rory Smith: Hung up on me before I could finish a sentence. Not worth your time or anyone else's.
Judy Goff: Bought a nice bike for my daughter. Friendly courteous service. Safe social distancing. Helped me figure how to get bike in my car. I described what she needed, forgot his name, tall, young man pointed out the bike, perfect!
John Kramer: Very helpful and really know there stuff. Thank you for helping me with such a great deal.
Kyle Walker: Great place just went in there you help me out with some inner tubes for the neighborhood kids great guy great personality recommend highly going to this place

Adam Blinn: Great service and prices
Mary Hill: The best people selling used bikes at good prices.
Winja B: I went here because I wanted to transform my road bike to more of a mountain/ city bike. The guys are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! They pointed me to the right parts and made recommendations. This is my go to place for anything bike related now!
Marlena Smith: Horrible customer service. They wouldn’t even help me with a flat tire, go to Pedego at 7335 Broadway Street if you want any type of bike repair.
Paula Romero: This bike shop is amazing! Their prices are decent and the customer service is 10/10!
Sika B: Keith got my bike in tip top shape after being in the basement rusting.
Karen Workman: Couldn't tell what was for sale
Jon Munro: Great used bike shop! Much bigger selection than I anticipated. Also great service from the staff. Most of the (adult) bikes were between $75-$200. Most of them in the low $100’s. Highly recommend for an affordable used bike that is already tuned up
Carl Wilder: Great bike program for those needing a bike. Nice people to deal with.
Josiah Heshion: Incredible. An asset to the community. Saved my tail for sure. Was in a tight spot and without question a man named Kieth was a hand ready to help. And that's more than a bike shop. That is selfless community service. People helping people is powerful stuff. And RevolveKC display this.

ERIK'S - Bike & Board: what do users think?
Zandor Fivethousand: Friendly staff.
Richard Campbell: Had a punctured tube and a minor brake adjustment. Brought in on Thursday June 8, service tech said since it was minor repair they’d probably have it ready either later Thursday or Friday morning at the latest.I called Friday PM, hadn’t started working on it. Called Saturday PM, hadn’t started working on it. Gave up calling as I was told we’ll call you. Finally Monday the 12th at 6pm, it’s ready. New tire, but brakes still feel squishy, same as when I brought it in. Really don’t want to bring it back in and have it sit there another 5 days.Main issue is not to over promise and underdeliver.
Katie Hull: Incredible service! Helpful beyond what I expected. THANK YOU!
Aniko Giampetruzzi: I was very satisfied with my bike repairs. I was impressed with the staff at Erik’s, very knowledgeable, and they really listen to your concerns about your bike. If they don’t think you need a specific repair they will tell you instead of charging you for a repair that is not needed. I was told I might need a new cable but in the end they said my bike looked pretty good and the cable didn’t need to be replaced after all. . I will definitely be bringing my bike to Eriks for future repairs. Thank you! Oh and they cleaned my bike up so nice! That was a plus😀
Loren Saunders: Great service with reasonable prices and finished my repair days earlier than originally predicted. Couldn’t have been better.
MIchael Somers: Helpful and steered me in right direction
Toby Katowitz: We were greeted promptly and given many options based on our needs and wants. Great staff!
Cody Clinebell: Came in to learn about road bikes for triathlon. Spoke with Tyler. He was awesome! Super knowledgeable and kind. I ended up buying clip on shoes and pedals
Mark Boyer: Service was speedy, helpful and technically informative. And the price was right.
NotQuiteSure OfAnything: Great, quick service. Had a wheelset trued, fast sameday service.
Leigh Jefferson: 5/22/23 Just had repair work done and they left a critical part off; they took care of the issue this morning and apologized thank you!!
Brent Sear: typically friendly workers that care more about helping fix a bike problem than trying to upsell you on their merchandise.
Shauna Slade-Booth: Excellent customer service and one of the specialists helped us fit my son's new bike in our car.
Justin Simpson: I was looking for a new saddle. Bill and the guys went above and beyond to help me understand so many things about them.
Brandon m: We nailed it with the guess on the bike bag! Thanks a bunch!!!!
Melanie Hardison: The flat tire on my bike was assessed and repaired within 10 minutes—as a walk-in without an appointment. I so appreciate the quick and responsive service. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Thank you!
Sherri Albin: We came up on Sunday and brought our 2 Aventon Pace 350 and 500 up for service. Figured we would have to make another trip up since we live out of town. But their service department had it done a few hours later! Thank you to the service department! Two very happy customers!Sherri and Kelly
Doug Easterwood: Everyone I interacted with seemed very knowledgeable and helpful with the purchase of my new electric bike... which I'm extremely happy with!
Sean Bernard: Knowledgable employees helped answer questions and find the right part to fix the problem I came in with!
Kit Barker: I walked in and was treated with attentive service. I got a quick diagnosis of my bike and Chris took the time to really examine what I thought was the problem. He gave me a very good timeline on the repair and it was ready to go earlier than I expected. Great experience.
Tony Zink: On time as promised...found an usual 10 speed Campy chain...shifts like new (15 years ago).

Onestar Bicycles: what do users think?
Cole Thompson: Good bike shop, good people, I bought a bike there and I’m very happy with bike.
Scott Poelzl: These guys know what is best for you when it comes to you and your bike(s).
R R: The owner an his wife are trash stay away from them privileged supremes. They don’t like people from around that neighborhood from other ethnicities
Trevor Stark: This is the best bike shop in the city.If you’re looking for the best service and industry knowledge around, go here.5 Stars for Onestar.
Garrett Miller: The guys at One Star are great to work with. Very knowledgeable about all things bikes and accessories, tons of high end inventory, and friendly/responsive. I enjoyed my bike purchase experience and plan to be a repeat customer going forward. Thanks for the great experience One Star!
Waleed Mubark: Small but nice shop with everything you need. Opening hours are very limited
the_Enduro_Brown MTB: Best bike shop! Great service.
TJ: Onestar routinely has a collection of some of the most badass bikes in the KC area. I've bought both a new and used mountain bike from here, and both have been great. Great collection of gear and components as well, always something cool to see in the shop.Definitely double check hours before going, well worth it.
Steph Adrales: New to the KC area and I wandered into OneStar to replace a flat tire and get my brakes checked out. They talked me through some tire options and were able to fix the brake no problem. I dropped it off in the afternoon and was able to pick it up a few hours later. Definitely will be back the next time I need parts or work done
Michael Lee: do not buy a bike from here. I bought one and within like a few months pretty much everything on it broke and they would not replace parts which were missing that should have came with it. Heres a list in order: hub, rotor, spokes, headset. I would really recommend you stay far away from here for you safety and welbeing as well as for not spending ridiculous amounts of money fixing things which could have been prevented with one small part.
Jeremy Ruzich: Been coming to this shop for over a decade, since they were in Volker. I feel I can always trust them to know and communicate the best options for my bike and accessories and charge fair prices.
Cole Singbeil: Stellar shop
Derek Unruh: They don’t answer the phone
Scott Bourland: This evening I found myself five miles from home with a flat tire and no spare tubes. As I was carrying my bike home I saw the door to this shop open, though I knew it was too late for them to be open. I knocked on the door and asked if I could pretty please with sugar on top buy a tube. He could have easily told me that the shop was closed and he was leaving but he grabbed me a new (700c with Schrader valve) tube and brought his floor jack over and I was back on the road in less than five minutes flat. Much appreciated, Onestar, you have earned five stars.
Tyler Epstein: This shop is a long drive for me and with the hours I work it's hard to get down there but when I am able to get down there it is always worth it. They have built a few wheels for me and have worked on several of my bikes. These guys are good people and genuinely love bikes. Like some of the other reviews said, they are not going to nickel and dime you. They just love bikes and are EXTREMELY knowledgable when it comes to bikes. They will also shoot you straight which I respect. Thanks for all you guys have done to keep my bikes running which has allowed me to keep riding. I appreciate you!
Rich Davis: My girlfriend Maggi and I stopped in to talk about ebikes. When we left we felt like Britton confirmed most of what we had researched and provided his expertise and recommendations to best match our goals and needs.
Forrest Schaeffer: The best place to go if you're serious about your bike, the quality of work, and straightforward people.
Steven Garcia: Best bikes, best service, best mechanics, best bike shop in town.
Gov TaxSerf: Sign says closed, though I seen a customer leaving as I got there. The guy working there said he was not open for business, but I saw otherwise.
Mike Lacy: Called Onestar about an issue with my frame and they were able to get me in that day and take care of it for me at an unbelievably good price. Great place with a cool vibe
Peter A: Awesome shop, helped me time and time again. Finally buying a new bike and it's definitely coming from them!

Waldo Bikes: what do users think?
Garrett Spruiel: Terrible over the phone customer service, shop isn’t open so it’s the only way to communicate. Older guy sticking to his old ways of maintenance.
C: Dave is eccentric, knows the history of the brands of bicycles in the world. He is efficient, offers good prices, excellent repair turnaround and bike tune ups. No upselling or unnecessary repairs. Because of Covid and Covid variants, his business model is changed to appointment only. This information is posted on the back door entrance. Call ahead for an appointment for repairs. No new bikes are for sale presently.
Joshua Concannon: Poor customer service
Diogo Roldão: Great guy. He know his stuffs. He is there for many decades. One of the few remaining small owner-ran bike stores in town
Jordan Wilson: Was looking to buy a bike from a local business, but the guy just standing behind the counter, didn't seem to keen on selling to me let alone even coming in to look at a bike [yes I had a mask for building entry]. I guess it's just easier going to a big chain store like Walmart or Target 🤷🏿‍♀️
Waleed Mubark: Very bad store, it's closed and shows it's open. Very bad avey bad.
C Allen: Dave is awesome. Experience and honesty. Prices are good, too.
Ellen S: We found this place on line and hoped to find a couple of used bikes. We went last week to check them out, only to find a sign on the door saying they were not doing in store shopping, only repairs. I understand why, but a statement on their website would have been nice which is why I'm posting this here, as I know bikes are a hot commodity right now.
Cooper Brown: Friendly, fast, affordable service
Ming Zhong: I took my $1500 scott MTB in this location 2 years ago for tune up, I rode bike first time last week since it was tuned up, then I found my front brake didn't work at all, I suddenly recalled that he said hydraulic fluid leaking a lot during tune up, I was wondering why... this is why, not quite experienced service, it was cheap through, only cost me $40, then this is what I got... If you got an expensive MTB like I do, use certified dealership for tune up.
Bob C: Closed to public. By appointment only. So it was a wasted trip
Dan Quarles: Extremely fair pricing and quality service. All other bike places were 30-45 days out for a tune up. Dave was able to get my bike in the shop that day. Very affordable tune up and he even diagnosed my shifting issue (busted front derailleur), and held onto my bike until I ordered and received a new one that Dave suggested. He could have ordered it and charged a markup, but he didn't. Dave then included the derailleur installation as a part of a tune up with no extra charge. I had my bike tuned up with a new derailleur in less than 10 total days, for 50% of what it would have costed elsewhere in KC. I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else.
Jeff Shipman: No water bottles that double as kickstands
Boz Morrow: In and out with a fix.
Adam Blinn: Terrible customer service. If you're not a bike expert, I don't recommend going here.
Susan Shank: Stopped by Waldo Bikes today to purchase a set of foot pedal cages for my husband's bike. The young guy working there was very helpful, explained all my options, and in the end offered me a pair of used foot straps that worked perfectly. It was a GREAT experience from a local business that's trying to make improvements in customer service and deserves a chance.
Cheryl Burbach: They are always so helpful and never make me feel bad for my lack of knowledge. Great service. My daughter wants me to emphasize that they are kind. Lol
Angela Shae: The owner was so nice to myself and my 11 year old son when we took our bike in for repair. I wouldn't go anyplace else. He tells it like it is and does great quick work! Some people don't like his straight forwardness but that's what was so endearing to us.
Laura Howard: Dave (the owner) is a super nice guy and has been in business in Waldo forever. I got good service, good tune-ups, good rates and a good chat with him. I'm happy to patronize this shop because it's locally owned and old-school. He's there because he wants to be there and will give you a fair price and honest service.
Angela Mary: Got a nice fitting helmet for a decent price.
Joe Hendrickson: I have been doing business with Dave for over 20 years. He always treats me fair and services my bikes as needed. His employees are always friendly and helpful.

Bike America: what do users think?
Marlo Martin: WONDERFUL experience at the service department at Bike America! Cam made all the difference. He was so patient with this newbie in determining if I should purchase my first bike used and everything I would need to do to get it road ready. Would highly recommend them, one of the best and most personal customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
deannsommers: Bike America went above and beyond in helping me get an e-bike repaired. Initially, we felt the bike would be a fairly quick and easy repair. It turned out, there was significantly more damage than originally expected. They could have easily told us to come pick it up and have it repaired elsewhere, as the bike was not purchased from them. They agreed to continue on with repairs, and dealt directly with the company the bike was purchased from. (Which turned out not very easy to deal with) Brock especially was helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Cost was right around the estimate given even with the extra effort made by Brock and the team. Even when we went to pick the bike up after repaired, we didn't have a rack to bring the bike home with. The car I needed was unavailable at the time, and I wasn't prepared for the cost of the bike racks needed to support the weight of an E-bike. As we were deciding our next move, here comes Brock with an alternative option for us. If you are considering an ebike purchase online, I urge you to reconsider. We would have saved money, time and hassle had we purchased from Bike America. I have NEVER in my life experienced such a high level of customer service as I did from Bike America, and most importantly Brock.
Joe: I have been dealing with Bike America for years, I’ve bought my full suspension Habit 6, parts and I’ve had my bike serviced here many times.Ever since I’ve bought my I’ve been upgrading it since. The level of expertise in the service department is second to none. every time I have a problem with my mtb they know exactly how to fix it or if I have a question about a part I want to order they always have the answer and order me the part I need.Over the years I have ordered custom parts through them and they always notify me with any order problems or shipping delays (supply chain problems)Which sucks but ever since 2020 things have been a little unpredictablewith bikes and bike parts. They even let me trade in my daughters stride and small peddle bike in on a new bigger bike which I thought was convenient…
Jeremy A: I want to start by saying how dishonest and rude Bike America has been since I placed my order from Nick in January. They were quick to take my money from my account when I placed my order. After several months of hearing lie after lie how ups delivered to wrong place, I wrote down the wrong address, I rerouted your order, it’s ups fault, and so on and so on, I asked several times for a refund since Nick would not give me a tracking number and was told I would be getting it. After several conversations and several more lies, I decided to contact the attorney general in Kansas for help with my problem. After working with them for two months, Nick finally sent them proof of delivery to me (which was in fact not to me as he stated and was very clear in his “proof” that my order went to someone else), oh and I don’t want to leave out the rude female manager that I also spoke with early in my issue to try to resolve the problem, to which she was not concerned about or didn’t even want to hear about and showed it by smarting me off and then hanging up on me! Bike America is a rob shop and has poor customer service especially Nick and the female manager, I would hate to see anyone go through what I’ve went through since January and would advise everyone to take your business elsewhere. After the attorney general’s office got involved and Nick lied to them on several occasions, he finally started my refund only to let it go pending into my account and then cancel the transaction before the refund was put in my account. The attorney general’s office then got the attorney’s involved at which point the refund finally made it to my account!AGAIN I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO LOSE! BIKE AMERICA IS THE MOST DECEITFUL AND DISHONEST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!!
Tina Gilchrist: After trying a local bike shop that didn't seem to want to work on our bike, we drove 50 miles to bike America and had excellent customer service from the moment we walked in. They offered to fix the bike for us and did so in around an hour on the spot. Excellent experience
Chaz Broome: Very very busy store. Nick and the crew were great! Installed my mirror, and speedo/odo both for free! Didn't expect that. Took about 30m and was done. Great prices on all bikes and equipment. Ty all again!
Paul Klaassen: Took my bike in for the first time ever to be in the shop. not only did they fix the back tire that I blew out but replaced both tires did a complete check of entire bike. The bike is better than when I bought it the team in Lees Summit did a great job on my Diamondback mountain bike. Would recommend to friends and would purchase a bike from them. they are extremely helpful.
Sherry Osborn: Bike America is everything you could ever dream a neighborhood Bike shop to be !The staff is always so very friendly and helpful. The manager Mick is so humble and kind and always ready to make sure your trip to his store is successful. They have a wide selection of bikes that can fit everyone's pocketbook.Their service department is the best! They make sure that every customer is happy no matter whatThank you Bike America for all the years of excellent 10 stars service.successful..Their selection of bikes is amazing amazing
Sherri Sch: The owners and staff are always willing to help and are very friendly. They like what they do and it shows. Give these guys a try & shop local.
Ik'os joolí 1: Very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating staff. We purchased a new ebike and received great information on our purchase.
Ashton West: My wife purchased a bike used that needed some work done to the derailleur. Not only did they have the specific component but squeezed us in so we could keep our trip for the weekend.Reasonable cost, great service. Would recommend this place to anyone interested in owning/servicing a Cannondale bike. Thanks again fellas!
yi teh liu: Impeccable service and extensive selection of bikes.
Taylor Smith: Cara was a huge help in finding the bike I was after. I hugely appreciate the time she took to find it and would recommend that anyone visit this shop to purchase your next bike. Thank you!
Larson Carter: Awesome service and pricing. Will give more than fair value on trade ins when making a new bike purchase. I feel.
Leo B: I am trying to get in touch by e-mail, because i am from Brazil, but it's been impossible. The e-mail is returning as "E-mail adress does not exists".
Scott Warren: Bike America is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I cannot say enough good about this store and it’s staff. Extremely friendly, totally professional, and they take the time to listen and truly help you find a solution.I have a TerraTrike Rambler and have been looking for a Bosch Power Assit kit to add to it. I know they are hard to find and are backordered everywhere. I called the store one afternoon, talked with the manager (sorry I’m terrible with remembering names), and two weeks later I had one installed on my trike. The main thing throughout the whole process was how this store stayed in communication with me. I’ve shopped and bought from some other stores and, sorry to say, would call, leave messages, and never get a call back. In my books that’s a big fail. Not Bike America. I received continual followups and calls keeping me in the loop. I have no problem paying for quality, however, I want my money to go to a store that I feel cares about me as a customer and I am a huge believer in communication. To wrap this up, if you need anything bike or trike related go to Bike America, they have turned me into a lifelong customer.
Chaz Lang: Staff members were helpful. I thought my bike was a total loss but they said it was no problem to fix it up! Owner is a genuine good person. Music was great too (old fall out boy) thanks for saving my bike!
shaynaleahy: Today I had the best experience at Bike America KC - Overland Park. I arrived shortly before opening and was immediately invited inside as I was looking at the bikes on the sidewalk. Nick introduced himself and spent the next 90 minutes listening to what I was looking for as a new rider and showing me all level of bikes - used and new that he thought would suit me. I would come back in from a test ride and he would have found something else hiding in the back that he wanted me to check out before making a decision. It was an amazing level of service from someone who clearly didn't care if I walked away with a $200 used model or something new off the floor. He was just dedicated to helping me feel comfortable and confident about my purchase. When I chose my bike, the specific one I wanted was not in that location. Since I was in from out of town, Nick made special arrangements to get the bike brought to me and assembled so I could take it home today. I was floored. I know that I will tell EVERYONE where I got my bike, and I will be back there in the future for the rest of my family's needs. Absolutely an exemplary experience, from start to finish.
Sandra Mehl: Read reviews before driving to the OP store for anything. You will save yourself from incredible frustration. Too bad all of the owner responses from two years ago of promising to do better haven’t actually made any changes. Maybe the other location has better staff and management, but OP store is bad news.
Sandie Mayer: Nick and his staff are amazing. My son's bike was not in working order for a triathlon the next day. They quickly fixed it and they found new tires for his bike. They didn't have the right ones so Nick searched the store to find ones that would work and even took them off another bike. They are super honest and helpful!
roger farr: The guy at the front counter is completely worthless. I literally drove 2 hrs to get there showed up 10 minutes before they closed just to be turned away. I'm an MMA fighter and my bikes are part of my training. I was seriously considering beating him up right in the store. Maybe next time

816 Bicycle Collective: what do users think?
Free Galaxy: Very nice people helped me fix my bike and taught me how to fix it myself
Jacquie Lamer: I just bought a refurbished Talera 4.0 bike and donated my old mountain bike. Everyone at the collective is friendly and knowledgeable. They explained all the new features I wasn’t familiar with, like disc brakes, Presta tire valve and shock absorber. They added a kick stand and even moved my mirror from my old bike to the new one. They aren’t a bike repair shop, per se. They fix donated bikes and sell them as a means to support their non-profit. They’ll help you learn how to fix your bike and they have a free air pump on the sidewalk. The group supports cyclists and those who need bicycle transportation. It’s a cool place. Give them any bike you’re no longer riding! (They don’t always take kids bikes, so phone ahead for that.) Highly recommend this non-profit business!
Marshall Anderson: Didn't have a good experience looking for assistance here, unfortunately. I've been struggling a lot recently with homelessness and finding a job, and getting around the city has been very time consuming without a car or bicycle. Went in last week and spoke with a very nice person about trading time for a bike or putting down a little money and then working on one so that I could find a better way to get around and make life a little easier while I have zero income. They seemed confident that I could be helped and given the opportunity to trade my time for something to get around on.By then it was later in the day, so I came back today happy to put in some work but was met by a much more unfriendly person who barely gave me any consideration other than some thinly veiled mistrust, I guess. They told me to buy an unfinished bike outright and afterwards I could then work on it myself to make it functional. Didn't ask me my situation or what I could feasibly contribute financially. If I had the ability to drop $100+ on a bicycle that wasn't even rideable yet then I would just go buy a complete and rideable one literally anywhere else.Bummed out that I couldn't make things work here. I guess it seems less of a community outreach program and more just a shop with a workshop attached for people to work on their own bikes.
James Kubicz: I was looking for a bike that that would fit my height and something I can use on and off the road. Shawn (Sean?) helped me find an excellent used hybridmountain bike that fit my budget. I even got a new helmet with it. Very grateful that this org is available to everyone that needs it
Jamie B.: Very nice ppl .
E Prout: Very cool. Thanks Sean !!
Samuel Meixueiro: They gave me a bike for free.
Bryan Ayars: Very friendly no profit bike shop, with a great mission to serve the kc community
Isaac Wagner-Muns: These folks are really passionate about bikes and it shows! I got a restored road bike from them for a song. They're awesome!
John McCurry: Great place to have your bike fixed... great people
Annalise Fonza: Such a great resource for this community!feels good to get back on my bike after a year of being away. Thanks to Sean and Ty!
Alex Olson: Best place on earth!
Josh Fosso: Good stuff doing great things here!!! The lady whom I talked to was very nice and helpful.
Carl Wilder: I donated to this place that helps others get bikes.
Darin Shreves: An awesome community-oriented place to buy, fix, or learn about bicycles!
Jonathan Pennington: A gem of a place for those who ride bicycles on a budget. Check it out.
Kyra Carson: You can buy a bike, you can donate a bike, you can build a bike, what's not to love, and they will teach you the fundamentals of bike maintenance
Jerry Oldie: This is a local gem for bicycling enthusiedt. If you bike and hsve a flat, problem with your bike or just want to do a little tune-up, this is the place to stopIt's easy to get to. It's at the coner of Cherry and 31st street. The staff is great. Their goal is to help YOU and get you back to the road. Plus, hey are volunters, just like you, and youcan voluter there also. PLUS , a great cup of coffee is just around the corner. AND remember, everthing is better with coffee.
Timothy Amundson: The best place to buy and/or service your bike. Run by volunteers, so be patient and DONATE!
Jimi Sims: Such a fun experience! The volunteers were so helpful and even let my little one oil his own chain. All kinds of bikes to choose from and suggested donations are more than reasonable. This is such a great concept! Thankful for whoever came up with the idea. If your looking for a used bike or want to learn how to rebuild them, check them out.
Crimson Sparrow: Picked up my Specialized Hybrid at 816 today. The guys in the shop were awesome about talking me through different brands and styles as well as inspecting my bike thoroughly before I took it out the door. Great experience. Good cause.

James Tully: Came here to have a look around. Super friendly and lovely big shop. Was helped by the lovely Anna. Would highly recommend coming here as they also run a bicyle swap from time to time which is wonderful idea. Thanks for everything
B S: Way more friendly than other bike shops I have dealt with. Really happy I bought my bike from here.
Jim Erickson: Best bikes in the bottoms! Great inventory, fantastic service!
ele anya: customer services is amazing and the prices is " Criminal" criminally cheap
Hayleigh D: Had a great experience with West Bottom bikes, I am in ans XS frame and these can be very hard to find we found exactly what were were looking for and customer service was great! Highly recommend for all your biking needs
Paul Wells: Greg and the crew are fantastic! Truly treating you like a friend as you journey through the wonderful world of Bicycles. They keep real bikes and real accessories on hand, not just the most profitable junk like the big stores, but actual products you want & need.Bonus; The test track upstairs is a treat!
Larry Hopper: Great price. Fast shipping. Excellent service.
Ausman Bossman (AusmanBossman): I had high expectations and wasn't let down. In the past 30 days I have bought two bikes from West Bottoms. Gregg and Jay are incredibly helpful and will do their best to find the right equipment to fit your needs. They're genuine bicycle enthusiasts that I enjoy doing business with.
Santiago Cuesta (santocuesta): I had a bad experience. I'm never going back to that shop.
robert colburn: They had a really good selection. Good prices real friendly atmosphere
Thomas Herriford: Very nice, helpful.
Xiuneng Fan: Just a very wonderful store:)
chris claypool: Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Jay and his team are wonderful. Helped me out in a bind with no questions asked while going above and beyond. They were extremely professional but also extremely caring. I will be using them for each and every cycling need moving forward. A pretty cool location too!
Evan Burghes: Looks like they changed names from “World of bikes”.I bought parts for a 3T. Expensive. They assembled the bike. It took them 2-3 weeks longer than they said and every time I called in the answer was it will be next week.A year later the bike has had massive issues. The crank was installed in correctly doing damage. The brakes weren’t burnt in. The rear brake fluid screw was stripped.Literally the bike has to be taken apart and rebuilt. Horrendous. Never have them assemble a bike for you.
Kristy Robinson: This is the absolute best place to take your bike in the entire metropolitan area. They are so polite, honest and reasonable!I highly recommend this busines!😎
Jake Wheeler: They are the bike shop on the second floor! Excellent selection. Down to earth bike shop. Real bike shop vibes, not a Tesla showroom. Save a few bucks while shopping with your local bike shop.
Sarah Breedlove: In 3.5 weeks, I was moving to Chicago. We were taking no cars and I decided I wanted to have my first bike. I planned to use it for commuting as often as weather permitted. Facebook friends recommended WCB as Greg is a commuter and works in the shop. The owner Jay welcomed me and quickly understood I was interested in the basics, no frills or upselling. All my questions were answered, they were patient with me as I assessed what would be best to enhance my commuter experience, and they made recommendations that increased my sense of confidence, safety, and equipment reliability. The total package of service and value for my purchases inspired me to rush home and order my boyfriend to go get a bike from them. He did. It is awesome. I have a small Marin, he has an extra large Marin. Together we are off for Chicago with matching commuter bikes, all the safety, all the bike gear, all the understanding that we can count on WCB to take good care of us and our friends looking for bikes! ~ Also, take a look at that little shop friend that just wanted belly rubs that day, such a sweetie.
M L: I live in Florida but I was lucky enough to order a Marin DSX-1 from these guys. Jay was super friendly and very helpful on the phone. They shipped the bike within two days of receiving the order which was impressive. I just wish that there was a little more padding/bubble wrap around some of the frame and parts. The seattube was scratched by the brake lever during shipping because the handlebar was moving around. Other than that I really love the bike!
gjvandyck1: Outstanding service. Great selection of bikes. They made sure I left with a bike I love!
Uriah James: What a cool shop w/ a great selection
Matt Krack: Got some tubes online from them and it was easy and reasonable, got them in good time.

Midwest Cyclery LLC: what do users think?
Jeremy Zwillenberg: This shop just gets it. Kind, informative, polite, you can't ask for better...thank you for not being condescending or elitist. Whether it's Patrick or Trent, it's just a nice place to shop!
Austin: This is a very welcoming and friendly place if you're just getting into cycling. My partner and I did some research initially on bikes, but nothing beats going to the experts and getting that human interaction and recommendation.Christina and the team were all very helpful in every aspect of the purchasing experience, from sizing, test rides, and expertise. We're more than pleased (ended up buying two Kona Dew's) and will DEFINITELY be back for our monthly tune-up (included for free)!
Todd Altizer: What great people! Best bike shop in town!
christine woods: Super helpful nice and knowledgeable.
Michael Arango: Fantastic customer service. My experience couldn’t have gone smoother when I purchased it and when I came back to service my bike
JDM: Needed inner tub replaced and had missing back light. Separated light wires were connected to each other AFTER I dropped off bike and was told bike mlght catch on fire because of sparks and was refused service. BEWARE. You don't connect positive and negatives together unless you want sparks.
Seth Smith: These guys are great! Was loading up the bikes to leave town and realized one had an issue. Called and was told to bring over and would take a look and try to fix. Trent got the bike back in working order and saved our trip. He explained the issue and how he resolved. Thanks again!
Ken Corry: Went into the shop when they opened. Great service and very friendly. Bob worked on my bike and Pat answered my questions about possibly getting new tires on my mountain bike for trail riding. Very knowledgeable and store is put together ver well.
Greg Hyatt: Great shop, friendly staff.
Kendra Garetson: Great service center, and a good selection of supplies. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Thoraxe The Impalor: Went to Midwest Cyclery looking for a bike. I know next to nothing about bikes, but wanted something to start riding around my neighborhood. I was met at the door by the owner of the store, Christina, who showed me around. Her husband was able to watch my son so I could more easily look at the different bikes with Christina. The customer service I experienced was unmatched. Not only was I able to look at and try different bikes, but I found one that fit within my budget. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone who is looking for excellent products and unbeatable customer service. I will be coming here to get my bike serviced and to buy my wife a bicycle in the future.
BF: Christina and team are awesome! They are deeply invested in the community and their staff and go the extra mile to make sure their customers are cared for.
Maddie Reddick: I am new to biking. They are always super helpful, supportive, and let me know about things my bike needs that I literally have no clue about. They've helped me cruise safely. They've hooked up a new tire tube when I got a flat, recommended better tires to help with my glass problem, and informed me of other things my bike will need. I know I have a lot to learn, but I'm not afraid or intimidatedto ask staff here, because they are super helpful. I need to ask them about general maintenance for sure. Again...pure newbie on a bike. Anyway, there's no better spot in KC for repairs, equipment, and help. If you bike or are thinking of starting...go to Midwest Cyclery. They are the actual best.New tires pictured...because I am stoked about them.
Robert Thompson: The staff are incredibly accommodating. I have found the mechanical work to be the best I have encountered in the city. Very chill atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Travis Chisham: My wife and I wanted to upgrade our bicycles. We bike 30 to 50 miles a week. I had an idea of what we wanted. We had questions that were easily answered. Didnt get what I wanted. Instead we got bikes more along the lines of what we needed. With a much more comfortable bike. We were also treated very well.
Ron: I'm just getting started looking for an e bike and already see that the staff here is great. Very professional and knowledgeable while willing to spend some time to help, looking forward to working with Christina and the team to get me rolling.
Ron Nacho: Great local bike shop with competent, experienced, and honest mechanics.
Daniel Whiting: Shipped a bike with them. They are flexible. Got the work done before they said they would. Seem like good people.
Emery Harris: Good place to get your bike worked on. Folks are experienced and fair. They have a selection of gear that'll make your commute easier as well.
Isaac Floyd: Very friendly and knowledgeable. Walked it with lots of questions and walked out with 2 new bikes, better than expected!
Joseph Gilligan: Good place to get your bike accessories or fix the bike you have. Convenient location too
