Annie's: what do users think?
Corvette Tony aka The Car guy: Super nice lady.
Sasha Parker: Friendly staff and great selection of clothing for children
Brenda “BC” Cas: Been going here for years. Great place!!! Very reasonable as well!!!
Amber Duffett: I took a ton of clothing in today and she took very little yet gave me a super good payout. She's on the hunt for top of the line stuff for our littles. And her prices are super reasonable. Wish I would've been going there when my sons were younger. Definitely a great place to support!
L. Dawn: It's okay
Porsche Shelden: I love this store. They have the best second hand shoes around. Most of the store is children's clothes and shoes but they do have some adult sizes as well.
Karla Magnussen: Came in Monday with a bag full of clothes brand new with tags still on them shoes and all she offered me 12 dollars 12 for the whole bag so I declined.. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me cause she has done tthis same thing before last summer so I asked my white homegirl to take the clothes in the next day to see what she would offer her and was shocked she gave her 48 almost 50 dollars for the same exact clothes she was trying give me 12 dollars for.. not saying she racist but I do the math
Jarlecia Patterson: I brought a trash bag full of brand new 12 month old clothes( with the tags still on them)that my 18 month old daughter never wore. She told me she did not want my service and that I could leave. I don't think this store is minority ( Black) ppl friendly. She was very RUDE!
Zarese Arrington: Good place
Lauren Jones: My husband was in KC (from our home outside of Joplin) for our son’s rehab at Childrens Mercy. Our boy had a big time accident while napping in the car, and dad was frantically trying to find a place nearby to buy a replacement outfit. I called found Annie’s and called ahead to make sure they were open. They had an outfit in his size pulled and waiting for him! This small business saved our day! Thank you!!
Nyisha Jones: Love this place! Reasonable prices and the owner is super nice and pays a fair price for children's items you sell to her. Highly recommend this place for children's clothing.
Carol H: A friend had some secondhand children's clothes that were in good shape, and I wanted to help her find the best home for them, so I went to Annie's. What a great place! The store is well-laid out; the racks of clothes are easy to look through, and the shelves are open and easy to browse. Annie's has a LOT of stuff, but it's not overwhelming because it's organized.Annie was able to appraise all the clothes I brought in within 24 hours, and was able to offer money for the pieces she kept to sell. The rest she returned to me so they could be donated elsewhere. The process was simple and straightforward. The store is fairly easy to access; it's right on 39th Street, to the west of Southwest Trafficway. And her hours are convenient for both the shopper and the potential consignee.I appreciate Annie offering an option for moms who need to divest themselves of their children's older clothes, and an option for moms who need to find some good-quality clothing at a reduced price. Thanks so much!
Kristy Anderson: Great selection of kids clothes! I've also sold her things several times and she gave a fair price!
Erika Brown: Great place to find gently used name brand clothing items for a reasonable price.
Ashlee Gardner: Great prices and very kind owner!
K. S. (WannaBGourmande): It's kind of hidden gem! It appears to be run as a nonprofit and it's not exactly the best organized, but boy can the prices not be beat! Even better, they take donations for your gently used children's clothing so you can recycle. Word to the wise: this is volcker/westport adjacent and that means every so often you are going to see someone trying to sell something in the parking lot, be it a game station or a pair of boots. My advice to you is to leave them alone and not let it deter you from this awesome place. Everyone here is trying to make a living the best way they can so as long as it's not hurting anybody I say go for it.
Shanee “Lady Savage Red” Martin: Great prices and service.
Abe Watt: Cool place
Renita Hart: Awesome little kid resale boutique!
Michael Lawrence Mathews Sr.: Great place to shop for kids shoes
Curtis Taylor: Been going there since I was a kid and it's great I shop there for my kids now sometimes

Wild Child Resale: what do users think?
Katlyn Hicks: I love shopping here! I have for years and always find wonderful things. The staff is always helpful. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door and make sure to tell you their sales they are having. I also appreciate that they are NEVER pushy in trying to get you to buy things. Sometimes you even find brand new things at half price. The stuff I get there is always clean and definitely worth the price you pay for them, not too expensive at all!
Rachel Graham: Great store that has lots of different items! All different sizes and staff is very friendly.
Corinne Aguila: This was my first time in the store, and I couldn’t have felt more welcomed! I said it was my first time and they explained how everything worked very clearly. I was a walk in with my resale items (if you have more than 20 you have to make an appointment) and it took maybe 7 mins for them to finish looking at my items! They basically took everything and offered a great in store credit! I will definitely be returning! I also scored 4 adorable outfits and a new Royals windbreaker all for $27!
karin slack: Great staff great payouts great clothes. Great all the way around!
Joanne Cus: Very friendly staff and very cute clothes, shoes and accessories!!!
Keshawnda Anthony: They have several styles and selections to choose from...I will shop here alot more
Tomiko Enomoto: Love this store. They always have quality consignment items and it’s very organized. The staff is always super friendly as well.
Agatha Spottswood: Got many items, much to choose from in all sizes. They usually have some deal going on any time I’ve stopped in.
Elvia Beck: It was my first time shopping at Wild Child and the staff was amazingly kind. Beautiful products for children of all ages in almost new condition. Definitely will be returning!
Kaitlyn Magner: Great selection, name brand children’s clothes. Also, a wonderful area full of used children’s books for parents and elementary teachers!
Stefany Oyler: What a wonderful place. Everyone was so helpful and kind!
Madison Myers: Adorable store PACKED with clothes, toys, books, accessories and so much more for children of all ages. The prices are also absolutely phenomenal. As well as the staff. Do yourself a favor and spend your money here!
Cailin Morrow: My fiancé went into the store yesterday and left with nothing but great things to say. Great customer service, and a ton of great clothes and toys new and used at great prices!
Verna Holmes: This was my first time selling at this store and the experience and customer service was awesome !!!
Sara-Elizabeth D: For being a second-hand Children's store this isn't a kid-friendly space. I didn't appreciate the employee glaring at my toddler while she was looking and yes touching the toys. I found an item and looked it up online. It was 4 dollars cheaper brand new.
D Gladback: The staff are so kind and helpful, every time we go in they make sure to ask us if we need help finding something specific. They are also sure to let us know about any deals going on. Most of the stuff is like new. I’ve seen reviews saying stuff is overpriced but it’s usually brand new and half or less than half the price of brand new stuff. We love this place and will continue to support by shopping there.
Marla Veyera: Love this store! They have the brands you loveat a great price. And there's always a friendly person to tell you about the specials and to help you with anything you might need. Got great help from Ari today!
Tori Loving: Lots of different styles of clothing in great condition! Very fair pricing
Summer Manley: Very friendly staff, extremely clean and tidy store. They offer reasonable rates for sellers on newer items, more than what you would receive if you had a garage sale.
Sharon: Plenty of very nice items to choose from. Debbie helped me find just the right dress for my 2 year old daughter!
Shannon Bullock: They were very helpful when I went in and explained I was having a grandson. I even got a cute bow tie with a discount.

Kids Closet Connection: what do users think?
Keely Eller: The concept is awesome, especially for new parents that have to buy SO MUCH STUFF to welcome a newborn.
Charity Power: Couldn’t find the place - no directions as to how to find it within the huge Center. No number to contact. Waste of my afternoon
Judy Vermillion: Haven't been here ...
Jesus Jefag: Es un gran evento de ropa juguetes accesorios para niños bebés, partes usadas y. Uevas6 aunque es solo por dos o tres días. Todo a precios muy bajos. Buscarlo como convention center de overland park kansas.
Kenna Wright: Great deals
Reham Alabdalla: Compared to other consignment shops I found better deals here than anywhere else. Good selection but try to go early if you can before all the good stuff is gone. Also. On 1/2 price days it does not mean EVERYTHING is 1/2 off. Only select items are 1/2 off so don't be fooled! Overall, great selection. I think what really sets it apart is how BIG of a place and how much stuff they have. Also, give yourself lots of time to hunt through, it's very organized but there's alot of things to look through!
The Very Reverend Mathias Lust: Got some great books and cute clothes
Jenny Colwell: You're website says you are open but you are not until November. Change your website. Wasted trip.
Jennifer Vallejo: As a shopper you can find good deals; but as a consigner I had a bad experience at the Lee's Summit sale. It was my first time as a consigner, and when I went to pick up my stuff, the workers at the door failed to inform me that I needed to look at the lost and found table, so I did not know about it. I did not even know that items could be lost! They lost me 19 items, one of them was a kids’ kitchen, which was pretty big to be lost. When I called, they told “Oh yes, we remembered it was sold”. Even though the kitchen was sold, it was not on my sold items list. In other words, if I had not reviewed my items, I would have never found out about it. When, I asked about the other 18 items, they said that they do not have control over sold items or stuff that was in the sale. They said that everything that was lost was going to their ministry. They sent me a check for the sold kids’ kitchen, but nothing else. I insisted twice to get reimbursed about the other 18 items, but they did not respond to my requests. Sadly, I won’t participate in this sale again. I don’t think it is quiet professional, neither ethical not to have any control over sold items or stuff they receive from consigners. My items could have been sold and I never got the money, they could have been stolen…I will never know! I would not recommend Kids’ Closet Connection for sellers.
Jeff Day: Great deals.
Elizabeth Campbell: There is always a great selection and wide variety of styles and sizes--even for older kids. I have been going since before my daughter was born (11 years ago!) and have always felt lucky to be able to get her great clothes, not spend a billion dollars, and keep clothes in circulation instead of landfills. The sale is on the calendar twice a year.
Jen C: Great discounts, friendly volunteers. Plus I made several hundred dollars from consigning. This is a great place to shop for babies and kids.
LaNaya Hernandez: Great prices but some are to high but easy to find what I need
Amy Neely: There is no store here. It's an event held at a hotel, and the address is for the hotel.
Jillian Summers: Great event! Friendly people and high quality kids items at affordable prices! Easy to sell here also!
Deaton Carroll: As a first time consigner very helpful!
Griselda Domingo: si me gustó muchísimo
Stephanie Smitka: Quality clothing and toys for children of all ages.
Susan Mrkvicka: Great experience both as a consignor and as a shopper!

Once Upon A Child Overland Park: what do users think?
Elizabeth: This place is a joke they lowball you on bringing in stuff but are high on stuff that they sell I took my stuff somewhere else and got offered more than what they offered me
Tiffany Dunbar: Do not recommend a total waste of time
Kelsi Seely: Incredibly rude and unhelpful. Not worth anyone’s time.
Samantha K: Definitely had a change in heart on a review I left previously. Only because I sold some clothing...... and it wasn't worth the gas money going there. Better off doing a garage sale. They nixed a ton of cute trendy stuff and bought the stuff that was....interesting. I wasn't mad but my brain couldn't comprehend the logic on that. And all I thought was any struggling parent would absolutely use or buy these clothes. The only logic I could think was someone had a personal taste or they had too much in stock for a specific gender/size. I do disagree with another person's review on the quality they select. It's not all nice high end gently used clothes. I did see some nice clothing and some name brands but I also saw clothes with stains, ruff looking outfits and some gaudy catch phrase clothes. I feel like you never know what you will find there.
Mary Frances Horton: Don't feel they offer enough for quality, like new clothing that you take in to sell.
McKenzie Williams: Deals are pretty good. Customer service is nonexistent. While checking out the cashier talked to her coworkers the entire time about nonwork related topics. The only reason I'd come is for the deals on clothes.
Rachel: Great resale shop for kids clothes. Like the ability to sell back clothes and put the money towards new clothes. They don't always buy things back even when in good condition so it's really hit or miss on the buy back procesa
Mayra Torres: Customer service is non existent. The staff is rude and not very welcoming.
Aaron Lewis: Great kids clothes at a discount price! Great place to find clothes that are in Nice condition and very cheap!
Dawn Boyer: Staff was nice, the quality of items was not great. In the past Once upon a Child carried items that were in much better condition.
TR Wages: Good resale shop, well organized and staffed.
Janie Aita: Waste of time. I had dropped clothes off here before and then shopped for other clothes. It always went well. The last 2 times I have dropped off clothes they took almost nothing. The lady said that they check "every tag" to see if they are older than 5 years and maybe a lot of them were older. I pointed to the nearly new Adidas pants on the top and she said - oh, I don't know why they didn't take those.... . Don't waste your time. I have been taking my clothes to the OUAC in St Louis for years with no issues. I will not be returning to this location.
Beverly Andrews: Love love love!!! Great place to get gently used kids clothes for a great price.
TK: They've raised the prices on everything. It's really unfortunate.
haleigh rheuport: horrible and rude staff, first time there and i get attitude about what i’m doing there when i was in 1 hour before dropping off. they don’t take the time to actually ask you anything and just assume. horrible staff!!!
Kara D: You don’t go here for cheap clothes. Garage sales and thrift stores are your best bet for that. Go here for nice, gently-used clothes at discounted rate, compared to original prices.Pros: Very well organized and a bit overwhelming, in a good way.Cons: a bit overpriced. Cheaper than retail of course, but a lot more than an average thrift store.Neutral: I didn’t attempt to sell anything, but like others have said, they seem pretty picky about what they take, based on the season and supply/demand. That’s how most consignment places are though. They can’t take everything. And they have rules about it, so just do your research beforehand so you don’t waste your time.
Kyle Tritsarolis: I can’t imagine playing full price for kids clothes!Great prices, and they don’t mind when you take the kids to play with the toys for sale while your wife shops.
Megan Biggs: Great selection
Jessica Flynn: Used to be much better a few years ago...Brought in a huge tote full of new- tags still on clothes... and they took a small handful of items for $14.00. Absolute waste of time and gas... The money made didn't even cover the gas spent.I'll be checking out Reah' Lana (?) next time and won't bother with this again.
Melenia Ahmadi: They advertise that they buy stuff all the time... They don't. Make sure you call up there before going.
Caleb Money (CMoney): I like this place been here twice so far and probably will go back as long as I can for kids clothes and maybe even some cool toys to find. Everything is priced reasonably and lots of clothes for all sizes of kids.

Children's Orchard: what do users think?
Laura Monsanto: When Children's Orchard changed to KCGrowCo, I was nervous of what change would occur. I'm so relieved to say that if anything - the store got even better. I enjoy KCGrowCo's new reward system, I feel that they are now offering more giveaways and opportunities than ever before, and I feel my overall experience with the store has been fantastic. I appreciate their efforts to branch out beyond what other resell shops do, by providing events that partner with other local businesses and Monday night live shopping on Facebook. The staff is kind and knowledgeable, there is always a good explanation if they can't buy something from you, and the prices/quality of items is great!
leah Bazaldua: This place is not seller friendly. Stay away if you’re selling your kids clothes. No explanation on why they didn’t take them. Guess Puma isn’t name brand enough for them.
John Rodriguez: The is the most outstanding staff I have ever dealt with. Not only are they professional and courteous they really care about your experience. They not only care about you, they care about children. I’ll make all my stops forever at KC Grow Co.
Reva Estes: This is the BEST kids resale clothing store in town.
Stella Zhang: Have been shopping here for my 4 yo’s clothes for over 3.5 years now. Most of his wardrobe has always come from KC grow co, and formally children’s orchard. Love the selection and also the frequent sales on top of their already great prices!
Cheryl Huffman: Love, love, love this store! Been shopping here for 6 years now (in Olathe Kansas) and will continue to shop here for a long time. I have 2 grandchildren (6 yr old, 3 yr old) and one that is to arrive 4/12/2023. Love the toys, baby, toddler, and elementary clothes. I love to sell and buy there and love how polite all the workers are. Highly recommend this store!
L B: I love this sweet store! I always find what I need, the people are friendly and the store is well lit and clean. One of my favorite places to find really cute clothes for my grandkids. On a Grandma budget too!
Joni Hiatt: So many great choices! Great prices and easy to find racks of clothing, toys, shoes and furnishings. Always my go-to, should be yours too!
Sara Bundy: As a mom of 2 - I love coming into KC Grow Co to find what great deals they've added each week! Sleepers for the baby, trendy shirts for the tween, they've got it and it feels great to go green and buy gently (and I mean very very very gently) used!
Erica Armstrong: Love this store!❤️ Everything is always neat, clean, and not only sorted by size..but colors of the rainbow!🌈 The staff (Reva, Lauren, & Jordan) are friendly and fun! Come check it out!
Melissa Dawdy: We've been shopping at this location for years and the staff are AMAZING! They are incredibly welcoming to all. I have a child who fears dressing rooms at stores and feels unwelcome in said stores, but felt safe and welcome in this store! That there is GOLD! We also love the variety of sizes and items offered in this store. I've only sold to them once and they were very fair on their buying offer.
Shelby: Everyone was nice but I took in a bin of clothes, all bought in the last 6 months and they only took a few sets.Nothing was stained, they even said so but they ONLY buy baby clothes that are put in a SET. Sadly the website doesn’t state this, which it should because I could have easily made everything into a set since there was a ton of outfit options (shorts, onesies, pants, overalls) that they could have made into a set themselves.I’d probably go again but I’d rather sell at the pop up consignment shops to make more
Andy Wright: Wonderful place to find some great deals.
Judy Black: After months of planning, I love the new name and updates to the store! Same great prices and the best customer service! Please check it out…better than ever before!
Kyle Tritsarolis: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Best selection of used clothes and toys around. We used to use Once Upon a Child, but got tired of the staff being so rude.
Jennifer Attebery: Love this store and the employees! A great place to find all of the name brand clothes and toys my kids love at an AMAZING discount!! Love selling my stuff here too!!
Michelle Powell: Wonderful experience!! Absolutely pleasant ladies who helped me beyond their job description to help me today!!
Megan Coffey: I have been shopping here for going on a decade! I am a huge consignment shopper and KC Grow Co sets the bar so high. They have the best inventory, pricing, employees, and incredible sales. I love having the ability to shop both online and in store. I try to shop small as often as I can and there aren't enough words allotted in this review to say enough wonderful thing about this store's owner, Anne. This store truly has a family feel and I'm so lucky to be a part of it. 5,000/5 stars.
Rebecca Bell: This store is near and dear to my heart. My mother bought my clothing, toys, and equipment here when I was a young tot and then I became an employee right out of high school. I left for college but every time I came back, I was welcomed with open arms! This store and the staff just go above and beyond for their customers as often as they can. AND the gently used items are the best in the area!! Definitely recommend selling your gently used items AND shopping here regularly!
Patty Mendez: I really wish I could give 0 stars. I have sold to this store in the past and I know what they go for and what they dont. They pick out the name brand items and give you back your "junk" basically. Then they offer you a couple bucks and ask if youd like to donate the items they didnt pick. Ultimately, I thought I had it figured out. At home, I made sure to pick out only the items that were either new or in great condition and name brand. I figured Id give them a try. After dropping off and being texted that my stuff was ready they offered me $10 for four pairs of shoes(one pair alone was worth about $30) and two really cute Gap overalls for girls. Ive never felt so disrespected by such an offer. When i asked them if I declined I can get my stuff back he said no. I took my money and really plan to never go there again. They scam you, I have better luck selling that stuff myself and walking away with some dignity. Dont sell to this place guys, there buying process is so unjust. And then they overprice the really used clothes people end up donating. I left home so disappointed.
Adrian Flores: I literally never do reviews but this was a terrible experience. I have never traded in kids clothes so maybe this is normal but I took 3 large bags of kids clothes, with at least 2 pairs of jeans that were worn 1 time. Never got a text or call and had to call back the next day for them to offer me $6. Literally waste of gas, told them they could just keep it and needless to say I won't be going back.

Troost39 Thrift Store: what do users think?
Andy G: Small, but packed with great stuff. I love how they keep their prices low even through inflation, hoping to serve the immediate community who may not otherwise be able to afford a nice interview outfit or set of dishes for a new apartment (for example). Like I said, fairly small location but they have a little bit of everything - clothes, shoes, home goods, art supplies, bags, furniture, lamps, electronics, outdoor stuff, rugs, etc. I usually always find at least a couple things when I go there, and as mentioned, typically for an awesome price. One of my favorite thrift stores in the KC metro. The only “downside” is their proximity to social services organizations that serve the socioeconomically disadvantaged, as well as bus station on 39th and Troost, etc. Unfortunately, some of the individuals that are wandering right outside can be a little mean-spirited/aggressive; last time I was there, just a few days ago, a man was outside yelling vulgarities at me and demanding I “get out of there.” Semi-threatening. It feels completely safe inside the store, and there is a nice large parking lot with decorative fence, but I’d recommend locking car/securing valuables/etc. Not at all a fault of the thrift store, just an unfortunate circumstance of an unfortunate economy and our society’s failure to adequately respect and support disadvantaged populations. I’d be angry, too.All in all, definitely recommend shopping here and supporting this thrift store’s mission.
Bonnie: Staff is always courteous and friendly. The store is jammed full of treasures waiting for the right person. They have always made donating items super easy.
Mary Wheeler: One of the most unique thrift shops.
Gertrude Vitela: Great store! Whether you are shopping or donating your clothes/personal items, Troost39 Thrift Store works offers the rare fusion of quality, care and social responsibility.
Daryl Canas: A superb and unique selection of clothing for women & men. Especially love the monthly theme events where the thrift shop changes up inventory. Super easy to donate too as well!
Ronald Kahn: One of the best thrift stores in the city, because of its gorgeous selection! Some items are "high-end," so you might pay a little more!
Jesus Roth: Always a treat to pop in during the work day to find something sparkly or unique. The shopping experience is wonderful as they organize sections to browse based on color.
Mark Ragsdale: Really good finds, surprisingly great price, and super good customer service.
Beverly Knox: I found this lovely thrift store tucked right beneath a section of the High-Line walking trail. To my surprise I saw that they carry a beautiful rotating collection of second hand items, and even one of a kind pieces. Thank you for being in business.
Robert Howell: A strong well organized community based shop I felt, and staffs were very welcoming!!
Alma Aragon: They made the process of a pick up donation seamless and incredibly easy. The folks who arranged the pick up were great, the two guys who came and made the actual pick up were so pleasant and efficient and got the job done in just a few minutes.
Amy Owens: A great curated selection of items. The store is well let, always clean and has plenty to sort through. Thank You for all your help!
Brett Sterling: Doors are often locked in the middle of the day even though hours are posted 10am-4pm. This has happened to me 3 different times.
Karissa Sorensen: Friendly staff & inventory changes daily
Myrtie Tirrell: Great people and great merchandiseStaff friendly
andi kirk: I always find great stuff here! And their prices can’t be beat.
Griffin Peoples: It's an okay place for good shopping bargains
Ernest Morrow: Christian organization..... Very good people and good stuff.... 👍
JeanHelene Davis: Their stock changes frequently depending on donations. Prices have increased 20-25% on many items. Owners & one 'nasty' employee are still there - all other sales help left & newer not as nice are in place. Lots of favoritism apparent & the employees again 'getting first choice' which had stopped ... and at less than what same items on floor sell for
Jill DeWitt: Saved another trip to a Big Box store! Picked up a cooler for $2.50. Feels good to recycle as well!
Sasha Minx: Staff is always courteous and help the community when they do not have funds!
